We made a good decision when we hired and worked with Handyman Bob George this week. He worked at our home and repaired the kitchen fan light electrical system, the doors to and from the garage, and the ladder to garage attic. Bob was very professional and is an expert in his field while providing the top level customer service. We recommend Handyman Bob George.

I recently retained Bob George to perform some repairs at my home based on positive Yelp reviews. When I requested a quote, Bob responded in a timely manner; and with a competitive quote.
The first job involved sanding and varnishing two solid oak handrails (one of them was an exterior stairway handrail and the other one was an interior stairway handrail).
The second job involved removal of an old bathroom towel rack and installation of a new brushed nickel towel rack, plus some interior drywall repair.
Bob repaired all items efficiently and expertly. After the job was finished, Bob cleaned-up the work area and made sure everything was in proper working order. The repairs look wonderful.
At all times, Bob was hard-working, professional, honest and reliable. I am a very satisfied customer. Thank you.

Could I have done what Bob does, Sure. But you must ask at what cost if I did? Bob was at my home less than an hour. I pointed to a plumbing issue and an electrical issue. Off he goes and before I know it, he was done, everything cleaned up and working perfect. His van is loaded with almost everything a handyman could possibly need.
If I had done it my self, it would mean 2 maybe 3 trips to Home Depot, water off in the house for 2 maybe 3 days. Sore back and burnt fingers (or worse) from the electrical and 2 maybe 3 trips to the marriage counselor to explain I really didn't mean those things I said and yes, next time I will call Bob first.
The trick is to call Bob when your wife is going to be out for a couple of hours (that seems to be all he needs for most projects) and take credit for the repairs yourself.
I am still happily married because I called Bob first!

Bob George remains our treasured handyman. He has worked with us for so many years that he knows our home as if it was his own.
Recently, we remodeled our home and asked Bob if he could tackle several projects. Bob is up-front and honest with you. He will not take on projects he is not comfortable with.
He blocked off 2 days and used the time wisely to complete a long list of items. One of my favorite memories is when Howard's appliances came to provide free delivery and installation of our new stove. They would not install it flush to the backsplash/wall. Bob happened to be there working on the home when they installed the stove. He let them leave and then within a few minutes the stove was flush with the wall and even with the countertops. This was not on his list, however, Bob always seems to go above and beyond the call of duty.
If you are in his service area and need some handyman help, give Bob a call.

I needed Bob George to come out to my home again to hang a wall cabinet in my main bathroom. As always, he was on time and ready to go. He gave me a wonderful suggestion which I excepted as a betterment to my solution of the cabinet and it worked out beautifully as always. I highly recommend Bob George for any handyman work you may have around your home. He will be back again I'm sure as I am redecorating my home. Since I am a single disabled woman he's more than willing to help me to achieve my goals every time. I highly recommend that you hire him for any of your jobs.
We recently moved into a new house and I needed someone to hang mirrors, pictures, build shelves and fix some loose boards. Bob George was on time, brought his own tools, set up his work area, kept it clean and was so sweet. He charges by the hour but uses his time wisely. Going from one task to the next. I had a ton of pinterest ideas that he made come true in my home. I would definitely use him again and recommend him to others.

Bob has been doing work for me for many years. He's knowledgeable, clean, super picky, has a van filled with supplies, and always on time.
Years ago, I had a delivery and install of an under cabinet range hood, it wasn't installed correctly and was pulling down the crown moulding. But Bob to the rescue! He fixed it and the company refunded their installation fee.

I highly recommend Bob! I've used him both for my personal home and for a rental property. One project was for a garbage disposal repair and the other was the replacement of a kitchen sink. Bob is responsive, arrives on time and charges a reasonable price. You can't ask for anything more from a handyman. I will continue to use Bob going forward and you should too.
Highly recommend! Bob installed a kitchen faucet for us and did a fabulous job. Friendly, on time, reasonable pricing and he cleaned up!

Bob arrived on time and with a pleasant attitude. We went through the list of chores that needed to be done. Bob provided simple cost effective solutions and completed all tasks in a very timely fashion. My teen aged daughter called him Superman. Bob fixed a leaky faucet, mis wired light switches, and fixed the fan in my daughter's room.

After I needed Bob George last week and he showed up to take care of an urgent issue in our condo in Irvine.....I just have to say again how I believe that Bob George is the best, most prompt, cleanest, most honest handyman EVER!
When I needed a couple of new light fixtures installed I went straight to yelp. Bob had great reviews and was in our area, so I called and left a message. Bob returned my call right away and we set up a time. I had bought one of my light fixtures from an antique store without knowing if it worked. He knew how to make sure it worked before he hung it. Installation went quick. And he moved on to the next.
My second was for the stairwell. He had a unique way to get the ladder even on the stairs. This light fixture was a little more difficult, but he knew just what to do. It was up in no time. And it looks beautiful.
It was a great first experience with him. He was fast, organized, and cleaned as he worked. I will be using him again.

Bob was amazing to work with. Thanks to Yelp I found him. He was fast to respond, made an appointment and was prompt to come around and help. His work included: fixing an electrical outlet that had gone dead in my backyard; replacing a faucet downstairs; and replacing a plug in another bathroom. On top of all that my garage door opener was making a terrible squeal. I had Alicia Garage doors look at it twice and they couldn't fix it - however Handyman Bob George could! Thanks Bob, amazing work, incredible response time and fair price. Five stars.

