Best ability is availability and they're always available we manage multiple bars and always need service late night without someone trying to charge us an arm and a leg so we're grateful for their consistency (4years)

When a water heater breaks, there's not a lot of time to do in-depth research for a new one.  When my hot water heater died, the first person I called was Mo at One Source Plumbing.  I've known Mo from previous jobs.  He's professional, personable and very knowledgeable.  Because I was under duress with water all over the basement, Mo was extraordinarily patient as I texted him with multiple questions. After exchanging more than a few texts and photos, we made an appointment for installation the next day.
A great company, superior service and a genuinely nice guy!

One Source Plumbing is the best. They have done several jobs for us (cleared clogged sewer line, fixed clogged sinks/tubs, replaced hot water connector to dishwasher, installed new toilets, installed new hot water heater) and everything has been done well and at a fair price. Mo is super responsive and very patient about explaining the process for things, including our upcoming sewer line replacement. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

I have had One Source Plumbing do a number of jobs for me. He has replaced our leaking water heater with a tankless one, fixed our toilet that had a broken wax ring, installed three bathroom faucets and fixed an underground leaky pipe. He also repaired an outside drain  outlet and the water meter box that had been broken by construction trucks trucks parking on them.

The water in my kitchen sink started backing up. I called a few places. Most were booked solid for days. One Source Plumbing And Rooter had an opening the next day in the morning.

I checked in via text and Mo confirmed the appointment. He texted me when he was on his way. He came on time and got to work.

Unfortunately Mo could not clear the clog. That in itself is not the problem. He did not charge me. He explained to me that the next step would probably involve working in the garage to undo the pipes and try to get at the clog from there. He even drew a diagram to show me where the clog is.

In the end it seemed he was running late on time. He suggested I could possibly make another appointment or try another plumber.

Okay fair. I understand that he was not prepared for more involved work, and probably had other appointments.

After I came back to the kitchen I noticed he left a screw driver and dirty towels in my sink. Okay, whatever not a big deal. But when I looked inside the kitchen sink cabinet, I saw black stains everywhere. This must have happened when he was working and the water was backing up and spraying everywhere. He did briefly wipe the floor and the cabinet before he left, but that didn't do the job. I spent the next hour wiping and trying to buff out the stains.

Honestly, I am not sure how one goes about protecting the cabinet when doing this kind of work. But I am not a plumber. Once dirty water like this hits any un-laminated rough or semi-rough surface, it's not possible to get rid of the stains. The truth is I have generic builder grade cabinets. But what if I had expensive new cabinets?

I can see why most of the reviews are great. Maybe it was just bad luck. A bad day all around.

The plumber that came after him, did manage to clear the clog. He did in fact get at the clog from the garage. When working in my unit, he used those industrial 50G plastic trash bags to completely cover the inside of the cabinet and the floor. When the black dirty water started spilling again, it went right into the bag without staining anything. In my garage he connected a hose to the water heater and hosed down the entire area where he worked. It was cleaner than before he started.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? Mo and his team are the BEST! I woke up to water pouring out of my water heaters overflow pipe and pan and didn't even know where to start. I called a couple of emergency plumbers but no one could come out that on the same day. Eventually, I connected with One Source and chatted with Mo. He had availability and set up a same day appointment. In the meantime, he also FaceTimed with me, diagnosed the problem and helped me figure out how to shut off the water valve. He followed up with a quote and reconfirmed the appointment.
Mo and his colleague showed up ON TIME and immediately got to work. They were fast and efficient and even had a bit of extra time to take a look at my slow draining bathroom which they also fixed!
One other small detail: I offered to tip Mo but he asked that I give the entire tip to his crew member. : )
To say I was impressed is an understatement. Highly recommend and Mo will always have my business!

Mo was super professional and efficient. I had a big clog in the main sewage line so he had to remove my toilet and bring in the big snake. The problem was solved in 7 minutes, he put everything back in place, CLEANED everything and even replaced a broken screw in my bathtab (free of charge of course).
Price was very fair and reasonable considering the work.

I had Mo and one of his crew install a sink, faucet and garbage disposal. They arrived early, worked swiftly and efficiently and when finished gave me suggestions about more durable products I could buy the next time.
I was very grateful for all -- and then, I suddenly needed them again, asap, as I had raw sewage backing up in the toilet and bathtub of my downstairs bathroom. He came out immediately, diagnosed the situation and suggested a repair. He also offered to implement the repair a few days later at the beginning of the next week. His quote for the repair was beyond reasonable, very low. I asked an engineer neighbor and another plumber for their views of Mo's proposal and they both said that it looked good and made sense and was a great price. Plus, I have collected many estimates for this job and diagnoses for this problem recently and Mo's proposal was in line with the view of other plumbers but he gave a more lucid explanation. Unfortunately I cannot report on the work he did because my upstairs neighbor called and threatened him, saying she would call the police if he went ahead with the job. She did not view it as an emergency and I did not want to endanger him in any way. He had already deposited a debris bin and cleared his schedule for the week to do my job, but he didn't charge me for his lost client time or retrieval of the bin. I hope to use him when I manage to get this job done as I have a lot of faith in him and respect -- and big gratitude that he didn't charge me for delivering and retrieving the bin and his cancelled jobs on my behalf. I woke up this morning to a completely overflowed toilet and 2 inches of standing water in my bathroom and the toilet gave no indication of letting up. These guys came out within an hour and really saved my ass I'm going to save this phone number and thank you so much

It gives me no pleasure to write this review, but the fact is that a company that has bad customer service will not improve unless they understand that they will lose business if they don't make a change. That's why Yelp is where people turn for business recommendations, so they can find a place that is not only fix their problems but also leave them feeling good about it. I found the One Source Plumbing and Rooter lead plumber to be completely lacking in customer service skills. His technicians were both fine, respectful and careful. Their work was fine too. They had to return to re-repair a leak that they repaired last month, and it was during that visit that I finally lost my patience with the way I was treated.

