I called Daniel on a Saturday afternoon after discovering a leak under the kitchen sink. He was able to come out first thing Sunday, found the problem and had it fixed in about an hour. He also recommended an additional upgrade which I will consider. The price was fair.
Daniel was on time, very professional, polite and clean. I also learned he rescues Golden Retrievers, which is a plus for me!

Daniel responded immediately to a request on a internet plumber site - for a hot water heater replacement. He came by the next day for a consultation. Next morning he arrived to install the new water heater.  Removal and installation was dicey because the HWH shares a small hallway closet with the HVAC unit. Daniel figured how to remove a side of the door frame to give him the clearance he needed.

His work was that of a very skilled plumber. He is client-friendly, respectful and does what he say's he'll do. I'd call him the consummate professional and his price was $275 below another quote.

I ended up privately seeking the replacement because American Home Shield, my warranty company, appears very experienced at providing an untenable claims process.

Daniel came out very quickly on short notice. The wonderful thing is that he didn't do what I told him to do, instead he figured out what my problem was and solved it for me. Very reasonable price, and now  all my drains work. I'll be calling again.

We were having major issues with my Mom's house in Cerritos regarding the toilets not be able to flush. Daniel was the only company that could find the outside flush valve! After he used his Rooter snake it absolutely took care of the problem! Daniel was absolutely amazing. We appreciated his patience along the way! He was honest and fair! A true professional! I recently bought a new home and inherited all the wonderful plumbing issues. Hot water issues in one bathroom, leaking kitchen sink and some weird pool dump pipe configuration in our garage that was blocking the area where our washer/dryer needed to be.   I went through so many different plumbing companies and each one either gave me a ridiculously low price (we know how that's going to end up... ) and others gave me a crazy inflated quote and spoke about tearing this wall down, having to take this apart, needing new plumbing pipes throughout here and there... all without even shutting the water off and doing a little bit of troubleshooting.

That's where Daniel stood out. He's licensed and his prices were very reasonable especially for what we needed to have done. From the moment he entered the home (he insisted on wearing shoe covers even though I told him it wasn't necessary) to the moment he completed the job, he was professional and thorough.  During the initial consultation (which was FREE) he took the time to shut the water off, crawl under the sink actually fixing the leak, check the cartridge behind the shower valve, even tightened things just to make sure things won't potentially leak later all while explaining everything to me as he did all this. That is how thorough he was.  When it came to the main job he came back to do, he was always on time and in communication about status updates.  Everything was clean and put away after the job was completed.

I've already recommended Daniel to family and friends and I don't normally do that.

My tankless water heater failed heading into the weekend before Christmas.  On Friday, I put out a few quote requests on Yelp. Daniel from Golden Rooter and Plumbing was the only one who replied with a suggestion for how I might fix the problem myself - an unexpectedly kind deed.  Unfortunately, the reset procedure didn't work, but Daniel was out at the house to assess the issue the next day and had the entire issue resolved by Tuesday.  I've only owned the house for c. two years and it turns out the tankless water heater was probably 15 years old and had never been maintained.

I'm really pleased with my experience with Golden Rooter and Plumbing.   Daniel was punctual and professional and did a great job.  He even followed up a few days later to make sure everything was working as expected.

I had put off some plumbing work and finally decided to get it done. I called Golden Plumbing and was able to receive a same day appointment. After researching whole house water filter systems, we reached out to a couple plumbers to get quotes/opinions on two systems we were debating between. Ultimately, we decided to go with Daniel. Daniel came out to my residence on short notice and was able to quickly and effectively determine multiple issues within my sink unit. He first replaced an old garbage disposal unit and then was able to figure out that I had a clogged drain due to water leaking continuously. He unclogged the drain and then had to replace the p trap under the sink since it was damaged. Daniel is so nice and honest. I interviewed several plumber/rooter companies and he provided a great quote, was the best at customer service and gave us a realistic timeline for completing the job. He even showed us the perma-liner product (he had a pipe with liner in his truck to show us what trenchless lateral repair looks like). He was very thorough and had a modern camera to show us exactly where the tree roots clogged our main drain. The equipment also allowed for us to have a digital video file for our own records (before and after). Plus, I needed to replace a slow flowing toilet and he provided me information about what is the best one to buy for my buck! Daniel is the man, we were having a weird issue with the drain pipe in our hot water closet, that was also connected to our furnace. On really hot days when we have to run the AC a lot this pipe would back up and overflow the over flow tub that the hot water heater was it. Daniel came out the next morning and was able to see that there was a check valve in place which one would think would might be good but in this case it's seem to be causing issues. Daniel said we could replace it but he wasn't sure if that would fix it or not so he suggested if I had a shop vac to go outside and see if I could suck out anything from the line. So after Daniel left I did what he suggested and within seconds at unclog the pipe and has been working great since then appreciate all of Daniel's advice will definitely recommend him and use him in the future.