Bob arrived on time and went to work replacing a kitchen sink that required a complete design change to the drain plumbing. Challenging issues came up during the removal of the original sink but were resolved effectively and efficiently. I found a capable handyman but also a gentleman with an all around great personality and professional attitude.

I called bob with a leak in my Garage and no water running to the house on a Sat.
He was there in less then a hour access the issue and had me fixed and hot water flowing with in a hour. this is a guy that shows up when you need him. He has everything in his truck he needs. in Foothill Ranch Bob is the very best you could ask for in a professional handyman.

Contacted this handyman by phone on 01/24/23 and left a message. Never heard back---no response.
Bob showed up on time. Was clean and very direct to the job. He discovered the issue, took the disposal off, got the metal out, reinstalled it. He also found an issue with the initial install. He fixed that as well. Cleaned up and was on his way in less than an hour.
His charge was far less than the big outfits that gave me a bid. I also very much appreciate doing business with this type of business.
He is now my go to guy for everything around the house.
Strongly recommend him.
And also, his is a veteran which is just icing on the cake.

We called Bob to fix/replace our bathroom faucet. He was on time, friendly, completed the job quickly, and was VERY reasonable. Will not hesitate to use again. Thanks Bob!
Bob was there at the scheduled time, wore a mask the whole time and was very knowledgeable and courteous. He had all the right tools and any parts that were needed. He made an extra effort to install a recirculating water pump when it looked like the pump wouldn't fit. It required rotating the water heater, cutting and reinstalling a cooper drain line, etc. He cleaned up when he was finished and took the time to explain how the pump worked, and how to program it. He also installed a new kitchen faucet and made sure everything worked before he left. His price was fair and his work was excellent. I will hire him again.

Bob George Just left my house. Our garbage disposal was on the fritz and I knew it needed to be replaced.
Bob showed up on time was clean cut and professional even spread out towels to do his work.
He finished in about half the time I figured it would take him to complete the job, But maybe that's because if I try to do it myself it would've been an all day project.
Bob's fee was right in line there were no surprises just straight forward good business.
I am now holding on tight to his business card and we will be using Bob George the handyman many times in the future!

We had an excellent experience with Bob George.
He came and replaced the broken garbage disposal in our kitchen sink (we learned not all disposals are interchangeable! he couldn't use the one we had already bought but luckily had one in his truck that did fit). He also fixed our hot water tap in the bathroom (it wasn't flowing). He's a very nice gentleman who did a great job for us.
Bob, thank you so much! We've made a list of additional household repairs/help that we need, and plan to call once we're able.
I have known Bob for many years. He has always been my handyman. I have never been disappointed with any of his work.

Bob George is everything you need in a handyman. He is meticulous in attention to every detail; his work is finished professionally. His work is clean and tidy and he is respectful of your home. He also has a good design sense. For example, once when he was installing some ceiling canister lights, he suggested a different configuration because it would look better and be more effective (and he was right!). Bob is friendly, kind and trustworthy. His pricing is fair and reasonable and we are always pleased with his work. Bob has been keeping our home in good working order these past 17 + years.

Bob George has been our handyman for many years. He has done all the repairs in our home including electrical, plumbing, installation of ceiling fans, light fixtures , outside lighting and more. There has never been a project that he has tackled that hasn't been done perfectly. He is always prompt, thorough with his work , never wastes time and cleans up when the job is complete. I would never use anyone else. Bob is the best. Five stars isn't enough!

The reviews are accurate - Bob is terrific! He called back right away, showed up as promised and fixed my issues at an incredibly reasonable price. Wouldn't hesitate to call him again!
This is the second time I've used Bob George's handyman services. This time he fixed my toilet tank that started to continuously run. He was considerate about ensuring his shoes were clean before entering our home, and arrived on time. He fixed it quickly and charged me a very fair price. He didn't charge me for a leaky faucet our in the patio that would drip whenever I turned it on.
A very friendly, professional gentleman that gets the job done.

George showed up about 10 minutes before my appointment(by the way this is the 2nd time I used his service). I have his help to install a new kitchen faucet, garbage disposer, and a Nest Thermostat, also a bunch of other small stuff along the way. When he was working on the kitchen faucet he went ahead clean and re caulking the sink. The installation for everything is quick and clean, and he vacuum the dust afterwards too. The charge is very reasonable and he's very fast on completing everything. If you are in need for a honest/polite/professional handyman who gets the job done right I highly recommend Bob!

For those of you who are used to texting...
Bob has a strict no cell phone on the job to give the customer his full attention, but as a result he is unable to receive any text messages, so it's best to call and leave a message. He returned my phone calls, and was on time for our appointment. I applaud his integrity and honesty: he will charge you fairly.
Bob George is wonderful! He is very prompt and very professional. I had him come out to put together furniture, hang pictures and install Flat LED TV to the wall. I was also having trouble with my internet connection in my office, so he ran a cable through to the office so I can plug into the modem line directly. Now my internet connection is blazing fast and I can get some work done! He even fixed my son's lamp that was not working that I purchased in Spain. He is my go-to guy for all my fix up projects around the home.
I've used Bob service to replace our garage lights before. Since we were very pleased with his job, I called him again to fix the leak under my kitchen sink. Once again, he did a very good job and out of our house in no time! He keep within his time frame. He's always on time. Very professional. His work is very clean. Highly recommend! He is our go to handyman. He deserves more stars!
We called Bob on the day before Thanksgiving, our guests were coming and we needed our guest bathroom faucets to work. Bob was extremely busy but called us back and said he would try to fit us in.
