I have a water leak in the PVC valve that shutoffs all sprinklers in my backyard. It is a sample job but all the plumbers I contacted refuse to quotes me the estimate on line ... except Andrew. Soon As I send him the pictures he gave me a very reasonable estimate and he showed up the next morning to finish the job. He did a great job replaces my cheap PVC pipe and valve with copper pipe along with solid brass shutoff valve.

Saved the day again! This is the second time I've called for their help (we rent an old house with very small and OLD pipes), and within ~2 hours, they drilled through the ~60 years of calcium, rust, and lime build-up and fixed the clogged drains - first time kitchen, second time bathrooms. Reasonably priced at $275 for all the work they performed today (they climbed on our roof this time to fix the bathroom pipes; last time, they pulled out a big drill-rooter to get at the kitchen problem and were at the clearing work for hours and never charged more than they'd estimated). Very professional and friendly and competent. Will definitely put them in my phone for every plumbing problem going forward. THANKS, GATOR!

Our Kitchen Sink had been backing up a lot no matter what we tried from within the house. I called Gator Rooter and Nestor came out within 30 minutes! He flushed out the outside clean out and cleared sediment from within our pipes. Our sink now drains perfectly!

This is a very good plumbing company. Mr Ortiz was very professional, and performed all the repair and new installations with great knowledge and skill. He was very easy to work with and communicate with me very well. Came to my place two times. Both times ended up with some of the parts brakes ( on their hands while fixing drainage slow issue) so I have to pay for new parts and of course extra labor. Very rude. It was ok on the first visit when my husband is at home. But no the same attitude and tone when I am alone at home. I called for them drainage slow but water leaked under the sink after they had done the job. Eventually, they have to come back to fix it, could not make it, came back three times for it.

Plumbing problems can be so stressful, especially when they happen on the weekend. I had a sewer backup on Saturday afternoon and had a hard time finding a plumber to come out before Monday, until I called Gator. Andres and Robert were punctual, courteous, and did their due diligence to get to the root of the problem at a fair price. Andy arrived a few minutes early for his scheduled appointment and politely called from his van to indicate his arrival. Insisted on both wearing a mask and showing his vaccination card, which were unnecessary for me, but a wonderful gesture of courtesy. He offered to place down a silicon bead around the base of the new toilet, as I may wish. I had Luis and his team come out to do a minor job about 5 months ago and was very impressed with his promptness and the quality of his work. This week I had an unfortunate major emergency take place with our plumbing. News that nobody wants to hear. In order to do due diligence, I had a few places come out in order to give estimates. Luis was first on my list and the first one to respond and came out right away to do a free estimate. We also had two large companies come out as well. Luis' estimate was the lowest and fairest by far (multiple thousands less than both other companies). It was not even close. He took the time to walk through the problem, explain what repairs needed to be done and answer all of my questions. Due to the nature of the problem, he got started the next day. With his large crew they were able to come and complete the entire job in one day (versus two that both of the other companies had said). That saved me the hassle of scheduling around an added day of work. They were all extremely polite and efficient. The job was completed on time and we are so thankful!! We will no longer call anyone else for estimates as we are confident nobody will beat their prices and service!

I called around plenty. So much BS... Most plumbers charge what they can get away with. Gator Rooting & Plumbing Inc., know what they are doing. No bullshit about paying 300$ in advance for a camera scope only to get credited later if you award them the job. They own their own camera and related equipment, they own their own hydraulic equipment and they own their own tools. Professional all the way.
They arrive on time, prices are reasonable, and resulting work is excellent.
I needed a trenchless sewer replacement job. That is a BIG job. I was worried. However, 8am on Saturday 3/4/23, Robert scoped my sewer with camera. After discussion with Robert, I gave him the job. 11am, 4 guys showed up and began work that they obviously knew how to do. 6PM that same Saturday, the sewer is replaced and the area is cleaner than it was before.
New sewer, new concrete, and cheaper, by far, than any other estimate. You can tell they care about customer satisfaction, I mean that ! I am happy to recommend Gator Rooting & Plumbing Inc. for any residential plumbing job. Ask for Robert who is an excellent crew chief.

I had a few drains at my business that were clogged from previous owners neglect and reached out to Gator for a quote.

No only were they the first to responded, they were also one of the few that responded with a FAIR estimate.

We scheduled our appointment and Soto arrived promptly and prepared. The clearing of the drain was a touch more than expected, but he worked through it and completed the work as agreed. He stuck around a little longer to ensure the clog didn't come back AND, here is the real gem in this all, he took liberties with my mop and proceeded to leave my floors far cleaner than he found them. This may not seem like much to some, but to me it is the true hallmark of a great technician, something that is very rare now-a-days.

They did a fabulous job with replacing my sewer lateral. They were quick and efficient. The workers are hard workers, they even had to dig thru many many thick tree roots in order to replace the pipes, I thought they were going to have to come back to complete the job, but they did not, they did EVERYTHING in LESS THAN 1 DAY, the digging in my yard AND digging thru asphalt in the street, the replacing the pipe, restoring my garden back EXACTLY as it was prior to them digging. And they cleaned up perfectly, it looked like nothing ever was out of place, AMAZING!! I worked with ANDY and he was nice, knowledgeable, helpful and patient with ally questions, I would definitely use them again if needed, o and the price was fair!

