Even in this heat, an ice cold shower is still not comfortable. After putting it off as long as I could, I decided I finally needed to bite the bullet and pay to have a new water heater installed. Called Swift Water Heater, talked to Jay and he worked around my schedule to find a time that worked for me to have him come over and install my new water heater. The price was good and he didn't try to pressure me into something too expensive or necessary. He was straight and to the point, and I feel like I got an honest value. I normally don't get as excited about things like this but when I get a good product at a great deal, I'm stoked!

We returned from vacation to find out that we had no hot water. This is not the surprise that you want on a Sunday evening. I found Swift Water Heater and requested an estimate for a hot water heater replacement. I received the estimate in less than 15 minutes and was able to confirm the appointment for replacement the following morning. Their technician, Jose Flores, showed up 15 minutes early. He was friendly and professional. He explained what he was going to do and how long that we would be without water. Jose completed a very professional job in less than 2 hours! He left the work area clean and swept the garage for us. I was very pleased to see that final bill was $100 less than the estimate provided.

It's not often that I feel compelled to write a review. But I gladly wrote this review for a very professional and responsive company. Swift Water Heater deserves a 5-Star rating and Jose Flores is top notch! Great job!

I actually dont know what to say. I have NEVER had an experience with a service company like this before. I called Swift and got Jay on the phone. I told him my problem with my water heater not heating, he paused for a few seconds, asked me if was a GE model or not. I said it was. He asked me if I was handy, I said I was. He told me the issue was a thermo coupler, and I could go down and get one at Home Depot, watch a youtube video, and give me a call back and he would give me a few more pointers. He thought there was no need to pay over $200 dollars to them when I could do the work myself!!!?!?!? Wow...what service company have you EVER heard of who would do something like that??? To make a long story short, I got the part, watch the video, got some tips from Jay, and in about an hour I had fixed my water heater according to Jay's instructions. It cost me $15. THANKS JAY!!! I cannot say how impressed I was with you, and in the future if I have any water heater needs, or if any of my friends do, we will be using your services from now. Once again, I appreciate all the help!!

I found Jay by doing a search on yelp for a local plumber. The overwhelmingly positive reviews made me very (cautiously) optimistic. Well let me say he has 5 stars for a very good reason!
I emailed him at around 6pm on a Sunday night and got a response back in less than 10 minutes. He asked me to send him pictures of my problem/needs so he could assist. I followed with a call the next morning and he talked me through things. With his troubleshooting, It turned out that I actually didn't need his services. But he was more than willing to work with me to help understand that. Even talking to my contractor to make sure everyone was on the same page. When he could have taken advantage of the situation and made money with offering a service I didn't need he instead offered to help at no charge.
I will definitely keep his info for future plumbing issues as they arise. I definitely suggest you contact him!

Within a couple of hours Conner came out and replaced the thermocouple. Yay hot water. No drama, no ordering parts. He had what he needed on his truck. Hot water is such an important thing right now. Today I had Jay and his partner come out and replace my water heater. I was very impressed with Swift. I called and made my appointment yesterday, and they ran me through some simple troubleshooting tips to make sure it wasn't just an easy fix. Once we determined the tank was in fact leaking and I would need a new one she gave me the price. One, simple, straight forward out the door price, which was the same or up to 400 dollars less than the 3 others places I got quotes from. I was impressed by the system they use which sends you text updates including when your tech is on there way and a picture of them with there current location. Very streamline process from the personnel to the technology to the equipment.

The installation its self went very well. These guys know what they are doing. They do it very well and very fast. 90 minutes after they arrived I had hot water. Jay is super friendly, and awesome about answering any questions you may have about the equipment. Great customer service, from the first phone call until Jay left my house.

Water heater broke around 930am today and I called at 1030am. Susan was wonderful on service call, upfront about cost to replace heater, answered all my questions regarding what service entailed and sent tech out same day. They said they'd be here at 1, and at 1251pm my doorbell rang- the service tech JR was amazing, knowledgeable and courteous. He removed and replaced our water heater and was done by 3pm! Highly recommend this company!!!!

I called Mike Diamond first for a quote for a 50 gallon water heater replacement. It was over $2000. Swift Water Heater was seven hundred dollars less for the exact same heater. We called Jay from Swift the day we found out we didn't have hot water in the house. We thought our water heater broke and we needed to change the thermostat. Jay gave us a price quote, which we thought was very reasonable and he agreed to come the next day to fix it. He came the next day. Once he saw my water heater, he realized that my pilot light was off and that was the reason we didn't have hot water. We didn't need to fix anything. He was very honest and told us right away that nothing needed to be done. He helped us to turn the pilot light back on. He made a trip to our house in Anaheim, but he didn't charge us anything. I am really impressed with his integrity and his work ethics. If I need work on my water heater again, I will definitely call Jay again. He is very professional and I trust him completely.

At 4pm on a Friday, the day before we were leaving for a two-week driving vacation, we discovered our 13-year old 40 gal water heater was standing in 2 inches of water in the metal catch basin. After reading several of the 5-star Yelp reviews for Swift Water Heater, I called Swift. My phone call was answered by the 3rd ring, by an actual person, amazing. I explained the situation and provided them with the size of the current water heater and described the situation. They gave us a fair price and they were able to schedule the job for 8:00am the next morning. We really did not think we would get that lucky to find a company to do the job so quickly. Conner showed up promptly at 8am Saturday morning. He was friendly, courteous, and professional. He made very quick work of getting the old unit out and installing the new one, along with replacing the old water lines and earthquake strapping. He also took away the old water heater. We were able to get on the road and start our vacation by 10:30am that morning. We highly recommend Swift as a company that can provide quick, efficient, and professional service.

I needed to replace my old tankless water heater with a new one but I didn't have the extra cash to have it installed so I had to install it myself. My water heater went out on Christmas eve morning. I thought for sure I'd be without water for a few days. Jay, the owner came to my house within about 90 minutes to replace a part. He told me that 99 out of 100 times that solves the problem but in my case it did not. Turned out I needed a whole new water heater. Again, I figured I wouldn't have hot water for a couple of days but he called one of his employees and the employee agreed to come out in another hour. And at no extra charge on a holiday! He did a great job putting in the unit and was very professional, and very courteous. It is now 5:30 PM on Christmas Eve and I have hot water! My only disappointment was that I went to pay with a credit card and was told after the job was completed that there would be a 2% surcharge. That would've been nice to know before the job was started. But it was a small blip on a good experience. Would recommend these guys for sure!

I had the trying experience of having a busted water heater at a rental property in Costa Mesa recently. There are a great deal of generic repair services, but I was actually given Jay, and Switft Water Heaters as a referral. I still owe my friend a beer for recommending them. Jay did an amazing job - performed exactly as he stated he would, with no feeling of pressure or lack of comfort in the process and materials being used. He finished quickly and efficiently, and I believe it was a great deal in terms of cost.

He definitely adds a value just in being a genuine and honest business owner, and it shows equally in the quality of work that he did.

If you are looking for someone to do water heater repair or water heater install in Costa Mesa this is definitely the best choice.

Second time I've used Swift Water Heater. These guys do such great work. They change all the parts that should be changed, from pans, to blow out lines, to shut off valves. Everything that could fail over the next 6-10 years is changed. So you are 100% taken care of.

They are so clean and meticulous in their installation it's crazy. They make sure all lines are the correct length, carry 99% of what they need on the truck but if your job needs something special, they won't instal what ever they have they will go get the exact right part.

Jay and his team replaced my very old water heater into a tankless one. I had it scheduled the very next day and they installed it quickly. I really liked how they repainted the vent to make it look nice in my garage. So far, no issues and no regrets of choosing a tankless one over a traditional water heater. Quick fix on a SUNDAY!!!!!
When the pilot light on our waterheater stopped working Friday night we thought: No problem, we can fix this. Did quick YouTube search, decided problem was likely the thermocouple. Went to Home Depot Saturday morning, and hit our first snag. Our 8-yr-old Bradford White gas heater had a proprietary gas control box that would not connect to the universal thermocouples sold everywhere for $10-15.
We call around and find that BJ Discount Plumbing in Garden Grove has the pilot assembly we need. Yea!!!!
It's $75. Sigh.
We buy and install. Pilot light still won't stay lit. Booo!!!!
Looked like we need to replace the whole expensive control box. Time to call the professionals.
We called Jay with Swift Water Heater at 2 p.m. on Saturday. Fidgeted for 30 minutes waiting for a call back, then called Quick. Quick called back within 10 minutes, but took over an hour to talk to an actual technician. We discussed the issue and sent him some pics. He agree with out assessment. We'd need to replace the box. He could pencil us in for Monday. (Super bad timing for us. Not only would we be without water from Friday night through Monday afternoon, but neither of us could be away from work that day.)
Then Jay returned my initial call. We had the same conversation we'd had with quick. Sent the same pics. Came to same conclusion. But Jay could make it out Sunday morning. His price was about $50 less than Quick's quote and he could come a day earlier. Yippeee.
Jay arrived on time Sunday morning. He was polite and professional. It was a straight forward procedure, which he performed quickly and efficiently. He had a trainee with him, so I had the added benefit of hearing useful tips as Jay walked his trainee through some of the finer points of the replacement.
Jay took the time to suggest measures against water damage we could take since our water heater was in the house. He didn't up-sell; these were tasks we could do ourselves to ensure we could any water leak before damage was done.
Summary: Swift, efficient, professional, friendly and reasonably priced. What's not to love? I'll be calling Swift back when we need a new water heater.

These guys are great! It is very rare I have such a great experience with ANY company, much less a repair company. On Saturday afternoon, I walked into my laundry room and stepped into a puddle of water...never a good sign. I quickly surmised our 30 year old water heater was the culprit, as it was sitting in a huge puddle of dirty water. I got on Yelp, saw the stellar reviews (you know we are all wondering if these are just friends and family of the owners) but gave it a whirl anyways. Jay answered right away and quoted me a price. I had done some quick internet research just before and knew it was a fair price. What a good guy!

They came out later that afternoon. They were very nice, clean, and helpful. I cannot say enough great things. THAT is the way to run a company and I know if they keep up this service and pricing they will be around for the next time we need a water heater. These will be my go to guys when that happens. You know some companies name themselves to try to brainwash you about how good their service is? Like Speedy Loans, Super Clean Car Detailing, well, Swift Water Heater actually lived up to their name.

Had a dead water heater that was 13 years old. Hard water made this water look like it was growing a coral reef inside.

After trying to convince my home warranty company that water heater was shot, I got tired of waiting for their review process, which, after five days of wiping my body with baby wipes, was not convincing my neighbors that I valued personal hygiene.

I finally relented and called Swift back (they gave us an estimate on day 3 of this siege). The warranty company wanted us to use their vendor.