The property manager of my apartment hired One Source to fix a leak in my bathroom, the drain of the clawfoot tub, as well as the faucet stopper that feeds the shower attachment. I was surprised that when he fixed the drain, he added a drain that makes it difficult to place a stopper to draw a bath; it's a claw foot bathtub. It should be obvious that it's going to be used as a bathtub. But, I figured I could pick up a better one and replace it myself, rather than make them come back for something so simple.

So. I got a chance to take a bath, very relaxing and one of my favorite ways to treat myself. But after I drained the bath I returned to the bathroom to find the floor flooded. What the heck! So I did some testing and found that although the repaired drain worked just fine when it's used for a shower, when a whole tub's worth of water is draining, the leak between the replacement pipe and the not-replaced floor pipe was so bad that most of the water ended up on the floor. I got back in touch with One Source and my property manager so they could come back and address this.

On the appointed day, the service window was 9-11am. They showed up at 8:42am. I had let them know to call me so we could come down and let them in, because the doorbell was not working. But, I had to take a shower ahead of that, and I figured that jumping in the shower around 8:30 would give me plenty of time. Nope! They were early, so when I got out at 8:50am I had 5 missed calls and had a text from 8:45am that read, We will wait outside for five minutes and then will have to reschedule two weeks from now.   I'll be honest, I almost wrote back to say something like cool, piss off then but I'm an adult, so I texted getting out of the shower and between me and my son (he's 18), we let them in at 8:56am. Like, I get that it's never fun to wait outside like someone is playing a joke on you, but is it really that hard to say Please let us in without threatening to leave this issue unfixed for 2 more weeks? You already gave me a 2hr service window, what's your hurry?? Since the first visit had already been marked by a bad attitude on the part of the lead plumber, this visit was definitely not off to a good start.

They came up, and I thanked them for their patience and mentioned that I didn't expect them to be early. He said it was fine and got to work testing the drain. They all kept their masks on, which is to be expected since they have to protect themselves from whatever germs might be hanging around inside my house as well as protect us from whatever germs they might be fighting off. I had put my mask on even though I was inside my own house, as a courtesy, even though I'm fully vaxd. But I also wanted to have my coffee and get a start to my workday. So I set myself up in our tiny outside space, just outside my kitchen. I guess I could have let them know I was going to be right outside my kitchen door, which I had left open, but I figured they would come looking for me before they left. Again, nope! After about 15-20 minutes I wondered if they were still at work and I went to check. They were gone. I was unnerved. I couldn't imagine why a worker would leave a house without taking leave of the head of household. This is such an ingrained expectation that I can't even put into words why it's expected. But I ask you, dear reader, would you feel good about it if you came to where multiple people had been working on some part of your house only to find it deserted? It's a thief that sneaks out of a house, not an upstanding member of a community. (Big house parties don't count, obviously, you can't always find your host when you have to leave.) So I called him. It was awkward; I asked what the end result was and he explained. Then I said, I was surprised that he had left without finding me. He said he had touched base with my son before leaving. Well, what he meant was he said goodbye to my kid on his way out -- I didn't find that out until later -- so when I started to explain how that wasn't adequate, he cut me off with a very defensive response. I ended the phone call shortly after that.

I would not recommend this establishment. I hope this guy learns to check his attitude.

UPDATE for Covid era times:

So, I went to make a few calls for an emergency plumbing problem last night but got ahold of Mo right away so didn't need to look any further. I remembered he was pretty awesome and super happy he picked up right away AND was able to come bright and early the next morning. Not only did he fix my issue at a good price but threw an extra part and repair for free because my toilet really needed it (?!?!)

Wow. Such a nice guy!!! Honest, friendly, & reliable what more could you ask for?

Well, as a bonus he and his assistant were decked out in all the proper protective gear and managed to make sure everybody being as safe as possible, maintaining the proper 6 foot distance and still making the visit feel friendly and personable.

A great plumber to call no matter what but extra super to have someone safe and dependable in these crazy times!

Mo and his team do great work. He came to do the estimate and were clear about what needed to be done and the options we had. We repiped our victorian home and it was done perfectly. We approved the proposals and scheduled the work. He arrived and noted, as proposed, that the work would take two days. The first day he checked out the space and got to work. We had an idea of how things would go but he was able to, after checking out the situation of the old galvanized piper meeting newer copper pipes he was able to work a repipe that was nicer than we had expected. This was a pleasant surprise. At the end of the work day he checked in with me and let me know what they had completed, showed me the work and gave me the schedule for the next day. He was clear to communicate when the water would be off and how the process would work. The second day we had a new tankless water heater installed and my goodness is that thing powerful. Hot water for days! He finished connecting the faucets, toilets, tubs, etc and tested everything. We now have water pressure that I haven't had since buying the property. I've been in the home for 20 years and never had better pressure/hotter water. We decided to do exposed repipes as the alternative involved much more coordination and steps in the process. They look great! He was sure to keep the visual lines clean and almost artsy. Job well done!

Mo fixed my water heater pilot light years ago and gave me good advice. That water heater finally died of old age and when I searched for his number to install a new water heater I discovered he has his own company now.  Good for you, Mo! He asked me to text a photo of the unit along with the model number ID on the side and area around it so he good give me a realistic quote on how much it would cost. His price was a couple hundred dollars less than the other two companies that I had priced checked that day. The following morning Mo stayed tight with me via text saying that he was going to arrive about 20 minutes early. Awesome~  He and his crew; E.D. and Juan were courteous and did a great job. He remains at the top of my list of good dependable plumbers to call.

Seriously the best service. Prompt and respectful. Saved my clogged sink. Cleaned up after themselves.

Definitely will be calling them again if I have any plumbing needs.

I called One Source the day after my bathroom sink clogged up and my hours of plunging and applying liquid plumber did nothing to resolve the problem.  Mo answered the telephone and was very courteous and professional.  We agreed he would come the following day within a two-hour window of time.  Mo arrived within that window.  He was as courteous and professional in person as he was on the phone.  He quickly diagnosed the problem and had it fixed in little time.  I was pleasantly surprised when, without my prompting, he cleaned up the area he worked in with tile cleaner and paper towels.  

Mo was polite, respectful, professional and knowledgeable.  I highly recommend him and One Source.

