I had Guy come out to handle a list of miscellaneous items, such has repair a roll away door, build a few items out of wood and install items, etc. Guy was prompt and a whirlwind of activity and completed the list faster than anticipated (he doesn't waste time) and at a high quality. Guy was prompt and efficient. He helped me choose the correct items I needed. He installed , fixed and was so helpful. He even cleaned up after himself. I will be using him again.
Guy doesn't do mason work himself, but he referred me to a guy he uses, Juan, who repaired my concrete block wall that had collapsed. Juan did a fantastic job at a reasonable price and matched the stucco covering it perfectly. It looks at least as good as when it was originally done! Quick, professional work!

Guy is quick and efficient! I was able to get an appointment in a couple of days. I called Saturday and had an appointment for Monday. He was able to come early. He even fixed more of an area that needed fixing. He's very personable and offered solutions. I found a new handyman who I will be calling again. Thank you

I hired Guy to install three interior doors. He arrived early and got right to work. He was detailed and did a quality installation. He was very clean and organized. I highly recommend him.
Oh my goodness, where do I begin. From being over quoted and stressed out on how to get my door fixed ASAP and affordable, guys oc really made it happen. First of all, he not only responded to me within 15 minutes but also was willing to come the next day to fix it for me. After sending him pictures of what i needed fixed/replaced, he was VERY honest with me and actually saved me quite a bit of money. I am so pleased to say my bedroom door is better than before i accidentally broke it. It wasn't on hinge and would always get stuck, now there are no issues. I wish i would've called him before this lol. Anyways, If i have any small fixes in my apartment that need to be done, i will be sure to give you a call again. Thank so much!!!

I had a hole in my wall about 12 x 12. Guy picked up the phone and came over in 30 minutes. He patched the hole in less than an hour and matched the orange peel texture of my wall perfectly. I was really worried that the patch wouldnt match but he did an amazing job and even gave me some primer for free. He was quick curteous and did a very clean job. Highly recommend him
Guy installed a window air conditioner for us about a week ago. He really was knowledgeable about every aspect of the job. He not only installed it correctly, but made sure it looked neat and workmanlike. He even addressed issues of home security and made sure that the unit and the window were safe and sound.
I'm really impressed: a handyman that understands how to do a project, explains it to you and then does it competently.

I called Guy to inquire about the instillation of a door. His Yelp Reviews are spot on! I had a 42 door on my back house and I wanted to put a 36 door in and make it look less industrial and more home like. Guy was able to meet me at my house the next day. We talked about all possibilities (he actually listened to my ideas). Once we discussed all possibilities we decided that it would be best to buy a pre-hug door and the materials to frame in the rest of the area. I followed him to one depot. He picked out the supplies, I purchased everything. He went back to my house (I went to work) and started on the job. I came home at lunch to bring him something to eat (the least I could do- it was a hot day). He showed me the process- I helped him hold the door while he screwed it into the jam he had framed out. I was very comfortable leaving him at my home. He is warm, knowledgable and didn't take advantage of the fact I was a woman. He finished in one day. I had been quoted $4,200 for the job before Guy, and he ended up doing the job for $950 (including material costs)! I am working with him on a bathroom remodel next.
UPDATE:
I worked with Guy again this past week. I had saved up several projects that I knew would work out to be at least 5+ hours of work and make it worth his time. His work continues to be impeccable. My parents stopped by and my dad even commented on how he has systems for keeping the mess at a minimum as he works and always cleans up as he goes. My father, a contractor, throughly impressed! It was pouring rain the day he was at my home and he asked for old towels to lay down as he entered the house. I asked his opinion on several projects and plan to work with him again in the near future. His service, experience, and professionalism is second to none.

I have been a customer for a few years and they always do great work. Guy redid my garage with beautiful shelving in the past and most recently Ron did a white wash on my fireplace, took down a shower door, and fixed a pipe in my kitchen, among other small things. They are fast and professional. Will continue to call them first with any future projects!

Guy is the BEST! We have a lot of treasured art and it needs to be measured perfectly and hung well. He always knows exactly the type of hardware we need, usually has it on hand and measures everything out perfectly. We've hired him several times to also help us put furniture together, hang TVs on the walls and he's always so fast and has the best prices! We wouldn't trust anyone else. He's the man of a lot of talents and I'm sure he can handle your next project. He's courteous, on time, respectful of your space and a sweet kind hearted gentleman. Hire him, you won't regret it!

I needed help cutting part of my portico overhang to accommodate my new screen door that was installed. Guy was able to do the job next day and for a very reasonable price. I was excited that he was even willing to come on a Sunday. He showed up on time and was ready to get to work. His precise cutting and attention to detail resulted in a perfect result. Looks great!

