I called at 8:30am this morning and a very pleasant woman answered and assisted me. By 3:30pm someone named Jeff came and replaced our garbage disposal. He was done within about 30 minutes and now we can go back to regular kitchen life. On memorial weekend... Life savers!!!
I was very pleased with my Plumbing service. They responding to my call right away and scheduled an appointment within 2 hours.
Their rates were very fair and they fixed the problem. I will call them next time I need a plumber.

I called Rocky Rooter about 9:15 am, this morning. He was finishing up a job nearby. He was at our house soon after. Jeff came in and had our clogged sink fixed, within 30 minutes. He is very professional and the price was very reasonable. It's hard to find people you can trust,Jeff is definitely one, that you can. Thank you!
I have had Jeff come to my house for 2 separate plumbing issues and his work was first rate. First, he changed the kitchen faucet. Second, he fixed a leak between the water line and the toilet. In both instances, he was courteous, honest, responsive, on time and VERY REASONABLE in his rates. I found him on Yelp, and am happy to go out of my way to leave him a review (which I don't do frequently). A 5 star review is well deserved. Thank you again Jeff!!

Very poor customer service.
I called in early morning, where a woman answered my call. She lazily, and disinterestedly listened to the problem I was having with my kitchen sink. She then told me 'you will get a call back soon' out of courtesy I did not call another plumber to schedule a service call, until I heard back from them. By the end of the day still no phone call, and my message was never passed on to the plumber. She basically listened to my complaint, and simply ignored me and moved on.
Went with another plumber who returned my message within 20 minutes, and scheduled a same day service call
There was a leak from the 2nd floor to the first floor kitchen. Jeff came out and was knowledgeable and explained his plan of attack. It was incredibly difficult to detect as it was a small drip, he ended up cutting a hole on the ceiling so that he can access the potential leak and was able to detect it. It was in a tough to reach position so Jeff rescheduled time to bring additional help. The pipe had cracks which they replaced. He was very thorough and cleaned up. He was communicative and easy to work with.
I have finally found a go-to plumber. Responsive, personable, efficient, and clean. Reasonable rates.
Used Rocky Rooter twice. Once for dishwasher and once for a clogged shower. Quick, efficient service, really friendly, nice to my cats and not overpriced.
Highly recommend.

Had our garbage disposal due on us this morning due to a jam. Gave Rocky Rooter a call and spoke to Jeff. He was able to diagnose the problem over the phone and voilà, it fixed the issue! Saved me time and money and he was very happy to help. I will be using Rocky Rooter in the future.
Let me start off by saying how incredibly grateful I am to Jeff for coming out in the middle of the night and making a scary situation less stressful. My washing machine went insane around midnight and decided to explode and dump water everywhere basically soaking the carpet and the walls adjacent and around it. I had tried googling 24 hour services frantically and most of them needed like an hour or more to come and with gushing water, I needed someone NOW. I stumbled upon Jeff from the raving yelp reviews and decided to give him a call.
Jeff was there in less than 20 minutes and easily defused the situation. Since the walls got soaked, he referred us to a water restoration company, he called them and even waited with us until they came. Jeff talked to the guy and explained what had happened and with three ladies in the house, we didnt know the first thing about what was going on, he stayed until about 3am with us to make sure everything was alright. Jeff calmed us down, talked to us and made us feel a little bit better about the situation. He even called me the next day to check up on us and see how the situation was going along.
Honestly, if you want good honest people, you call Jeff, he actually CARES about his clients, unlike most plumbing companies. Even though his fix was quick and simple, just him being there made things better. I will always use their services if something goes wrong and i suggest anyone do the same. I am so glad i found this company, it saved me stress as well as educated me about the process. Five stars arent even enough to cover this QUALITY care and human touch of compassion and caring that we received. Thanks again Jeff, we definitely owe you a lot.

Actually found Jeff (RR) via referral from NextDoor. Over text I sent photos of the bathtub leak, and answered a few questions. He and his team were able to assess that it was most likely the faucet handle cartridges that needed to be replaced so they ordered it ahead of time before the appointment. Turns out they were RIGHT! The leak is gone and Jeff was able to confirm the wood damage for the tub frame didn't have any mold issues, which has put us at ease. Phew!
Jeff was friendly, timely, and just good at his craft. I highly recommend RR for your plumbing needs!