I requested a quote via Yelp a couple of days ago. Andres, owner of Gator Rooter and Plumbing was the first to reply. He provided a great quote and came over the next day.

Andres came early (!) and brought an associate; they were both very polite and professional. Andres did the hydro-jetting and also used a snake on my kitchen sink afterwards. He told me it would be even better if he did both, which I really appreciated. Separately, Andres used his snaking video camera to make sure my pipes were unclogged and clean!

These guys are awesome! They took their time, were in no hurry to get to another appointment, were very professional and thorough, took care of my clogged kitchen sink (and even changed out one of my pipes, which was cracked!), gave me a great price for all their work and provided a 6 month warranty!

Andres also told me to let him know if something went wrong in the next few days and he'd come back and fix it for free!

What more could anyone ask for?! I'm one very happy customer! If you need help with a clogged sink, Gator Rooter and Plumbing is the way to go! I will be recommending them to all my friends and family!

Awesome service at a great price. My kitchen sink was flooded and Gator provided the cheapest quote. I took a chance based on their yelp reviews and they didn't disappoint. Robert showed up next morning and not only unclogged the drain, he put in a camera to show me what the issue was. Basically the oil used in cooking had caused a lot of gunk. Will use these guys to hydrojet the gunk away next time the sink clogs up. Robert was super friendly and nice.

Our sewage was leaking and clogged for about two days. He came and fixed it less than then an hour on top of the that he puts a camera down to show me what the problem was and how the root of the tree was part of the the issue. Luis was the first call I got when I asked for an estimate through Yelp. He came over and gave us a very reasonable estimate to replace our galvanized piping for the house. His team of about eight guys showed up on the day that they were supposed to and worked on all day. His team came in with masks and covered my floors from the garage all throughout the house- kitchen, hallway and bathrooms. They did a very thorough job. I'm so pleased with them that I now have a permanent plumber with Luis and his team.

Andres and team helped us completely replace my main sewer lateral pipes, using the trenchless sewer method. He provided an estimate that explained the cost and possible additional costs. Throughout the process, he kept me informed of what was happening. His team arrived early to perform the job, which was completed within 1 and 1/2 days. Part of the process involved breaking concrete and then replacing it. Once completed, you couldn't tell any work had been done at the site.

The company displayed great professionalism and appeared to know exactly what they were doing. They also helped with replacing piping under the house and his team did an amazing job. I will certainly use them again in the future.

I would recommend everyone who has a drain problem to this business. His team is super efficient, considerate, thorough and delivers high quality work.

WOOOOOOOOOOOW! 20 stars for this company. I can see now why this company has so many 5-star reviews. All well-deserved. They helped me replace a broken sump pump in the basement and they earn five stars each for timeliness, communication, value, and service.

First off, it's really hard to find a company that replaces sump pumps; not every plumber does it. My normal plumber was not available for three weeks so I did a Yelp search. The first two plumbers didn't do them. So I tried searching Sump Pump instead. I found a company that replaced them but they wanted to charge me up to $1700 for parts and labor and they couldn't come until tomorrow.

This company charged me $837.50 out the door. And they showed up today!
I called them at 10 am and they were here with parts by 12:45! They even went to Cal Steam to buy a brand new part with accessories right after I called and showed up at my door with the parts and everything needed. Amazing! Andy answered the phone and I think runs the show. Nestor did all the labor and was super professional, kind, and skilled...in and out in 1.5 hours. Everything was cleaned up, too, and no mess.

Continued to success to this company. I will certainly use them again in the future.

I had a really bad clog in my kitchen sink. This was on a Sunday. Most people were willing to come Monday, but they managed to squeeze me into their busy schedule. I explained how it was urgent because my kitchen was not useable. The person came in within a few hours. I had a video call so they could look at the kitchen and sink area. I had a water leak on my incoming water line. There was a bushing that was leaking and on both sides of the leak there were unions. They looked at the job and quoted me 875 dollars to do the job. I'm a little experienced at plumbing job and I told them that was way to much. so I told him to get in his van and would find someone else. As he was driving away his boss called my wife and said they would do it for 675. I got another plumber and he did the job for 130 dollars. That is why I would never call this plumber company. They are a total ripoff

My hot water tank pipe in the wall had been leaking for over two weeks, and I was trying to find the problem and fix it by myself, but no luck. I called in the morning one day, and Andy showed up to assess and id the issue and provided me a quote on the spot, which I accepted. Two plumbers showed up at 8 am the next day, as Andy premised. It took them about 5 hours to remove the hot water tank, open the wall, replace the leaking pipes in the crawl spaces, and close and patch the wall as before. They completed the job and cleaned up the area within the time they estimated. I was impressed by the work they did professionally with dedication, promptly, and get to the point, no funny businesses.

Since it was a somewhat emergency situation for me, I didn't negotiate the price. I believe it wasn't the lowest, but a fair price based on random research I did.