But today, the sixth day, I had enough. I called Swift at 10;10 AM. 11:40 am, Jose showed up with a brand new unit, complete with all new pipes, a new expansion tank, up-to-code straps and everything needed for a professional install.

The install took about 3 hours, partially because Jose insisted on waiting for another 30 minutes to let the water heat up and then checked every faucet in the house.

That, my friends, is how you live up to your name.

Five freaking stars! Wife and I are looking forward some steamy time in the shower.

Had them come out and check my Nest thermostat when it was acting up and other AC companies couldn't figure it out. They sent out Conner and he fixed it in about 20 mins, and it's been working perfect since. I've hired them for a handful of jobs- swapped a toilet, fixed a slab leak, and installed a salt water softener and water purifier. They always do great work, quickly, and are good dudes. Glad they got my AC covered now

I was impressed by Swift Water Heater, starting from the request a quote stage here on Yelp. Jay was very responsive, and asked pertinent questions regarding our needs, not once pushing to get us on the schedule like the other guys.

On the day of installation, we received a heads up text of who from the company was en route. It was nice to know the name of our installer in advance, which is also a great safety feature.

Conner arrived exactly on time to do the work. He was friendly, professional and demonstrated expert knowledge regarding the Navien tankless that we bought and how to install it. He was very efficient too, getting everything done in about 4 hours.

Before Conner left, he showed us how the Navien tankless worked, including what to do in the event of a natural emergency, like shutting off the gas.

We love our new tankless water heater! We got the model with the built-in recirculation pump for near-immediate hot water from every faucet. The Navien 210A really delivers, and the water pressure issues we experienced with our old tankless are now history!

We can't recommend Swift Water Heater enough. We look forward to having them out once a year to keep our Navien in top shape.

Chris from Swift Water Heater came out and helped us with a leak that was identified by our gas company in the hot water heater. We made the call over the weekend and they said that he would show up first thing Monday morning. Chris was on time and really a pleasure to work with. He confirmed the issue in the hot water heater control unit, worked with the manufacture as everything was still under warranty, got the part and had everything done the same morning. I would highly recommend Swift Water Heater, and specifically Chris, anytime for any plumbing issue that you run into.

Great experience! I contacted several companies to replace a 50 gallon water heater and Jay was the fastest to respond and the only one that would give me an upfront price, whereas others wanted to schedule a consultation, talk about their product options, etc. even after I told them exactly what I was looking for. Once I decided to go with Swift, Jay scheduled one of his guys to come out the same day. Connor came out and finished quickly and efficiently, and was professional, friendly, and honest. What Jay quoted me was exactly what I paid - no hard upsell, etc.

It is hard to find honest and transparent companies these days, but Swift Water Heater is one of them.

I called these folks for help with a hot water heater replacement. I had a couple of quotes and Swift was reasonably priced and I got a good impression from them, so I went with them. They did an excellent job and were pleasant to have in my home. Fast forward a couple of weeks later, I had an unrelated water leak that was noticed. They gave me a quote which I accepted and they sent out a few guys to do the work. They evaluated everything again and said that it would be more cost effective to go with another company and have the entire house replumbed instead of just rerouting this one line.

I did what they suggested and yes, their advice was correct - it was more cost effective to just replace the 60 year old plumbing. Having a team like this give up a job because it was the best thing for the customer is the kind of honesty in the trades that is unbelievably hard to find.

In sum, I couldn't recommend Jay and this team more. Thank you for being so helpful and honest!

We had a slab leak on the 12th. Called Jay and team and the problem was fixed on the 13th. Given where the leak was, and that I had an old water heater, we took the opportunity to swap out the old one and put in a Tankless water heater. The house is a bit older and he said it would be a good time to put in a water softening system, or potentially face a re-pipe, so I took him up on it and ALL that was done, next day. And a nice touch added, had a drywall guy come out and patch everything up... Very professional group, great work. Go with Jay, you won't be disappointed.

From my initial call I knew right away this company was going to offer me a great experience. Jay is extremely professional, efficient and sincerely cares about helping his customers. We have a couple tankless water heaters in a restaurant that have seen better days. One of them stopped working and Jay was able to get it back up and working and offer a couple replacement and upgrade options. Unfortunately we do not have the funds to do the updates right now but Jay was understanding and there was absolutely no pressure on his end. Hopefully we can save up and get the work done in a couple months. I have had to work with many different trades and easily Swift and Jay are amongst the best.

Swift installed a water heater system for us over a year ago. Recently, we noticed a possible small leak so I texted the owner to explain the situation late on a Saturday afternoon and by Monday morning first thing he had someone at our house. The tech he sent replaced a seal in no time and didn't charge us for the visit. I would highly recommend this company. I discovered I had a water heater leak in my garage and lots of mold along with it, not good. After contacting a few companies, I was so happy I decided to make one more call to Swift after reading there reviews.
After a few questions in, I new Swift was the company to do the job. It was clear they are true professionals and know how to remedy mold (which can be a serious issue if not handled properly) and install the right water heater. They came out promptly and outlined the process. They are thorough and do an above average job! Their fees are reasonable and I highly recommend them, the reviews are very true!

What can I say about Swift Water Heater? Simply put, They're AWESOME!!!! Jay and his crew are incredible!!! When my nearly ten year old water heater started leaking on a Saturday morning, I came to yelp to find a plumber with a high rating. Swift Water Heater came out on top according to yelp. So I gave them a call. Jay came out within two hours and was I ever impressed. He was very knowledgeable, and explained my options. While me and my wife were leaning toward going with a tankless water heating system, Jay pointed out the pros and cons to both the tank type and the tankless type. After all was said and done, he convinced us that the tank type would be best for us. How many plumbers would do that? He could have just installed the tankless system and charged us double. But he didn't do that. I felt he was genuinely looking out for our best interest and not his own. I do believe I've found a plumber that I will call again in the future when things come up. Him and his crew really know their stuff, and do great work. If you need an AWESOME plumber, don't hesitate for a second to call these guys. Have I mentioned that they're AWESOME? No one wants to order a new water heater and the fine people at Swift Water Heater understand that. They don't sit around trying to sell you things you don't need! I needed a new water heater after mine decided to leak water all over my garage Thursday night. I called different places on Friday, and not only could Jay do the job later that day, but his price was competitive with any other place I called.

Jay's super professional about everything - he even sent me a text to let me know that he had run into some traffic. Once he got to my house, he outlined what he was going to do clearly and finished the job in the time frame that he gave me. Afterwards he gave me some advice on how to keep my new water heater in good shape and it was as painless as replacing a water heater could be.

They're located in Irvine, and Jay drove all the way up to Orange on a Friday during rush hour to save my bacon. If you're anywhere in Orange County, whether it's Newport Beach or Anaheim, and you need your water heater replaced, I would not hesitate to call Swift.

Swift is the best word to describe this company! Our water heater went out Wednesday morning. I messaged them on Wednesday night and on Thursday morning they said they could be by at 8am Friday. I was thrilled with that! Cold showers for days was not my jam! The owner, Justin, got a hold of me around 1pm on Thursday and said their afternoon had freed up and they could come then! I was at work and my husband was at home so I did not interact with the employees. But my husband said they were efficient, friendly, and got the job done quickly and smoothly! Replaced a water heater with this company. Great service. They removed by old 40 gallon and replaced it with a 50 gallon tank with all the trimmings (hose,pipe, pan, etc) Will be using them again for other services they offer pretty soon.

Swift water heater did an amazing job coming last minute to replace my broken waterheater. I called them after 6pm on a monday night and Tuesday the next day they were at my house at 8am installing the new water heater. Swift was great to work with and we definitely recommend using them and their price was the best we could find. They were quick to respond to our initial request, made a site visit (safely) asap, got us a quote right away then completed the job done in a very timely manner. I called Jay this morning after dealing with 2 other companies... Both of which were awful. Jay promptly returned my call, was very knowledgable, and was able to explain the problems my water heater was having in a way that was clear and understandable. He came out within a couple of hours and was professional, friendly and did an excellent job on an installation. It's such a relief to find a company that you can trust to do a quality job without any pressure to do work that you don't need. I would highly recommend Swift to anyone that is having hot water heater problems.

Also, he noticed my kitchen faucet was loose while he was testing the water and fixed it for free- talk about amazing customer service!

We needed a new tankless water heater and wanted a water softener installed. We found Swift on Yelp and were impressed with their all 5 star reviews, and we like to support small businesses. Jay was quick to respond via Yelp, came out to give us a free quote (which many would not do), was easy to get in touch with, and thoroughly answered our questions. Jay's team even let us know about the socalgas increases on rebates, which will save us a big chunk of money once we get the rebate. We hired Swift for the job, their crew arrived on time, were polite, and worked diligently. They even have a drywall guy who patches up work, which almost no plumber has, and he did a great job! Our water heater igniter button was not working. Susan at Swift was very accommodating with my schedule and had Connor come out and take a look. I called several companies for estimates and they all asked me for the make and model of my water heater. Susan was the only person to tell me my heater was still under warranty and that if the igniter did need to be replaced, the parts would be covered under the warranty and we would only have to pay for labor. She asked that I take a photo of the water heater and send it to her so they could be prepared with the correct part, in case the part needed replacing. Connor called me 30 mins before our scheduled appt. window, 3:30-4 pm, to let me know his job before mine was taking longer than expected and that he would be a little late. He ended up still arriving on time within the 30 min. appt. window. I really appreciated his courtesy. I have had several previous experiences of tradesmen showing up hours later than scheduled or not at all and not bother calling me to let me know. After taking a look, Connor explained what was wrong and he had the correct part needed to fix the water heater. Much to my embarrassment, my elderly mother asked him to clean up the dust and dirt behind the water heater and he very politely obliged. He went above and beyond of what was expected and I do truly appreciate that. Everyone I spoke with at Swift was professional and kind. My experience with them from the first phone call to the last follow up text was great. I wish every home repair service experience could go as smoothly and efficiently as this one.

Loved that they were able to give us the same day appointment to install our new water heater. The technician Austin arrived on time with a mask on explained to me everything he was was going to install would be as per the CA law . I came home from my vacation to find that my garage was wet because my water heater was leaking. I called Swift Water Heater and spoke with Susan who was extremely helpful. She went over all my options, and explained the process start to finish. I ultimately went with a tankless water heater because I don't ever want the hassle of a leaking water heater again, plus Susan let me know that the gas co. is currently offering a $600 rebate. I couldn't be happier with my new tankless water heater, and will be using Swift again to install a Water Softener in the near future.

The initial responses for the quote were very timely. However, things went downhill from there. They have quoted the best price for the job and I would like to engage them for the work. I asked them to confirm the price, the lady on the phone said she will get back to me after she confirm it with her boss. She never called back. Subsequence call to the company number only go to voicemail that is full. Message via Yelp also went unanswered. After 4 days of waiting, I hired someone else.

