This is the best plumbing company in town. I had a major issue with a gas leak and they came out within the hour. They fixed the problem then the gas company destroyed the work they did!! They came back the same night unexpectedly and wanted to try and get us hot water for the night! I mean they just showed up WOW Above and beyond customer service! I would highly recommend them family owned, professional, knowledgeable and just all round great crew!!

Stop looking, you found your guy. I had an issue with my shower not turning off at 9pm on a Tuesday and Steve was out within 30 minutes. He had all the parts needed in the truck, and had my issue fixed in no time flat.

He was clean, courteous, and very honest and charged a very reasonable rate. Absolutely sure Hybrid Plumbing is my go to for all my plumbing needs from now on.

We recently had some plumbing work done in our kitchen. As always, I turned to Yelp to find a great plumber with reasonable costs. After calling several companies, we decided to go with Steve at Hybrid Plumbing. Not only was he courteous and knowledgeable, but the way that they provide a flat work rate (+ materials) instead of bidding on jobs proved to be the most efficient and economical way to make my decision. He brought a second plumber to complete the job even faster. The work was done perfectly and I have already recommended them to one of my new neighbors. These guys are honest, something that many Business lack these days. Had a very simple DIY job to change out a faucet which turned into a mess. Steve was able to squeeze us in in between jobs and give us a hand. When we tried other plumbing services, it seemed they were pushing off until the next day (Saturday) so that they could charge a higher rate. Steve was quick, fair, and did a great job. I just finished an awesome experience with Hybrid Plumbing. I submitted a job request on Yelp and received quotes from 5 different plumbers. Hybrid was not the first to answer, but after asking both Hybrid and one other if they could get out to me the following day, Hybrid was the first to get back to me. Even though it's Halloween and Steve had gone to watch his kids march in their school parade, he kept in touch with me by message and sent Nick over to my house this morning.

Nick was friendly, fast, and knowledgeable. I had a bonnet nut I simply could NOT get off my shower control valve, but with some WD-40 and a little more oomph than I could manage, he got both the calcified nut and the stuck control stem out for me. I never would have been able to do them myself. But I knew I could install the new fixtures myself, so when I asked Nick to stop and let me do the rest so I wouldn't have to pay a plumber for the cost of an installation, he stopped immediately, offered some encouragement, and charged me less than I was expecting to have to pay.

I'm glad to know I have a go-to plumber for the future in Hybrid!

They came really quickly and on time when scheduled, and actually charged less when they were finished than what they quoted on the phone since it was a more simple problem than it could have been (but by no means nothing- we couldn't use two toilets). Both people that I was in contact with helped me figure out solutions for when and if this happens next time, and how to avoid the problem in the future. I would not hesitate to make them my regular plumbers and recommend them to my friends.

Let me set the scene. I am in the shower just having put a ton of shampoo in my hair when my husband runs upstairs to tell me to shut off the shower. Awesome, right? Due to a clog, we had sewage coming up our downstairs toilet and shower draining faster as the water came down from the upstairs shower. I was forced to get out of the shower, soap and all, and continue my shower at the 24 hour fitness down the street. My husband started calling plumbers from Yelp quickly. No one was able to come on a Saturday at 1pm. Awesome. Then, my hubby called Steve with Hybrid Plumbing. He was there in 20 minutes and was able to diagnose the clog, get it fixed, and even gave us a bit of a discount (weekend rates can be very expensive). Needless to say, we have Steve's number saved and we will call him first if we ever have another issue. He was wonderful! Please call them!

We just moved and found a leak which needed to be fixed ASAP. Because it was the weekend- tried calling around in alphabetic order of google to see if anyone was available. The first couple of companies were either booked until Monday, were refusing to provide even a price range (come on!), or just plane rude.

Then I hit the letter H for Hybrid. Mike was courteous and asked about the issue and made a suggestion. He had me send a photo of the issue and even texted me a photo with a solution for an easy fix!

