I wanted to just say thank you Mike so much for your professionalism and for being so kind to my mother in-law yesterday. She had a clogged kitchen sink and after calling a number of plumbers you were the most professional on the phone and you were able to come out to her home yesterday at the last minute. As she suffers from Alzheimer's things like this can be very stressful for her and you were so kind and patient. You were very clear with your diagnosis of the problem and when you could have just fixed it and charged us you instead explained that this could be covered by her HOA and advised that we contact them first. AND didn't charge us ANYTHING.... WOW, talk about honesty.... We did contact her HOA and they are sending someone out today. Even though you might not get the business this time please know that you will be our go to guy for any future plumbing projects!

Had a water main leak in our front yard flooding our walkway, grass, and into the garage. We called MyGuy based on the high yelp reviews. Was not disappointed! Price was fair, they were responsive, and were able to start the work when we needed. They not only took care when digging the trench for repairs, but rerouted the main line through the garage installing a new shutoff valve and pressure valve as our water pressure was too high. Also added a much needed shutoff to the sprinkler system. The showed up right on time as stated, and completed what would normally have taken a full day + worth of work in about 5-6 hours.

They were extremely professional, had great service, took care with our property, and did all the movement of items in our garage to make way for the new line install. When finished they put everything back in place and took care to clean as if they were not even there. Even our neighbors came by to say how impressed they were with the speed and quality of care (lots of plumbing issues on our street- common in south county).

I would 100% recommend them for any plumbing needs, and will absolutely be using them as my go-to should another issues arise. Great to have local businesses with high service and quality standards.

We had a problem with low water flow rate in our shower when we remodeled our bathroom and the contractor and plumber both insisted that it was OK, normal, even though the water flow was less than half that rated by the vslve manufacturer So my wife found MyGuy Plumbing on line, the.reviews looked really good. It took less than 30 minutes to diagnose and correct the problem which was that the stop valves had only been turned on half way during the installation. It was an unexpected result and I am grateful to the plumber and would not hesitate to call MyGuy plumbing with any future problems.

Mike and MyGuy plumbing are the real deal. I am doing a full remodel of my backyard and had some unique concepts - there were several plumbers/gas guys to come out to check out my project and they either flaked, were unprofessional or couldn't figure out how to make my concepts come to fruition. Mike did not have that problem - from the moment he came out to the job site he knew exactly how to get the job done. He started the job on time - made sure he followed up with the city to get me all the necessary permits and finished on schedule. It doesn't get any better than this company.

Best experience ever with a plumber! Last night around 9PM we noticed our water pressure seemed low, about that time a neighbor knocked on our door and said we had a small river in front of our house. Seemed to be coming from the valve at the street before it gets to the house. Called the water district and to their credit they sent a guy out but he determined the problem was on the house side of the valve so it was our problem. We asked friends for a recommendation and they suggested My Guy Plumbing. Contacted them first thing in the morning, Mike arrived right on time, spent time assessing the problem, proposed a solution, we discussed options with him, agreed on a plan (replacing the break prone PVC with copper), he wrote up a detailed quote, went and picked up the materials he needed and brought back his crew (including Jose who our friends had mentioned specifically in their referral). They knocked out the job in one day (granted they were here until 7:30PM to do so) when they thought it would take part of a second day, checked in with us throughout the process, replanted the plants that were displaced during trenching, cleaned up after themselves beautifully, and came in 20% under their quote. Nice, professional, communicative, and quality work; we could not be happier with the outcome. As we have plumbing projects Mike and Jose of My Guy Plumbing will be our first call.

Found Mike here on Yelp based on reviews. Had him come install an under sink reverse osmosis water system - first time calling on My Guy Plumbing. Fantastic service - from the call return, to the scheduling, to the update (we should be on our way in x-amount of time...), and the work. I spoke to Mike on the phone in regards to a slow running/clogged patio drain . Mike was extremely polite and professional on the phone and we set up an appointment for the following day. Mike arrived and went right to work. Mike worked on the outside patio drain for awhile but unfortunately wasn't able to successfully clear the drain.
BUT here's where Mike's plumbing service sets a high bar above the rest; he said NO CHARGE! He explained that he was unable to fix what he was hired to do so no charge This is just unheard of in this type of industry. 5 plus stars for you Mike for your outstanding business ethics. I would have gladly paid for his service charge but he would not except it. He also explained to me other remedies/options to dealing with this drain and referred me to another plumbing contactor that specializes in these options. Thanks Mike!!!!!!