They SAVED us! Jay and his crew are experts in their field, professional, and patient. We had a leak in our kitchen and had no clue where it was coming from, we were so stressed and worried that there was no solution or we'd have to incur major repair costs. They identified the issue right away and tried several different avenues to fix the problem!! We were surprised by a water heater leak on a Sunday afternoon. I quickly Yelped and got a few numbers for water heater companies. Jay from Swift was the only one to take the time to ask me questions and assess the problem. He told me how to stop the leakage by walking me through the steps to turn off the water and gas supply to my water heater. This helped stop the leakage and possible water damage in my garage. Like most of us, we have a ton of stuff in garage that needs to stay dry.

I asked for a quote and my options and Jay was very quick to give me hard quotes over the phone. With this information I called around and he was still the best price. I also YouTubed to see if I can D.I.Y. it. I would be saving a lot of money, but I didn't want to take the chance on such a important part of the house to save a few hundred.

I called Jay back on that Sunday night around 9pm and he quickly scheduled me in the 1st thing Monday morning. He usually covers the Laguna Nigel to Irvine area, but he made it a point to come out to me in Fullerton.

Jay came Monday morning as scheduled, went over the problem, I confirmed my understanding of the service and pricing and he started. He was very efficient and was done in about 2 hours. We had a brand new 50gal Rheem water heater with all new components (water pan, valves, hoses, pressure thing). There was to upcharge and price as quoted over the phone the night before.

In short, Swift is fast, efficient, reliable and straight. Customer service is very important, but quality of work and attention to details still wins. Since Jay is the owner and the servicer, he will make sure you get the best quality of service.

My New Years started with a leaking water heater. After visiting Lowes & HomeDepo I gathered enough info to conclude this would not be a do-it-yourself project. I called upon referral and contacted a few well know companies. Discourage by the bait and switch or price gouging tactics, I finally decided to check Yelp for reviews. This felt foreign to me since I've only used Yelp for food reviews. This was my first home improvement review.

I went with Swift because he was several $100's less then others. He showed up on time and went right into work mode. There was no up sale or complaints. In fact he took extra care working around the tight space and a fire sprinkler head right above.

I recommend you call around but alway consider Swift in the quote.

Let me set the scene- it's a cold, dark, and stormy night (ok, it's Dana Point, so it wasn't that cold or stormy, but it was night).  I've just arrived home after a long day at work and nothing sounds better than uncorking a nice white wine, grabbing my favorite novel, and taking a long hot bath.  Wine- check, book- check, hot bath- OH NO. As I began to prepare my bath, I noticed the water wasn't heating up. I turned the H knob 10 degrees more than I would usually set it, still nothing, then another 10 degrees, nothing, in fact the water was getting colder! I began to panic. I ran to the shower in my guest bathroom and cranked up the hot water, and much to my dismay, cold water came spraying out, making me even more unsettled and annoyed.

My relaxing bath and calm evening was ruined. I sulked to my laptop and pulled up altavista (still my favorite search engine) and found the first plumber that came up in the search. ring ring ring... no answer.  I scroll down to the next plubmer, ring ring ring... no answer.  Now I am cold, annoyed, and starting to panic even more.  As I sit in front of my laptop with my head in my hands, trying not to cry, I notice an advertisement for a website called Yelp.  At first I thought maybe this was a dog crying website (since my dog will yelp when I accidentally step on his tail) and so I clicked on it hoping to find some entertaining dog gifs.  As you already know, Yelp is not that kind of website, but is in fact very helpful in finding help in situations just like mine- so again I set off to find a plumber to save me.  I

look at some of the top plumbers and start dialing again.  I finally get a hold of a Plumber (who I will not mention their name here), and he kindly tells me that he could come take a look at my problem in three days.  Three days! That is unacceptable, I want my book and wine and bath! I need someone who can come swiftly and assist me! I continue to browse Yelp (still not a dog website) and, oh, what is this... a Swift Water Heater company? I'm no expert, but perhaps the problem in my plumbing was in fact my water heater.  I know the previous owner of my house had the water heater installed in 2000, so I thought it should be fine for many more years. So I decide to call Swift Water heater.  After just one ring a nice young man named J answered the phone, I explained my problem and he said that he could be at my house in 30 mintues! Wow! I might actually get this bath after all!  I hung up the phone, put my clothes back on, and just as promised, J was there in 28 minutes.  I explained to him that my water heater should be fine since it is only 14 years old, but he kindly explained that water heaters should be replaced every 10 years.  My mind was blown! I should have done this 4 years ago? J inspected my water heater, and found the problem.  The previous plumber had not installed the water heater to code, which caused certain issues and also had not be set on the proper setting.

J kindly brought my water heater up to code, fixed the issue, and got my hot water back that night! I was so blown away with his service I called him up the next day and requested him to come back and install a new top of the line tankless water heater, which he did for a great price, and in a professional manner.  All this to say, Swift Water heater is a life saver.  Strongly recommend.  Now, let's go take a hot bath!

Chris was so wonderful making sure all the units were hooked up quickly and correctly and even left his information behind so that we could contact him if the construction workers messed with the water supply or shut the tankless tanks off.

We needed to change our water heater and I received around 5 quotes. Swift was not the cheapest nor the highest, but Jay was the nicest! He was very knowledgeable and gave me all the details on tank Vs tankless and also suggested a water softener/conditioner. I had a lot of questions which he answered promptly and patiently.
Connor arrived promptly on the day and in a few hours, I had a new storage tank heater (with a recirculating pump) and a water softener/conditioner. They followed Covid rules and had masks on and Jay even helped out a couple of my neighbors with their heater issues! Work was neat and everything was cleaned up. We had another bazillion questions for poor Connor. Jay also called me back a few days later to follow up. The soft water takes a little getting used to and the recirculating pump give us almost instant hot water!
The only negative I have is that I wasn't told I'd have to get an electrician to come out (at my cost) and install an outdoor outlet for the softener. Not a deal breaker or reason to remove a star (!!), but I wish I had been informed.

If you're like me, you tend to question businesses that have great reviews. Well, rest easy people - Swift Water Heater is superb. Let me tell you why.

When I found out I needed to replace my water heater, I was clueless and feared I would be ripped off. After I completed my research, I reached out to many different plumbing businesses for quotes. Swift Water Heater was the first to respond to my inquiry and Jay who is the owner was extremely informative. Better yet, they came to my house the following day.

Not only their service was great - but their work is phenomenal. Their technician: Alex was extremely professional and his work quality is superb.

The workmanship is unquestionable - but what struck me the most about the Swift Water Heater is that these guys are honest and hard-working. Although the mentioned attributes are obvious, sadly it is not applicable to many businesses present-day.

So, if you're researching for a plumber, give Jay and his team a shot. You won't regret it!

My tankless water heater was due for a flush and descale so I called Swift and was impressed with their work.

They were communicative up to the appointment and professional during. Jose took care of the flush/descale, contacted Rheem when he saw some abnormalities, and was very transparent throughout the process.

Swift guys are real Pros and their service is excellent. I found the end-to-end experience polished & prices to be very competitive. Very good coordination and communications. I received a quote via email, was contacted immediately and kept updated from quote to install. We are very happy with our water heater replacement and the service provided. Our technician JR was skilled, courteous, and & prompt. He arrived ahead of time and quickly replaced our old leaking WH. I shopped around a bit and don't think you can beat these guys on price for the quality of product and service. I was even given a discount for being a veteran.

This company and Jay (or actually I think its J for Justin) is amazing. I had an old tankless. We tried putting a band aid on it with a different plumber. They were not all that knowledgable and didn't work.

I called Jay based on Yelp reviews. So many great reviews. I was not disappointed. He was very friendly and knew what he was talking about answering all my questions. The very next day we decided to move on a new unit.

Jay and his helper showed up on time (actually early how often does that happen) and they were great. The install went well and a day later we couldn't be happier.

I highly recommend Swift for your plumbing needs.

Swift Water Heater saved us. They were hired after our home warranty dispatched a terrible plumber that turned a simple issue with our water heater into a bigger problem. The lady who took my call asked the right questions, put me at ease, and called me right back with more information as promised. Our appointment was scheduled for the same day. 5 stars all the way. I had an after hours issue with my water heater pilot light not working. After striking out trying to get a plumber to come out, I found Swift, talked with Susan and she walked me troubleshoot the issue over the phone, even looked up the model number and such. End of story we got the water pilot back on, and got hot water back. It was a simple thing but helping me out in the moment was priceless. When I do need to do an actual replacement of the water heater, Swift will be the number one person I call.

If your water heater stop working and you need hot water for your family now, then call these guys. They walk you through solving problems, and to get it fix fast. I just got my water heater today. The installation looks good, but that is not the reason for the 5 stars. I spoke to Susan yesterday, and she gave me an attractive quote but the final quote would be given when the tech came out. The home is less than 15 yrs old, but that has not stopped others from padding the quote with less than convincing reasons........ I wanted a reasonable quote with no tricks and no gimmicks...... and I received that, along with top tier service from Susan, Connor, and Alex.

This is my second review of fabulous work done by Swift Water Heater. A month ago, we had this wonderful company install a new tankless water heater, a new water softener, and a new garbage disposal. All three projects were completed flawlessly. Then a month later, as luck would have it, an inexpensive plastic part on the water softener malfunctioned, and water began to drip out. We had been told that Swift stands behind its work, and they proved that they do. Luckily, Conner from Swift was near our house when I called to report the dripping water. Within 15 minutes Conner was cheerfully at our door and quickly fixed the problem. Swift has the best employees and the best customer service! I wish that all companies were as trustworthy as Swift Water Heater.

I called Jay because my daughter's water heater had gone out in her apartment. I texted him a couple of photos to help troubleshoot the problem. He determined the issue over the phone and was going to order the replacement part when I daughter called me and said her landlord wanted to use his own plumber. Got a call from my 88-year-old mother-in-law - nothing coming out of her hot water faucets. Our regular plumber has shut down temporarily due to quarantine, so I searched Yelp. Swift Water Heater sent a technician out within the hour, in the pouring rain. They found 4,500 gallons of water in her mini-basement below the house, pumped it out, installed a stand for new water heater, removed two old water heaters - all in one day. They came back the next day to check that all was well - no leaks. Communication was great - technician texted updates to my husband, who was working from home and couldn't be there. Great service, quick and reasonable.