Now- I know he isn't in the business to work for free BUT he did just earn himself a customer when the next plumbing problem comes up. Thanks Mike!

Moving forward we will never use another plumber, Hybrid is the best! I sent an email service request around 9:00 at night and within minutes Steve, the owner of Hybrid, had gotten back to me. I explained the emergency situation at our rental property and he told me he'd meet me there first thing the following morning. The problem was far worse than what we initially expected, but Steve took care of everything. He arranged to have a restoration company get to the house that afternoon and within hours the clean up had begun. Because our tenants had to move in to a hotel while the work was being completed Steve went out of his way working long hours and calling in favors to get the job done as soon as possible. He communicated with me every step of the way, took pictures of everything and recommended excellent people to handle the restoration and the rebuild. Steve is knowledgeable, honest, trustworthy and takes pride in his work. I highly recommend Hybrid.

Steve was really friendly, down to Earth and up front about cost/time. He was very easy to work with, no pressure and got the job down very quickly. I've been having some house issues the last 2 years, and needed a plumber for a few leaks. Thankfully yelp gave me a great recommendation. First my shower had a constant drip, then one of my toilets had a leak from the bottom, and the other toilet was constantly running. I've been able to do a few home repairs myself, but water is something I don't want to mess around with, and also the valves were super stuck.

Hybrid did a great job of coming out, and fixing all of these issues very quickly, and also getting appointments super fast as well. They are very fairly priced, and I will definitely use them again for any other water issues that may come up!

We had a gas leak and really needed a plumber to come out today, but were worried about finding a good and honest company to do the work.... well we hit the jackpot with Hybrid Plumbing. Small, local company, the owner Steve is honest, kind, easy going and very fair. He sent Nick out and he did a very profesional job. The bad news is that I needed a plumber again for a major problem. The good news is that Hybrid came to the rescue AGAIN. Steve and his team have been rescuing us since literally the day we moved into our house.

Our latest problem was a nightmare scenario - roots in the sewer main. And there were some unexpected twists once they got down to the main. As usual, it was no problem for Hybrid. Nick worked his ass off and made it better than new!

The best thing about Hybrid is that you don't have to worry once they're done, because you know they did it right. I've got 5 years of proof.

I tell everyone I know about Hybrid. Hopefully you'll never need them; but if you do, be thankful that they exist. I've said it before, and I'll say it again - just stop reading this and call Hybrid ASAP.

I called Hybrid plumbing about a leak that I have had in my bathroom faucet. I had called three other plumbers and all were very expensive in the initial call. Hybrid was reasonable and had good reviews. Steve answered was polite, knowledgeable, and readily available.

Steve showed up on time, fixed my bathroom faucet, with no extra charges or other shenanigans. I asked him about my toilet and fixing that he was honest and said it didn't need it.

I had an extremely small job, which was to swap out an old reverse osmosis water filter for a new one. I tried doing it myself after watching a YouTube how to video. Very quickly I realized I was in over my head and that I needed help with this. I called Hybrid Plumbing and Steve answered right away. This was no emergency so we set up the service call for a few days out. Steve arrived at the appointed time and very quickly swapped out the filter for the new one.

There's a reason this company has a perfect Yelp rating... that reason is the owner, Steve. I had a clogged drain so I Googled a few videos on how to unclog it. Nothing seemed to be working. I knew that getting a plumber on a weekend was going to be pricey but it had to get done. I contacted this company through Yelp and Steve messaged back in less than 5 minutes. He explained his prices and ask me to call him on his cell. I called and walked him through the problem and what I've attempted so far. He explained that he can come out today for weekend fee (since he'd have to go to his office to pick up his truck) or Monday for regular price. Then he told me to try a trick that may fix it and if it doesn't he'll come out Monday to save me money. Well that trick worked! Sometimes you just need to talk to a professional to get that last bit of info that you can't find on YouTube. Thank you Steve.