Second time using My Guy, this time for a slab leak repipe. Quick, professional and courteous. Mike, Jose and crew are great to work with. Did all work with Covid-19 masks on. Put down tarps, moved furniture and taped off with plastic to protect from dust. Completed on time. Cleaned up so thoroughly that carpet looked even better than before. Labeled and saved drywall access cutouts. Swapped out a shower head and fixed a couple sink drains at no extra cost. Highly recommend.

Mike called back within an hour of leaving a message and scheduled the appointment the same day. He came within the time frame. The price was very reasonable. He completed the job within 40 minutes. He fixed 2 toilets, 1 with a leak and the other that needed a new flapper. He even fixed the pipe outside for no cost. He did a great job, left no mess, and everything is working like new. His work comes with a 1 year guarantee. I will use his services for future plumbing needs.

We had a water leak in our garage ceiling. Called several folks via Yelp on Monday evening
(Memorial day). Mike from MyGuy Plumbing returned our inquiry late in the evening and said he could be at our place in the morning. He arrived and was able to locate and fix the leak within 30 mins or so. I have to say, we have had several homes and used several plumbers and no one has even come close to the experience we had with Mike, he is honest, finds the problem, doesn't try to upsell you, at all!! Hence his profile on his website of why he started his own plumbing business. He charged us a very fair amount and above all is pleasant to work with. This is absolutely the plumbing company one should use... Thank you, Mike.

I highly recommend Mike! I found him on yelp and couldn't be happier since I have used a few plumbers in the past that I wouldn't hire again. My tub water was draining very slow, so I asked him to come fix it and he did. He was very professional and did a great job. The prices are very reasonable as well. I really like the way Mike runs his business. He was on time and quickly solved my plumbing problem. The kitchen sink was backed up somewhere between the kitchen and the street. It was a relatively simple clean-out job, and he didn't make it more complicated than it needed to be. He also double-checked all the connections under the sink and made sure there wasn't any leaks. He even gave me some tips for maintaining clean pipes. It's nice to come across a company that is more interested in building long-term clientele, rather than focusing on maximizing today's job.

So I have worked with too many plumbers to now truly appreciate REALLY good plumbers. If you want true, GOOD-Quality work, than this guy is the one for you. My plumbing was soooooo messed up from a previous re-pipe that went so horribly wrong. I have had at least 5 plumbers through my first year of home-owners warranty, another 5 just getting ridiculous assessment charges with no real help. Finally getting a full re-pipe only to be swindled, have mold, get super sick and having to redo my freshly re-modeled kitchen from mold. Then, I had a friend give me MYGUY Plumbing number. I've used him 3 to 4 times now and I can honestly say, I am soooo relieved. Finally! Someone who KNOWS plumbing, I mean really knows plumbing. And is genuinely wanting to help. The previous re-pipe guys did such a WEIRD job that I could not understand what Mike was trying to explain that they did. I literally made him explain it to me like 10 times. I think he was quite boggled by why they did what they did too, to be honest. But he was very, very patient with me. My husband even liked him and my husband is so jaded by shady plumbers, he is NOT nice to them. Halfway through the work, Mike actually realized that the issue was bigger and worse than it already was. He spent more work and more material. The past plumbers always would then start to quote more and ask for more money. Most of them didn't even talk about money until the job was done and would give some bullcrap reason why their bill was so high. But Mike stuck to the original quote he stated, and didn't ask anything more from me. MIND BLOWN! I was not expecting that. I read previous reviews and I was wondering why some people thought his prices were high. The guy that I had assess my house before MYGUY came out did much less work and asked for double what MuyGuy asked for just for an assessment! If there is any negative to this guy, I would say he could use a secretary. When he's on a job, he is very clear that he is on a project and leaves voicemails for when he would even start taking phone calls, I think he does check e-mails though. He is always very clear of the dates that he will start to be available. I think that's his philosophy on work? Not sure. That was fine for me. The only thing was when I had a question about whether he would prefer me to demolition the cabinets before he started and if that would cut cost or make it easier for him, he is hard to reach about little details about future jobs. He had already e-mailed back about when he could actually do the repiping for me. He ended up being fine without the demolition but it was kind of hard to ask him questions about a job if he was working a project currently. Again, it was so minor, and i was only asking him for his convenience, not mine. But when I asked if he would not mind being recorded even about his finding, he was totally fine about it. I am currently in a lawsuit so that was a big deal in my lawyer's eyes. She said, the fact that he didn't mind at all that he was being recorded means he's definitely honest. So it was between him and another piping company, but my lawyer pretty much told me to go with this one since he seems super honest. Although I've used him enough to know that.