Very knowledgable and friendly! I had a situation where my sink facet broke and the water wouldn't stop. I called this number and the guy who picked up was super nice and friendly. He helped to debug the issue and think of a fast fix over the phone to get the water to stop flowing. He was extremely knowledgable about kitchen sink plumbing.

Responsive when I called around 1:30am on Friday night. I spoke w a plumber not an answering service. Mo was at my office at 8:30am and he texted 20min ahead of time to communicate that he  was on his way (as he said he would). He solved my problem quickly (within minutes). The day before I had guests set to arrive, I discovered that my bathroom sink was barely draining.  Mo warned me that pedestal sinks could be difficult but he came the next morning and he and his assistant took apart the sink and cleared every component, even snaking the pipe to the street. Once the clog was located and removed, they cleaned my bathroom thoroughly and explained the situation clearly. Mo is very professional, honest, and dependable, and is clearly an expert in his trade -- exactly what you want in your neighborhood plumber. I will keep his number on speed dial.

Mo went above and beyond to help me!  I had an emergency leak in the evening and called several plumbers who were not available to help.  But when I called One Source that evening, Mo picked up the phone right away and stayed on the phone with me for an hour to help troubleshoot the problem.  He walked me through a temporary solution for the evening and then came over with his crew the next morning to address the problem.  Mo and his team were very thorough and reasonable--I highly recommend them!

We had a dishwasher emergency at 11pm - where water started gushing out of our dishwasher into our kitchen. One source plumbing saved the day!! First Mo walked me through how to turn off the water and stop the flooding so we could go to bed. The next morning - he walked me through how to locate where the issue was - all over text because he wasn't available to come to the house till later in the day. He couldn't have been more helpful or friendly . I'll be going back for any plumbing needs in the future. Thank you Mo!!

Mo provided very competent service. He followed through every step of the way. He explained the process and effectively problem solved when unexpected and difficult issues arose. Mo was super responsive and helpful with a plumbing situation of very inconvenient timing (the night before Thanksgiving).  He asked me to text him a picture and walked me through a stop gap measure to stave off the geyser of sorts until he could come out to do a repair.  He contacted me to schedule a repair and would have even come earlier than scheduled if I could have been home earlier.  He repaired our utility sink very quickly and was a pleasure to deal with.  He's responsive to phone calls and texts and was the only plumber I called that night who actually helped me (I called about 5 so-called 24-hour plumbers and none were available except Mo).  Thank you, Mo!

It's with great satisfaction that I write to give Mo and One Source Plumbing my highest reference. I recently called for an estimate on a leaking sink. I had previously benefited from Mo's service in the installation of a water heater that had been damaged by another Plumber and was luckily replaced by warranty. Mo came out this time and diagnosed that the faucet that had been previously replaced by that same Plumber was damaged and leaking. He gave me an estimate for his labor to install a new Delta faucet. Mo overcame some adversity with the terrain of the sink and the parts supplied by Delta and installed the new faucet within his estimate. The new faucet works like a dream! I would envision using no other Plumber and heartily recommend Mo and One Source Plumbing to anyone looking for quality work at a reasonable price. Mo has earned his place as my Plumber relationship!

Mostafa is a competent and reasonable guy.  He worked through a really tough sewer mainline problem without complaint.   He was responsive and finished the job professionally.   I'm definitely going to call him again.

I have a pretty urgent need and although the plumber could not make it out to my location immediately, he offered to help me fix it myself by giving me instructions over the phone. I'll DEFINITELY be calling again!

***UPDATE*** Mo was just here and fixed my leak in under 45 seconds. We're having him back tomorrow for some more maintenance.

No one ever likes to have plumbing problems, but if you do you MUST call one source plumbing!! It was fast and easy to coordinate a time and Mo was very knowledgeable and honest. I don't know much about home improvement type situations but he took the time to explain everything before and after the visit. 5 star service, 5 star work, 5 star experience!

Super impressed with Mo and One Source. He squeezed us into his schedule on short notice, was polite and professional, and explained our options in easy-to-understand language. If only all tradespeople were as courteous and helpful as him!

Our plumber bailed out on our bathroom/kitchen remodel last minute. We called one source and they agreed to take it on. We had to sell the house so we had dead lines to meet. They had the drain, water and gas done and signed off by city inspector in 4 days. And after floors, walls and tile was up they had the finish trim in 1 day. We buy and sell houses often and work with a lot of plumbers. It's almost normal for them never to meet their dead line. But one source truly is knowledgeable on the time frame of they can get stuff done.

Same story as the others.   They answered when others did not.  Very easy to communicate with via texting and phone.  

Gave a window between 10 and 12, but came promptly.  Mo was honest and quick; he didn't try to pressure me into anything and did a thorough job.   The inspection was free and he evaluated a lot of things, and then told me what he was going to do and was very direct about the price.   He gave me a very fair price; and even helped me with some minor toilet issues without nickel and diming me.

The main problem we had was a clogged main line, and he sent a power snake down there to unclog in, then he set up a T.V./camera to show us what was going on down there, so we can see for our selves:   a plant root problem going through the pipes.  

They did an excellent job of cleaning it all out, in less than an hour.   All of the plumbing works perfectly now.

Sat 8/1 5:52pm - pipe underneath kitchen sink busts and water spewing full blast in my kitchen and can't stop
Sat 8/1 6:01 pm - call Mostafa in a panic and he said would be there in an hour.
Sat 8/1 6:45pm - Mo arrives and immediately shuts off water.  Then calls Water Damage Recovery to get to my apt ASAP to do water damage.
Sun 8/2 - Mo comes over and completes repair of sink.  Busted supply valve.  

Watching water spew out full-blast in my apt and not being able to stop it is sicking and surreal.  But dealing w/ Mo who understood my emergency and kept me notified as to when he would arrived made it easier for me to deal with.  And getting a plumber to arrive within an hour on a Sat evening in an emergency, makes me believe that Mo is not just a plumber, but a guardian angel plumber!   My landlord was so impressed w/ Mo's work that she is now going to use him as her plumber vendor.  

