STAY AWAY!!! The owner is rude, makes threats if you don't pay for charges that were never discussed and he's a liar. He lied to me and threatened me over the phone and refused to finish the job. He then called the building inspector and tried to hold up my project unless I paid him more money after he was already paid in full. This guy is dishonest and disrespectful. I wouldn't be surprised if many past clients feel the same way and had similar experiences with him.
My first encounter with Adam and his company I had a water softener blow out. Adam talks very confidently and with a lit of experience but his price seemed high at $3-$5k to flush out my lines and water heater alone. I found another company that did the entire job for less than $1,000.
I decided to use him for a rough-in on another job remodeling my master bath about 6 months later when he quoted me $1,400 to do the rough-in for the shower valve and shower liner. I paid the $400 deposit and met him out at the job to discuss and show him the valve. When his guys came out to do the job they installed the valve I supplied and the liner. I called their office when they finished the job and paid in full the remaining $1,000. Adam then has his office call me demanding $375 more for additional work.
I asked the office to have Adam call me and when he did the first words out of his mouth were You'll never get your final inspection done and I'll get my money when you try to sell the place. I tried to explain to him that he met me at the job and held the valve in his hand that I supplied and quoted me $1,400. He then told me he would just charge time and material to come back and finish the faucets and trim when the tile was done, but since I was supplying all material it would just be by the hour with 2 guys. Adam cut me off and said This is why I don't do business with you realtors or contractors cause you always do stuff like this and get your money. He went on to explain I told him about my money problems and how the market was slow...Obviously this guy Adam is confused or a liar because I don't sell real estate nor am I currently a contractor. I never had this conversation with him ever. At this point Adam threatened me again and said I'll never be able to finish this job and he'll get his end eventually. Adam then hung up on me. This is over $375...
He then called me back and said he called the building inspector and told him I removed to much drywall and he should flag my job and require and contractor license and a re-inspection and then said good luck and hug up.
This guy should be banned. I will be filing a formal complaint about him and conduct and his predatory billing practices that I'm sure has happened to others.
Just wanted to give a review for Guardian Plumbing, and its owner Adam. Never got around to it, but Adam, did a great job of installing a new toilet about a year ago. He was right on time, finished early, efficient, and gave a reasonable price. I was so happy with him and the work he did. I gladly recommend his company. I will be hiring him again when I have another plumbing need, but I know he does much more. Unbelievable quality work. He is the best.
The houses in my neighborhood have Polybutylene plumbing, which can rupture and cause a flood, or a small leak that can ruin you drywall. That's the case here. I met with Adam on Tuesday and his crew was here on Thursday. They were extremely courteous and friendly. They made minimal cuts in my walls to re -pipe my entire house.
It was a loud, messy ordeal, but now, I have peace of mind about my plumbing.
It took almost 2 days to complete the work. I'm happy I bit the bullet and had it done. Guardian set me at ease about the process.
Why 5 Stars? Honest, on time, and got us out of a horrible situation when our house was flooded and needed some serious repair. In addition, calls for service later on were met with the same integrity and customer service.
Warning! Five Star Long-Term review ahead! Guardian Plumbing is fantastic. We had a little situation back in the summer which consisted of water coming out of the walls and floor, having to deal with insurance and then finally bathroom remodel and plumbing remediation. I had another plumber cancel on me last minute to re-do our plumbing in the bathroom and Adam at Guardian not only was there that afternoon to look at what I needed to do for the bathroom but also promised to be there the next day to do the job in the bathroom. We're not talking about a simple fix either. We're talking about a whole re-pipe of that bathroom going from the garage to the back bathroom. He educated me on pipes in Florida and how this can be common. The next week we ended up having the whole how re-piped and had a filter system installed just because of this. This last step was not required but after debate with my wife we thought it was the best thing because we didn't want to deal with having to do this again in other parts of our house. Remember the fairy tale where someone stops a leak in one part of a dam and it starts leaking out of a lot of other places? Yah, we didn't want that. Whole house was re-piped in 2 days and that included an area near the kitchen island where the didn't even have to tear up our floors! That was a miracle. Adam and crew have ways of figuring out how to get pipes re-routed where they need to go with minimal destruction. So basically I was left with a few covered holes behind appliances that we'll never see and a hole in my wife's closet where they needed to run pipes to the master bedroom. All of these things could be drywalled over at a later date as they do put covers over these holes to make them look nice afterwards. The best part about the whole thing? House was pretty clean afterwards. Adam and crew pride themselves for leaving things how they left them. The past 6 months with new pipes and whole-home filter for the house has been great as well. Better skin, can drink out of all taps, etc.
OK, now the second story. Not as epic but same customer service! Had some teenagers staying with us a few weeks while the family was in town visiting. When they left BOTH sinks and shower were jammed up. Called Guardian and they were out the next morning, fixed my stopped up stuff and all for a reasonable price considering how much stuff were stopping things up!
While most people probably wouldn't look forward to the next time they have to use a plumber, I will be certain that when I do I won't hesitate to know that the job will be done right, workers will be on time and issues will be solved!
Thank you Guardian!
Awesome company. Needed some maintenance on a water heater. Called in the morning, they quoted me a great price. Came by a few hours later and got the job done.
While they were here, they also checked my sinks and laundry room. I need to replace one other minor thing for which they will be back tomorrow to do.
Overall, a very smooth and positive experience. I like this company and I recommend them. Oh yeah, and reasonably priced.
This project was a whole home water reroute due to a slab leak. Adam's name/number were given to me by the plumber who diagnosed the leak location but did not have time on the schedule to do the reroute. It seems that even before Adam returned my call, he coordinated his team to stand by for an almost immediate repair. They came the next day and with 4, the complete reroute was accomplished by the end of the day. The cost came in at less than 2 other quotes, the service and professionalism impeccable. The workers he had were willing and motivated to do the work right, in constant communication during various times in the project. I can not say enough good things to express how much I recommend Guardian Plumbing.

I have hired Guardian Plumbing to do several jobs in my house and have referred them to a friend. They have always been been curtious and prompt. I know I can call Adam to get a quote and a breakdown of the work needed. I highly recommend this company. The friend I referred was also very happy with the work and I will be happy to refer again.
We had a garbage disposal that was leaking and needed replacing. Adam came right over and replaced it in the same morning I called him. He was fast and the price was very reasonable. I will definitely use Guardian Plumbing for future work.