We needed help setting up a sink in our garage. We had multiple quotes, with couple plumbers wanting to open the wall and do new pipes. I get that for the inside, but it's the back wall of a garage, come on! Mike from MyGuy came, gave a reasonable quote and did everything required in a few hours. We had an air conditioning and heating system replaced, $7500 later we noticed our hot water did not get hot unless the heater was turned on for a few minutes. Seaside Air came out twice and said it was the thermostat. We called Michael from my guy plumbing, it took him less than 10 Minutes to tell us what the problem was, not the thermostat, Seaside Air needed to put in a new valve. We could not believe that he solved this problem so quick and Seaside Air had no clue. Mike didn't want any money, he said it was on him. My husband gave him a small tip, another plumber would have charged us minimum $100. An honest plumber, what a delight.

I had a pin hole leak and called Mike Diamond. They did a repair. After the fact i thought about what i was charged and felt ripped off. The quality was not the best either. I had to have the wall dried and through that discover another small leak. a few inches away from Original. To verify my gut and checked Yelp. My Guy came up and i gave him a call. Mike told me a fair estimate over the phone and came out the same day. Fixed the leak and replaced the other plumbers work. Did a great job at a third of the price. My Guy is my new guy to go to and i think you should to if you are in need!!

I found Mike on Yelp after dealing with an unscrupulous and clueless, rip-off plumbing outfit based in Irvine. That said, it was a tremendous pleasure to work with Mike after dealing with those other jokers. Mike is polite, helpful, reliable, clean, reasonable and really knows his stuff. He is a perfectionist - which I really appreciate - and he doesn't cut corners. He came into a difficult situation I was dealing with in my condo - a leak in my unit was ruining my neighbor's ceiling, light fixtures, etc. and he performed the necessary repairs in a timely manner at a reasonable cost. I also had Mike out to my house to look at some leaky hose bibs and he repaired them very quickly without even charging me for the fix. He's a great guy and I highly recommend him! I don't plan to use anyone but Mike for my plumbing needs as long as he's in business in this area. I will be sure to recommend him to my friends and business associates whenever I'm asked if I know a good plumber.

After what appeared to be an unsuccessful DIY plumbing job, I called mike, the owner, to come over and re-do the pipes leading to our bathroom vanity. Mike inspected the pipes and gave his honest opinion that everything was fine as is. This saved us hundreds of dollars. He was very professional and polite to my wife, reasonably priced, and on time. Mike and his company are top notch! We have used them since they opened and have never been disapointed. He is super friendly and very professional. I called him at 8am this morning and he was at my house to fix my leaking shower by 11am. He fixed the problem quickly and I don't expect to have another issue with that darn shower head (that mistakenly my husband installed). They have great prices and are always willing to help quickly. I DEF. reccomend MyGuy for any future plumbing problems. In fact I have already reffered him to 2 neighbors and a couple of girlfriends.

Mike is as nice and professional as they come. I found him a few months ago on Yelp when my garbage disposal broke down. Quick, efficient and fair pricing. I then decided to have my aging water heater replaced. Another fantastic job. My water heater is in a closet on my upstairs balcony. Mike covered my carpet, wrapped the old water heater in a blanket and got it out of my house without a single drop of water or dirt touching my home. I then used him to install all new fixtures and a bathtub in my guest bath. Another beautiful job. He will start on my master bath this week. Cannot say enough good things about him during my insane remodeling where all other contractors have let me down, Mike kept me sane and helped resolve many problems. Thank you Mike!

I had contacted Mike from MyGuy Plumbing to help fix a dripping bathroom faucet in our home after finding him on Yelp. I wasn't disappointed. He was the third bid -- Clay from Chick's Plumbing stated that we probably need to replace the entire sink since it was old and that he would do it for $400. I said, No thanks. Mike said it likely just needs a new washer and replaced it quickly and for a very reasonable price. Plus, he guarantees all his work! So, if the faucet ever starts to drip again, he would be back to replace it.