Bottom line:  Any plumber can come out in three days to repair a random non-emergency issue.  It takes a hella awesome plumber to arrive within 45 MINUTES on a Sat evening and save your apt and all your valuables from getting destroyed by flooding.  24/7 Mo is there for you.  No shit.

It rare to find anyone who is so competent, honest, and fair.  I had a difficult repair on old pipes, and a faucet that needed a creative fix.  Mo was on it the next day.  He did a beautiful job, quickly, and made a creative fix that is solid.  Even better, his prices are fair.   I cannot recommend him more highly.  If you need the best, for a fair price, call these guys.

Amazing work! I had 4 plumbers over trying to fix my water heater problem and none of them could deliver until I found Mustafa. He made 3 trips ( ordering parts)and patiently solved my water heater problem with a very reasonable price. Definitely recommend!

Mo is my go to Plumber. He is timely, friendly, and conscientious. I have used him twice and he always explains the issue and give you advice on how to remedy the problem in the future. He will work on the problem until it is solved. Pricing is beyond fair, not the usual Plumber high fees.

Mo is the only plumber I use in San Francisco. Mo has unclogged my kitchen sink, my bathroom sink, and fixed my garbage disposal problems while being extremely honest - not lieing or up charging me like other plumbers I've used in the past. He frequently comes same day or next day and remembers my past issues, educating me on how to prevent them going forward. Highly recommend him to anyone who needs a plumber!

Words can't explain how thankful I am for One Source Plumbing and Rooter. These guys are just flat out amazing. I needed work done at my house and business and Mostafa came out the same day and started on all the work that needed to be done. These guys not only know there trade well, but they are responsive, efficient, and there is no sticker shock on pricing.  We have had a number of issues in our older San Francisco condo complex, and troubleshooting and coming up with ideas and alternatives is important.  Mo is able to rationally approach the problem, suggest solutions and walk the client through the options.  There is no rushing the client to a quick decision as other contractors sometimes do.  Thanks - please keep it up!

We highly recommend One Source! Fast, efficient and terrific customer service.  The City of SF notified us that our water pipes from our house to the street needed replacing before they could continue work on city water pipes in the street. We called Mo, and the next business day he was filing for the city permit. The next day he replaced our pipes, and poured the new cement the third and final day.  Also, he communicated to us in advance when he had to make slight schedule change; not many contractors provide such important details. Mo and his crew replaced the main sewer pipe in our home. I couldn't be more pleased with the quality and level of service One Source provides. Prompt, courteous and very easy to work with. Our experience resulted in a very satisfactory outcome.

These will be the go to guys if I ever need plumbing work done in the future. Our sewage system decided to take a dump, literally, and we called Mo and he came out and gave us a couple estimates the same day. We called a couple other places but they charged more and with the great reviews on Yelp we decided to go with One Source Plumbing. Mo, the owner, does all the work with a couple other helpers so you can trust he'll do the job right! Everything he does is up to city code and standards and he works very efficiently. Was able to tear out our sewage pipes and put in new piping and had our plumbing back up and running the next day. Highly recommend One Source if you have anything small to large jobs.

After a 6 month hassle between us and our previous plumber, our sewage issue never got permanently fixed. One source came out and found out that there was a bad sewer valve in the bedroom. Once replaced never had issue again. Finally can get out of town with out having my tenants call about plumbing problems. One source is our go to

I noticed signs of leaking around the base of my toilet, so called One Source to see if they could help.  Mostafa (Mo) texted in advance to give a more accurate arrival time estimate, showed up within the agreed time window, immediately diagnosed the problem (a cracking wax ring), got the toilet up and a replacement in, and fixed a fiddly flush while he was at it.  Aside from being polite and personable, he was careful to move our things out of the way before starting work so he wouldn't get anything dirty, and cleaned up before leaving.  Payment was easy with Square Register.  Quick, painless, and affordable!  Thanks, Mo!

Mo came to our apartment to fix our sink. He did an excellent job, the service was fast and clean, and I am thankful everything has been repaired. I highly recommend this company.

Plumbing issues are no fun but I had a GREAT experience with Mo- very knowledgeable (even about the old building that I reside in), super helpful (suggested immediate solutions over the phone), efficient and timely.  I had an urgent plumbing issue and he made time off hours and on a holiday weekend.  He was great with communication, showed up on time, and finished quickly and was so pleasant to deal with. Pricing was very reasonable and the whole experience was easy.  I would highly recommend him for any plumbing issues, and I am really glad I found him through his other fantastic reviews.

These guys are AWESOME. We had a nasty situation in our sink. I called, was called back 10 minutes later, and then they were at our home 15 minutes after that. They cleared out all the nasty buildup and diagnosed the problem (an electrical issue with our disposal) and didn't even ask for any payment! It kind of blows my mind how nice these guys are. Mo is AMAZING. We had a plumbing emergency and I frantically called every 24/7 plumber in our area. He was the only one to answer my 12:30am call and although he wasn't available to come right away, I got a really good vibe from him. So when our emergency went from code red to manageable, we decided to wait until the next day when Mo was available. And I'm SO glad we did - he was courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and just a nice guy. He'll definitely be our go-to plumber from here on out!

Mustafa texted me back very quickly after I pinged him and 20 minutes later he was at my apartment on a Sunday night. We had a unique situation with some old pipes and dual clogs in the bathroom sink and bathtub. It was confusing and difficult, but he persisted. He even modified his equipment by grinding off the head of his plumbing snake so that the a thinner part of the snake would fit through our old pipes. He only charged us for one of the clogs and didn't charge us the typical emergency charge that every other plumber quoted me. Last, but not least, he cleaned up the huge mess afterwards and gave us a warranty on the work. USE THIS GUY! He saved us.

When Liquid Plumber didn't do the trick on my clogged kitchen sink last night, I called these guys. (Unlike the 8 open late places I called first, here an actual person - Mo - answered the phone.) He got the details from me and told me what he suspected was going on. He came over within the hour, was spot on with his analysis, and fixed the problem in less than an hour. And he was a really nice and polite guy to boot. I highly recommend this company - they are professional, fast and open late! And the price was very fair for the speed and service I received!