Let me start by saying my review is a bit different from most here because I didn't use Jay's services. Instead, he hired me I still feel it's important to share that he handles his business with a high level of professionalism. I run a unique business designing logos for a very wide array of businesses and people all over the US. I deal closely with as many as 20 different customers a week in every range of personality imaginable. I have been doing this for over 10 years and can say with certainty that I can read people very well by this point. Jay (owner of Swift) was outstanding! We own a rental property in Lake Forest. The hot water heater went out the day our new tenants moved in (and the wife was 9 months pregnant!). One of the fastest to reply with a fair price. Our Water heater gas control valve/thermostat (Westinghouse) on a AOSmith went kaputz so it needed replacing. Most of these die within the warranty period ( 6 years ), the replacement part is free, but not the labor to replace it. They were the cheapest for one of the top 10 plumbing services with 5 star reviews. No switch and bait, no additional services, were here at the house within hour and a half. Time is money so what does that mean to you?
I would highly recommend JAY and his gang for the speed and efficiency of their work.

Out garage disposal went out. Austin came out in a busy Saturday and was wonderful. Awesome and super quick service. We have a GE gagain!as water heater which apparently are notorious for two issues. We called 6 companies and this one and another were the only ones that would work on it because parts are purchased directly from the manufacturer and can't be obtained at your local hardware store. They were able to schedule us the following morning and Jay came out took about 10-15 min and even showed us the part prior to repairing. Awesome service would definitely recommend and use

Honest, punctual and straight forward.

Water heater was not working. Called Swift at 9:30am. He gave me a quote on the phone and said he will arrive at my location in Westminster at 5:00pm.

He let me know he was on his way prior to arriving and arrived a couple minutes before 5:00pm. Got straight to work and had the problem fixed in 25 minutes. And the final price was as quoted.

He knows his job and gave a number of other recommendations for the future. I will be calling him in the future.

Just had my Water Heater replaced by Swift . What a pleasant experience from start to finish. Last night I noticed water on the ground by my water heater , looking at the dates on the labels I knew it was time to replace , repairing is a waste of time , called the typical Home Depot , Lowes and the number on the water heater from previous Install company , what a run around , could not get pricing , seemed too vague , so I turned to Yelp to do my homework. Looked and called a few , once I got to Jay ( owner / operator ) at Swift water heater , game was over , Jay gave me all the info it I needed over the phone and with a little discount we were on our way , this was last night around 8pm and Jay arrived with his crew at 8am today as promised with completion in less than 2 hours as promised. This is my third time using SWH. OMG I cannot thank Jay enough. I was super stressed out on a Saturday when I found my water heater leaking. I called SWH and Susan answered the phone. On a Sunday! I texted Susan pics and then later I talked to Jay; again, this was on a Sunday. I do not have a standard water heater, which I didn't know since I am girl. Jay explained to me that these types of water heaters are a little bit more complicated than a standard water heater. (Hydraulic water heater). I called a few other places to obtain quotes and I was not feeling confident they can handle this type of job. I have been calling around to get my water heater fix because I had no hot water.

The 1st estimate was to replace my tankless water heater for over $3000, a second estimate concluded that my heater was fine, it just needed new pipes for $1000, then I called Swift water heater and they fixed the problem for $195 as part of the service charge. They came back 2 more times at no charge to replace the parts.

I waited to write this review because I wanted to make sure my water heater got fix and they did!

Our 20 year old water heater went up on us just as we were getting ready for work etc. Through YELP I found Swift. Jeff, a technician, came out in less than an hour of contacting them with a new 50 gallon Bradford water heater. The install was completed in less than 2 hours and the old water heater was hauled away. I liked the fact that Swift did not charge a 'service fee'. This company was so great! I hired them originally to replace my water heater. After it was installed due to having copper pipes and extremely hard water, my pipe got a pinhole leak. They answered my call late at night and came out right away to fix it. Yesterday, in the late afternoon, I noticed a leak in my water heater. After making a few calls with no luck, I found Jay and Swift Water Heater on Yelp. I explained the situation, and he arrived the next morning with a new water heater! I had thought that the previous one was installed in 2007, but just looking at it, Jay knew that it was made in approximately 1998. He even called the company with the serial number, and they confirmed that indeed, it had been manufactured in 1998. While he was installing the new heater, I found the old invoice from the previous heater, which was installed by a handyman. Jay pointed out mistakes that were made with the old installation, and corrected them with the new installation.

I called Swift to evaluate tankless options. Jay was very helpful during the initial estimate visit. He took time to explain the different options, pros/cons of embedded circulation pump, right sizing based on household usage, etc. He also provided a competitive price. I decided to go with him because he was the most credible of the ones that I interviewed. And he did not disappoint.

When it came to installation, Chris Kuskie was on time and very efficient. He was prompt in removing my old tanked heaters and installing the new Navien tankless that I ordered. More importantly, the installation looked clean and professional. Jay also stopped by to check on the job during installation.

Jay was also attentive with my questions after installation. A few months later, it was made aware that a minor adjustment was needed. Swift was very responsive in scheduling the appointment and Chris came out to make the adjustments for free.

You know the drill; water heater goes out at worst time, mid Friday. In this case, the pilot light's sensor failed; I know how to light pilots so diagnosed problem. We did a Yelp Search, found Swift and phoned them to ask about replacement sensors--without being able to see our old heater's brand or model, hidden under its thermal blanket and earthquake bracing.
Other companies did not get back to us, but Swift's rep advised us our old water heater's age made it an imminent tank leak candidate (I double-checked on the internet--true), so we agreed to have Swift replace it with a mid-range Bradford-White 40-gal heater the next morning.
Swift's service tech arrived Sat. morning as scheduled. He drained our old heater--a Rheem, turns out--on our lawn as requested, and installed the Bradford-White (mfg'd. only the month before, I later learned), new earthquake straps and a drain pan, made sure I understood the new piezoelectric pilot ignition, and departed with all the old heater's parts in two hours flat. All for the exact price quoted over the phone. No attempts to upsell, no added charges, no pressure.

Our water heater broke (pilot wouldn't stay on) on Friday, and I contacted 3 companies to see who could help. A large company, after a few calls, sent a very nice tech to take a quick look, and gave me an estimate for a new gas water tank. My home warranty also initiated an appointment to get an in-network vendor to come take a look, and I didn't get a call until today (Monday). A realtor friend suggested Swift Water Heater on Friday, and after I sent a couple pictures and provided some details on the situation, they said they could do the job on Monday, and gave me the estimate right on the spot, and guess what, it's $1,500 less than what the large company quoted!!!

Today Josh came by, and it was such a pleasant experience. He was detailed and very patient in explaining what he was doing, and he spent time talking to my home warranty explaining the situation also. Josh did an excellent job, with probably the best attitude I've seen in a while, and I seriously couldn't have asked for more in a tech to help us fix the water heater.

It's unfortunate our water heater broke, but we got ourselves a brand new water heater (and hot water!!!), and a company we will always recommend to our friends in the future.

My water heater pilot light wouldn't stay lit. I knew what the issue probably was but not confident to fix it myself. I talked to Susan on the phone and she was amazing- got us scheduled same day (within a few hours!) Jay called me to let me know he was going to be about 15 mins late. I'm used to people showing up whenever- getting a call was so nice! Jay was amazing. Professional, polite, quick to do the work, not condescending at all (I have been on the receiving end of that from other places before). I cannot recommend their work highly enough! He replaced the part and had me up and running in about 30 mins.

Late last year, our water heater started dying and we were fed up with the super hard chlorine tasting water, so I thoroughly researched many options and companies before selecting Swift Water Heater. After 7 months of use and review, I can honestly say Jay and the Swift Water Heater did a superb job installing a Navien tankless water heater and a Pentair water conditioner/filter system in early Dec 2020. Jay was very responsive, knowledgeable, honest, and helpful during my information gathering and comparison period. His price was competitive and worth the quality of service and equipment, trustworthiness, and responsiveness to follow appointments. No sales pressure, just the facts. Conner and Austin, the installers, were prompt, courteous, professional, efficient, and skilled, and didn't mind answering my many questions. Conner explained how to operate the systems and was very thorough in trouble shooting some temperature adjustments several months later. Jerry did a great job repairing the drywall. So now we have had trouble free and endless hot water, lower gas use, and clean tasting water that doesn't leave mineral deposits. There is a reason why Jay has ALL 5 star reviews. The reason why people call plumbers is mostly because there is an urgent problem. Our quite old water heater finally started leaking Sunday of MLK day weekend. Not only did they answer the phone on a Sunday, but they had someone out on MLK day less than 24 hours later to install a new one at a very reasonable price. The install by Alex was about 2 hours and included all new hookups, and haul away of the old one. He was great.
Overall They were prompt, courteous, and professional, and I'd definitely recommend them. I'll be using them for all my plumbing needs going forward.

It was great working with Jay and his guys (Chris K. & Alex R.). Jay does give the absolute best quality, service and pricing. After obtaining multiple quotes, his pricing was by far the best! Jay explained the process and is available to promptly answer any questions or concerns, before and after the install.
Chris K. and his team were very professional and efficient, finishing the job about 2 hours ahead of schedule.
After the install, we noticed some moisture in the ground so I called Jay asking if they could come by and take a look and Chris K. came out and diagnosed a very small leak due to old PVC pipe between the main water line shut-off and the street meter, which sits under a 40 year-old Spanish tile patio floor and brick entry walkway. A family friend, who is also a plumber, offered to do the work at a discounted rate, but his only option was to break the garage/driveway concrete to run the new line inside the garage. Wanting to preserve my father's hard work, Jay offered the option of replacing the main water line by boring under the sidewalk and patio, which was well worth the extra money...(even our plumber friend agreed that it was a good price). Chris K. came out to do the work and as before, he delivered efficient, professional quality work.

Very satisfied so far. I called Swift on a weeknight after my 16 year old water here in Yorba Linda heater broke and they sent out a technician with a new water heater about noon the next day. The technician installed the new unit within roughly an hour . I really liked that he put in new valves as well as hoses. That was above and beyond what I expected. He installed a Rheem professional water heater. I don't have any experience with this model. So, I can't comment on its expected life. I found that their price was also very competitive compared to a previous install I had done a few years ago in my past house. I highly recommend Swift for water heater installations.

For anyone that's experienced a busted water heater, you quickly begin to realize what a luxury they are in the first place. I understand that this is a 20-21st century problem and that past civilizations managed to survive without them but when your wife MUST take a 30 minute, scalding hot shower and yours is on the fritz, you need to address that issue promptly.
And it all turned sour on us in a hurry. We began to notice the smell of sulfer (rotten eggs) coming from the pipes and within a day or so, the water heater was out for good.
With time of the utmost importance, I knew I needed someone who could get to me quick (I live in Laguna Niguel), used quality products and was reasonably priced. Swift Water Heater is what I landed on. Jay (the business owner I believe) came through when he said he would (which worked out perfectly), told me exactly what the problem was, removed the old one, installed the new one and got me on my way in no time.
I don't usually take to leaving reviews but sometimes you've got to give credit where credit is due. Jay was very friendly, he worked very efficiently and handled his business. If you're in South County and you're in the market for a new water heater, I would recommend Swift Water Heater. Problem solved.