We wanted two new sinks and faucets installed and a dishwasher draining problem to fix. We had used our previous plumber for several years, but, due to Covid, he was unable to help. Daniel from Golden Rooter was one of several who responded to our request on Yelp. We had him out to the house to see the work and he provided a good estimate. Daniel was very friendly and he made us feel comfortable.

We hired him to do the project and he was able to fit us in the day after the sinks arrived. He installed the sinks and faucets, and even gave us a chance to see them before he locked them down so we could make sure the color / style was exactly what we expected. He then fixed the dishwasher problem in just a few minutes.

I hired Daniel@Golden Rooter and Plumbing to install two new toilets for my home about two months ago.  I knew he was a pro from the first time we spoke on the phone.  He breaks down the work and the major gotchas in a technical, logical manner, and is able to truly listen to concerns and articulate a clear concise answer for everything.  All the while he's never pushy and always says to take his recommendations with a grain of salt, which I can respect that about him.

As for the execution of work, Daniel is on time, fast and efficient, clean and thorough.  No B.S.  His pricing wasn't the cheapest, he's right in the middle (where you would expect smart businesses to be) and I am satisfied with his service.

In the past, I've had the half-assed trust me, you don't need to know how it's done guys and the used car salesmen amateur hour plumbers do work in the past.  Golden Rooter and Plumbing is the complete opposite of those yahoos.  You're getting a Bonded and total professional here!

He came out to replace our toilet.

(The toilet has a double flapper and 2 previous plumbers, plus a supply company, had never seen that before.
There was a clog in the actual toilet that they could not get through as well (which was why it wasn't flushing) and everything together could be costly... probably most cost effective to just replace the toilet.)

First off, he was very available to communicate with while we were choosing the new toilet.

When he came to do the work, he first took time to inspect our current toilet.
He asked questions and tinkered with it.

Wrapping up the story, he adjusted a few things in the tank, and turns out, we didn't need a new toilet.

That was already great news, as I didn't want to contribute to the landfill, but he also offered to take the toilet to Home Depot and meet us there so it could be returned!
So kind.
And then, he didn't even charge us!!!
He said he didn't really do anything.

Kind, kind human and really good at his job as well.

Daniel was able to squeeze us in the very next day, and he provided superior customer service. His rates are very competitive, and I found him to be honest and knowledgeable. Whenever I have a problem with pluming or drain issues I call Daniel. I have been using Daniel for the past three years and he never disappoints. I had to use Golden Rooter 2x within the last 30 days and this was my experience.
1) Clogged pipes
I had to leave for the night shift and 2 hrs before work (around 4pm) I noticed my plumbing was backing up. I called Golden Rooter and spoke with Daniel. I explained what was going on and that I needed it resolved due to having family over that were visiting. He said I'm on my way, be there in 15 minutes. Daniel came did his assessment and explained that it looked like a basic pipe clog. He unclogged the pipes and cleaned up everything afterwards under an hour. Family stayed with no plumbing issues and I got to work on time.
2) Leaking pipes
On 7/3/19 at about 11pm I noticed a leak in the kitchen. It wasn't a flood but good enough where I had to shut off the water to the house. With it being 11pm the night before 4th of July, I honestly thought this may not get resolved until Monday. I called Golden Rooter crossing my fingers and left a message for Daniel. Not even a minute goes by and Daniel calls me back. Let that sink in for a minute...the night before Independence Day at 11pm my man called me back!! I explained what was going and that my concern was there was a pipe leaking from inside the wall. Daniel said I'll be there first thing in the morning at 0730. *MY JAW DROPPED AT THIS POINT*
Even though it was the morning of the 4th and hosting a BBQ; Daniel came right on time and started doing what he does best. He figured out that it wasn't a leaking pipe from inside the wall. It turned out to be something super minor as changing out a water hose line. He changed the line and POOF no more leak. In and out in less than 30 mins. There was was no callout charge, holiday charge, or any other BS charge or fee. It was pretty much the cost of the water line.