Mo answered the phone on a rainy day when I was experiencing a plumbing emergency and no other companies would answer the phone. He arrived and the situation (which was looking awful- water was so backed up it was about to enter the house) was resolved in under an hour. He should've been my first call- and from now on always will be.

Very professional, efficient and honest. i would describe these guys.  The water pipe in my kitchen suddenly exploded and i was in shock. i googled for plumbing companies and choose One source plumbing and rooter randomly without having any  clue what kind  quality of service they provide  but once i called them they  were  available and came so fast to fix the pipe. They saved my life from drowning into the big ocean and cleaned all mess. so satisfied  and i will recommend their service for everyone.

Mo was fabulous helping us clear a clogged toilet. He was straight-forward in talking about his pricing and how he would attempt to resolve the problem. He went above and beyond what he had to do to clear the clog by adding a snaking down the sink and cleaning up what was an ugly mess. He will be our go-to plumber from now on.

Mo was definitely NOT amazing. He installed BOTH the faucet and the sink off center and he stood around and watched while his assistant made a huge mess and left caulk and other stuff all over. They did not clean up well. I would not use them again.

My bathtub faucet had a small leak. Mostafa came the next day to look at it, within 2 hours he had the replacement part and had it fixed.  He could have ordered an entirely new set like other plumbers but instead he took the whole thing apart and only replaced the part that was broken.  Mostafa is a chill guy who works hard and works smart.  If other plumbing issues arise in the future I'm calling this guy.

I absolutely recommend One Source Plumbing.  A friend stayed at our place and tried to 'fix' our insinkerator. Needless to say, his well meaning attempts were an unmitigated, mini disaster. One Source arrived this morning (I also called this morning, so major props for responsiveness), took a look, told me it didn't need to replaced, just re-attached. They were in and out in 10 mins and were professional, polite and fast.

Great customer service!  I had a different plumber come and fix our toilet when it kept running, and he apparently did it wrong because he didn't know what he was doing.  These guys called me back on the weekend and were able to fix it quickly and without charging me for expensive unnecessary parts.  It's so hard to find a good plumber these days who won't just rip you off, and these guys are great!  Thank you!

One Source Plumbing did take my call though. They offered me an appointment window on the same day and were on time for their visit. We arrived home on Friday night to find a busted water heater.  One Source was the first place that answered their phone at 6:30pm on a Friday.  Within minutes, we had an appointment for someone to come out the next day.  By noon on Saturday, we had a new, fully functioning water hearter.  Our service technician Mo was knowledgeable, courteous and professional.  I highly recommend these guys for your plumbing needs.

Excellent service. Fast response, came same day. Fixed the problem in less then an hour and their prices are very fair. Mo and Issam were the plumbers that came out to do the job. They explained everything that was happening and were very pleasant to work with!

Sewage backing-up into toilet and garage drain. Mo answered my call, came by and snaked the drain, and the camera revealed tree roots and cracked pipe. Snaking didn't work because of cracked pipe and it had to be replaced. I was told it would be a 3 day job. There were circumstances that the job should of taken longer, and there were additional costs incurred to get the job done in the time frame he promised. I was not charged the extra costs. Mo is a standup guy and honest. Thank you for the 5 star service!

This review is way overdue. Mo is an amazing person!   We were having issues with our lateral line backing up at our home in San Mateo.  We had interviewed 5-10 plumbers before deciding to hire Mo.  He was knowledgeable, professional and available for any of our  questions throughout the process.  He replaced our lateral line from the middle of the street to the back of the house.  He worked with the permit inspectors and the city and we didn't have to do anything.  He left our home looking great and our new line is working great!  If anyone has had any issues with having sewage back up into your yard you know what I am talking about.  Thanks Mo for your great work.  I would and have recommended you to my friends and family!  Sincerely, Donna

After calling around numerous plumbers. Mo from one source plumbing picked up and showed up on 40 min(after midnight Saturday) charged me a decent price not an arm and a leg -even though it was midnight. They Appreciate buesness and will definitely recommend them. Best choice Iv ever made!

I love these guys for two reasons. First, they are awesome plumbers who are all about customer service and professionalism. Second, I met one of them (Andy) when I was stranded at the Andretti's gas station (9th & Howard) b/c I locked my purse, phone and keys in my car. Jerk gas station attendant wouldn't let me use telephone, Andy stepped right up and offered me his cell phone and insisted that I make as many calls as I needed to get help. I was really grateful since Andretti's is in a bum neighborhood and they had some crackhead running up to all the customers w/o anyone from the station intervening. Stands to reason that Andy (and his boss Tony) would do excellent plumbing because they're such excellent people!

Life saver came through and fixed up my whole mess. Clean work and very satisfied with the outcome. Great work from them. Best plumber hands down.

One Source Plumbing did a fantastic job helping at my parents home. They had a leak that two other plumbing companies came out to fix and they could not locate the problem. Andy from One Source Plumbing and one of his plumbers Mike came out and found the problem right away and took care of the repair. They were professional and did a wonderful job. Their prices were very reasonable too!

I had Mo and one of his crew install a sink, faucet and garbage disposal. They arrived early, worked swiftly and efficiently and when finished gave me suggestions about more durable products I could buy the next time.
I was very grateful for all -- and then, I suddenly needed them again, asap, as I had raw sewage backing up in the toilet and bathtub of my downstairs bathroom. He came out immediately, diagnosed the situation and suggested a repair. He also offered to implement the repair a few days later at the beginning of the next week. His quote for the repair was beyond reasonable, very low. I asked an engineer neighbor and another plumber for their views of Mo's proposal and they both said that it looked good and made sense and was a great price. Plus, I have collected many estimates for this job and diagnoses for this problem recently and Mo's proposal was in line with the view of other plumbers but he gave a more lucid explanation. Unfortunately I cannot report on the work he did because my upstairs neighbor called and threatened him, saying she would call the police if he went ahead with the job. She did not view it as an emergency and I did not want to endanger him in any way. He had already deposited a debris bin and cleared his schedule for the week to do my job, but he didn't charge me for his lost client time or retrieval of the bin. I hope to use him when I manage to get this job done as I have a lot of faith in him and respect -- and big gratitude that he didn't charge me for delivering and retrieving the bin and his cancelled jobs on my behalf. Our plumber bailed out on our bathroom/kitchen remodel last minute. We called one source and they agreed to take it on. We had to sell the house so we had dead lines to meet. They had the drain, water and gas done and signed off by city inspector in 4 days. And after floors, walls and tile was up they had the finish trim in 1 day. We buy and sell houses often and work with a lot of plumbers. It's almost normal for them never to meet their dead line. But one source truly is knowledgeable on the time frame of they can get stuff done.