I would highly recommend Hybrid Plumbing. My toilet in the master bathroom wouldn't stop running and the handle wouldn't go down. I was wasting water, which was important to me, not only because my bill would go up, but also because of the drought. A plumber from Hybrid showed up right away, diagnosed the problem and fixed it within 15 minutes. The handle was fixed, the toilet flushed correctly and the toilet stopped running. This past Saturday (of course it would happen on a weekend) our main sewer line started to back up. We live in an area where the pipes are small and old, and roots grow into the lines causing the back-up. I contacted our go-to plumber, only for them to tell me that they were out on emergency calls the whole weekend, and couldn't help me. So I started scouring Yelp for a plumber, and found Hybrid Plumbing. Steve was over in 15-20 minutes, determined our problem, and ultimately fixed the problem with his associate (roots far in the line were backing up the main). I just had my water heater break down on me a couple of days ago, and Steve was the first phone call I made. I was stuck at work and couldn't come home to replace the water heater. Steve came out and replaced the water heater, supply pipes, and the gas supply. Everything turned out amazing. After my last experience with Steve, I had a whole lot more trust in him and that he wouldn't steer me wrong. Nobody was home, but I felt comfortable leaving a garage door remote for Steve so he could come in and do his work with nobody else home. He did amazing work and even changed out the gas valve because it was pretty old. Steve is one of the most professional and trustworthy people I have done business with. I couldn't believe how clean the installation turned out (especially since nobody was home when he installed the water heater). Once again, Steve has saved the day for me and will be my go-to plumber for as long as I live nearby.

We have used Steve several times now and always with positive outcomes. We had another plumber decline a job involving a gas line into our fireplace. Steve had no hesitancy in taking on the task and had the gas starter re-positioned exactly where we wanted it in no time. We recently had a kitchen faucet that had restricted water flow. He came over within a few hours of our call to take a look. When he was unable to disassemble the faucet because the parts were frozen, he did not want to take the risk of breaking the faucet and recommended that we replace. He charged nothing for this visit. When we purchased a new one, he made room in his schedule to replace it ASAP. He is prompt in responding to requests, very fair with pricing, a good problem solver and a very pleasant person. This is my 2nd review for Hybrid Plumbing. I called Steve who I have used before because my toilet was spraying water. I called two other plumbers first to see about pricing and Hybrid by far had the best pricing. I also looked up the toilet he was going to install since I had not heard of it and it got rave reviews. Fast forward to Friday. Nick arrives right on time. Installs my new toilet (which I love) and fixed the faucet in my kitchen. Oh and I got a few toilet seat. We flagged Steve down after he completing work at my neighbors, we had a leak downstairs coming from the upstairs bathroom he determined it was the toilet leaking he removed the toilet and replaced the wax rings that took care of the problem we thought it was going to be worse than a toilet leak and much more expensive he was professional and not overpriced. I was in need of a plumber and I must've called 6 or 7 different places looking for quotes. I decided to go with Hybrid because the owner Steve had given the fairest price of them all. I also explained the last place I spoke with had tried slamming me on hydrojetting and Steve had assured me that was a 1 out of a 100 type of situation. I was so relieved seeing how that would've cost around $600!! Once I called back, they came out within 30 minutes and fixed my plumbing needs! I was quoted $85-125 and was only charged $85! Extremely honest and reliable. Called Hybrid Plumbing for two jobs (toilet and kitchen sink). For years, our kitchen sink would would cause the pipes to shake and rattle whenever we turned the cold water full blast. Fixed the problem within seconds. My shower was not giving me hot water and I called Steve from Hybrid plumbing who I found on yelp.

He got back to me right away (it was Sunday), and we scheduled an appointment right away.

Steve was on time, friendly and very knowledgeable. He showed me every step of what he was doing along the way. He even increased the water pressure on my shower head, and cleared the aerator on my sink.