My hot water heater had leaked and had created water damage and mold with the drywall and the platform for the water heater. I called Jay and he was out the same day with a replacement but it could not be permanently installed until the drywall was repaired and the mold treated. His people accomplished all of that and then came back to permanently install the water heater. His main goal was to ensure we had hot water. He and his people were very courteous, prompt and left the areas clean. I highly recommend Jay and his company for any plumbing needs.

Swift folks were extremely helpful when I was in a jam with a leaking 4 year old water heater (purchased by former home owner). They pointed it out that it was likely still under warranty since most manufacturer's minimum is 6 years and manufacturer's track by serial number. A little digging discovered that it was actually a refurb unit, so no go on the warranty, but it was honorable of Swift to point out the possibility.

Swift's pricing was fair, their default pricing includes everything to be sure this is done right (hoses, ball valve, pan, straps, install/removal of old unit and even the sales tax). They were extremely helpful and responsive.

At the end of the day, I chose to do the install myself and save some money (I may come to regret that choice if something goes wrong), but I was so impressed with Swift that I wanted to write them a review and encourage others to use their services.

I noticed some water coming down into my garage floor. This was coming down from the garage ceiling and hitting the main vent of my water heater. At first, I thought it was a water heater issue. I searched on yelp and found Swift Water Heater. After looking at all the high Yelp ratings, I called them up and Jay answered. After asking me how old the water heater, he asked me where I live. I told him I live in the Mission Viejo/Laguna Hills area. He said he would be there in 30 minutes! I was pleasantly shocked by that and I waited for him.

He arrived within 30 minutes and looked at it and told me that he would need to cut some of the dry wall to take a look. I knew dry wall was okay to be replaced and so I agreed. He cut it open and showed me that the leak was a very small leak coming from one of the copper pipes. We eventually found out that it was the guest shower pipe.

Jay tried his hardest to find the source of the leak, but it was not possible for him unless he was going to gut my entire bathroom. He told me to call a leak detection company to find the leak.

The amazing part was that Jay worked on my house for over an hour and DID NOT CHARGE ME ANYTHING. He even told me that my water heater had a leak but told me to call him whenever I felt comfortable to replace his water heater and he would give me a great deal on that. He even offered to patch up my dry wall after a month!!

Jay is a very honest worker and I would trust him for my general plumbing needs and definitely for water heater issues.

The water heater in my new rental went down at 8pm Friday night... don't they always? I used this company 3 years ago to install a tankless water heater. Their work was swift and solid. Unlike typical plumbers that install but don't replace drywall cutouts and painting to match existing surfaces, these guys included everything from A to Z. Three years later, I recently had a plumbing issue and I will say that Jay and Susan listened and took care of me as a valued customer. They are great in responding to phone calls, keeping me updated, and scheduling. Quality work with integrity. I appreciate the work they do and the business they run. I spoken poor English, but Jay listen my explanation very patiently. and set up the time right away to my house at the same day. However, the situation is way too bad until the team checked. My hot water heater stopped working. Another general plumbing firm came out and said I had a bad part and it would cost a lot to get it fixed. They recommended that I get a new water heater. The bid they gave was very high and incomplete. I figured that I could do better. I called a bunch of firms since my pipes are epoxy coated and only a few firms had the skill set to deal with them since no soldering is allowed. The lady answering the phone at Swift was very knowledgeable and quickly got me a complete, reasonable bid over the phone and suggested that I consider tankless since I had a large hot water heater, 75 gallons, and with a $1,000 gas company rebate it might actually cost less to go tankless. I got bids both ways. After much research I did go that way primarily because the cost was actually less to go tankless and I would no longer have the danger of having 75 gallons of water spilling into my house and garage as had happened before. We scheduled an install quickly and the owner and 2 crew members came out. They were on time, worked fast and did a very professional looking installation. I was a little worried about how the tankless would work but it has been wonderful with lots of hot water on tap quickly. The only drawback is that the unit is in the garage and backs up to the wall of my dining room and it makes a bunch of noise at various times of the day which can be clearly heard in the dining room. I never heard this before with my 75 gallon tank. I can't hear it out of the dining room and it doesn't go all the time and it isn't horrible but it is less than ideal so consider the noise when you decide where to locate it.

Jay responded promptly to my request. Our water heater stopped working. Jay was very professional in his communication and gave me a rough estimate of how much the charges might be depending on what's wrong with the water heater.
What I liked is that They don't charge to come out and diagnose. Once they diagnose the problem, if we decide to have them do the work, they will perform the service and then we pay them for services done.
We set an appointment for 2pm the following day. 1:55pm, Keoni (Jay's team member) knocks on our door! They were not only on time... they were early! That alone was amazing, i was already super pleased by their punctuality!
They diagnosed the problem and walked us through it. Keoni was very professional and knowlegeable!
The best part is... their pricing is reasonable! It was actually the best pricing I've heard from the many places I have called the past few days.. .and the most professional from the moment of communication until the end!

I was in the middle of moving from CA to WA, and after a long day of packing and cleaning up the house I wanted to take a shower. I quickly found out there wasn't any warm water coming out of the plumbing. After fiddling with the water heater for an hour with no indication as to what was wrong with it, I gave up and started browsing for local water heater repair places. I saw Swift Water Heater, called them and they were even able to schedule a visit the next day. Fast forwarding to the next day, I noticed they were very prompt with the scheduled time that they said they would be at my house.

To save you the long story, they basically helped me figure out why the water heater broke, and showed me what needed to be fixed. They gave me a reasonable quote for the repair work and they got all of the parts themselves. The worker fixed the heater within an hour and now I have hot water in the house ready to be used. As I said i am moving and Swift Water Heater really helped save me a lot of time and hassle. If you're looking for water heater repair work in the Irvine area, I highly recommend them.

OMG OMG what can I say? These guys were literally a lifesaver. Our water heater went out on election night and I figured I'd NEVER get anyone to even respond to my email or text on such a crazy night. Not true ... a mere hour later Justin responded letting me know that his team could be there first thing in the a.m. Literally, 9am the next day (it helps that we're in Irvine as are they). He politely asked me to text him photos of the damaged heater (which I did) and he was able to give me an estimate over text ON ELECTION NIGHT!!!!!!! I can honestly say I've never received such impeccable customer service. I called Jay this afternoon and needed him to come out and flush my tankless water heater. He quoted me a lower price than a few other companies that I looked up on Yelp. These guys are terrific - Jay came over very quickly after I called them with an emergency water heater leak right before Thanksgiving. He gave us options, pricing and a timeframe to make a quick, informed decision. Jay is amazing. He is very good in returning your calls and texts. I told him about the problem and gave him the heater model number. He said that the pieces that needed to be replaced are under warranty. He called for me to the company and ordered the pieces. Once the pieces arrived, he immediately sent someone to replace them. Let me start by saying, never take hot water for granted! This morning showered in cold A$$ water not cool. Called Jay I believe came to my house in 30 mins from irvine. My gas water heater pilot light was not staying lit. I called couple of companies to get quote, Jay from swift water heater gave fair price over the phone. When I sent photos of the heater, he suggested that its very old and will need to be replaced in a year or two so instead of spending money on it, try to do it myself. He said that most likely thermo couple needs to be replaced. I did it myself and called him during the project for tips. He was very helpful during the whole process. Very honest and nice guy. Even though I didn't need him to come and fix my issue, his willingness to help and save me money was great. I would highly recommend calling him for any of your needs.

Wow! My water heater kicked the bucket yesterday. I called a friend who'd had issues with his, and he recommended Swift. I got all of my questions ready and called them. Their customer service folks were ON THE BALL! I asked about replacing my water heater with a new one v/s going with a Tankless model (cost, benefits, etc). They answered every question clearly and without a beat. I asked if they could put me on their schedule and they said they could have someone over to check things out within the hour... and literally 15 minutes later, Josh shows up. AMAZING!

Josh was super friendly and knowledgeable and I decided on going tankless.

They scheduled me for THE NEXT MORNING (today)!

Josh showed up on time to the minute and got to work. About 4 hours later, the work was done and Josh walked me through how the unit works, showed me his work, he had me test everything with him there in case I had any questions. The work looks fantastic and everything works great.

In business, the key differentiator is usually customer service... how they treat you, the quality of work, etc. In the case of Swift, things could not have been better.

A few weeks back our water heater failed. Susan took my initial call and subsequent calls and was always gave me clear information which is helpful when you don't deal in plumbing very often. Jay was out promptly and gave me alternatives including pros and cons of a tank and tankless heaters. We chose tankless as we had a good experience with it in the past in a smaller home though I was concerned about its capacity. Jay assured me it could handle multiple demands and it has proven to be all we need. We can run the washing machine, dishwasher and shower with plenty of hot water. The install team (Joe and Jose) and also included Jay did very meticulous work that involved venting along a 18 foot run making the job more complex but they did it! I highly recommend them for the quality of their work, thoroughness, and responsiveness when I had questions and concerns.

I was very impressed with all aspects of Swift Water Heater installing the water softener and filter systems in my house.
Their system kept me up to date with what techs were coming, when they'd arrive and the pricing was half of what we were already quoted at (but there was no way in hell that I was going to spend those amounts anyway).
They definitely pushed to up-sell some items, like to replace my 3 year old water heater (that didn't need replacing), upgrading to a water pressure hammer on the water heater, a water system monitoring kit for the house and a water regulator for the incoming water pressure into the house.
I decided to opt in for the water regulator and soft water, water spigot for washing my cars, but passed on all of the others. TBH, I was a bit annoyed that they were telling my fiance that our rusty water heater looked old and asked when it was last replaced. It was clearly not that old at all and the fact that they were mentioning anything about replacing it really made me start to question their business practices. Overall though, I was extremely pleased with the service product and to have the system installed.

Having your water heater replaced is never a planned event. Usually your water heater stops working at an inopportune time when you have clothes to wash, dishes to clean, and most importantly in need of a hot shower. When I called Swift Water Heater to discuss the various options and having someone answer all my questions was definitely something I needed. In addition, they were able to schedule my new water install within a few hours, which was great. The installer Connor advised via text message he was enroute, arrived on time, worked efficiently, and completed the job with the stated timeframe. He also took the time to explain the process and even cleaned the area when he was completed. Connor is definitely as asset to the company! Hot water heater suddenly broke and water leaking in closet. Called swift on a Sunday night and they were able to come the next day to replace the water heater.