Plumbing issues are no fun but I had a GREAT experience with Mo- very knowledgeable (even about the old building that I reside in), super helpful (suggested immediate solutions over the phone), efficient and timely.  I had an urgent plumbing issue and he made time off hours and on a holiday weekend.  He was great with communication, showed up on time, and finished quickly and was so pleasant to deal with. Pricing was very reasonable and the whole experience was easy.  I would highly recommend him for any plumbing issues, and I am really glad I found him through his other fantastic reviews.

Mo fixed my water heater pilot light years ago and gave me good advice. That water heater finally died of old age and when I searched for his number to install a new water heater I discovered he has his own company now.  Good for you, Mo! He asked me to text a photo of the unit along with the model number ID on the side and area around it so he good give me a realistic quote on how much it would cost. His price was a couple hundred dollars less than the other two companies that I had priced checked that day. The following morning Mo stayed tight with me via text saying that he was going to arrive about 20 minutes early. Awesome~  He and his crew; E.D. and Juan were courteous and did a great job. He remains at the top of my list of good dependable plumbers to call.

Sat 8/1 5:52pm - pipe underneath kitchen sink busts and water spewing full blast in my kitchen and can't stop
Sat 8/1 6:01 pm - call Mostafa in a panic and he said would be there in an hour.
Sat 8/1 6:45pm - Mo arrives and immediately shuts off water.  Then calls Water Damage Recovery to get to my apt ASAP to do water damage.
Sun 8/2 - Mo comes over and completes repair of sink.  Busted supply valve.  

Watching water spew out full-blast in my apt and not being able to stop it is sicking and surreal.  But dealing w/ Mo who understood my emergency and kept me notified as to when he would arrived made it easier for me to deal with.  And getting a plumber to arrive within an hour on a Sat evening in an emergency, makes me believe that Mo is not just a plumber, but a guardian angel plumber!   My landlord was so impressed w/ Mo's work that she is now going to use him as her plumber vendor.  

Bottom line:  Any plumber can come out in three days to repair a random non-emergency issue.  It takes a hella awesome plumber to arrive within 45 MINUTES on a Sat evening and save your apt and all your valuables from getting destroyed by flooding.  24/7 Mo is there for you.  No shit.

Responsive when I called around 1:30am on Friday night. I spoke w a plumber not an answering service. Mo was at my office at 8:30am and he texted 20min ahead of time to communicate that he  was on his way (as he said he would). He solved my problem quickly (within minutes). He was friendly & personable. I will call him again if I ever face a similar issue. Thank you, Mo.

I called One Source the day after my bathroom sink clogged up and my hours of plunging and applying liquid plumber did nothing to resolve the problem.  Mo answered the telephone and was very courteous and professional.  We agreed he would come the following day within a two-hour window of time.  Mo arrived within that window.  He was as courteous and professional in person as he was on the phone.  He quickly diagnosed the problem and had it fixed in little time.  I was pleasantly surprised when, without my prompting, he cleaned up the area he worked in with tile cleaner and paper towels.  

Mo was polite, respectful, professional and knowledgeable.  I highly recommend him and One Source.

We had a dishwasher emergency at 11pm - where water started gushing out of our dishwasher into our kitchen. One source plumbing saved the day!! First Mo walked me through how to turn off the water and stop the flooding so we could go to bed. The next morning - he walked me through how to locate where the issue was - all over text because he wasn't available to come to the house till later in the day. He couldn't have been more helpful or friendly . I'll be going back for any plumbing needs in the future. Thank you Mo!!

I have a pretty urgent need and although the plumber could not make it out to my location immediately, he offered to help me fix it myself by giving me instructions over the phone. I'll DEFINITELY be calling again!

***UPDATE*** Mo was just here and fixed my leak in under 45 seconds. We're having him back tomorrow for some more maintenance.

These guys are AWESOME. We had a nasty situation in our sink. I called, was called back 10 minutes later, and then they were at our home 15 minutes after that. They cleared out all the nasty buildup and diagnosed the problem (an electrical issue with our disposal) and didn't even ask for any payment! It kind of blows my mind how nice these guys are. Feeling very grateful.

It's with great satisfaction that I write to give Mo and One Source Plumbing my highest reference. I recently called for an estimate on a leaking sink. I had previously benefited from Mo's service in the installation of a water heater that had been damaged by another Plumber and was luckily replaced by warranty. Mo came out this time and diagnosed that the faucet that had been previously replaced by that same Plumber was damaged and leaking. He gave me an estimate for his labor to install a new Delta faucet. Mo overcame some adversity with the terrain of the sink and the parts supplied by Delta and installed the new faucet within his estimate. The new faucet works like a dream! I would envision using no other Plumber and heartily recommend Mo and One Source Plumbing to anyone looking for quality work at a reasonable price. Mo has earned his place as my Plumber relationship!

Same story as the others.   They answered when others did not.  Very easy to communicate with via texting and phone.  

Gave a window between 10 and 12, but came promptly.  Mo was honest and quick; he didn't try to pressure me into anything and did a thorough job.   The inspection was free and he evaluated a lot of things, and then told me what he was going to do and was very direct about the price.   He gave me a very fair price; and even helped me with some minor toilet issues without nickel and diming me.

The main problem we had was a clogged main line, and he sent a power snake down there to unclog in, then he set up a T.V./camera to show us what was going on down there, so we can see for our selves:   a plant root problem going through the pipes.  