Hybrid Plumbing is AWESOME! Owner Steve and expert plumber Nick are professional, kind, patient and fair. Our neighbor and I had mysterious leak in our yards and Nick troubleshooted like a doctor diagnosing the issue. It was like looking for a needle in a haystack. But he narrowed it down to probable cause: Neighbor's tankless water heater condensation line was not draining per City code and instead was draining into our yards creating puddling. Hybrid Plumbing will return to set up proper draining system. Based on their professionalism and expertise; I'd recommend Hybrid Plumbing for all your home or businesses plumbing needs. I asked for a bunch of their business cards to give out to all my Costa Mesa and Newport Beach, CA friends and businesses. Here are two videos of how well Nick explained why tankless systems create exorbitant amount of acidic water and his protocol on how to correct to properly drain. I called Hybrid Plumbing Sunday night after Thanksgiving for a backed up line. They answered right away. He then informed me that it would be a lot cheaper if I waited till the morning due to holiday weekend night. That was good to know. He showed up first thing in the morning to snake my lines. He informed me that the snake was not working. He left a referral and left. He did not charge me for his time. Ends up I had a collapsed pipe. Throughout the whole thing I feel he was straight up with me and worked with integrity. He was very helpful and didn't try to nickel and time me.
The next time I have a plumbing issue I will call Hybrid Plumbing again.

True story: I needed someone to fix a valve that the dishwasher installer said wasn't working. Steve came, looked at the valve, said that while it was rusty, it was functioning perfectly. He DIDN'T replace it (it didn't need to be replaced) AND HE DIDN'T CHARGE ME for the visit.

Are you kidding? An honest and competent plumber?

On Wednesday night after dinner, I discovered a leak inside our walls so I called Steve of Hybrid Plumbing at 8:05 pm. He asked a few questions and then said he was on his way. He arrived at 8:20 pm. That alone was pretty stellar but the service was awesome too.

He was courteous, polite and knowledgeable. It took him a few minutes to find the leak and he was done within the hour.

I expected to pay through the nose for the emergency service and while it was expensive (as any after hours service would be) I would definitely categorize the cost as affordable.

I will definitely be calling on Hybrid Plumbing if I need anything else. Thanks Steve!

I would give them 6 stars if I could. My wife and I have had countless issues with the plumbing at our house over the last 2 years. Unfortunately we've had to go through 3 separate plumbers before coming across Hybrid Pluming. Really wish we would have stumbled upon these guys earlier.

Called Steve up on Tuesday morning with a clogged drain. He took the time to answer all of my questions, and offer his professional advice. Steve then personally showed up to my house 1 hour later to fix the problem. Service was provided in a timely manner, and at a really honest and fair price. Something that I've found to be a really hard thing to find these days.

Needless to say I'll be keeping their contact details for future projects/repairs.

I called Hybrid Plumbing today for a clogged shower that also had a leaking faucet. I left a message and Steve called me back very quickly. He was very courteous and said he would make time later that afternoon at the end of his day to stop by and check out my problems. When they arrived they put my mind at ease that they would be able to fix the issues. The clog was an easy fix for them, but Steve was more concerned about the leak. He stated he could possibly fix it in a less expensive manner than reinstalling a kit that would be more than $200. I gave him the go ahead to try and it worked!!! Steve (the owner) helped me out today when I came home for lunch to discover my backyard had sprung a leak. I called and he was here within 45 minutes, quickly isolated the leak and shut off the water to the irrigation. Saved my backyard from becoming a swimming pool. I found Hybrid Plumbing from the reviews on yelp, I liked what everyone was saying so I called. He called me back and I was meeting him at my house in 15 minutes. Second time using Hybrid Plumbing. Owner showed up and squeezed me in w appointment with old leaking refrigerator ice maker line needing to be plugged shut. My sink was clogged on both sides, with Drano water sitting in there ... After doing several things I read on the Web to unclog my kitchen sink, I called Hybrid Plumbing. Despite having a day off with his family, Steve answered and dispatched Nick to my rescue within 1.5 hours of my desperate call. Nick was courteous, right on time, professional -- and I paid exactly what Steve quoted over the phone. I will call Hybrid again and will recommend them to my friends. This is a tremendous company. I have used them several times. They are fair, priced well, and unbelievably honest and knowledgeable. They are my go to plumbing company in Orange County and cannot say enough good things about them. They return calls quickly and set up appointments even quicker. Steve has dealt with a nightmare piping issue for a new dishwasher to a simple cleaning out the drain for a washing machine. He is pleasant to deal with and does come up with innovative solutions. When he left me off the schedule by mistake, he still came out the same day to make things right. If there was a 6th star, he has earned it.