Based on this fantastic experience, I had Mike come back out for a bigger project... installing the Halo 5 Water Treatment System for our entire house. This was something I thoroughly researched and decided MyGuy Plumbing was who I wanted to install it. Mike came out, took his time installing it, and did a great job. I didn't make it easy for him -- there was a small gate he needed to step over as he went back and forth in our backyard (we have a small tortoise habitat)... doing that repeatedly in 90+ degree heat couldn't have been easy. Not only that, I had to leave the house while he was still installing it but he was very accommodating and said that he would happily leave the warranty information with me along with the work order.when he was done.

i am, once again, very impressed with Mike and his work. He will be the first I call for any future plumbing needs.

OK, Murphy's Law, if anything can go wrong, it will. I was struggling for a job interview at this COVID-19 crisis moment, while the water pipe connecting meter to my unit main valve got a leak. I pulled out a list of plumbers from my friends' recommendation and called them one by one. Guess what? Though they provided many advice or solutions, no one could gain my trust enough to start the job. I found MyGuy Plumbing at Yelp. I made the call and it was a prompt reply with free on-site evaluation. The guy showed up was very professional, with all the right tools to diagnose the problem. The solution they provided was sound and considerate of my needs, so I made my decision to use MyGuy.
On the scheduled day, the team arrived on time, again with all the right tools to work on it. I cannot say more good things about my experience. They just knew what they were doing, quick and accurate. I took a few photos of the work site and after-fix. I am very satisfied with MyGuy and would certainly recommend it to my friends. Mike was awesome! He was honest, hardworking, and affordable, which are some of the most important qualities in service providers.

Yesterday, I called MyGuy Plumbing after seeing all of the five star Yelp reviews area and left a voicemail about a water heater issue at a rental house of mine. Mike called back promptly and we discussed him coming out to the home to assess the situation.
Today, Mike arrived on time to the rental property and assessed the water heater issue. He brought the parts on the truck for a repair and said that if needed he could go get the water heater. Mike recommended that I do a repair this time instead of a replacement unit since I could hopefully get three more years out of my current heater and there was no leakage or rust.

I was so happy that he was honest and affordable. I will be using Mike with MyGuy Plumbing for all of my rental houses now!

Excellent service! I called Mike after-hours regarding what I suspected was the beginning of a slab leak. My call was returned at 8am the following morning and Mike confirmed a slab leak by 10am. I waited to post my review until I had needed to call Michael out a few times. Since I'm doing a renovations from a new home purchase, I was bound to find things that needed fixing. I found My Guy Plumbing and Mike from here on yelp.
First off, I have to say I'm very glad I found him. My first visit from him was punctual, professional, and courteous. He listened to my issues, went to his car, made me a quote for both issues,and then proceeded to work with me on what priorities I had on getting them repaired. When I put one off till later, he didn't make me feel like I was somehow losing him money. Instead, he looked forward to when we would do the bathroom renovations that would include those additional terms. He very quickly fixed my leaky shower knob with a new, top of the line for that styles, and did it FAST. When. Mike left that night, I was completely satisfied, not feeling at all taken advantage of, and really felt I was dealing with a comparable, sane price. And damn did he do good work!
The second time I called Mike on a weekday morning (can't remember which now,but I don't think it's important.) with two different leaks. One from a washer/dryer hook up. The second from a dishwasher install that I guess went smoothly, but found a few old feeder line issues. I called Mike, and he was able to make me an appointment for that day. Awesome.
About 45 minutes after he was suppose to arrive, I got a call from him that he hadn't forgotten me, and would be with me as soon as he could finish up this one job that ended up taking more than he expected. If you've EVER done some home improvement, you know that some things take more (unexpected) time than others, and since I had no schedule to worry about, it was no big deal to me. He ended up making it to our condo approximately 3 hours late. He was instantly apologetic, and anxious to get started for me. Within 10 minutes, both of my issues were resolved. When I tried to pay him, I was informed it was free this time. He'd been running late all day, and with such a simple issue, he wanted to take care of me. He said to just remember him when my hubby and I do our bathroom remodels. He'll also be on our list for when we remodel the kitchen.
The simple facts that he always looked out for me price wise, the gave me a free service because he got too behind... I have a lot of respect for this hard working plumber. He will always be my first call, as well as my first recommendation.
I would love to see this family run small business take off.

I found this plumber via the fantastic ratings he has on Yelp. I needed a couple of small jobs done, so I gave him a call. In fact I called him 3X and even filled out his online service request form. You would think a plumber with this type of rating would respond, even if the job is to small or he just doesn't have time. I never even got a courtesy call or reply email. He may be a great plumber, but his customer service (i.e. answering/returning calls/emails) certainly does not deserve the same rating! He may be Your Guy, but he's not going to be My Guy!