They did an excellent job of cleaning it all out, in less than an hour.   All of the plumbing works perfectly now.

Mo went above and beyond to help me!  I had an emergency leak in the evening and called several plumbers who were not available to help.  But when I called One Source that evening, Mo picked up the phone right away and stayed on the phone with me for an hour to help troubleshoot the problem.  He walked me through a temporary solution for the evening and then came over with his crew the next morning to address the problem.  Mo and his team were very thorough and reasonable--I highly recommend them!

No one ever likes to have plumbing problems, but if you do you MUST call one source plumbing!! It was fast and easy to coordinate a time and Mo was very knowledgeable and honest. I don't know much about home improvement type situations but he took the time to explain everything before and after the visit. 5 star service, 5 star work, 5 star experience!

The water in my kitchen sink started backing up. I called a few places. Most were booked solid for days. One Source Plumbing And Rooter had an opening the next day in the morning.

I checked in via text and Mo confirmed the appointment. He texted me when he was on his way. He came on time and got to work.

Unfortunately Mo could not clear the clog. That in itself is not the problem. He did not charge me. He explained to me that the next step would probably involve working in the garage to undo the pipes and try to get at the clog from there. He even drew a diagram to show me where the clog is.

In the end it seemed he was running late on time. He suggested I could possibly make another appointment or try another plumber.

Okay fair. I understand that he was not prepared for more involved work, and probably had other appointments.

After I came back to the kitchen I noticed he left a screw driver and dirty towels in my sink. Okay, whatever not a big deal. But when I looked inside the kitchen sink cabinet, I saw black stains everywhere. This must have happened when he was working and the water was backing up and spraying everywhere. He did briefly wipe the floor and the cabinet before he left, but that didn't do the job. I spent the next hour wiping and trying to buff out the stains.

Honestly, I am not sure how one goes about protecting the cabinet when doing this kind of work. But I am not a plumber. Once dirty water like this hits any un-laminated rough or semi-rough surface, it's not possible to get rid of the stains. The truth is I have generic builder grade cabinets. But what if I had expensive new cabinets?

I can see why most of the reviews are great. Maybe it was just bad luck. A bad day all around.

The plumber that came after him, did manage to clear the clog. He did in fact get at the clog from the garage. When working in my unit, he used those industrial 50G plastic trash bags to completely cover the inside of the cabinet and the floor. When the black dirty water started spilling again, it went right into the bag without staining anything. In my garage he connected a hose to the water heater and hosed down the entire area where he worked. It was cleaner than before he started.

I have had One Source Plumbing do a number of jobs for me. I am so grateful that Mo picked up the phone this morning and was available to help with my weekend plumbing emergency, even when no other plumber (including those that say 24 hour service) would return my call! Not only did he fix the pipe that burst under our kitchen sink, but he also fixed a less urgent issue with our tub, and did both at a reasonable cost. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a plumber and am so happy to have my kitchen sink up and running again!

Mo was fabulous helping us clear a clogged toilet. He was straight-forward in talking about his pricing and how he would attempt to resolve the problem. He went above and beyond what he had to do to clear the clog by adding a snaking down the sink and cleaning up what was an ugly mess. He will be our go-to plumber from now on.

What can I say that hasn't already been said? Mo and his team are the BEST! I woke up to water pouring out of my water heaters overflow pipe and pan and didn't even know where to start. I called a couple of emergency plumbers but no one could come out that on the same day. Eventually, I connected with One Source and chatted with Mo. He had availability and set up a same day appointment. In the meantime, he also FaceTimed with me, diagnosed the problem and helped me figure out how to shut off the water valve. He followed up with a quote and reconfirmed the appointment.

Mo was super professional and efficient. I had a big clog in the main sewage line so he had to remove my toilet and bring in the big snake. The problem was solved in 7 minutes, he put everything back in place, CLEANED everything and even replaced a broken screw in my bathtab (free of charge of course).

Mustafa texted me back very quickly after I pinged him and 20 minutes later he was at my apartment on a Sunday night. We had a unique situation with some old pipes and dual clogs in the bathroom sink and bathtub. It was confusing and difficult, but he persisted. He even modified his equipment by grinding off the head of his plumbing snake so that the a thinner part of the snake would fit through our old pipes. He only charged us for one of the clogs and didn't charge us the typical emergency charge that every other plumber quoted me. Last, but not least, he cleaned up the huge mess afterwards and gave us a warranty on the work. USE THIS GUY! He saved us.

Sewage backing-up into toilet and garage drain. Mo answered my call, came by and snaked the drain, and the camera revealed tree roots and cracked pipe. Snaking didn't work because of cracked pipe and it had to be replaced. I was told it would be a 3 day job. There were circumstances that the job should of taken longer, and there were additional costs incurred to get the job done in the time frame he promised. I was not charged the extra costs. Mo is a standup guy and honest. Thank you for the 5 star service!

Mo answered the phone on a rainy day when I was experiencing a plumbing emergency and no other companies would answer the phone. He arrived and the situation (which was looking awful- water was so backed up it was about to enter the house) was resolved in under an hour. He should've been my first call- and from now on always will be.

When a water heater breaks, there's not a lot of time to do in-depth research for a new one.  When my hot water heater died, the first person I called was Mo at One Source Plumbing.  I've known Mo from previous jobs.  He's professional, personable and very knowledgeable.  Because I was under duress with water all over the basement, Mo was extraordinarily patient as I texted him with multiple questions. The day before I had guests set to arrive, I discovered that my bathroom sink was barely draining.  Mo warned me that pedestal sinks could be difficult but he came the next morning and he and his assistant took apart the sink and cleared every component, even snaking the pipe to the street. Once the clog was located and removed, they cleaned my bathroom thoroughly and explained the situation clearly. Mo is very professional, honest, and dependable, and is clearly an expert in his trade -- exactly what you want in your neighborhood plumber. I will keep his number on speed dial.

