Jim's Plumbing & Heating

We had a burst pipe in one of the coldest spells in Massachusetts history. We called many plumbers. Jim was the only plumber willing to fit us in on the same day. He did a swift, efficient and clean job. We couldn't recommend him more highly.

I had to get the plumbing work done and working with Jim was outstanding.

Jim was really pleasant to deal with, always on time and easy to communicate with.

The work was initiated as explained and finished in time. He explained the work he did in details and completed the job. I have already given his name to my friend who is looking to get the plumbing work done.

Jim showed up exactly when he said he would and helped troubleshoot a leaky drain in my kitchen sink. He did the work within a half hour and was very professional. I would highly recommend Jim for your plumbing/heating needs! He even went the extra mile and helped secure a loose railing on my front porch :)

Jim is friendly, very knowledgeable, and does great work at a great price!  He was able to set up a next-day appointment for our yearly boiler maintenance, and he even gave me operating tips that saved me money later on.  I highly recommend him!

We had a 4-5 drain pipe from our bathroom burst. Jim called right back and managed to come the same morning and do a temporary patch. He wasn't able to do the full repair immediately, but arranged for another company to come the next day, and gave us an idea of the price range to expect. We were/are very grateful!

We've used them a bunch of times. Responsive, professional, no upsell or any of that crap that some of the other companies in this area pull. They will take a small job too.

Very punctual, personable, and professional.  Jim was extremely responsive to phone calls and emails.  Jim was the third plumber I dealt with to get radiator valves replaced.  The first did 1 out of the 5 valves and never came back to do the remaining 4.  He said he's busy and prioritize his jobs based on urgency.  This is not something a customer wants to hear, that they're not a priority, especially when the valves are leaking with winter around the corner.  I then called another plumber and he quoted me a price that was untouchable.  But then when it's time to do the work, he showed up with no parts so he left for the day to get parts. He tried to get me to pay for parts up front when he went to get them, but I told him I'll pay once I see the parts.  Second time he came back he said he forgot the tools.  Then the third time, he never showed up.  He said he truck broke down and won't be able to make the appointment.  We pushed that meeting out one week and when the time comes, it was no-call-no-show.  Needless to say, I blocked his number and requested he never try to reach out to me again.  Good thing I didn't pay him anything.  I then looked for a plumber that's service the Waltham area that had the highest rating.  I didn't care about cost at this point.  I reached out to Jim.  He asked me for measurements and went to get parts.  Then he was there at the house two days later and the job was done in 2 hours.  I guess third time's the charm.  Jim is not the least expensive, but he's the most reliable.  It's really true that you get what you pay for.  Unless you get scammed, then that's a whole different story.

Jim replaced two hot water heaters and two boilers in our two family.  He would always call right back if we had a question.  Jim was very dependable and even helped get us an electrcion and chinmney people. I would highly recommend him.

We use Jim whenever we have any plumbing issues. Jim is always quick to respond and he lets us know when he will be able to get to us.  Today we had an emergency as our dishwasher was causing flooding in the apartment below us due to pipe obstructions.  We were so thankful that Jim could come and fix the problem for us.  Jim has always been professional and a pleasure to deal with. We recommend him to all our friends and family.

Jim's is the best!! Our water heater broke thanksgiving day. I called Jim's Friday morning and before noon time we had a new heater. He is professional, courteous, knowledgeable and affordable. So grateful that we found him and we will use him moving forward. Excellent resource for all things plumbing and heating.