My wife and I recently purchased a home, and knew before moving in that some plumbing issues needed to be addressed before moving in. We had quotes from 4 different plumbers, 1 plumber suggested a crazy whole knew re-pipping of our place. As first time home buyers we were worried about having to re-pipe our home. So we had our cousin who is a plumber come out and look at the house. Our cousin scoped our mainline, looked around the house, and gave us an idea on what needed to be addressed. My cousin the plumber couldn't helped out because he lived in Pasadena and we live in Orange County, also he had many other projects going on at the time. I looked on Yelp, found Golden Rooter, and Daniel the plumber came out to give us a quote. From the moment we met Daniel he was friendly, timely, and thorough.  His assessment on what needed to be done was consistent with what I discussed with my cousin. Daniel's price was fair and better than the other plumbers we had come out.

It really is hard to find a dependable reasonable plumber. My wife and I feel really luckily to have found Daniel. We had a lot of headaches dealing with HVAC and other contractors during our move in process, but Daniel was the least of our worries.

Daniel installed a new water heater, moved it from inside the house to the outside, replaced our laundry standpipe, replaced our dry gas valve, rebuilt our front/backyard water pipes with new shut off valves, and installed a water line for our fridge. Throughout the process he was very clean and neat. Also, at the end he went over all his work with my wife and I. We really appreciate how thorough he was and how he took the time to explain everything.  

I highly recommend Golden Rooter and Plumbing. This is a family owned private business that provides quality service at a reasonable price. It is getting harder and harder to own and run your own business these days, especially in this state. You root people/business like Daniel's Golden Rooter and Plumbing. Had a backup in my kitchen sink and called golden rooter and they were quick to come out and dissect the issue. Gave me my options and what I can expect as far as pricing and gave the ok to proceed. Work was done quickly and the plumber was very professional!

Daniel was responsive all while handling his hectic schedule. His communication is great and does clean work. He came to my business to replace a new toilet and a new faucet for our sink. I actually wanted to replace the sink with a new one, but he was transparent with me and said I didn't need a new one and saved me a significant amount of money. I randomly saw The Golden Rooter truck today and Daniel came over this morning to help us out with a leak under our kitchen sink. He made time for us right away and was very friendly and easy to work with.  He even used the shoe covers that I love so much to protect the floors... we are a no shoes in the house family so I appreciate that! Daniel said the sink was just missing a washer and it was an easy fix... he did it free of charge because he doesn't believe in overcharging like some big companies tend to do. It was unexpected and very refreshing to work with someone who is such a straight shooter. Can't say enough good things about him. We will definitely call Daniel for any future problems!

Daniel came out and did an awesome job replacing two faulty valves.  He was very professional and well prepared, with reasonable rates   I detected the faulty valves because I was having other work done on my house that was still in progress.  Daniel coordinated his work and water shutoff with the other contractor so there was no downtime for either.

Our shower valve stripped at midnight of Christmas, so we contacted multiple plumbers to try to solve this issue. Daniel was the quickest to respond (responded within 20 mins) and offered the best price. He was very polite and came into the house with shoe covers to protect our floors. It is clear that he is very knowledgeable in his area of expertise because he explained the problem to us as he was working on it. He helped us fix our problem in around 1 hour and even told us how to prevent this from happening again in the future. Best Christmas gift ever.

I am so glad we found Daniel! He helped us with a tricky shower repair and toilet reset. We were beyond impressed with his professionalism. His communication was excellent, he was very fair and honest in his pricing, he was very considerate and left everything very clean (even wore shoe coverings), and was kind and knowledgeable. Not only did he complete our repairs, but he also took the time to explain what he was doing and why, and things we should look out for in the future. So, Daniel just finished up installing washer and dryer hook ups, gas line, a sink and removed plumbing for a tub i removed. I used Daniel before and was very happy. His work is so clean. He recessed all the fittings since the room was small which is a great touch. Honest and upfront the entire way. Great price too. Thanks again Daniel!

I took a risk and decided to hire Daniel based off of the reviews here, the pictures, and anyone who puts a dog on their work vehicle seems pretty cool to me.

We weren't disappointed! Daniel came to give us an estimate said he'd arrive between 11-11:30am and arrived around 12:15pm, so not bad on timing especially for this industry. He even text saying he was on his way.

When he arrived he asked if we'd like him to wear a mask. Super courteous.

We needed 2 hose bibs sweated off (changed) and to change the main water shut off as they are old and don't shut off completely. His price seemed fair compared to other estimates $700. He also did a great job explaining the process, so we decided to hire him.

He got straight to work the same day. He had to drive to a few places to get some parts and was done within a few hours.

I got a hold of Golden after having a few slab leaks in my home.  I had enough of the leaks, so I needed someone to re-pipe my entire home and get every water line out of the slab.  Daniel answered my inquiry right away and came right over.  Daniel was on time, professional, and very personable.
