All the people that gave this company a thumbs up were very new customers from what it sounds like.   I've had mine about 4 years.  The installation was not a bad experience.   But they tell you it needs to be serviced periodically (like annually) but they have no-body to service them and will not send anyone out.  This is not COVID-related because I have dealt with this since installation.  I did get lucky the first year and they sent someone to service the equipment for something like $350.  But after that, they don't return calls....if you catch someone on the phone they tell you they will get someone scheduled.   BUT nobody ever calls.   Last time I attempted, one of the owners said they just don't have anyone to service them.   I asked for a referral to a company that could service them and they told me we won't recommend anyone because nobody out there is good enough.   So they get your money and then you are totally on your own after that.  I know there must be other companies out there that sell, install AND service their product.

Bestway Mechanical installed a new electrical box and solar panels for us last year. Every aspect of the job was a hackjob.  The lacing in of our shingles to the legs of the solar support looked like a kindergartner did it.  Ran conduit down the middle of a stucco wall when they could have run it 1 foot over by the gutter like I asked, now we have permanent holes in the stucco, nothing about the panel was done correctly, still don't have the correct cover, nothing is labeled correctly. Couldn't pass inspection the first time due to inept installers. Had trouble with the monitoring system, took them months to respond, and that only happened after I got sunpower involved. Caught them in numerous lies. The only thing these guys care about is cashing your check, stay far away!!

NEVER RELY ON THIS COMPANY TO PROVIDE RELIABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE OR TO CONTACT YOU WITH ANY ACCURATE UPDATE. HORRIBLE Experience - only time they contacted me first was to set sales appointment, all other contact was initiated by me. Told me installation would be week before Thanksgiving.  I called a week after Thanksgiving because no one came to install and no contact that they wouldn't make it.  I asked to be kept updated during that conversation. I heard nothing and called week before Christmas to say postpone until new year. Received call back from manager (Brian) that installation could occur yet that week but didn't get expected arrival time for scheduled day. I asked at 9am when to expect crew since hadn't heard anything. Response was soon, crew just down street to do something quick at another site then be there soon. At 11, I checked since crew still hadn't arrived. Manager was surprised crew still hadn't arrived. Manager told me at 11:20 crew was driving on their way to be there in 2-5 minutes. At 11:50 crew still hadn't arrived and I called manager again telling him someone had lied about status and that I cancelled the contract to install.  The crew finally arrived at 12:01. I was extremely frustrated in the lack of truth and support provided to this point, but the story isn't done yet. Manager stated they would mail refund check to me. I said I didn't want to wait that long to receive it. The check needed 2 signatures and wouldn't be available until late Thursday. Manager said he would let me know when we could meet to get the check. Manager never made contact or responded to a request regarding availability of check on Friday. Manager finally responded to call on Saturday morning by texting at 9am instead that check was available but he was at job site and would return to office soon. At around 12am I arrived at the office and no one was there yet. Finally the manager arrived about 15-20 minutes later and I received the check.

Worst. Do not bother, you WILL regret it.
Brian could not care less, and he sends guys who just jumped the border, to do the job (cheap and wrong).
Go elsewhere. My story is long, but the bottom line is still the above.

We are dissatisfied with the support Bestway Mechanical has given us with our boiler. They overcharged us by exaggerating the actual time spent onsite for a boiler service and by not honoring their quoted hourly rate. They sent a tech who was not familiar with our boiler and who arrived without the required part, despite prior assurances to the contrary.  Bestway installed the wrong part that didn't work, but nevertheless charged us for the time wasted by their tech in doing so. They claimed to be unfamiliar with the current parts list for our boiler, which is posted on the manufacturer's web site. They were unapologetic for making us wait for 3 hours for the tech to arrive before letting us know that he wouldn't be coming that day after all, and that we'd have to wait over the weekend for him to come over to repair our boiler. Bestway will not return phone calls and their salesman who quoted the job refuses to communicate by email.

We had a whole home HVR installed in our new house back in 2018. Right from the start the unit didn't work correctly. After many calls they finally came out and installed a new circuit board. The unit for the most part worked as it should, but we would have to unplug to reset it from time to time. Now in 2021 the unit stopped working all together. I left four messages for Brian to call me back and he never would. Finally I got a call from the receptionist and was told they didn't have time to come out and look at the unit. They recommend I call Eagle Plumbing & Heating, which I did and they answered my call right from the start and came out and had to replace the transformer. Bottom line is Bestway doesn't give a crap about you after the install. I would NOT recommend them for anything they do. But I would highly recommend Eagle Plumbing