I had a leak in my bathroom sink faucet. I found Rocky Rooter on a local neighborhood website called NextDoor.com. Based on the recommendations, I took a chance and contacted them. We agreed to an appointment. Jeff arrived on the scheduled date and fixed my leak within minutes. Not only that, he didn't charge extra for some minor issues I had with my toilet and outdoor faucet. Jeff was professional and pleasant to talk with as well.
Jeff came over on Saturday morning to fix the drainage issue of a toilet. He was very honest and fixed it right on the spot with very reasonable cost. I spend 5x more to fix this same toilet before and, of course, it was not completely fixed. Just call him and he will fix it for you with the most reasonable price.
I'm just so sorry that I cannot give Jeff more than 5 STARS !!! I needed a new kitchen sink installed ... This was a Saturday. I called the number thinking I would leave a message for possibly getting an appointment for sometime early in the week. But instead, Jeff answered his phone !!! He was at another site (not surprising on a Saturday) but he took the time and kindly fit me in his schedule for that afternoon !!! Jeff was so conscientious of his work ... You could tell he takes pride in his expertise. There was one challenging moment when the disposal also had to be re-connected and there was a slight hiccup in the connection due to certain new parts being not original to the existing disposal -- but he worked it out like a true pro and everything is working beautifully. Jeff is a straight shooter and very personable. I could not be happier and I'm very grateful for his work. I will surely call him for any future work ... I recently had a new washer installed by The Home Depot and they noticed that there might be a clog or drainage issue where the washer hose connects with the house drain pipe--although they weren't 100% sure. The installers said it would be wise to have a plumber check it out to avoid any potential future problems. That's when I contacted Jeff of Rocky Rooter who came out the very next day. Jeff said the drain pipes and drainage hoses were fine and he didn't charge me anything! Not only that but Jeff came out on a the 4th of July--a holiday. Thank you Jeff for your honesty.

Not remembering that I had used Jeff a few years prior I checked yelp, as I always do, for a good recommendation. I came across this amazing page of all 5star reviews and called over the New Year celebration. Jeff arrived within 30 minutes, rotorooted my main line and without drama cleaned out the line. He pulled out what looked like the Creature From the Black Lagoon, which was a longass mass of roots. He said in 30 years he'd never seen anything like it.
So for $125 my problem of overflowing sewage was corrected. Jeff is honest and doesn't make the problem bigger than it actually is.
Do not fart around trying hit or miss plumbers. Just call Jeff. I repeat: just call Jeff. You will not be disappointed.

We had a leaky toilet that Jeff fixed in less than an hour. When we first discussed the scope of his work, he said that all it would take was to replace the seal on the toilet. However, he went above and beyond that when he discovered that our toilet was on uneven ground. He added shims and caulking to ensure that we would not encounter the same problem again for a long time. High quality work at a fair price. I would definitely recommend him.
Jeff answered the phone right away and was also able to come out right away to do it a pretty minor job. He did not try to price gouge me like a lot of the other plumbers you hear over the radio. I would highly recommend you use him.

Jeff understood and fixed he issue with my bath tub quickly. He also noticed another problem, and recommended to fix it. The repair cost was very reasonable. I hope not to need their service too often :) but I will be glad to call them any time I need plumbing work in the future.
I requested a few quotes for a new ball valve for my house's water shut off and a new water pressure regulator. Received several quotes with a wide range. I tried to schedule an appoint with another plumber that had 5 stars, but only 36 reviews at the time and they were just rude on the phone. Rocky Rooter was not the cheapest, but they had the best communication through email and text and after a few pictures of my problem they gave me an honest range of the possible cost. I scheduled an appointment that fit my schedule the next day. Jeff came on time, checked my pressure regulator to see if it was working correctly (it wasn't, but I was told this before), and then started working. He finished the job, cleaned up the space, and then charged me the lowest amount on the given range of cost. I can do basic plumbing, but there was no way I could have done what Jeff did. I was glad to pay him and glad to keep his number in my rolodex (j/k, I don't have a rolodex).
Jeff was punctual, honest, thorough and an overall pleasure to meet, as was his wife. They make a great team! He went above and beyond with great follow up. Thanks Rocky Rooter!

Used Rocky Rooter twice now. Would definitely recommend for anyone. Both times they tried to offer solutions to help with the problem before they came out. When we needed the faucet replaced, was given advice on what to select. It was very reassuring and could feel they cared.
Each time, we were able to get service done the same day. Communication was excellent. I found them both on next door and on yelp, to cross reference for research, all the positive reviews were reassuring. And the fact that I've seen the van in our neighborhood before.

We had two leaky tub spouts that needed replacing. They were stubborn and refused to come off with my efforts. Jeff was courteous, taking off his shoes every time to prevent damaging our new wood floors. This despite going out to grab tools multiple times. And he was honest, telling us the new cost estimate when the work turned out to be more than expected (needed to cut some pipe and do some welding). In the end, he even charged us lower than his adjusted price estimate. :)
It is obvious that Jeff takes a lot of pride in his work. Even with just a simple tub spout change he was cleaning out pipes and making sure the final result is clean and centered. I would definitely recommend him to any friends or family.