Totally professional, prompt, friendly and courteous service. I've worked with plenty of plumbers, electricians, contractors and other workers in the past year since we bought our older home. These guys were the most hassle free and professional and took care of everything--hauled out old heater, made cleaner connections, reattached recirc pump. Their price was also the most competitive! If you need a new water heater just have these guys take care of it--done.

We were out of hot water, when we contacted another company, and the guy came and replaced the thermocouple and turned it on, but then he said our water heater that has 22 years is old and he gave us some quotes for the tankless and tank water heater, but then I contacted swift water heater and their quote was around 1k lower, also they did the estimation over the phone with pictures I sent them which was nice, because some companies gave a quote over the phone without seeing my situation and some needed like 60$ to come and see and give an estimate.
The other thing I liked about them is that they came the same day which was great. The plumber who came was named Jeff, and he installed the Bradford White for us, and it took around 3 hours. He was nice and professional and friendly.
I highly recommend this company if you live near Irvine area.

J's legit! I decided to give J a call after reading all the positive reviews and I wasn't disappointed. He asked me to text him some photos of our water heater and then gave me a quote on the spot. He undercut everyone and was able to come out within 48 hours (this was a preventative water heater replacement and not an emergency). J's price is all inclusive all of labor and materials, he's serious about not nickel and diming you like other companies do. J was professional, friendly and worked quickly, and he and his assistant had the job done in less than two hours. I had quotes from several plumbers to either see if I could actually install a tankless system in my condo or just go with a regular water heater replacement for my 16+ year old water heater. Jay came by for the estimate and provided information on the pricing for the tankless system, but also was honest about what needed to be done to install a tankless. In the end he didn't push for it and even said the price for a tankless wasn't worth it for my particular situation. I ended up going with a regular water heater. Also the total price for the everything was very reasonable!

I recently had a water heater replaced on a second floor rental unit in Irvine. Jay discussed with me the different option's and quoted a complete all inclusive price. I had him contact my tenant directly and he made all the arrangements for access. He arrived as scheduled, and installed the system as per plan. He discovered my 20 year old pressure regulator was not working and he described the situation in a manner as to believe it was not an up sell or fear doubt and uncertainty sell!, so I replaced it at a reasonable price. I am completely satisfied with Jay and his work and would recommend him. All this was done with me never meeting him in person. I am a Real Estate Developer by profession and have been involved in building many large master plans and tracts of homes, all-be-it, not from the trades end, but I know enough about the construction to know Jay knows his stuff, is trust worth in that he did what he said he would for the price he said and I believe will stand behind his work.

There have been no problems in the week that followed and that is when most leaks and issue come to light. So far so good!

I wanted to replace my 14 yr old water heater and originally contacted Sears to do the job, but the day before the scheduled install their installer called to ask about the old water heater. After telling him it was in the middle of the house in a closet and had an older style relief valve, the Sears guy told me it sounded like too much of a hassle and canceled the project. WTF?
I called Swift and Jay asked me to send a picture. He told me it would cost extra to replace that old valve, but he could get it and do it the next morning as I had originally planned.
Jay arrived on time and even called to let me know he was on the way. He did the job quickly and did not make it seem like there really was any extra hassle. He was great and did a nice job. I would totally recommend the guys if you need you water heater replaced.

SWIFT had installed our water heater in 2018. (I got a recommendation for SWIFT from our neighbor who also had a water heater installed by them and was very happy with the service.) They also installed a water softener and expansion tank for us a few weeks later. Everything went well and there were no problems for four years until last month. Our water softener stopped counting the gallons going through it. This affected the regeneration process. I called SWIFT and spoke to SUSAN who was very friendly and professional. She put a Tech/CONNOR on the call and I explained what the problem was. CONNOR felt it might be a clog or a part might need to be replaced. CONNOR said the office would call me in a few days and schedule an appt to come out. Three working days later, SUSAN called and said CONNOR could come out in a few hours. Sure enough, CONNOR showed up well within his one hour window. CONNOR was very fast, efficient and polite. He took apart the assembly and found the fan was not spinning. After repeatedly blowing into the part, the tiny fan began to spin freely and made a humming sound. CONNOR put the unit back together and tested it. It was working just like new again! I mentioned to CONNOR that I was not a fan of the heavy 40 pound bags of salt the system needs and he offered to pour in the two bags I had in the garage for me. That spared my bad back! I asked CONNOR something about the expansion tank and he adjusted the PSI for me. When I asked about the pressure regulator, CONNOR had some tips on that for me too. CONNOR took the time to explain what he was doing and how the system works. I am more than twice CONNOR's age, and he treated me with respect and patience, which I greatly appreciated. Kudos to him, SUSAN and SWIFT!

We had Swift install a tankless water heater. After calling approximately 12 plumbers and receiving quotes for the job including Jarvis Restoration to quote to restore the dry wall that was damaged), Swift was still the most price competitive. And, they were also able to do the restoration for us. It was taken care of in one stop!

They sent their technician out the next day early at 8 am. The technician, Connor, was professional and clean cut. He was well-spoken and patient. When he left, he cleaned up our garage.

Two days later, we were woken by a neighbor knocking on our door early Sunday morning. She told us that she could smell gas as she was walking by the home. We immediately called So Cal Gas. As well, we placed a call to Swift. Swift immediately called us back. AND...they sent their owner to our house.

Come to find out, the issue was not with the water install. Something was wrong through the So Cal Gas equipment.

This owner cares about each job. He clearly cares about his clients. They are devoted to a quality job. And Susan...the woman who answers the phone...she is worth her weight in gold!

From the first call onwards all was well, the kid, Jay, (turned out Jay is the boss, this kid is Juan)who came to install was good, but he used 3 parts from my old heater, for which they refunded me $50 back, after I pointed it out to them this morning.

During the install, another of their trucks had to come to deliver a part Jay had forgotten.

When the time came to turn off the water to switch the water heaters, Jay recommended we replace the water switch off valve and the water regulator, he quoted me $400 since it was too close to the wall and parts of it stuck with concrete (we settled for $300) but after completing the water heater install, he started making excuses and said he would be back in the morning to complete it... now he wants $550!!!

I heard back from the company this morning, saying Jay's just good at water heaters and not plumbing??? No wonder we had to remind him to install the pipe in the pan and cover the base of the thermostat!

I hope he has not damaged the current regulator, which he couldn't remove yesterday.

If you hire them, get the quote in writing and ensure all parts are replaced with new ones!

I hope the water heater is as good as they claim.

What I really appreciated about Swift was the fact that they gave me a very reasonable quote through Yelp with a photo I had sent of what I needed fixed. During COVID, and in general, I did not want random businesses coming in and out of my home just to give me a quote.
They were able to come out on the same day that I inquired about a service, and were on time. Bobby was the service technician that came out- and he was super nice and easy going. He worked efficiently and bonus- even helped me with a random issue I had with my front door out of the kindness of his heart! Called late last night for a water heater issue our tenant was having at our condo in Santa Ana. After calling a few places and only getting answering machines, I called Swift and a real person answered - first amazing point! He asked for a pic of the water heater and had a response to me with a price and a scheduled appointment time within the hour - second amazing point. Came out this morning, replaced the part in under 30 minutes for the agreed upon price - third amazing point. And for the cherry on top, the garbage disposal was acting up so he took a look at it and even fixed that! Above and beyond service. I will for sure use Swift again. Our 40 Gal water heater started leaking over the weekend and we needed to move forward our plans of eventually installing a tankless water heater.
I was able to get a quote by sending pics via text message on Sunday and have them scheduled to come at 9am Monday.
They took about 6 hours to remove and install the new water heater. Disposed of the old water heater, and hooked everything up beautifully. They were true to their estimate and even provided paperwork to get a refund from our gas company now that our water heater is more efficient. Great and polite crew as well. (see pic, keep in mind cabinets haven't been updated yet, but that is on our todo list now that the water heater has been done)

Talk about literally being swift. I called and it just so happened that Jay was in the area and he came just as he said. We had some tweaks to do to satisfy home inspection. Jay was fast and efficient, and met our every expectation. He fixed our temperature pressure release valve (actively leaking), and managed to deal with our overflow line.

We had just bought a new home which had a tankless hot water heater in it. On inspection of the house, it was recommended we flush it. I contacted Swift because the rating were solid and they specialize in tankless hot water heaters. Response time was excellent and rather than just coming out and charging us for a service call, Justin, asked how old it was and when I didn't know, he asked for the serial number to find out. Upon discovering it was 10 years old, he advised we don't flush it. That turns out was the right advice after I researched it some more. So no charge for that, but we needed the escape valve pipe repositioned also according to the inspection findings. They came out immediately, fixed it and now when that tankless system eventually fails, I'm calling Justin.
Another cool thing is we communicated the entire time by text. Efficient, quick and easy. Great experience and they are now our go-to for all things plumbing!

I highly recommend Swift water heater. I requested a quote based on all of the five star reviews. They did not disappoint. I had a response with in just a few minutes, and a quote probably an hour later. They installed a tankless water heater with a recirculating pump. Solved all of our slow, erratic, hot water problems. So EXPENSIVE! It will cost $195 for him to just come out. Insane!

I requested him to do an annual service on my tankless water heater, and apparently this will cost $195. According to online and Jay, it will not take more than an hour to do. I contacted other companies and they charge $95. I don't care how good you are or what type of excellent service you offer; charging $195 when others are charging $95 is insane.

Great Job as always!

Our 3 year old water heater began emitting a gas smell after heavy hot water use (i.e. after multiple long showers). I contacted Swift because they installed it. They were able to get us on the schedule on morning of the following business day.

Chris Kuskie arrived and quickly identified the issue. Another contractor had accidentally damaged the water heater's vent pipe while working on an unrelated project. Chris repaired the damage and verified that the issue was resolved.

I contacted Jay to do a major replacement of my tankless water heating system which heats the water and house that is over 7,500 sq. ft.
Given the size of the project it was most important to responsibly get it right. Jay did a first class job which took several weeks to complete. Plus I received a five warranty on parts and labor. He's not the cheapest but he's worth every penny I spent. If you want it done right the first time, call them.

I like that when you call, someone always answers. I have experiences of vendors just ignoring your calls after they collected the money. From start to finish it was very organized. Jay wanted me to send him pictures through text then he called me to quote me (which did not change after the service). There were no hidden fees and no surprises. I can't say enough good things about these guys. A different company did a really poor job installing a Navien tankless at my house and that company's rework attempts were pretty meager. I contacted Navien looking for leads on certified installers and was put in touch with Swift. 8am the next business day Jay the owner was in my garage listing what needed to be done. He even offered to be on a conference call with the company that did the original install. I opted to have Swift pull my Navien down, reinstall it, do a comfort valve (I had no idea my Navien had an internal recirc pump), and a water softener to boot. Despite an unforeseen thing or two everything came in at the estimated price. Thanks guys, you may be hearing from my neighbor to the right soon.