I had guy do a job for me and he is awesome! He is very meticulous with his work and keeps everything really clean while doing work. I highly recommend guy for any remodel or home improvement project.
I placed a call, left a message and was quickly called back. Guy did a couple of repair jobs at my home. He showed up, was very professional, and did an excellent job. I will definitely call on him again.
This is got to be a joke. I called to see about a heater vent installed. All I got was a run around about him not having a ladder to do the job. How about this for a novel idea guy I have a ladder but you didn't bother to even ask me U just bowed out of the job before I could even tell you I had a ladder. Good riddance maybe I can find somebody who actually once the work. I called this service because he has a lot of reviews but don't trust the reviews for somebody who really doesn't want to work.
Text Guy and got a reply in about 30 minutes. Unfortunately he was unable to help me directly but got Chuck the plumber to call me in less than 15 minutes. Chuck came over and was able to take out the shower cartridge in a few minutes. He took it to Home Depot, then Lowes to find the correct replacement part. Came back and installed it. Now I can shower again!
By the way I text them at about 3pm on Sunday and Chuck had arrived about an hour later.

Needed a prefab cupboard hung in my garage - not an emergency, just something on my To Do list. Called Tuesday morning and Guy was out doing the job a few hours later and had the job finished in 45 minutes. He even took a couple of minutes to make sure it was hung extra securely. The price was very reasonable, and the next time i need something done, I'm calling Guy.
Guy was timely and able to successfully complete all jobs. He was affordable and very pleasant to work with.

I called today to see if someone could come out and hang 2 curtain rod and 3 mirrors. I was hoping this week sometime but he said he could come today!! If you're anything like me the sooner the better is how i like to do things. He was right on time and came with everything needed for the job. He was very precise in hanging the curtain rods and mirrors, they came out perfect! I will absolutely be using his services again & highly recommend him to anyone and everyone. Thanks again Guy.
We had water dripping from our garage ceiling and found out that it was from our master bathroom floor leakage, from our 2 year old playing with the water faucet in the shower. They came and sealed the bathtub but did not seal the end of the bathroom floor as we discussed. Guy had someone come back to our house and this time they sealed the entire corner of our bathroom! I was so pleased with them. They're honest and they do great job!

Sad to say that you should really pay attention to the bad reviews about Guy and his service. I get the feeling he discounts people who leave good reviews because there wasn't one good thing about him when he came to do work on my house only to bail out on the project. Let me start by saying that he was an hour late. He guaranteed me over the phone he would mount my TVs on my walls and would possibly be able to hide the wiring. He also stated he would help with Anything I needed.(hanging mirrors, pictures, etc.) When he finally arrived at my house, he gave off the vibe he was in a rush and told me he couldn't hide any wires and basically only gave me one option or to find someone else that could hide the wiring or do what we wanted. I told him that's not what he told me on the phone and he rudely stated to me that he never said that and he remembers perfectly what we talked about. You don't talk to a customer and a woman like that. Very disrespectful and I knew right away I just wanted him out of my house. I showed him another tv I wanted mounted and he said the same thing and only gave me one option. He then let me know that he had to reschedule because he didn't know I had more than one tv to mound (when he told me on the phone he would do whatever I wanted and needed and I had already told him I may even have 3 TVs to work on) and he had an appointment to get his car fixed. Umm are you serious dude?? Coming from one professional to another, you should be embarrassed. That is bad business and I've never experienced something like this, ever! Just to let you know, Guy, you were on your way to the door any way for the disrespect and unprofessionalism. Pay attention to his bad reviews because those are the honest ones.
Called Guy about a roof leak and he called right away and was able to show up that day and fix the problem. Would definitely use again.
Guy is my number one choice for handyman services! Frustrated that I could not get anyone to change out my front porch light, I called Guy in the morning and we made an appointment for him to come over later that afternoon, technically after his work day was done.
Guy had a friendly disposition and he worked steadfastly to make sure the light was installed correctly. Because my house is old it wasn't the easiest task, but Guy worked on it until the light was perfect and straight. I know the project took him more time than he had anticipated, and I truly appreciate that he took the time to do it.
I immediately gave my neighbor Guy's card and will certainly use him again for future projects.
He replaced our pantry door for us --- and did a fantastic job. The door had to be adjusted to fit the frame -- and his team did it with such care and precision. It fits perfectly - and they cleaned up. I've now got him in my phone so I can reach out directly.
I contacted Guy on a day he had planned not to work. I had purchased a garbage disposal and could not disconnect the original. He heard my pain and came to the house less than 30 minutes later. Less than an hour later he had finished and was on his way.