Amazing service! Our garbage disposal stopped working and we had a clogged kitchen sink for 3 days. We called warranty and they were not reliable so I found Rocky Rooter and they came to the rescue! Quickest turnaround and came the next morning while also giving a reasonable price. Karen was super helpful and Jeff was very personable, clean and efficient when switching out the garbage disposal. We called Jeff for an emergency drain blockage on a Saturday night for our home in Irvine after other companies told us that they couldn't make a call even if they would charge an emergency call premium. Jeff said that he would be right over and indeed he showed up within 15 minutes. He promptly remedied the drain blockage and charged us what he said he would charge which was very reasonable for an emergency call. He was professional and very cordial. We will use Jeff again in the future and recommend him to friends and family. We are happy that we found Jeff's company!
Our main line had been backing up with an increasing intensity despite multiple home treatment attempts, so we finally decided to get a professional out here. I will be the first to admit, I was originally sold on Rocky purely because of the raccoon logo, but after getting quotes from them and a few other places, we went with Rocky... Mostly because of the raccoon, but also because they were quite pleasant and their pricing was much more reasonable than the other businesses we researched for the same service.
Ultimately, Rocky sent Jeff who was able to remedy the situation in less than an hour to our great relief. To celebrate, we simultaneously ran the dishwasher, washing machine, and did a few gratuitous toilet flushes, and have had no issues since.
Ok - so in full disclosure, I haven't actually had Rocky Rooter service my plumbing. I called because we have a sewer odor coming from our secondary bathroom. Rather than making a service call and proposing some sort of costly service, Joe explained the likely cause and suggested a simple solution that would not cost me anything. I was really impressed with his honesty and genuine interest in helping me find a solution. If his initial no-cost recommendation doesn't work, I will definitely contact him to come on out.

We called on a Friday morning regarding our garbage disposal that had died and were told that we would receive a text later in the afternoon to give us a 30 minute heads up before someone would be heading over. We received the text and Jeff showed up ready to tackle the problem. After determining that the disposal was in fact dead, Jeff went out to his truck and grabbed a new one and had it installed in no time at all. While he was here we remembered that our daughter's tub was draining slowly and asked if he had a minute to look at that as well...he did and he had it back to normal in just a few minutes. Jeff was a very pleasant guy who kept the work area clean and was very fair with what he charged us for his services. We appreciated his coming out on the same day we called and getting everything done for us so quickly. Would not hesitate to call him again!
Jeff and Karen were such wonderful & honest help, especially on a Saturday morning right after thanksgiving. Prior to them, I had rescue rooter come out. They quickly gave up on snaking & told me to either dig up the driveway or spend $550 to snake from the toilet. That just didn't sound right so I found Rocky Rooter, and that was an excellent decision. Jeff & Karen quickly solved the problem by snaking through the clean out spot in the yard. No expensive repair due to their honest way of making a living & expert knowledge & use of their tools. I definitely recommend them to anyone who has plumbing issues.
We had a leaky garbage disposal. Called in the morning and Jeff showed up by 11am. Replaced the bad unit at a fair price. Very clean work and left area spotless when he finished.
I have used Rocky Rooter several times in the 7 years I have lived in Irvine, and the service has always been fantastic. Jeff answers his own phones and always works to come to my aid quickly, almost always within the same day. His work is fast and professional, and he always cleans up after completing the project. This week, he came over on December 23 within 90 minutes of me calling him. He quickly determined where the block was, took apart the appropriate plumbing fixtures, snaked the drain, reconnected everything and tested his work. All of this was in about 20 - 30 minutes. I wish all professional service people worked as hard as Jeff does. I recommend him without reservation!

Well, I haven't ever written a negative review on someone before, but here I go. I gave Jeff two stars because he did show up and did do the work I requested. He installed a garbage disposal that he provided. He didn't give me a quote before he began and his finished price was very high. I learned my lesson there. Some of the reviews here say he is pleasant. I thought he was arrogant. Within about a week, the disposal started making a loud grinding noise. I texted him and his response was condescending. He just about accused me of dropping something in it to cause a problem because these things rarely fail so quickly. I tried to joke with him to lighten the exchange and he never responded back. So now I have a bum disposal that he provided. He was so unprofessional that he never apologized, but rather insinuated it was my fault, AND he hasn't responded back. THERE ARE PLENTLY OF OTHER PLUMBERS. PICK SOMEONE ELSE.
100% outstanding work and service. I was asked to send pictures and text message details on what needed to be completed. This assured an accurate quote. I called four plumbers and this was the only one that asked for pictures. They were also the best quote out there. Karen communicated with me via text and phone to coordinate a time for scheduling. She worked around my schedule and Jeff, the plumber, arrived on time. Outstanding workmanship from Jeff and one heck of a nice guy! Without a doubt I will use this plumbing service for future jobs. i had jeff come out and do some work on my bathroom. he brought his partner and they completed the job successfully. he is priced competitively and you will pay what you should be paying nothing more or less. i didnt feel like i was getting ripped off by jeff and thats all i could ask for. he did a great job and if i have any problems with my plumbing i will be calling him to help.
Jeff at Rocky Rooter was amazing! I actually hired another plumber but that plumber had to cancel due to his tools being stolen from his truck so he personally recommended Jeff at Rocky Rooter. I'm so thankful he did because Jeff really did a fantastic job. He took out an old kitchen faucet and replaced it with a brand new one. He even helped clean the counter space where the new faucet was going in! Just very thorough, thoughtful, professional and personable. He was very quick and friendly. He even took the time to check on a couple of other plumbing issues I had in my house just to give a quick diagnostic. He is also reasonably priced.

my garbage disposal was just not doing the job right, so I finally decided it was time to get a professional to come in and repair it for me because I am just too lazy to do that stuff myself now. My blades were pretty damaged and the piping was clogged, the man they sent in fixed it all up and my disposal is running brand new. Best garbage disposal repair!