Given all the good reviews, I was surprised by the poor treatment I received. I called to ask if the company provided service in my area--they do--described my job, and requested an estimate. I was told to send pictures. I emailed them. No response. I followed up with a text. No response. I called and left a voice message. No response.

Is discourtesy now the shorthand way of declining a job? How would the company respond to issues that developed after a job had been completed but for which they had already been paid?

This is an amazing company. I had them install two very complicated Toto toilets. They showed up on time, did an excellent job, and cleaned up so well you couldn't even tell they were there. I was referred to Hybrid thru my mom, which she is very reliable on her referrals & she was right..they are awesome. I had and issue with the downstairs toilet leaking and Steve knew right away what the problem was. Wow. I will never call another plumber. I called him at 7am because two of my toilets were clogged. With a birthday party planned for my son the next day, I knew I needed help immediately. Another job well done by Steve and crew at Hybrid Plumbing. He did such a good job last time that when I needed to have a bidet sprayer installed for my toilet, I didn't hesitate to call him. I sent him a text in the morning and he responded right away. He said he was busy but would try to accommodate me later in the afternoon. He called me as promised and was right on time when he came. He and his helper finished the job in about 20 minutes and cleaned up after they were finished. Wow, a plumber who communicates expectations, is punctual, does a quality job, and obviously knows what he's doing. What more could you ask for? And he is a nice guy to boot!

If I could give Steve 6 star for being extraordinary, I would. We were at our wit's end one night when our shower handle broke and the water was gushing out. We were soaking wet tried to fix it to no hope and ended up closing the water main accepting there's no water to use overnight and possible the next day. We emailed our regular plumber the photo of the damage and was advised the part itself will cost around $150 before the labor. My husband called his plumbing friend for advised and was referred to Steve who lives in the same neighborhood. Steve came at 10am as promised after his other job, changed the part that he has and only charged my husband the cost for the part less than half price quoted by our former plumber. We were very grateful for his help and have referred him to my other neighbors who were all happy with his work. Thank you, Steve!

Steve is the only plumber I'll call for help. He shows up early for his appointments, is courteous over the phone, through text and in person.

I've reached out to him twice and each time, he immediately solved the issue.

He just spent an hour troubleshooting an issue with my shower faucet and he fixed it, free of charge!!

His customer service is what I truly appreciate from him. Never tries to up sell or overcharge for his work and he takes the time to explain what options you have available.

I'll say it again, never going to call another plumber for help. Steve is the way to go.

On Friday evening at 7:30 , I discovered I had no water flowing trough my hot water pipes, and also, my tankless water heater was flashing an error message. I had cold water, so I assumed it was a water heater problem.

The plumber I had used in the past did not have 24 hr. emergency service, which meant I would have to wait until Monday to have my problem fixed. I went on Yelp and started reading reviews, looking for a highly rated service that 24 hour emergency service and was near my home. I came across Hybrid plumbing and I am very happy that I did.

Steve Hammett, the owner, answered my call on the second ring. As I explained my issue, he told me he was out of town, but was texting to see which of his technicians was available. After getting the complete picture, Steve quoted me a very fair and reasonable price for the service. He told me that Nick was on his way and would be there shortly.