A slab leak!!!! We were horrified with the possibilities and potential cost. Our home warranty sent a plumber from Anaheim and he confirmed the leak. Got us $400 cash out and quoted up to $2800 for the repair plus $450 for the search. I checked yelp! and the dispatched plumber was iffy.
I found Mike and his website was very well presented. Yelp! reviews great except for one, and his response to that review was very admirable. It sold me on MyGuy and I scheduled an appointment. We were pleased beyond words. His quote was fantastic. His explanation was clear and logical. His final cost was under budget !! When does that ever happen ? Slab leaks are so common in our development and Mike will be recommended to everyone we talk to !! He took the fear out of the repair process. You will not be disappointed.

If I could give him more stars I would! I had a different plumber come out earlier who thought it was a slab leak but would have to charge $325 for the detection. Mike came out and did a test for free and determined it was not a slab leak. He was able to find a leak from the dishwasher. He changed out a line, checked again and still saw a leak from the actual dishwasher. Upon finding that, he didn't charge at all for the time he spent at my home! Who does that!!! So honest and amazing! Thank you MY GUY!

Mike is my HERO!!!!!!!!! I've never had better customer service from ANY vendor of ANY kind. He is professional, timely, informative and CLEAN. I love how he takes the time to explain his findings and offer suggestions to avoid further complications. He had the horrific job of snaking the clean-out on a 60 year old sewer pipe. When he pulled up a chunk of pipe and a tangle of roots, he was quick to explain the potential long-term issues with the WWII-era piping material known as Orangeburg. He also proposed a treatment of RootX to mitigate more root damage. He cleaned up the job site and even hauled away the offensive sludge in his own vehicle. All with a smile on his face. :)

Mike has won me over and I'm a customer for life. I even asked for a stack of business cards before he left so I can share him with all my friends. Mike is THE BEST!!!

After having another plumber flake on me the day before, mike made it to my house the same day I contacted him and he was on time and finished installing a reverse osmosis system in my home in under an hour. Had a leak in my Condo wall. Called on My Guy Mike and he scoped location of leak in about 5 minutes. Gave me an estimate that was very reasonable. Opened the wall and repaired it in about 20 minutes. Cleaned the whole area really well too. Even helped out the drywall back. He explained the options to fix my leak and let me choose. What I like about My Guy is he didn't try to sell me anything. He was like Seal Team 6...in and out and got the job done right and fast. Very satisfied. I needed a new water heater - so I went to Home Depot and bought one and used their installation service. They sent out a guy from a local company to perform the install. He did a good job with the installation. However, he told me I needed a new pressure regulator valve and offered to install one for $360. That seemed ridiculously high priced to me, so I declined. I then searched Yelp for local plumbers and found Mike from MyGuy Plumbing. He showed up on time, did a great job, and charged $185 for the install (parts and labor). As I told Mike as he left - you have won all my plumbing business going forward. Nice to see there are still craftsmen that will do an honest job for honest pay and not gouge their customers.

I had a hot water leak from one of the copper pipes in the wall in our kitchen. I contacted Mike after a recommendation from a friend. He proposed two ways we could fix the problem, and both quotes were reasonably priced. He and Ted are very professional, arrived on time, and cleaned up nicely when they finished. No surprises when I wrote the check. Hot water has been restored and I've since recommended him to two other people. Hopefully, I've seen the last of any plumbing problems for a while, but should I need a plumber in the future, I'm definitely calling Mike!

I called Mike at 10 pm because I had come home to a plumbing leak and his website said his business is 24/7. He didn't call me back till 8:15 the next morning, saying that his phone wasn't working properly. He came over at 10, and within an hour, or maybe as long as 1.5 hours, he had diagnosed a slab leak, which he capped off. He said he would come back the following day to run a new line in place of the one that had been sealed off. He told me it would take him about 7 hours. I wasn't home but it was taken care of the next day and the work seems to have been done well.

I was pretty shocked at the bill that he gave me. It was $225 for the leak detection and $2,200 for the rest of the work and materials (not itemized). He told me that he had to buy the whole spool (or however it comes packaged) of copper pipe instead of just the small amount I needed, and so materials cost him $800. I wonder what he did with the materials I paid for that he didn't use on my job. The remaining $1,400 was for seven hours of labor at $200/hour.