I had a kitchen sink clog. I called rocky rooter and spoke to Karen. Karen is so sweet and asked me what the problem was and gave me some tips to try out to see if the clog would go away. She told me she will send Jeff my way and he would arrive in couple hours. But I'm the meantime, if anything else happens, to reach out to her.
Jeff came by and just like Karen, he is nice and friendly and I could tell he just really likes to help people.
He took out some pipes to see where the clog is and then took this long cable thing to get to the clog which was deeper in the pipes.
I have had such a great experience with both of them and would recommend them. Prices are very fair. And they are honest people. Will be calling them again if I have any plumbing issues in the future.

Rocky Rooter was awesome. We had an emergency plumbing situation going on in the house. We were hours away from sewage spilling onto the floor as the water lever kept rising from a mainline stoppage. Their arrival time was 15 MINUTES after I called for help. AMAZING RESPONSE TIME!!! Plumber was courteous and did the job at a fair price. Would highly recommend.
We woke up on a lovely Sunday morning to find our kitchen floor flooded in water! We were so dismayed and stressed but Jeff made it so much better. He was very friendly, and found the source of the problem quickly. Explained what had happened and what he was going to do and was very upfront & honest about everything. Jeff came quickly and resolved my clogged kitchen drain. It wasn't a particularly easy fix, but he patiently worked through it until the clot gave way and my sink ran free. I appreciated his patience and good nature. He was reasonable and professional.

I have experience with plumbs that happen to recommend all sorts of replacements and changes but not Jeff. We are going to use him as our everyday plumber from now on. I called in to get a quote. As I was explaining the situation, the gentleman on the phone explained to me his process and gave me a good tip to try before calling him in since it was possibly a simple fix. He was right and it worked. You don't always find an honest professional in this space, but this man is honest. I called about 6 other places that were asking for hundreds of dollars. If something major happens, I will reach out to him first for a quote! You can tell over the phone that he is passionate about his work and really knows his stuff! Jeff saved the day! I had a scary slab leak and Jeff gave me a solid second opinion and then broke his back to work until 1 in the morning to get me a hot shower again. I needed my kitchen faucet replaced. Rocky Rooter responded quickly to my quote request. Their quote was the lowest among the ones I received. Lowest doesn't always mean better, but I went with this company anyways. Jeff came as scheduled, worked quickly, and I had my new faucet in about an hour. He even volunteered to clean up some buildup around the faucet. Despite the lowest quote, I still got the best service and more.
Our garbage disposal was leaking and I had a pair of new fixtures for our master bathroom that I had been eager to get installed. Jeff came out the same day we called him and completed the job quickly. He changed out our supply lines and when I showed a little interest, he taught me how to turn off the water to my home in case of an emergency. Nice guy. Hard working. I highly recommend him.

I thought that I could smell natural gas when entering my laundry room. I could not determine location and was concerned about safety. I called gas company who inspected and confirmed that the valve and gas line to my gas dryer had been installed incorrectly by appliance store. I contacted several plumbers on YELP and selected Rocky Rooter based on their quick and professional response. Jeff arrived and quickly assessed the problem and replaced the valve and the correct line. The price was fair, reassurance that my home is safe, priceless. Jeff has completed a service 40 days ago, we were not even in the house after that and when we come back the kitchen pipe was clogged again. Our previous plumber gave us a 90 day warranty. He only gives 15 day warranty and don't even make a discount afterwards. I wish I could wait for the other plumber instead of paying Jeff double. Also when you mention about the yelp deal he says it's normally $120 but he'll make it even for a $100, but the service is a $100 even if you don't mention the yelp deal. He definitely tries to make as much money as possible instead of solving the problems for good. So I'd you're looking for a plumber I'd go with some other plumber.

I faced low water pressure and sediments in water. When I called Rocky Rooter, I got appointment right next day morning. Jeff is very knowledgeable and was able to find the problem right away. He fixed the issue in that visit itself with a very reasonable price. I was worried about facing a serious and costly plumbing issue. I appreciate Jeff quickly resolving the problem.

I can't stress enough how fabulous my experience was! A lot of times when calling plumbing type places you have to leave voicemails for someone to eventually call you back. Not here, someone answers their calls (the plumbers/technicians wife) and she is very informative and helpful. She followed up via text and a technician called me shortly after letting me know approximate arrival. The BEST part is then man that came out was so knowledgeable and pleasant. He was efficient, gave me detailed info and pricing before doing anything and got the job done super fast. It should be very much noted that he was also very personable and kind. I felt comfortable with him in my home and had a pleasant conversation. The experience from customer service, to communication, to efficiency, pricing and how kind the man was to myself and my dog.... 10 stars if I could give that many!!
This is the second time we've used Rocky Rooter and it's so nice to know that I now know who to call whenever we have a backed up plumbing issue. After having a contractor install new plumbing, our tub drain was completely clogged to the point where it was backing up out of the sink and he cleared it out completely. He was so reasonably priced too. Such a relief.
Too good to be true? No, Jeff is the REAL DEAL! Took his time explaining everything to my wife & I and also gave us direction on what our options are for the future. Did not enjoy the pipe leak one bit but I'm glad my wife found Jeff on yelp. The way I could explain Jeff is that he is a pretty cool person first and then, on top of that, he is a great plumber.