It gives me no pleasure to write this review, but the fact is that a company that has bad customer service will not improve unless they understand that they will lose business if they don't make a change. That's why Yelp is where people turn for business recommendations, so they can find a place that is not only fix their problems but also leave them feeling good about it. I found the One Source Plumbing and Rooter lead plumber to be completely lacking in customer service skills. His technicians were both fine, respectful and careful. Their work was fine too. They had to return to re-repair a leak that they repaired last month, and it was during that visit that I finally lost my patience with the way I was treated.

The property manager of my apartment hired One Source to fix a leak in my bathroom, the drain of the clawfoot tub, as well as the faucet stopper that feeds the shower attachment. I was surprised that when he fixed the drain, he added a drain that makes it difficult to place a stopper to draw a bath; it's a claw foot bathtub. It should be obvious that it's going to be used as a bathtub. But, I figured I could pick up a better one and replace it myself, rather than make them come back for something so simple.

So. I got a chance to take a bath, very relaxing and one of my favorite ways to treat myself. But after I drained the bath I returned to the bathroom to find the floor flooded. What the heck! So I did some testing and found that although the repaired drain worked just fine when it's used for a shower, when a whole tub's worth of water is draining, the leak between the replacement pipe and the not-replaced floor pipe was so bad that most of the water ended up on the floor. I got back in touch with One Source and my property manager so they could come back and address this.

On the appointed day, the service window was 9-11am. They showed up at 8:42am. I had let them know to call me so we could come down and let them in, because the doorbell was not working. But, I had to take a shower ahead of that, and I figured that jumping in the shower around 8:30 would give me plenty of time. Nope! They were early, so when I got out at 8:50am I had 5 missed calls and had a text from 8:45am that read, We will wait outside for five minutes and then will have to reschedule two weeks from now.   I'll be honest, I almost wrote back to say something like cool, piss off then but I'm an adult, so I texted getting out of the shower and between me and my son (he's 18), we let them in at 8:56am. Like, I get that it's never fun to wait outside like someone is playing a joke on you, but is it really that hard to say Please let us in without threatening to leave this issue unfixed for 2 more weeks? You already gave me a 2hr service window, what's your hurry?? Since the first visit had already been marked by a bad attitude on the part of the lead plumber, this visit was definitely not off to a good start.

They came up, and I thanked them for their patience and mentioned that I didn't expect them to be early. He said it was fine and got to work testing the drain. They all kept their masks on, which is to be expected since they have to protect themselves from whatever germs might be hanging around inside my house as well as protect us from whatever germs they might be fighting off. I had put my mask on even though I was inside my own house, as a courtesy, even though I'm fully vaxd. But I also wanted to have my coffee and get a start to my workday. So I set myself up in our tiny outside space, just outside my kitchen. I guess I could have let them know I was going to be right outside my kitchen door, which I had left open, but I figured they would come looking for me before they left. Again, nope! After about 15-20 minutes I wondered if they were still at work and I went to check. They were gone. I was unnerved. I couldn't imagine why a worker would leave a house without taking leave of the head of household. This is such an ingrained expectation that I can't even put into words why it's expected. But I ask you, dear reader, would you feel good about it if you came to where multiple people had been working on some part of your house only to find it deserted? It's a thief that sneaks out of a house, not an upstanding member of a community. (Big house parties don't count, obviously, you can't always find your host when you have to leave.) So I called him. It was awkward; I asked what the end result was and he explained. Then I said, I was surprised that he had left without finding me. He said he had touched base with my son before leaving. Well, what he meant was he said goodbye to my kid on his way out -- I didn't find that out until later -- so when I started to explain how that wasn't adequate, he cut me off with a very defensive response. I ended the phone call shortly after that.

I would not recommend this establishment. I hope this guy learns to check his attitude.

One Source Plumbing is the best. They have done several jobs for us (cleared clogged sewer line, fixed clogged sinks/tubs, replaced hot water connector to dishwasher, installed new toilets, installed new hot water heater) and everything has been done well and at a fair price. Excellent same day service. We needed an entire toilet replaced and were on a tight schedule to get it done. The plumber was very accommodating and completed all of the work very quickly, bringing the new toilet, replacing it, and even taking away the old one.

Mo and his team do great work. He came to do the estimate and were clear about what needed to be done and the options we had. We repiped our victorian home and it was done perfectly. We approved the proposals and scheduled the work. He arrived and noted, as proposed, that the work would take two days. The first day he checked out the space and got to work. We had an idea of how things would go but he was able to, after checking out the situation of the old galvanized piper meeting newer copper pipes he was able to work a repipe that was nicer than we had expected. This was a pleasant surprise. At the end of the work day he checked in with me and let me know what they had completed, showed me the work and gave me the schedule for the next day. He was clear to communicate when the water would be off and how the process would work. The second day we had a new tankless water heater installed and my goodness is that thing powerful. Hot water for days! He finished connecting the faucets, toilets, tubs, etc and tested everything. We now have water pressure that I haven't had since buying the property. I've been in the home for 20 years and never had better pressure/hotter water. We decided to do exposed repipes as the alternative involved much more coordination and steps in the process. They look great! He was sure to keep the visual lines clean and almost artsy. Job well done!

When Liquid Plumber didn't do the trick on my clogged kitchen sink last night, I called these guys. (Unlike the 8 open late places I called first, here an actual person - Mo - answered the phone.) Mo is the only plumber I use in San Francisco. Mo has unclogged my kitchen sink, my bathroom sink, and fixed my garbage disposal problems while being extremely honest - not lieing or up charging me like other plumbers I've used in the past. So, I went to make a few calls for an emergency plumbing problem last night but got ahold of Mo right away so didn't need to look any further. Not only did he fix my issue at a good price but threw an extra part and repair for free because my toilet really needed it (?!?!)

These will be the go to guys if I ever need plumbing work done in the future. Our sewage system decided to take a dump, literally, and we called Mo and he came out and gave us a couple estimates the same day. We called a couple other places but they charged more and with the great reviews on Yelp we decided to go with One Source Plumbing. Mo, the owner, does all the work with a couple other helpers so you can trust he'll do the job right! Everything he does is up to city code and standards and he works very efficiently. Was able to tear out our sewage pipes and put in new piping and had our plumbing back up and running the next day. Highly recommend One Source if you have anything small to large jobs.