I talked to two other plumbers in Irvine and Newport Beach about the work and they gave me estimates over the phone based on what I told them (they didn't actually visit the site). I got a third plumber from Costa Mesa to come over, look the work over, and write a comparable estimate. He confirmed that the work looked fine.

All four of the plumbers were very close on the leak detection charges. The three plumbers I contacted all said that materials would cost less than $100. Hourly rates varied from $75 to $90. The other three plumbers came in at approximately $1,100, $1,200 and $1,300 for the job. The one who visited the site and wrote an estimate said that if he tried really hard he might be able to get all the way up to $1,500.

I discussed it with Mike and he stood by the amount he had paid for materials and his billing rates, saying that they reflect the costs and rates in the industry locally. However, he agreed to accept a significantly lower amount of money in full payment.

Although Mike seems knowledgeable and capable, I would get comparable estimates before I used his services in the future.

I needed to get someone to help me finish what I started. It started as a simple fridge ice maker line connection and discovered a worn out fitting that began to leak. I was uncomfortable with re-soldering a joint and it was in an area that was critical to get it right. I needed the water turned back on so I decided to hang up my DIY hat and call in the pros to get it done quickly and correctly.

First highly rated plumbing company I found on yelp didnt call back...so within an hour I called Mike at MyGuy Plumbing. He returned my call within 30 minutes and said he can be at my house in 45mins. Now that's service!

Mike came, fixed, tested and conquered within an hour. He was also able to test my water pressure and gave honest suggestions for other areas of concerns we had for our new house.

You can tell that he's not like all the other sleazy plumbers out there. He's a stand up and honest guy that I am happy to use again.

Honest, Reliable, Fantastic work for extremely fair prices.

We needed a water treatment solution in a bad way due to very hard water and scaling issues. Mike was very quick to respond and recommended the Halo system. He was able to come out within 2 days to do the install which took about 5 hours (which is what was quoted) he fixed a couple other small issues for us an included that in the price for the system. Looked for plumbers on YELP - went with Mike due to the fab reviews - and yes - he is the REAL DEAL. Called for a new gas line for new oven and to fix leak in master bedroom shower. Able to fit me in on Monday the 3. Very reasonable price - work finished. Only snag was that the pilot light went out in the water heater, and that wasn't discovered until early next morning by hubby - oops! Called Mike around 6:30 or 7 and he was there at 8 am to make everything right. Even added a new faucet to shower and did not charge me!! I fully expected to pay him for the part - he did have to buy it after all - but he said due to the inconvenience of no hot water for hubby in AM he certainly was not charging me. What awesome service!!! Now a week later everything is still working fine and I will definitely use MYGUY Plumbing in the future - have already recommended him to friends. I found Mike with MyGuy Plumbing while searching Yelp for the best Plumber in my area. I called someone else who was listed higher up, however he could not come out for at least a week. I then left a message for Mike who returned my call within a few hours and offered to come out the following day for a free estimate. I am a first time homeowner in Ladera Ranch and we experienced our first massive water leak after owning less than 6 months! I know nothing about plumbing or leaks and was just hoping to find someone honest that could fix our problem and not try to rip us off.
I can honestly say that i feel truly blessed to have found Mike. He came out and gave us a VERY fair estimate for free. He gave us some very good advice and told us what was urgent to fix and what was not. He then came back out a few days later and fixed all of our water issues. When i had a question after, he called me back immediately. Mike provides GREAT customer service, very FAIR prices and is extremely GOOD at what he does. I was impressed with the other reviews here and believed Mike might be the best person to help solve a plumbing issue due to his knowledge of the area and associated plumbing.

Setting an initial appointment had taken a little effort, as he appears to be pretty much a single person operation and attends to his work first, returning calls when he can.

I am glad I was persistent. Mike was quick to identify solutions to the issues I was having in an older Mission Viejo New Castille home. He gave me a reasonable estimate for the job and set up a time to return and accomplish the work that would match my schedule.

Upon his return, on the day and time we had set, he and his assistant were quick, competent and thorough in replacing a failed (severely cracked) iron in-wall drain line and in clearing a heavily root-clogged section of the drain system further downline.

He had to remove and replace a toilet to get to the clog, but did so cleanly and effectively, providing recommendations to help keep the drain line clear moving forward.

When the job was complete, other than where the wall board had needed to be removed and will be replaced, you could not tell where he had been working. He had protected the work space and cleaned up well upon finishing.