As a solo female home owner, I'm bothered when service providers treat me like I'm dumb. That's NOT the case with Guy. He explained the work in ways I could understand. He empowered me to make final decisions and was helpful sharing his perspective.
In addition to the 3 relatively simple jobs we agreed upon, Guy went above-and-beyond. He found other items to repair. You know, those little problems we get used to living with and end up working around (ex. sticky door, sagging shelf, non-functional light, etc.) He fixed it all in record time. My house looks and FEELS better thanks to his work.

I needed some drywall work done in my bathroom and garage. Guy gave me an estimate and timeliness to getting the work done.

Guy is fantastic. Professional and no nonsense. He fixed so many things around the house that I didn't even realize were issues. His quality of work is impeccable and he cleans up after himself! He is worth every penny. I am already trying to find more jobs around the house for him to work on.
Guy built a solid patio cover for us using corrugated metal roofing and wood framing. I went with him to Home Depot to pick out and pay for the materials. He was very conscientious about the price of the materials, which I appreciated. He did a great job. The patio cover looks great and our patio is very well shaded and stays cool! He did this on a very sunny and hot day. I felt bad that he had to deal with the direct sun and heat, but he stayed positive and kept working on it until he was done, making sure that it was exactly what we wanted. I would recommend him as a handyman, and would definitely keep him in mind for future projects.

Guy came over and mounted 2 Flat screen TV's and a full length mirror in my living room. He was very thorough and quick at the same time. I was very pleased with his service. I sought out Guy based on the Yelp feedback, called him and we set an appt time. I recently needed some curtains hung in my Massage Studio, which were a challenge due to the layout of the room and not having a wall to hang the curtain rods from. He came out to assess the job and, he said 'no problem, I know exactly how to make this work.' He took measurements, reviewed the ceiling height and set it all in motion.
The finished job was EXACTLY what my vision was and I'm extremely happy w/ his work.!

I, the client, should list for you, the expert, materials needed to do your job. Lol! Then what are you there for? I should tell my doctor what tools he needs to treat me. Come on! At least give a better excuse.
As another bad review stated, he doesn't want to come over to see the project in order to measure or have a better understanding. I believe the review says he doesn't have time for you.
Every question he asked, I answered and even gave him measurements AGAIN sent with pictures. How can I answer a question that is better left for the expert? I know nothing about wood or materials. I'm a lawyer! I gave pictures, gave you measurement, gave you color, purpose, my goals. What else should I have given? This is why something simple became a headache.
Experts give recommendations, opinions, options. Then leave you to make a choice. You are telling me to think about it and get back to you like I'll become a wood expert overnight!
Apologize and move on or continue making yourself look bad.
Again, rely on good review at your own risk.
I have used Guy the OC handyman service on two occasions now. - The first was for a TV mount and installation. He was reasonably priced, on time as scheduled and finished without leaving a huge mess behind, which is a lot more than I can say for most cable providers and electricians..
Today he was here to put together my new furniture and patch some walls that had been damaged during my move. And again, great service.
I have hired several handy mans in the past however had some pretty poor experiences. I really appreciate the fact that he was open to just helping me with what I considered to be small jobs. He was friendly and honest. I would recommend him to my friends and family.
Just be sure to give enough notice for the request as he does seem to book up pretty fast. Now I know why.

I contacted Guy to install a through the wall AC unit in my garage/office. He was great from start to finish with a great deal of follow up and advice. My first unit that I received was damaged from the factory (but we didn't know it until he was out for the installation). He was great regarding the mishap with the unit. He also helped me to get a better and more efficient unit for my needs (including running the necessary 220v electrical for me to run it). The unit works great and its going to be a much cooler summer. I would recommend Guy for any home improvement need.
I posted this already but I will post again. Small job sealing heater vent on roof. When they say they will be there, count on it they will show up. Good service , definitely would use them again.

Guy's a gentleman and a professional -- responsive, proactive, and a creative problem solver. He knows a great deal about home repair and maintenance issues. But if he's not suited to handle a particular job, he'll be honest and let you know if he's not best-suited for a project and guide you to the right person. But his depth and breadth of knowledge is impressive. Guy deftly handled a wide variety of wish list projects I had at my home. He's conscientious about the quality of his work and will work to make you happy. I could not be more pleased with the results and highly recommend Guy without hesitation.
I can do many of my own projects around my house, but family, a 2 year old son and time get in the way... So I needed some help. I asked myself What is my confidence in a well completed project worth? Guy gave me that answer... I met Guy almost a year ago and hired him to build a small wall and move my refrigerator. After that project was completed, I had him cover a fireplace and replace drywall. Next, he installed some windows. After that, he helped in a complete remodel of my kitchen. Currently, he is finishing the siding on my house (and I'm probably forgetting a few projects in between).
He is thorough, personable, professional and honest. He has an attention to detail that is rarely seen in his profession and takes pride in his work. Also, if the scope of work is beyond his skill level, he will be up front and honest with you, but also has a network of people he works with that can do most anything...
Most importantly, Guy is the type of person I trust leaving a key for under the mat. I know I don't have to be here for him to complete an amazing job... As a side note, I foster chihuahuas with severe medical issues and they usually don't like strangers, but for whatever reason they love Guy (not sure if that's a good thing or not :)!
Called in for a tub stopper problem, guy could not fit me in today, but arranged for another plumber named Charles to fill in, Charles showed up right away on time and professional . Charles assessed the problem corrected the complicated system and completed the job at an excelllent price , when he was preparing the bill he asked if i was a veteran, ( first time ever) I showed him my veteran card and he gave me a good discount . Quality operation highly recommend!