About thirty minuted later, Nick arrived and went right to work to assess the problem. Water had somehow collected in the bottom of the heater and the water sensors shut the idiot off. Nick proceeded to drain, dry and inspect the entire unit. When complete, the hot water heater was working. The charge was exactly as promised, no hidden charges or fees. When I went to bed that night, everything was fine.

When I woke at 7 the next morning, unfortunately there was no hot water again. I texted Steve, who responded in less than an hour. He would contact Nick, but he had worked on another emergency after mine, so he might be slow in responding to me. I heard for Nick at 10:30 who said he was on the way. He discovered a leaking part that needed to be replaced. He was able to temporarily bypass the sensor so I would have hot water for the weekend. He also told me the fee I had paid would be deducted form the final bill. A complete surprise to me.

Nick stopped by early Monday morning to get the model and serial number so he could get the part under warranty, therefore no charge.
He returned at three that afternoon with the part, made the repair. All was well.
The final bill was more than fair and reasonable. The service was excellent.

Hybrid plumbing is now my go to plumbing company. Great customer service, honest and fair pricing. Really unusual in today's business.

Called Steve based on Yelp reviews. Turns out 5 star reviews are correct. He is honest, upfront with prices, which by the way, were very reasonable. I had a broken shower cartridge and handle. Quoted me price over phone for new kit after I sent him a picture of the problem and then, since I already had a new faucet and he had cartridge on hand, he came over within 20 mins. of my call and fixed everything and I paid half the price. Now that's what I call honesty. I will definitely be using him for all my plumbing needs and recommending him to family and friends. Oh, both times I called, he answered. How refreshing not to get voicemail and a return call hours later or not even a call back.

Steve from Hybrid Plumbing is not only an experienced professional in this field- but a truly honest and easy person to work with! I called Hybrid Plumbing for a second opinion on what another company suggested would run me about $8,000 (full hydrojetting plus making a main line a 2-way). Steve came out to my house and not only was honest enough to tell me that hydroJet was completely unnecessary for my house since I have no drain issues, but he also gave me simple solutions that will solve my initial complaints as to why I needed a plumber to see my house in the first place.

I am so grateful to Steve of Hybrid Plumbing for being professional, efficient, great and communication and honest! Instead of wasting $8000 as another big company Had recommended, I will simply be buying a few cleaning products and having his company install 2 new toilets for me! These reviews are spot on. Steve was so nice and honest. He came out to check the pipes on our roof because they weren't looking so great. After really inspecting them, he explained that what we were seeing was really just surface and the pipes were still fine. Didn't try to charge us for something we didn't need. I can't thank Steve at Hybrid Plumbing enough for his innovative thinking. I had a slab leak under a custom concrete outdoor patio. I had 3 plumbers that wanted to cut my custom concrete patio fix the leak and leave me with a floor that would never look the same. Steve was able to bypass the leak, tap it off and run a new line without touching my custom patio. I can't explain just how happy I am about the great job that Hybrid Plumbing did for me.

I volunteer for a small school for Adults with Intellectual Disabilities. During my conversation with Steve I mentioned that I was trying to raise money for transportation to the Zoo for the students and that $400 dollars was a lot of money for a small school like ours.
Steve without hesitation said that he would like to pay for their transportation. I was floored by his gesture, it brought me to tears then, as it does right now. Steve, my sincere thanks

Amazingly easy experience. This was our first time needing a plumber and hybrid plumbing was there within a couple hours of calling. Everyone else was way overpriced to unclog a shower drain!! Great customer service I will use them every time!

I've been having issues with my shower drain for a few years. I've snaked it myself only to get minor relief. Steve came over for a very fair price and did a great job. Very reasonable, professional, local, and honest. I'd refer him any time and use him again without hesitation.