My wife and I recently purchased our first home in Irvine on October 2015 and discovered a leak from the piping output of our water heater. We contacted various plumbers that were giving us exorbitant prices for the job without any careful inspection. The problem with home repair is not only resolving the damage, but negotiating through the sea of contractors that at the end of the day, are trying to maximize their bottom line.
What separates Rocky Rooter from other plumbers is the genuine passion that Jeff has to create an affordable, stress-free solution for his clients. We contacted Jeff on Friday night and he arrived promptly. Since our house was built in the 70s, various contractors have worked on the house had made haphazard repairs that Jeff soon discovered. We had un-capped piping with water still feeding into it and a slab leak that was flooding the garage!
Since my wife and I are first time home owners, Jeff was extremely transparent about the issues and spent ample time to educate us on the issues and possible solutions. He drew diagrams to help us visualize the manifold of piping and how it fed into the house. Jeff and his team were great. I had out-of-town guests coming in the afternoon, and my kitchen faucet broke in the morning. I sent a picture, and they explained what kind of faucet to buy. Then, within a half hour, Jeff was at our home. He completed the work at a fair price in a timely manner, including providing some additional parts that were needed that he had in his van. He provided explanations and was conversational during the job, including showing us all of the features of our new faucet. What started out as a stressful situation ended up generating compliments from our guests. Thank you again for coming on short notice on a cold, rainy weekend morning. I had a plumbing emergency on a Sunday afternoon... Called several plumbers and Jeff was one of three plumbers that called me back. I decided to go with Rocky Rooter (Jeff) because he gave me a fair quote and a time frame that he could be at my house. He arrived on time, fixed the plumbing blockage and charged me less than he originally quoted. A super nice, friendly Christian man. I will definitely call Jeff for all my plumbing needs!
I initially left a voicemail message for Rocky Rooter in the morning to request service on a kitchen waterline / valve and they were very quick and professional in responding. I made a Same Day appointment with Jeff and he showed up at our house on time and with a smile.
(BTW...his wife answers the inbound phone calls and she is both courteous and prompt in responding to all inquiries).
After assessing our waterline / valve situation, Jeff recommended that we should not do any costly repairs, but to fix the situation by simply following a few of the steps that he articulated to us. ...End result: NO CHARGE

I tried to replace my garbage disposal myself; however, I was definitely expecting too much of myself. So I called Rocky Rooter and set an appointment for the next day. He showed up right on time, which was great. He did a professional job. (My new disposal is bigger than my old one, and it was so complicating to cut and reconnect all the pipes together.)
Called Jeff with a broken shower valve late Friday night. Jeff cam promptly Saturday morning and had me back up and running in about 30 minutes. Nice guy good service.
Jeff came in and tried everything to clear two shower drains then ran out of time for another appointment. He promised to come back in an hour and did so, finally getting to the source of the problem. A difficult job, he nevertheless didn't charge extra for the additional time. His work was very much appreciated.

I was hysterical when my engagement ring fell down the shower drain. Luckily my husband had his head on straight and called Jeff with Rocky Rooter. He explained the situation to him and came same day. This ring meant a lot to me, and Jeff understood the importance and was so sweet when I answered the door. I had a plumber come to evaluate an obstructed toilet and he tried to snake it ultimately giving up advising me I needed a rooter. He did advise me to find a mom and pop business as the big name rooter companies would try to gouge me.
Thankfully I found Jeff at Rocky Rooter via YELP reviews and needless to say I would recommend him to everyone.

Jeff is a lifesaver! Or at least a marriage saver.
I put off having our drains snaked because I was hoping the clog we had would just clear itself. Sure, like that happens. Needless to say, my wife was not real happy with how I handled it.
Finally, when the clog got worse early on a Saturday morning, I called a highly advertised national plumbing contractor whose technicians are supposed to smell like roses. After stringing me out all day long, they called me back about 5:00 pm and said they wouldn't be able to get to it until late the next day, maybe. For good reason, my wife was not smiling or happy with me when I told her.
That's when I finally called Jeff at Rocky Rooter. I don't know why I forgot to call him in the first place. I have indirectly known Jeff for about 35 years and I know the high quality of his character. I plain old forgot about him, because I just don't need plumbing very often. I usually do my own plumbing work.
Jeff stopped what he was doing at home and got to our house in 15 minutes, just like he said he would. He quickly and expertly cleared our drains from the back of the house all the way to the public sewer. Done, done, and done.
Amazingly, Jeff provided this high quality weekend service for a very good price.
By the way, Jeff started his plumbing service after working for a Fortune 500 company in an office job. He wanted to help people more directly. Seems like he hit the mark.