I highly recommend Michael and My Guy plumbing for your plumbing needs.

I'm actually going to steal what someone else wrote about Mike to start off my review.

I echo this verbatim!
Mike arrived when he said he would and immediately started troubleshooting why my upstairs shower was leaking. He clearly showed me what he thought was issue and we agreed on a very reasonable price before proceeding. While this did not fix issue (it was still something that needed replaced) we proceeded to step 2. Had he started off on step 2 and it ended up being Step 1 that solved the issue I would have an unnecessary hole in my ceiling. Mike quoted another very reasonable price and fixed the issue in a timely manner. Gives a 1 year warranty on his repairs so I have confidence he resolved the issue correctly the first time.

Being relatively new to area this is my first plumber and I was glad to find Mike as it is challenging to find good contractors when you need them. I will certainly recommend Mike to anyone I know and will call upon him when it is time to replace my hot water heater.

Mike and Derek came out to my house and did a great job, neat clean and not too expensive. I had a bad pressure regulator and needed it replaced and at the same time I asked them to install a new ball valve shut off for the main, the sprinklers and the washing machine. All this completed and all I had to do was reconnect my sprinklers. I will use them again.

When the job requires a professional, I only work with those who have been highly recommended by someone I know and trust.

Unfortunately, I did not have this option on Friday morning when faced with two showers that could not be used. I was not comfortable just calling anyone and turned to yelp to see what I could find.

MyGuy Plumbing had many positive reviews and my call to them was promptly returned by the owner, Mike Pisco. Mike was very professional and polite. After discussing the problem and recommended course for action, he provided me with an estimated time of arrival. After picking up the parts that would be needed, he called me again to let me know that he was on schedule and on his way.

I was immediately impressed by Mike's knowledge, clean appearance and friendly demeanor. He took great care to protect the area where he would be working and cleaned up completely when he was finished.

Called these guys to come out and look over a water leak coming from my lawn sprinklers that was flooding out between my house foundation and the concrete patio.

First, Mike the owner and his helper Derek, came out on time. That's a good start. Second, they were very polite and professional to me and my wife. Third, they figured out the problem and offered a solution. The solution was one that would cost me the least amount of money to fix the leak and they wouldn't make any money from it!

Mike recommended that I call my gardener and have him reroute a new sprinkler line and disconnect the leaking pipe. This would be far cheaper than having his guys do a leak test and break up the patio concrete then replace/ repair the pipe. Great idea and smart recommendation. Saved me big bucks.

When I asked Mike what I owed him for his visit he said No charge. We offer a free estimate visit. Wow, I am so impressed with Michael and his company. They have gained my trust. It is obvious from the other Yelp reviews and now my personal experience that My Guy Plumbing is the company to call first when you have a plumbing problem. Without a doubt he'll get all my future business.

I found MyGuy Plumbing through a recommendation from a friend. I am so glad I didn't just randomly choose a plumber. Mike has done 3 jobs total for me: A water heater, 2 sinks replacements, and a bath tub faucet replacement. He is a straight-forward, no B.S., no sugar coat type of guy, the way I like to hear it. All the information I wanted was up front. He even listened to my concerns and explained to me in Leymans terms what I needed to have done. Since I don't know much about plumbing, I truly appreciated how Mike handled working with me. I couldn't recommend MyGuy Plumbing more. He has built a lifelong customer in me! I needed to have new shutoff valves installed in my bath room and kitchen and to have new fauset installed in the kitchen.
I called few plumbers, most of them were charging service fee to give estimate. One plumber came and gave me quote for this job. Which seems way high.

After reading good review for My guy plumbing, I called Mike. He gave me reasonable good quote on the phone. After knowing that I am senior retired citizen, he even gave me senior discount.

Micke came and completed entire project in an hour.

I found Mike yesterday on Yelp. I called him because I have a leak in the ceiling of my kitchen which is coming from the upstairs bathroom. I have had this leak for over a year and the problem is that it comes and goes. Which really wasn't making sense. I have had TWO plumbers out, cut a hole in my ceiling and still they couldn't figure out the problem.

Mike came to my house this morning, was there 5 minutes and found the problem. Unfortunately, it wasn't something he could fix, so he called a friend that is a contractor to give me the best advice. He was so helpful and then he didn't charge me anything because he couldn't fix anything!

My 5 year old son also followed him around the entire time and he wasn't annoyed at all. Highly recommended!