Guy is the absolute best. My good old trusty sidekick Jaymo (my dog) decided today was the day to rip off my door frame and eat the walls (as if I don't feed him everyday). Anyways, I had originally called guy to set up an appointment, and when I got home the damage got even worse by my dog so I called him up that same day and he came in an hour. GUY IS AN ABSOLUTE ANGEL FOR DOING THAT. I live in an apartment complex, and without guy who knows what management would have said to get rid of my dog. But, he helped me cheat it and honestly, it looks way better than it did when I moved in. I also thought I was going to drop a lot of money, but it was extremely reasonable (no more than $200). And he did it in an hour and a half. All the work that I needed to do was paint it And it looked like nothing ever happened. He was also very knowledgeable and even told me the process of creating the dry wall. Guy also told me that if my dog were to chew up the frame again that he would offer me the same price which I thought was extremely kind, but I learned to keep my dog in his kennel from now on. I had been trying to figure out for months how to modify a balcony area and side patio -- both outfitted with pergolas -- to be able to contain 2 kittens with a penchant for adventure. The first handyman I worked with came to view the projects, took measurements and discussed the job with me... only to flake out completely. Fortunately, that led me to Guy.
I submitted my job request via Yelp, after reading that Guy had helped to install a cat jungle gym at another Yelper's home. Guy was very quick to respond and to set up an appointment. As I explained how I had envisioned the project coming together, he shared with me there were alternate ways to do it that would be faster and simpler. He was very respectful in recommending a different approach to the project, and he got right down to work. He didn't take breaks or even answer his phone, because he wanted to ensure he was dedicating himself to the job at hand. (I've worked with others in the past who talk a lot on their phone and take frequent breaks, so the work ethic was greatly appreciated.)
The job was too large to complete in a day, so he came back a few days later after Easter to finish it. Not only was I happy with the results, Guy was always extremely polite, respectful and clean. He even cleaned up a portion of my patio that had nothing to do with the project! He wanted to make sure that he went a step beyond what was expected, because he takes his work very seriously.
I very strongly recommend calling Guy for handy work needed around your home. I definitely will be using his services again for other projects. Thank you, Guy! (Bourbon and Whiskey say thanks, too.)

Spoke with Guy today... REALLY cool guy, and a straight shooter. Appreciate that! Also, quick to respond when I asked for a quote.
I realized we had some split roof rafters from a storage loft/attic space in my garage that needed to be fixed and reinforced. Guy responded right away and was able to come to the house right away and give me a price range for the fix. He was very thorough in explaining what needed to be done. He gave me the estimate on Saturday and the work was completed on Monday and was within the budget he estimated. He did a great job and left the garage spotless.
Guy was prompt, friendly and got the job done quickly. Cleaned up as well.
Highly recommended.

After multiple holes in the wall and sweating in frustration over trying to hang my curtain rod for days I called Guy, who responded right away and came by the very next day! Guy is great. He helped me install new cabinet handle pulls for my entire home. From beginning to end, he was friendly and professional. We spoke on the phone, his price was fair, and he was able to come out the next day. He showed up right on time, we talked through the job a bit, and then he went to work. Not only did the handles come out great, but what impressed me the most with Guy was his level of professionalism. He wanted to make it a point to complete the job at or under the timeframe he originally gave, which I definitely appreciated. But even more so, he insisted on cleaning up after himself as if he was never there. I appreciated this the most. I've hired others to come and help with various projects where they left a huge mess after. They did a good job, but I was left cleaning up a huge mess. Guy gives you the perfect before/after scenario you could hope for. By the time he comes and leaves, the job is done at a quality level, and it's as if he was never there. Very much appreciated, and will definitely use again in the future.

He did way more than I expected. I would have hired a furnace expert but he could even fix that and electrical.
We spoke no less than 4 times. He dodnt show up even though he made committments. He was polite but needs to be honest. Tell people your too.busy so they wont depend on you sir.