We had a mainline clog that we self-diagnosed after ruling out a simple toilet clog. The drain from the upper toilet was causing a backflow to our bottom floor toilet. After having someone come out and quoting us $2K in cash to fix what they determined was a broken pipe and toilet flange after they unbolted the toilet and saw a superficial spread of roots, we decided to do some more troubleshooting and seek a second opinion. It turns out that the roots were growing from outside the pipe and into a small gap in the wax ring and it was easy to remove. However, pouring water down the drain proved the clog was somewhere further the line. This is when Jeff from Rocky Rooter came out to help. Since we had the toilet unbolted and the drain exposed, Jeff was able to quickly diagnose the issue between pouring water into the toilet drain and examining and listening for running water in the mainline clean out near the garage. He agreed that it was a mainline clog. At this point he quoted us the price for the job of clearing the clog down in the mainline and we thought price was fair and work less drastic than what the previous folks wanted. Jeff proceeded to get his commercial auger and used it down the drain pipe. After about 5 minutes, he happily informed us the drain appeared to be cleared. After another 5 minutes of pouring water into the drain and going to the clean out for the mainline and confirming the water was draining, Jeff confidently told us the job was done. The issue was a mainline clog about 5ft into the drain as judged by the length of auger cable used to dispatch the clog. As the job that we presented to Jeff did not require unbolting the toilet or replacing it back at the end of the job, the price paid was reflective of this. (We installed the toilet before ourselves). We had a pleasant casual conversation as he was completing the receipt for work tendered. Jeff offered some advice for root abatement and another non-urgent plumbing issue we had. Overall I was quite pleased at Jeff's professionalism and demeanor and will look to him for an honest quote on future jobs if needed.
Toliet got stuck, call Jeff and he came in next early morning and he did the great job with a reasonable price.

Water was shooting out from the kitchen sink drain when the garbage disposal is on. I thought the garbage disposal needed to be repaired or replaced. Rocky Rooter was the only one who can come out same the day I called. This is the first time that I hired Jeff. He's courteous, honest, and efficient. It turned out I had a clogged kitchen drain. Onion peels got stuck in the Upipe. He fixed the clogged drain in no time and the cost was reasonable.
The only thing I didn't like is that he dumped the food scraps/debris in the toilet. Even though he asked me before he did it, and I said fine. Later I found out, you shouldn't dump eggs shells in the toilet. There were eggs shell & onion peels in the food scraps. I thought as a plumber, he would know what not to dump in the toilet.

We were doing fine installing a new faucet in the kitchen until we got to the part about connecting the water lines to the valves from the wall. The way our homebuilder had installed them, they had to be replaced in order to complete the installation. That wasn't anticipated by the faucet instructions. We ended up shearing off a copper pipe behind the wall. Fortunately, Jeff was available for a Sunday rescue. He fixed our damaged line and actually left the plumbing configuration better than the original. I don't do a lot of comparison shopping for plumbers but we felt his rate was pretty reasonable, considering it was weekend work. He enabled us to get the water back on in the house and finish our faucet installation so we could move on with the rest of our weekend. And he's friendly and personable. If your job is a little more complex, don't hesitate to give Rocky Rooter a call. Jeff seems to have quite a bit of experience with a variety of situations. We were very satisfied and grateful for his work on short notice.

I called on a Sunday night at 9 to make an appointment. Jeff answered immediately & came out the next day. My problem was unusual but not critical (the lever the allow water to be trapped or released from my tub is stuck). He diagnosed the problem and returned a week later after and attempted to correct it. He was knowledgeable and very fair in what he charged. I would highly recommend him.

We called Jeff to fix a clog in our toilet. He was very thorough, first trying to clean the drain and then diagnosing the problem as scale built up in the toilet body. He cleaned the scale and it is working great. On a personal level, very interesting, good guy. Highly recommend.

I have called on Jeff several times in the last year for various plumbing work at our primary residence and a condo we own in Irvine. He has cleared drains, installed new faucets, a new toilet, repaired and rerouted old plumbing and fixed leaky faucets. He is always friendly and professional and his work is outstanding. I hope none of you ever come across one of those horrific plumbing scenarios that turn our seemingly perfect world upside down. Water is the single most important thing in a household, you will realize it fairly quick when things don't work like they should.
Discovered a problem on Sunday night, did a little bit of research on Yelp / Nextdoor and was ready to tackle my problem. Narrowed it down to my top 3 and went to bed.
Monday 9:10AM, just got to the office and decide to call them first. Karen picks up the phone and talks me through my problem while scheduling Jeff to provide a solution.
10:15AM, Jeff calls, he just finished a job down the street and figured it would make sense to inspect our problem.
11:30AM, Jeff completed the work!!!
Water is running again, the problem is taking care off.