We called Swift Water Heater to replace our waterheater, they set the appointment for 8am the next day. Connor texted 15mins before arrival and let us know he was on the way, he arrived early, very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He explained what he was going to do and immediately got to it. I selected Swift Water Heater in part because of their great reviews on Yelp, so I thought I owed it to the Yelp community to chime in. I just finished having them install a new tankless water heater, and these folks were great. Susan responded almost immediately to my call. She offered to send out a technician for a quote, but she also said she could probably get me a quote if I sent her some photos which I did. Within the hour I had a response with a firm quote listing the brand and model of the heater they proposed to install.

I contacted a couple of other companies, but there estimates were either significantly higher, or they wanted to come out before giving an estimate, so I decided to go with Swift.

We scheduled a date within a week of my call (my need wasn't urgent). Susan told me how long it would take to install the water heater and what would be involved. Josh the installer showed up on time and even sent me a text to let me he was on his way.

The installation went flawlessly, and Josh was terrific. I had some special installation requirements in the space because I needed to fit in a gas dryer, and Josh made sure the heater allowed enough space. Josh finished almost exactly withing the time estimate that I was given and the heater works great.

Best of all, I was charged EXACTLY what I had been quoted. What a refreshing experience when dealing with plumbers! No extra charges for parts or for hauling away my old heater.

Our 75 gal water heater started leaking on a weekend... Naturally. It's the only time they leak. Didn't know where to turn and found Jay on Yelp. He had outstanding reviews, so we called him. He was very responsive and walked us through turning off the water. The handle at the top was stuck, after 15 years, and he came out a couple hours later to turn it off. Now at least we had cold running water inside.
He located and brought out a new heater and by Monday we were having the new one installed. The first one was defective and he had to go all the way back to Anaheim, to pick up another. So he kept his cool and dismantled the new water heater, again and within two hours was back with another. His attitude was amazing and his service was top notch. As we all have happen from time to time I woke up this morning to no hot water! I tried to re-light it without success.

My water heater looked much more complicated to self repair then in my last house so, I checked out Yelp and came across Swift Water Heater. Send a Yelp Quote Request which was promptly answered. Sent some pics of the serial number and such then got a call from Susan. She got me scheduled promptly for service in just a few hours.

Alex texted me to say he was on his way & showed up before my scheduled time and made the repair in very short order. I paid by credit card of what I felt was a fair price.

Called Swift Water Heater after my water heater stopped working on a weekend. I had a couple of companies come out before him and I felt both tried to sell me hard on replacing the unit. One company didn't even want to touch my unit because it was not installed to code. Scheduled J from Swift Water Heater to come out. He showed up as scheduled and proceeded to try and repair the unit. Unfortunately, what we thought was a bad thermostat didn't fix the problem and I had no other choice and replace the unit. However, I though J at least sincerely gave it a try to repair it before replacing it. He seems trustworthy in an industry where a lot of people try and take advantage of you. So I decided to have him replace it as the price was the cheapest compared with the other quotes. Within the next couple of hours he had completed the replacement. He did a great job. He replaced the unit with a new Rheem unit with a 10 year warranty. Replaced all the old valves and pipes and even brought the install to code. I would highly recommend him.

I picked Swift Water Heater over the phone because of the reviews, price and most importantly because of Jay's thorough knowledge of the industry. Keoni came out and replaced our water heater almost immediately after my call. Great guy, great work. We also found we immediately needed our entire house replumbed due to a water quality problem. I was so impressed with Jay and Keoni's character and ability, I chose them to replumb our entire house without getting another bid. I was a very high maintenance customer. Talked to J. What a great guy. My water heater lost its pilot light last night, and no matter how many times I tried to get it to stay on it went out. I rent, so instead of researching how to fix it, I called my landlord. He was quoted $1,000 and $2,200 to fix this issue. He is an older man and was going to pay because he didn't know better. I told him to wait and called J based on Yelp reviews. J over the phone said it was a DIY job and walked me through how to do it for less than $50 in parts. He said if I have issues he'll come out and fix for 1 hour labor. He didn't need to do that. What a breath of fresh air to have somebody you can trust help you out. I discovered my water heater was leaking at 9:00 pm, of course. I saw the great reviews on Yelp and also they had a Chat on their website which they actually answered that late. They said they could come in the morning and would call to confirm; what a relief. They called and scheduled an appointment for noon. I received a text message and Eric arrived about 20 minutes early. He had the whole job done in less than 2 hours. He showed me how to use all the settings on the new heater and everything is working great. I would definitely hire them again.

My water heater was off on a cold winter night, around 11pm. I called soon after that, and Jay answered the phone and arranged to take a look at the problem first thing in the morning. Even though my water heater turned out to be of a brand they no longer serviced. Austin took care of everything at my house today. Swift was excellent and much better priced compared to most of their competitors. Work was done very quick. They replaced parts in my water heater and helped me order everything under the Warrenty. They also explained how horrible Home Depot water heaters are and how for not much more you can get contractor grade water heaters that have available replacement parts and longer warranties. I also like how they didn't just push me to replace the water heater. They fixed it and told me when it has problems in the next few years I will prob need to replace at that time. They are for sure my plumbers of choice now.

My water heater in Ladera Ranch went out. After calling a few places I got in touch with the guys over at Swift. While most places had me leave a voicemail and got back to me later, the guys at swift answered right away, had me send over pictures to be sure they had all the right parts, kept text correspondence with me throughout the day, and even were able to come by hours earlier than anticipated. Most often it's better to replace the whole water heater itself. Not only did they did give me this option but they still spent a ton of extra time trying to find a solution for my situation and budget. Great service by Jay and his crew member, Armando. Our water heater has been out since last Thursday and we were tinkering with it hoping that relighting the pilot light would be the quick fix -- we were wrong.

Gave Jay a call and right away he was able to diagnose the problem and told us we needed a new water heater, FROM A PICTURE. He didn't even bother charging us a fee for him to come out, he knew it what needed to be done -- that was amazing. We were even able to book the appointment after hours, about 7 p.m.

Armando came out the following Saturday afternoon and got right to work ... turns out our water heater was from 1997 and DEFINITELY needed to be changed. But the price quoted for the work -- worth it. It's expensive, but for us with all of the corrosion and hard water build up in the tank, we also needed new pipes to be soldered onto the copper from the house, etc. and that was all included in the installation.

Needless to say, I think Armando did much more than we could have asked for, not only did he install the unit in less time than we thought, but he also explained what we should do with the new unit and how to care for it. I cannot say enough good things about this business, and we are so happy to have Swift Water Heater and look forward to calling them if we ever find ourselves in this predicament again!

Our water heater stopped working today. I tried igniting the pilot light and could not get it to work. Found out that the company that i originally worked with and had an extended warranty was no longer servicing in South OC. Luckily, Swift is an affiliate and they honored the warranty from previous company. Susan was very helpful in getting me scheduled right away and said someone will be there in one hour. Within that 1hr timeframe , got a text from Josh that he was one the way. He showed up ( super chill and friendly guy) and diagnosed the issue. My experience with Jay and Swift Plumbing isn't your typical. I called Jay the other day for a tankless water heater flush. He quoted me a price and I hung up. Turns out, after calling around, he quoted me the cheapest price around. When I called back to schedule an appointment he told me I was out of his range. Normally that's where business ends. Instead, Jay took time out of his day and walked me through the equipment I needed to buy and the steps I needed to take to do the flush myself. He responded to both texts and calls quickly. Not only did he save me over $100 on this flush alone but he made sure I knew how to do it properly so I didn't have to keep paying $200+ a year. Wish he was a closer so he would be my regular hire.

Can't recommend them enough. They showed up on time to do an inspection and make a plan for changing out a very old water heater, installing a water softener system, and a pressure regulator. They gave us a quote within a day and we had them scheduled within two weeks. They showed up early, did an incredible amount of work, and finished by mid afternoon. Their office even takes care of permitting and after they finished the work, we scheduled an inspector to come and sign off and they did. Swift also has an automated texting service to tell you when folks are on their way to your place which was very helpful. Great service, great communication.

Swift is true to its name! Our home's hot water heater started slow leaking on a Friday afternoon. Reached out to Swift requesting a quote for upgrading to a tankless water heater thru Yelp at 2:02pm. A lightning 5 minutes later at 2:07pm, Jay (Justin) responded requesting photos of my hot water tank setup. In no time at all, I had a quote for the job. As it was a slow drip, I took the weekend to compare pricing. Not only did Swift give me the best quote, but I also got the best vibe from them as well, with no sales pressure or upselling. In fact, I reached out to them on Monday for an additional quote for swapping out my washer machine shut off valves and box as long as we were working in that area. Happy with the second quote as well, I scheduled service for Wednesday. Promptly at 8am, Conner arrived ready to get right to work. I can't say enough positive things about Conner's professionalism and the exceptional work he did. My 14 year old water heater was deteriorated due to water leak from the valve above it during Thanksgiving holiday. I requested a quote early Sunday morning through Homeadvisor, and was surprised to get contacted several hours later. Keoni was very professional and friendly. He was well coordinated with his supervisor Jay, whom I mainly communicated on the phone and email. Christmas morning my water heater began leaking. I found Jay and his crew through referrals from my neighbors. He sold me on the tankless water heater and answered any questions I had about it including my initial reservations. Notably, I was concerned about the delay in hot water, but he had a solution with a crossover valve. We also explored different options for submetering (on a rental property) and I appreciate how he runs his crew. He seems open to feedback from his guys (who all appear to be knowledgeable) and makes a command decision after open and frank deliberation. Swift also installs a smart leak detection unit, which also looks to be a good idea as a preventative/prophylactic measure. I like things looking real clean and Bobby had a great idea of streamlining the electrical cords and components.

I'm looking forward to the final part of our tankless and submeter being put in. Thanks Jay and I have been strongly recommending you to anyone I come across whose interested in tankless.

When your water heater actually starts leaking, your stricken with a little bit of panic (protect the house/drywall, clean up the mess/get the water working). I think Jay has dealt with folks like this on multiple occasions because he was great at calming us down. Sent him some photos of the area and he was out in less than an hour and everything was great in less than 3. He also had no issue explaining all his costs (which were standard....no worrying about if this happens than it's this much extra, or if this happens it's this much more), and he replaced all connectors and cables as well. Called these guys (Jay) up after calling 3 local plumbers to try to fix my thermo couper on my GE water heater with no real luck. Jay said it would be no problem that he could be over in 45 minutes.

I called my husband to let him know what I was going to do and he suggested that instead of spending a quarter or what a new good quality Reem water heater would cost to just get a new one. Called Jay back, arrived within an hour, gave me a fixed price, put in a new water heater with a helper in a few hours. Fixed everything that was messed up in the current install and was on his way.