After initially I did not get response from Guy, he did called me and apologize that he was with another client and prefer not to be interrupted by phone calls or messages. I guess I was a little too pushy since I just moved to my new home and really need a prompt and quality help from him. I also apologize to Guy and he understood my situations.
He then sent Chuck to my home that evening and quickly did a great job to hook up my washer and gas dryer. Chuck was very professional and polite (so is Guy once you get to know him more). I was so happy the work was complete and in awesome quality.
*** I will take back my previous Yelp review and give Guy and Chuck 5 STARS. Thank to both of you for your kindness and professional help in solving my needs.

Firstly, I want to say that Guy did text me back within 2 hours. He did say that he was very booked up and would not be able to help me. My question is WHY advertise 24-hour service and then turn jobs down? Apparently, he thought my job was too small for him. He didn't even tell me that he could do it at all!
I would advise getting another handyman. Guy is JUST TOO BUSY FOR YOU!!

If you need someone to mount your flat screen TVs in your living room and bedroom, Guy is the handyman to call. He took my service call immediately and showed up to my place on time, ready to go. He provided quality service at a fair market price. He also helped me with a kitchen sink filter that needed parts. His advice was spot on, and I completed the repair only after 1 trip to home depot. I highly recommend Guy for your next home project!

Just moved and called Guy based on his very good and credible reviews. The job was small and simple - to install washer/dryer from our previous home into the new location. All connections, connectors and plugs were present and the washer/dryer were positioned in the correct area. He said he is currently too busy to do the job but would refer us to a plumber, suggesting the cost for install would be $150-$200. I ended up hearing from the referred plumber who wanted $150. The price sounded high, but I am not familiar with this type of work or the going rate.
I decided to contact another local handyman who came and installed the machines for $75. Took less than 1/2 hour of time.
3 stars for friendliness, answered the phone right away, gave a price and had a referral ready. His pricing is questionable and definitely HIGH for the work of handyman. He is charging regular plumbing/contractor rates for basic handyman work.
Guy has helped me finish a project at my store recently, he was very helpful in determining how to get the project done the most efficient way. Each time he got the job done, and help me big time in a pinch. I was particularly impressed with his attention to details. My project was not easy, I was worried and sweating the details, but Guy assured me that he will figure out how and make sure I understood it will get done. I couldn't thank him enough. Also, he made follow up call to check in with me when the project was done. High recommended to anyone in HB or surrounding areas to use Guy.

Believe the reviews - We found Guy on Yelp and called him to hang numerous pictures, repair a door, install towel bars, etc. From first contact we found him to be professional, prompt and responsive. He took care of the items we asked for but as others have mentioned, also found other things that needed adjustment which we were glad to have fixed ! The most impressive thing was Guy's honesty in assessing the work and suggesting cost effective alternatives where possible without compromising quality. His rates were reasonable and he seems to have a broad knowledge in construction / repair and straightforward if there is work out of his scope. We are planning on some construction in future and will be calling him - good find!

Guy came on time, actually early I believe, and was willing to help. We hadn't quite decided what we wanted to do yet but hoped he'd be able to get it done for us. Ultimately he helped a lot because he was the first one to tell us we had studs on the outside of the wall, and we never would've guessed to look there. Very professional, Thanks for the help!
Rest easy, Guy is the man! Guy was friendly, extremely knowledgable, efficient and affordable. Trust me, I researched on Angie's List and Yelp. Also, he does return calls! There was this difficult project at the office. Guy assured me he could make it work. He asked me for input before making decisions and explained patiently what was going on with this challenging project. The door looks great and he cleaned up the area around it. Myself and one other coworker now are hiring him for home projects. I'm so happy to now have a trusted Handyman.
I couldn't recommend Guy enough! I needed to have 2 TVs mounted, as well as a large wooden piece hung on a wall. Guy responded quickly to my request, gave me a great quote, and showed up on time. He worked quickly and efficiently, and was very friendly the entire time. We ran into a bit of an issue with one of the new TV brackets I bought. The bracket was faulty and wasn't holding the TV at a level plane. If I had tried to do this on my own, I'd be staring at a crooked TV. Guy was able to lean on his expertise and experience and come up with a solution! Very happy with his services, and I'll definitely be using him again in the future!

Guy came over to hang a door in our garage on very short notice. He did an excellent job, and improvised as needed in challenging circumstances. I highly recommend him. As another reviewer said he is a straight shooter, and he is very good at what he does.