A plumber who comes the next day, at the time estimated, and has great manners? Where has Jeff been all my adult life?
We had issues with our garbage disposal and Jeff was able to fix it within ten minutes. He even took the time to teach me how to fix it myself if I should encounter issues in the future and left me with the wrench to do so complimentary.
He and his wife are a great team, with his wife handling the admin side and Jeff coming out to do his magic. I appreciated his honesty when I asked him to take a look at our tub drain. He declined to charge me more for removing the clog and told me that I had all the right tools already.
Jeff was courteous upon arrival and offered to wear a mask and remove his shoes immediately upon entry. I've met others who decline or roll their eyes at such simple requests, but Jeff was more than happy to oblige.
I will use Rocky Rooster in the future and am more than happy to refer him to others.
This is the second time I have used Jeff. I had a leak issue with the pipe going to the ice maker. I sent Jeff some pictures. After looking at the pictures he just recommended me a fix the issue using copper pipe instead of plastic for free on the phone. The fix worked like a charm. I have very hight regards for Jeff. If ever I need the plumbing service I would trust Jeff blindly. If you are looking for a honest skilled plumber Jeff is the go to person

We had some flooding on our garage, so we needed to find a plumber very quickly. Jeff was great. He was able to come as soon as we called in and fixed the issue almost immediately. In addition, he charged the most reasonable prices. The totally came out to be only $89, compared to other compiled we have called previously with the same issue that charged us $150. I would highly recommend this company for anyone needing a reliable plumber!
Jeff was courteous and efficient. He came by my place in Irvine, and the slow drains are fast again. His dispatcher is also a very nice person. I would recommend Rocky Rooter!
Just make sure to get a firm written quote before hand or be ready for the shockingly high bill. Does not give a receipt (I forgot the receipt book), gives verbal warranty but does NOT honor it. You have to prove the date of the job done. Doesn't remember he did it.

Called Rocky Rooter when our kitchen sink was blocked so bad one night (found his name in the association newsletter). Jeff came out first thing the next morning and fixed and cleaned drain within an hour. Charge was $89. I appreciated his friendly attitude and that he cleaned up after he was done. Will definitely call him again
I called today because my toilet was leaking. My regular plumber could not make it. Jeff was here within an hour and had my toilet fixed in less than an hour. Would highly recommend this company. Will use them again and refer them to neighbors as well! Thanks again !!

Jeff was very friendly and fixed our plumbing problems quickly. All of our toilets were running and we had a leaky tub. When I initially called and asked for a quote, he asked me to text him pictures so he could give an accurate quote. He actually came in under his estimated quote! He took the time to teach me how to make simple repairs myself. He didn't try to over charge, and was very honest. I will be calling him next time we have a plumbing problem.

My husband and I decided to look for a plumber after unsuccessfully trying to clear our shower drain. My husband called Jeff to ask about his availability. After finding out that our toilet and the rest of our plumbing was working fine and that we were located in Fountain Valley, he told us that he doesn't usually go that far north, but yet his website says he services ALL of Orange County with customers as far north as La Habra and Brea. Apparently, our job was considered too small to travel 12 miles for.

We have used Rocky Rooter for several years now and have always been treated fairly. We have had everything from broken garbage disposals, broken pipes, clogged drains and broken toilets. Jeff Holmes, the owner is both knowledgable and reliable. He explains everything that he is going to do. He is both personable and honest to the tee. His rates are very reasonable. Also he is prompt-- usually can squeeze you in the same day or at the latest the next day.

Awesome service! Jeff came and unclogged my uncloggable toilet. I tried everything from dish soap to Drano max and even an auger, but nothing worked. He came in and quickly found the issue and removed the plastic piece that was clogging the toilet.

I have used Jeff's service twice. First time for replacing kitchen faucet and second time for dripping bathtub faucet. Excellent experience for both times. For the second time, Jeff provided me information for tools and parts needed to replace the bathtub faucet stem to fix the dripping problem. Based on his recommendation, I replaced the stems by myself and fixed the dripping problem. A wonderful experience. I'll definitely use him again next time and highly recommend him to others.

I find YouTube videos of plumbing repairs pretty entertaining. Always finish watching 'em thinking I know something or even how to make repairs myself.
But when it comes to replacing 20+ year old plumbing fixtures and fittings, I call Jeff and his wife at Rocky Rooter. Jeff is the professional with decades of experience you want handling the inevitable issues and complications.
And the icing on the cake? He's an avid music lover with an elegant audio system fine tuned over many years.
Solid 5 stars. I'd hire Rocky Rooter again (and have). Scheduling an appointment can be tricky sometimes as Jeff's not surprisingly in demand.