Work requested:

1. Install natural gas conversion kit to BBQ Grill.
2. Install new gas shut off valve.
3. Install grill to natural gas line.

Mike was early and ready to work. Very nice and professional. He completed the job in about 45-50 minutes. He tested the grill to make sure it's working properly and went over the work with me. The price was very reasonable and competitive.

Bottom line:

I was very pleased with the work and would recommend his services to friends and family. I will definitely keep him on the top of the list for future work and routine services.

I got a guy! That was one expression I could not say when I moved to CA after being in Florida for over 50 years. Well, after being in CA for about 5 years and needing a plumber, I can now say if you need a plumber, I got a guy. I called a few plumbing companies for a quote on the removal and install of a kitchen faucet. Mike at My Guy was very professional on the phone and his price was the lowest of the 3 companies I called. Based on the 5 star reviews on Yelp, I hired him for the job. Great choice. Mike came out at the time he said he would, did a wonderful job, quick and clean and now I have a working faucet for my kitchen sink. Mike does EXCELLENT WORK!!! We've hired him on three projects. The first job he did for us was last July when he relocated our water main at the house. The second job he did for us was replacing a water heater for us at a rental property. And this week he completed another job for us when he removed our old water heater located inside our garage and installed a tankless unit outdoors. He is reliable, courteous and professional. During a 90 day remodel, this was the best experience I had. Friendly, kind, knowledgeable humble, prompt, fast, cleaned up after himself...installed a toilet, garbage disposal and new copper kitchen faucet. Lucky me. Was looking for a professional plumber to install a water softener system I purchased at a big box retail store. Mike came through with a very reasonable cost and finished the job within an afternoon. I saved a lot of money by avoiding going through those water companies like Culligan and others you see in those mailing brochures. Buy one yourself and have Mike install it for you. Don't go with those bigger plumbing companies who overcharge customers. Mike will be MyGuy for any other future plumbing requests!

If you need a first rate plumbing expert, look no further! Mike at MyGuy Plumbing is the one you want. I needed a new shower control valve and was unable to remove the old one and ended up destroying it while it was still installed. I sent an email Sunday evening and by Monday morning I was on the phone with Mike setting up an appointment in the afternoon. He and Eric were there promptly. I showed Mike the problem and he had it resolved in less than 30 minutes! Old valve was out, new valve in, shower worked like new! I highly recommend Mike. Finally found a decent honest plumber!! Mike was great at responding to my phone calls/texts. He was on time, efficient, and very nice. He replaced my kitchen faucet and garbage disposal. The disposal I had purchased would not fit under my sink due to the placement of the existing pipes. Mike waited while I went to Lowes and bought the disposal he recommended (which we love) and quickly installed it. He made sure everything worked perfectly. Such a nice feeling knowing that I now have a reliable plumber I can call.

Let me start by saying that I have Long Black Thick Hair. So ever since I moved into my house 2 years ago, I've had to use drano about 3 times and called a different plumber once every six months. The plumbers I used before have come dressed unprofessional, one plumber brought in 2 guys and another ran a snake down my shower drain. The noise from the snake was so loud and bad that I thought he was going to go through my roof.

It's so hard to find a good guy....NOT ANYMORE!! STOP SEARCHING AND CALL MY GUY!!

He returned my call right away, was dressed professionally, gave me some advice on how to maintain the hair issue and fixed my shower in less than 20 mins. And he didn't use a snake or harsh chemicals.

I was beyond impressed by the caliber of his work. Don't waste your time with other plumbers. Trust me, I did and spent hundreds of dollars when MY GUY was reasonable priced for the same amount of work in less time.

Mike was great. Showed up when promised and did the job. It was a simple R&R of my 50 gallon water heater, but the closet built around it made it difficult to maneuver the unit in. With some muscle and perseverance, Mike was able to get the unit in and finish the job. Some other big name companies would have walked away and tell me it was my problem.

I had Mike install a garbage disposal I purchased online. I thought it would be a nice project to do at home, but when I opened it up, I realized it was beyond my level of knowledge in home improvement. I called Mike, he was (by $50) the cheapest. I called MyGuy Plumbing and hired Mike to install a shower head and diverter valve and to install new toilets in my home. Mike was responsive on the phone and met each commitment he made about when he would arrive and complete the job. Even when some failed parts had to be replaced, he took the initiative and purchased them without making it my trouble. His work was exactly to my specifications and he followed my instructions. He kept his bid the same even with the extra trips he had to make due to faulty plumbing parts.