Wouldn't come out to my home to look at the project. Only wanted to deal with it over text and phone calls with me sending pictures. He made the project into something way bigger than it was without ever looking at it. Needless to say we did not use him. The second handyman we contacted was wonderful and got the job done in just a couple hours.
I cannot speak highly enough of Guy, his personality and the quality of his work. We work in real estate, flipping homes and managing investment properties, and Guy is our go to guy for every project, big or small, personal or professional.
He is well versed in all aspects of home improvement and fixes. These include bigger things like hanging TV's, expensive artwork, barn doors, wine racks, etc. as well as the smaller things like towel racks, loose knobs, patches, wobbly gates, etc. He is very knowledgable in many different areas.
Aside from his great quality of work and attention to detail, Guy is great at getting back to his clients. When we provide a list of tasks, he gets back to us immediately and gets us in quickly - sometimes next or same day depending on the job list and his schedule.
Lastly he is not only good at what he does but he genuinely cares - he treats each project/property as if it were his own. He recently helped us with a tenant turnover and could not have been more meticulous and helpful. After he finished with our list, he checked every object in every room of the house in detail and ended up saving us time and money (and headache).
I would HIGHLY recommend Guy to help you with ANYTHING you need done.

Called to ask for help with some anchoring of bookcases and minor plumbing help. He just said he couldn't do it for a lot of reasons- .....not very handy or helpful
I went to Guy looking for help with my ceiling fan light. He gave me an honest assessment at no charge over the phone. I decided not to purchase his services but nevertheless I am very pleased that he gave me his honest opinion on costs and other options and in no way did he pressure me. He gave me good suggestions to what my options are and I very much appreciate that. Definitely would recommend based on my interaction.
Bad roof leak after rain storms!! Everyone busy, but what does Guy do?? He knew it sounded like something he could take care of easily, so he leaves a less pressing job and comes over and not only fixes the one leak, but checks the whole roof and fixes several other areas that looked like they might cause problems. Pride in workmanship, anticipates problems, and is flexible and accommodating. Will be using him again. Genuinely a nice person to work with. Thank you Guy!
Contacted Guys to replace a porch light fixture. After about 24 hours, Guys called back to get more details about the job. After I explained the problem and said I already had the replacement fixture, he said I could actually save money by doing it myself and gave detailed instructions on what to do and how to do it safely. After some trial and error I managed to do it myself, using the instructions Guys provided in our short phone call. Saved me $125 - I figured the least I could do was give a 5 star review for the help!
I needed some tasks done around the house and decided to call Guys OC Handyman based on the location and reviews. It's true that Guy is very responsive and willing to help. Very professional.

Showed up a couple minutes early. Came prepared. I showed him about 7 odd jobs around the house and fixed them all, everything was done with care and actual thought process rather then a lot of other companies just slap it all together and falls apart not to far down the road. Took time to explain each project and how he would fix it. Showed me each project when finished. Everything was finished in a timely matter. I would highly recommend this company to anyone and everyone. That person that worked on my projects was Guy good guy...
I am SO EXCITED that I've found my handyman for life. Guy is knowledge about so many things in various trades, he's a fantastic communicator, and he does great work. And he's a nice guy on top of that. His rates are what I would expect for this type of quality work, IF YOU CAN FIND SOMEONE THIS GOOD FOR HIS RATES. He probably charges less than he could, especially on small job sizes. I manage 3 houses, done large renovations and have dealt with a lot of trades people and handymen, and I'd put Guy above and beyond and will definitely be using his services again. Thank you, Guy. Guy did a very good job for me. He even told me a few things didn't need to be done. He could have just done the work and taken my money; I appreciate the honesty. I am satisfied with the end results and won't hesitate to call on him again.
Called him because had several small jobs needed done. After listening to what I needed, curtain rods hung, toilet repair, hanging mirror, etc. He claimed he was booked for next 2 weeks then going out of town. He didn't say that up front when he called. Guess my jobs were too small. Felt he was blowing me off. He told me to find someone else.
Update: this guy called me twice - left me a crazy frantic voicemail and texted me after my review begging me to take it down. I said I have every right to post about my experience. The good news is I did find a real handy man who was happy to come over and help me out. I paid his hourly rate for 2 hours and gave him a 40 tip. Glad to know there are people in business to help people do small jobs around the house that they can't do them selves.
Guy was very responsive once I put a request for a bid in. He got back to me within a day and set up the time to do the rehab worked we hired him for. Very reasonably priced and completed the work on time in a workmanlike manner. I would suggest Guy to my friends and coworkers as well.