After an hour smelled gas, called Jay, was back dealing with something that was not resolved. Awesome customer service.

Few days later he calls me telling me that my current old water heater was till under warranty at Home Depot and got me a $400.00 credit to the store. Seriously...he could have totally kept that but instead passed that back to my husband and myself.

So surprised at the service and his guarantee for the newly installed water heater.

Believe the reviews. Our water heater went out on us on Sunday night (apparently) and we found out when it was time to get ready for work on Monday. I did a quote submission on Yelp and got several responses around the same time. Honestly, the reason I chose Swift was because they could get there the quickest. We sure didn't want cold showers on Tuesday morning! Jay responded quickly with a quote that was consistent with others, answered my questions via Yelp, and then called when I had further questions. Within 2 hours of me requesting the quote, Jeff was in the garage replacing our unit. Not only did he replace the water heater, but he repaired/replaced the supply lines that practically crumbled when he touched them, and at no additional charge.

We went with a standard tank, but added the recirculating pump so that we can have near instant hot water during those critical morning and evening times. Let's face it, no one wants to make this call and spend this money, but when you deal with professionals who are courteous and honest, it lessens the sting a little bit.

My water heater started shooting too much water through the pressure release valve pipe and would not stop. The water heater was rusting as well - so it was time for a new water heater.

I noticed the good reviews of Swift Water Heater on Yelp and Google. I don't put too much stock in reviews -- but I knew no one else and I needed to start somewhere.

I have to say that I was impressed. I contacted them online on a Sunday. I got a quote that day and was told they had room to install on Monday. Their quote was all inclusive of everything needed to complete the installation. The water heater they were installing looked to be of good quality as well, so I signed up for an install.

On Monday, they arrived on time (which is something, since I live by the most congested part of the 91 Fwy). The installer seemed knowledgeable as well and was more than willing to answer any questions. They replaced everything! This included the intake shutoff valve to the water heater, soldered a new copper relief pipe, added a new a pan, and included new straps. They did all this work in only a few hours.

I have changed a water heater myself in the past. I wanted to save money and I was playing with that idea once again. While doing it myself would have been cheaper, the quality and speed of the work done here was much better than what I would have accomplished. I don't usually find that to be the case for most projects.

You should give Swift Water Heater a chance. They do good work, provide good service and I they are a local company. I would call them again.

Swift was awesome! My neighbors and I live in 3-story townhouses connected to one another, making up a building of 8 homes. At one end of the building, the end home had their tankless water heater explode. The next house down from that had their water heater go out, causing a leak from the 3rd level. The next home down from that had their water heater also explode! The problems were happening one by one down the row of townhouses, and I'm located 2 down from the latest incident. Needless to say, my turn was coming up. Swift gave a price that was less than a previous plumber we used, so we decided to give Swift a try. They came out that Saturday, and while servicing my neighbor's water heater that exploded, they flushed out and serviced my water heater in the meantime. Swift was extremely efficient and fast, making the most use of their time. It took a total of 30 minutes that flew by, and my neighbor and I ended up not having enough time to take our Starbucks trip as planned. Swift additionally flushed another neighbor's water heater as well, making a total of 3 houses completed and serviced before 11am. Since our tankless water heaters are located in an attic on the 3rd level, it was inevitable for some pieces of the stuffing in the wall to fall on the floor, making a slight mess. Swift promptly cleaned everything up, making it look as if they were never there. I highly, highly recommend using their company, they provide the best services needed for the job! We went from having a tedious burden to a fixed solution that was easy and affordable - all thanks to Swift.

Swift Water Heater just helped me install a full set of tankless water heater and whole house water filtration system for my new home. Their work is solid and professional. They used high grade material for most parts of this project and installed everything in an organized fashion. They were on time, professional, and very educational as I learned the entire process of what it was required to perform in order to bring my water heater back to it efficiently operating again. Our water heater pilot light won't lite up so there's no hot water in the house. I called Swift Water Heater and they said they might not have the repacement part since the water heater is fairly new so I called Rheem to have the part sent. The customer service from Rheem ran a diagnosis and said it was the control vave unit and sent it next day so it arrived Friday. I called Swift Water Heater to schedule san appointment for 3pm Friday. The part arrived that Friday and Jay from Swift Water Heater came and installed it. However, the pilot light still wont turn on. Jay ran a diagnosis and found that the pilot light assembly also needed to be replaced. Unfotunately they didn't have the part so I called Rheem back to order the part, but their service department was already close. They said they will ship the part on Monday arrive Tuesday. Swift Water Heater said to call them back once the part arrives to install it. Tuesday came and a package arrived so my wife texted me at work so I can schedule the repair. Swift Water Heater scheduled to be at our place at 4pm. I left work early for the repair. Got home at 4pm. At 4:15 no call yet so I followed up, they said the technician is at another site and being delayed for another 2 hours. I texted their office said ok, but said try to hurry as much as possible since my wife is already having contractions to deliever the baby. They sent Chris instead to accomodate my request. I opened the package from Rheem and to my surprise they sent the wrong part! Chris arrived and told him what happened at the same time I tried re-ordering the part with Rheem. Unfortunately it was almost 5 pm so the service department was already close and can't send it until the next day. I asked if they sell the part at Home Depot or Lowes so they gave me the part number. I Googled the part number and found it was available at our local Home Depot 5 miles away. Chris out of the goodness of his heart went to our local Ace Hardware to look for the assembly so I drove there first to meet him and told him it was available at Home Depot. We drove to Home Depot and got the assembly. To make a long story short, Chris was able to fix our water heater. Jay's diagnosis was right. It took Chris 15 minutes to install the assembly and the unit was fixed. My wife's contraction was going within every 5 mins so we headed to the hospital after the repair. Thank you Swift Water Heater and Chris for being so flexible. We got to the hospital at 7pm and the baby delivered at 11:30pm. My wife is happy and looking forward to go home tomorrow and take a long hot shower.

I created an appointment with Swift for the the next day after I found my water heater developed a leak. Josh and Zach came out right on their expected arrival time, sent me a text and replaced my old water heater with a new skinny 40 gallon Bradford White tank. They replaced all the necessary fittings, shut-offs, copper connections and provided a new water pan. I requested a thermal expansion tank as well and they installed that perfectly. The work looks beautiful. They also increased my pressure from 58 PSI from the city to 65 PSI and matched the thermal expansion tank to that pressure.

Both Josh and Zach respected my home, cleaned up after their services, didn't snoop around and explained everything before they left.

Jay and Keoni are really professional, honesty, and friendly. I highly recommend this Swift Water Heater company to everyone because they are so honest and have such a fair price for their services.

Recently I have Keoni replaced my old water heater with the new one. Keoni took the liberty bringing my old water heater back to homedepot to get a refund because it was still under warranty. He didn't have to send me back the refund in the amount of 517.00 dollar in giftcard. He could have use it for himself but Keoni did not. He sent it back to me instead. I was so impressed with his honesty. This is so rare for this day in age. Therefore, I wish everyone would use this company. You will have a peace of mind without any worry when using Swift Water Heater service.

Jay, the owner of the company, is a really great guy. I sent him an email on Sunday evening and he texted me back within 15 minutes to get some pictures and info on my water heater. He knew immediately that I needed to get a new water heater because of the amount of water leaking out and the corrosion around the water heater. He quoted a price for parts and labor to have it installed. The next day, I called several companies to compare and found out Jay gave me the lowest price and best warranty for the water heater. I scheduled the installation on Tuesday morning 9 Am in Fountain Valley, He showed up 20 minutes before his appoinment time. That is a great start of the day. We went in to my shop and Jay explained to me in detail what he's going to do and gave me about 3 hours installation time. Everything sounded great so I let him and his partner do the job. Less than 3 hours later, he let me know that he finished the installation and tested the hot water. Everything worked perfectly. He told me that the old piping that connected to the roof was damaged so he needed to spend more time to repair but I wasn't charged extra. Overall I am satisfied with his work and pricing. He is a great guy and easy to communicate with. I would totally recommend his business if you need somebody to repair or install water heater around fountain valley/huntington beach area.

After doing some price comparisons to install a new water heater in my house I went with a plumber because his price was about $250 cheaper then most other companies I called. That should have been my first warning! When he showed up and started talking about all the things wrong with my old water heater and what it would take to bring it up to code I was shocked when he came up with a price way, WAY above the other companies. I explained that his price was way higher than he quoted and after getting on the phone to the manager and offering me a 5% discount I decided to go another night without hot water and call around again. Right away when I talked to swift water heater I knew they were not going to come out and do the same thing as the previous plumber. I talked to Jay on the phone and after 5 minutes he had explained all my options and gave me exact prices! He also came out and did the work and was awesome explaining everything he was doing and why. He was fast and clean and when it was time to write the check it was for the same price he quoted. Don't waste your time with other plumbers if you need a water heater replaced. You will be very happy with how easy the process is with swift water heater!

These guys were great. I found a huge puddle in my garage when I got home from a long day. It turned out to be coming from my water heater. I was in a bit of a panic not knowing if I could get my water heater repaired or replaced after normal biz hours. I I half to get a hot shower in the morning or else I just don't wake up. I don't drink coffee or tea or anything like that. I went to yelp and started dialing plumbers. The first 4 companies phones went straight to their auto messaging services. Electing not to leave messages I kept dialing. Finally I called Swift and a live person named Jay answered the phone. He said he could come right out and help me and had the type of heater I had and the correct size if I ended up needing to replace my old one. Frankly I was completely ready to dump 20 Benjerman's on a new one. My current heater wasn't that old but I figured if it was leaking it was ruined. When Jay showed up I asked him how much it would be to replace the heater and the price he quoted was really good. I was surprised especially since his price included after hours charges, since it was now going on 7:30pm. After he inspect the heater he said he could repair it and that it was a simple PtV valve or something. I couldn't believe he didn't go in for the big sale. An hour later Jay had my heater working and producing hot water. I was really thankful and impressed. I grab as many business cards as he had on him. I paid in the cash I had on me, being that the bill didn't add up to a tremendous amount. Thank him profusely and needless to say got my hot shower the following morning. I highly recommend Jay and Swift Water Heaters.

Last night when I was taking shower, I noticed water was not hot enough. I checked water heater and found out it stopped working. I researched how to fix it or how to relight the pilot lump. I successfully relighted the pilot lump but didn't stay lighted. So I checked Yelp and looked for a good water heater repair company. I found Swift with good reviews and called early this morning around 7:30 am. Jay picked up a call and told me he could come 9:30 am. He was right on time and managed to fix the water heater even though there was another small unexpected issue other than the original one. I am very glad that I picked to call Swift as my first choice and now we got hot water back. Thank you, Jay.