Had them out to the house twice. Calling a plumber is like calling the fire department, you appreciate them but always a problem when you have to need their services.
Jeff really know what he is doing and does a clean job. He also seems to be a really good guy. You trust him in your house and he wants to make sure he has done his job in a professional manner.
Great service at a reasonable price. Called them on Thursday night and they were able to come to my house on Saturday morning.
I've worked with Rocky Rooter Plumbing a few different times now. Once for help replacing a kitchen faucet, another to replace a garbage disposal and most recently for help fixing the water flow in one my showers. Jeff and Karen are very easy to work with, professional and reasonably priced. I'm a satisfied customer. You should def. give them a shot if you're ever in need of plumbing assistance. I would give this plumber ten stars if I could. I had used a plumber a couple of years ago that was very honest and did a great job, but he was too busy to get to me when I needed so recommended this plumber. Jeff came out and looked everything over; replaced my water pressure regulator, toilet flapper and tub diverter. He was so reasonably priced, (he was actually matching the other plumbers estimate). When he went to write up the invoice, I noticed he was not charging me enough. I pointed it out that he had left out a few items and needed to charge me more (he raised the price a little bit, but said he didn't need charge as much as we initially agreed on). He was very knowledgeable, did a great job on everything and just a really nice honest guy. What a rarity. Seriously, when have you ever had to tell a plumber they were not charging you enough. Would highly recommend him.

Bad management. Scheduled for garbage disposal repair between 2-4. They texted me past 4pm that the guy who wS supposedly come is tied up at another job and they have no update when he will come. Keep in mind that this was on a Friday and Im expecting guests at 6pm.
I emailed in my issue (faucet replacement), and someone from the team reached out over text to discuss it. They gave me a quote (very reasonably priced) as well as helpful pointers in preparing for the appointment.
Jeff arrived on time, and with a lot of professionalism. During introductions, I saw him subtly notice my bare feet; afterwards, without any request from my end, he took off his shoes before entering the house. Can we say great first impression?! Like others have said, he really is such a nice guy, even playing with my curious cat, and did the job perfectly. Kept the area nice and clean too. Definitely recommend!

I called Rocky Rooter on a Saturday morning around 10:30 and Karen answered the phone and scheduled me around 1 pm the same day. Half an hour prior to Jeff, the plumber's arrival, she texted me to give me a headsup.

Called to fix a garbage disposal issue & Jeff came by to assess the situation. He was incredibly helpful in explaining the work that would have to be done! Very professional & nice! He even gave tips on how to DIY fix the problem in case we wanted to try that! 10/10 would definitely recommend!!
We have used Rocky Rooter twice for our office. In both instances, we needed someone to come out ASAP and Jeff did just that. Both Jeff and Karen were communicative on arrival time. Jeff completed both jobs diligently and quickly - one was to install a complicated alkaline water filtration system with minimal instruction; the other was a leak in the braided cord on our toilet. Based on recommendations from Nextdoor & great reviews on Yelp, I contacted Rocky Rooter for a problem that I had with my garbage disposal. I submitted a request for a quote the night before and got a response first thing next morning. Karen was very courteous on the phone and responsive to my texts.
Jeff was able to come by noon and replaced a brand new garbage disposal after trying to un-jam my current one. He was very professional and personable, thorough with his work and kept the whole area clean and dry. In addition, I had a question about the problem I had with a faucet on one of my bathtub and Jeff willingly looked at it and gave me some advice. Jeff prepared the invoice in details with serial number and warranty information. Their price for both part and labor are reasonable. Being a college student, I haven't really been exposed to big household problems that go on in our daily lives until I started living on my own. Our apartment had an issue with a clogged drain for weeks and we decided to be cheap at first and go down to the local store and pick up some conventional drain cleaner but really had no success. After searching around on yelp we stumbled upon Rocky Rooter and I quickly dialed the number to speak to Jeff who was happy to accommodate me the next day. As soon as he looked at my bathtub, he quickly assessed the situation and was able to pull out a bunch of gross hair and dust that was clogging the drain all the way in the back of the overflow. I have never felt so relieved in my life knowing that I can now shower without potentially flooding my restroom. It took only 10 minutes and at an extremely affordable price, I highly recommend Rocky Rooter to anyone around the Irvine area that needs help in these types of situations!

We had a clogged toilet in our downstairs bathroom. Jeff tried several methods to unclog the toilet but nothing was working. He then removed the toilet and this is what he found! We have used Rocky Rooter twice now. Once for a clogged sewer line and once to replace an exterior hose bib. Karen is so nice to talk to and Jeff shows up on time and is very efficient, friendly and professional. I highly recommend them!
I had a very badly clogged kitchen sink (one side of a double sink) that I had ignored for too long because of a previously bad experience with the last plumber I hired (whose name I can't remember). But then the disposal in the other side of the sink went out and I couldn't wait much longer. I was encouraged by the positive Yelp reviews so I called Rocky Rooter and couldn't have been more pleased with Jeff and Karen and their service, courtesy, promptness, and quality of work. We had a clogged kitchen drain. We called Rocky Rooter at 8:30am, Jeff came by at 10:30am on time, went right to work on the problem, tested the work thoroughly, and was done an hour later. We would highly recommend Jeff and Rocky Rooter.
Our kitchen faucet broke on a Saturday prior to a party we were having on Sunday. I called Rocky Rooter and explained my situation. The lady that answered the phone was very helpful and said she could probably get someone out today. Within 2 hours she texted me and sent Jeff over. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He has our kitchen sink up in running in a very short time. We highly recommend!!