I had Guy install a walk-in closet organization system. He is incredibly detail-oriented and clearly has a TON of experience. I couldn't be happier with the end product of his work. On top of all that, he's a really nice, friendly guy. Next time I need some work done at the house Guy will be the first one I call. Can't recommend him enough!
Guy continues to be our go to person for getting things done. He is strong, reliable, prompt, respectful. Guy arrived on-time with a smile, ready to get the work done. Phone and yelp inquiry review.
I am looking to double my existing microwave as a kitchen vent. I would need to have the vent tubing installed and holes made for ventilation.
I left a VM and sent a yelp message with a photo to get a better estimate. Guy was very quick to response. He apologized that he was currently too backed up and didn't have any one he could send to provide services.
It was unfortunate to hear but I was very appreciative of his honesty and prompt follow up.

The OC Handyman is the best!! I had my window air conditioner fixed by the manufacturers technician. He had to take it out of the window to fix it but because he wasn't an installer, he had to leave it on the floor. I had an air conditioning unit on the floor dripping water, a wide-open window with the loose and dangerous bracket, and no one to help me put it back in and fix what needed to be fixed. I had never used A handyman before and wasn't sure how to find one. I actually use yelp for the first time and found Guy the OC handyman. He had me send him some pictures of what needed to be done and responded quickly with a rough estimate and said he could make it happen, and he did. He reinstalled the bracket, made everything safe and secure, And he did it quickly and beautifully. I now have a clean, quiet, beautifully installed air conditioner. I intend to use OC handyman for any other projects around the house. I won't be searching for any other handyman again Guy is the best. I highly recommend Guy for any projects in your home!
Guy was very professional. I called him last minute around 9am and he answered. I needed to prepare for the heat wave and needed air conditioner installed. He knew exactly what to do and did it. I own a salon so I had him do some other little jobs. If you want great quality he is your man. He charges what he charges because it's gonna be done right. Also he's not flaky. He comes through. I had Guy come over to install a brand new door for a garage side entrance. Guy, was more than courteous and punctual and is a stickler for detailed work which is great! Honestly, I had no idea installing a door took so much work, but Guy was able to knock it out in a day, and his attention to detail is excellent. He also installed the door knob hardware. The door came out awesome and he also ran me through a quality check to make sure there were no issues before he left the job. I even had a few questions about other jobs and projects after this one, which he was able to get back to me promptly.
After the door project, we had a very old rod iron railing deck fence and spiral staircase that needed removal from our back yard. He was able to give us a quote, and told us he would have his crew handle the project, of which they did all in a days work. His crew is awesome (Santana) from his crew was able to knock out the job in a day.
I would recommend Guy for any handyman project. He is awesome to work with and he is fair and honest with his work. We have many more projects coming up for the house, and we will definitely be giving Guy a call in the future.
My water heater stopped working, of course on a Friday night. I called Guy 14 minutes before he was closing and his plumber Chuck came out right away. Chuck fixed the problem and I was able to use my hot water again. In today's age you don't find people to go above and beyond and I felt like Guy and Chuck did that. This was my first time using this company, but I most certainly will be calling them again.

Snaking out the toilet drains and installing (2) new toilets.
Completed the work and made sure it was right in spite of a couple small challenges with the job.
Left a clean site when the job was done. I would recommend this service and will use again in the future for other handyman work.
Well Guy did fix up my uncle's house before we sold it - issues from patching a large hole in the wall to tearing up carpet and refinishing flooring to painting. Fast and fair.
But better yet, I went with him to the hardware store to get supplies - he negotiated and advocates for your project, and knew more than the staff about what to use and how well stuff works.
Guy was one of the only handymen to respond while I was looking for someone to create a door for an opening under the stairs. Contractors said it was too small of a project and other handymen thought it was too complicated. He originally gave the project to someone else but realized they weren't the right handyman; he admitted this and gave the project to Ron. Ron was fantastic and made every effort to communicate with me about the project. The end result was great! So happy!

I set up an appointment with Guy mainly to install a new TV on the wall, but since there is a 3 hour minimum I also made a honey do list which he worked on for me. (new towel bar, curtain rod, hanging a few photos, installing some knobs, etc)
His work is quality and he is meticulous. He uses time effectively and was on time from the start.
He checked in with any question he had before varying from my request on the list, and I am totally happy with the experience and his work. What he couldn't complete (due to me not buying the correct materials generally) we discussed each thing so I knew how to proceed. He obviously knows what he is doing and had alot of suggestions that I didn't even think of.

Guy has worked for me several times and has done nothing but exceptional work. He has offered the best prices and solutions to my rental property repairs and projects. He was very precise in his carpentry skills which really impressed me. I would highly recommend him to anyone I know!!
Guy was a super handy man! He came to my house promptly, removed custom cabinets, and went the extra mile to haul them away. Above all, he was very nice and clear and reasonable with his price. All I need is a screen door install, as a single mom, I can't afford more than a medical doctor would charge for an appointment. He seemed nice on the phone, but am not able to speak for his work as he very expensive.

I called early morning yesterday in a bind because I needed a half wall built onto the back of newly installed kitchen cabinets, wanting a breakfast bar, since my wood floors were going in that day. I spent most of the day prior trying to speak to carpenter's or contractors about doing the job, and none of them wanted to take it since it was such a small project and they certainly couldn't do it the same day or next day. Guy called me back while I was out running around trying to figure out how to solve this problem. He said that he was available right away to do the job!! I was blown away! He met me as he stated in 30 minutes, and punctuality is extremely important when I'm trying to get things done with my 3 month old in tow.
We went over the specifics of what I was looking for. Guy knew what he was doing and thought he could have the job done in about 3-4 hours. He said that I would pay him once the work was completed.
It took him almost exactly 4 hours to complete the job, and he made the wall super sturdy! Exactly what I was looking for. I will definitely be using guy for other miscellaneous handyman work for some rental properties and my own renovation project. We still have a lot more to do! Thanks Guy!!!
Guy is extremely reliable. Was very responsive and made time to do the work I requested even though he was already booked. He was on time, very detailed, and did things exactly how I wanted them. He does exceptional work and we have already asked him about a few bigger jobs. He is the only one I will call now when I need work done at my house.
He installed a wall AC. The work was excellent and fast. I won't hesitate to use him for any future jobs.

Both were very professional and easy to work with. Quickly responded to both text and phone calls. Calls back when messages are left. Shows up at appointed time. Takes care of it for the agreed price. He also scheduled directly with my tenant but called to approve changes though me. A++
He replaced a leaking pipe, added an access panel to the ceiling, and adjusted my slider door lock within the three hours.
Only downside is price if you have a small or very simple job. As mentioned by others there is a $180 labor min of three hours plus parts. I bet you can think of a few other things for him to look at if he has extra time :)
These guys are awesome ! Came out to my business to help fix my lighting, amazing service, gave helpful suggestions for other things. 100% would recommend to my family and friends. Call Guy if you ever need any handyman services

I hired Guy last week to complete a bunch of odd jobs around our house after we remodeled our kitchen. He did a great job and recommended solutions to problems that I hadn't considered. I contacted Guy to ask if he could install a cat jungle-gym in my apartment (including shelves, hammocks, a scratching pole, and a bridge). The set came with limited instructions, but Guy managed to set it up successfully using some photos. I really appreciated that he was able to come to my apartment for the installation on very short notice. He additionally hung a painting and gave me some advice about my defective kitchen faucet. I plan to hire him again for another job soon (I'll be adding to my cats' play area and getting a new faucet!).
Guy clearly had a knack for this kind of work and was positive and friendly. I would highly recommend his services to anyone seeking a skilled handyman in OC!

Plain and simple Guy has integrity. His side kick Chuck did a great thorough job installing a kitchen faucet and garbage disposal. Price, parts, professionalism and educated me along the way. Finding a good handy man is rare. Guy and Chuck are a find.
Guy has been our handyman at our home in Huntington Beach for the past several years. He is very responsive, always on time, takes pride in his work, can fix or build anything, and is reasonably priced. I called him recently and although he was on vacation, he called me right back and sent someone over who he knows. Guy is the best!
My siblings and I are in the process of selling moms house for the purpose of providing care that we aren't capable of doing on our own.
We needed to have some repairs done promptly and for a fair price.
After seeing the impressive amount of positive reviews on Yelp, I contacted GuysOC about having some drywall repaired/replaced under the kitchen and bathroom sinks.
Guy was very accommodating with schedule and pricing.
Two days later I met Ron at my moms. Ron got right to work after I showed him the two areas we were concerned about. About 30 minutes in, Guy arrived to see how it was going and to look over another potential job in the back yard.
Sorry to say, the Realtor was able to find another service provider and we didn't give Guy that job, but I will consider them for future work on my own house.

Recently moved into our new home and frankly, the work ahead had me a bit overwhelmed.
Tony did the work, promptly and the pricing was very fair.
Pretty disappointed with this guy's attitude over the phone. Simply called to ask questions and get more information. I will respect someone for not wanting to do a certain job- get it. As your own business owner you have a right to decline jobs and what you feel comfortable doing....but why the attitude? I will say that I appreciate him taking my call and spending the brief couple minutes over the phone. However, Not someone I want to do business with if they can't be cordial from the initial meeting.

Hired guy not too long ago to hang a couple tv's and my bike rack in my garage. Came out perfect. Looked spotless, no scratches or damage. Quick and Perfect job. Definitely reccomend Him!
I love that they are always available, courteous, and most importantly, they get the job done.Is it the cheapest place? NO. But you are paying for their superior quality and customer service.