However, I have to deduct one star because the plumbers who were on-site asked for a cash payment instead of a personal check, which Andy agreed to and indicated on the written quote. Perhaps, Andy and the plumbers didn't communicate properly. Anyway, the payment method misunderstanding was resolved quickly after talking to Andy on the phone.

Less than two hours after I asked Yelp to help us with our sewer clean out, Andres came to fix the clog. He and his assistant used a camera to check where the problem was (the usual tree roots) and he recommended that I contact the city to help us out. Although the fix was temporary, his recommendation is worth-taking. His quick reply to take on the job was a time saver (and a stress reliever, too). I was not expecting someone to come to our home right away.

I received five responses to my request for a price quote.
Gator Rooter was the first contractor to respond with an appointment that was available within four hours of my inquiry. Robert responded to my inquiry on yelp and confirmed that he was able to provide the service I was requesting, asked for my cell number and address and provided me with a window for when I could expect him to arrive. Upon his arrival he diagnosed the problem and offered me a quote for a simple resolution and a extensive resolution. I accepted the quotes and he proceeded with the work. I could give a 1 star but I won't because I did not see them do work just a quote and don't think its fair to ruin a business rating it that way. I'm just rating them so everyone knows what happened and you can decide for yourself whether you want to do business with them or at least protect yourself when you do by negotiating a reasonable price.

I called someone at Gator and they quoted me $600 to replace a water heater. Thats outrageous! Labor does not cost that much, a professional can slam one in under few hours if that much for around $300 maybe for this area.

Being that I am in the Bay Area, I'm not out in some boonesville where the plumber has to drive all the way out with the water heater in hand, I'd say price of 300 is still high not including the water but definitely not 600 double, its as much as the cost of the water heater.

This business owner also subleases his work, he does not come out himself, I was referred to someone else. Not sure if that person was even licensed to guarantee the work. How can you ever tell other than thru Yelp reviews. Thank you Yelp for keeping them honest.

Also the second guy he referred was very pushy. He wanted me to meet him at Home Depot so I can purchase the water heater to haul it back to my house. For $600 you should take down the model I want which was to upgrade to 50 gal 12 yrs warranty, call around for me, get it, and I pay him once for both the cost of water heater ($900) + labor ($600) with invoice. Now maybe with some excellent customer service I maaaaay pay that much but no, they have me run around myself, gather the info, calling around Home Depot/Lowes and on top he has the audacity to keep pestering me to meet him at the Home Depot and tells me ...no, no, they have 6 yrs, 6 yrs is good. I don't want 6 yrs I want 12 yrs, lemme call around to make sure they have it stock for christ sake before I waste time coming out. The worker is telling the owner what he wants, are you serious. Am I working for you or are you working for me?

No, we must demand better service and we shouldn't get gouged like this. Please protect yourself. I think they take advantage because we are out without hot water and that some how they think that gives them permission to rob us blind. Yes its an emergency but not to take advantage of good folks. Doing the dishes on a Sunday evening and, suddenly, the water won't drain. The drain pipe was clogged and we couldn't wait until Monday to get it fixed. I search Yelp to find a rooter/plumber (with good reviews) who was still open - there aren't many to choose from and they aren't easy to find. I put a request in on Yelp Friday, a bit before 5PM. Gator responded in minutes. At no charge, they came over that night and gave a fair quote for the job. (Mask on, even though it was outside. There's another backflow in my house somehow last Wednesday afternoon. Called Andres and he committed arriving at 6pm, and he was on time as always. He and his team quickly identified the root cause: the root penetrated the 70 year old orangeburg sewer pipe and blocked the flow. They quickly cleaned up and also made a proposal to replace the pipe using trenchless way. I had no idea what it is and did some research the 2nd day and also asked some friends who did this before. One of the joys of buying an older house is having things crap out on you every now and then. One of these was an at least 30-year old gas valve underneath our gas cooktop that started leaking gas. PG&E came and shut down gas to our entire house, which meant no cooking, heating, or hot water until the problem was fixed. Our house has a main line clogging problem. Andres responded to my Yelp message within minutes. Then came over just in a few hours. They have all the right tools, snake, camera etc. and removed the roots inside the pipe very quickly, so we can have a regular life right away. Over the weekend, he was able to sent 7 people over and replaced all the pipes with minimum damage to driveway and tiles, installed several clean out as well. The next day, 2 people came and put back the driveway tiles nicely. They all wear masks. His team is super efficient, considerate, thorough and delivers high quality work. Our toilets were overflowing Wednesday night, I reached out for quotes through yelp. Gator Rooter was one of the first to respond on yelp and call me Thursday morning. Nestor came 20-30ish mins after calling me. He used the camera which he quoted 250 to see what the root of the problem was. He saw toilet paper waded up like paste and then went out to check the pipes under our home. After inspecting the pipes he showed us pictures of corrosion of the steel pipes and leakage. He suggested we repipe to fix the the leakages and pluming all together. He quoted us a little over 6k and we all agreed on 6K. Nestor went for parts and started before his team of two (who looked really young though - I am no ageist but hope they were part of Gator Rooter as they were not in uniform as Nestor was which is bit of concern). My husband had though he had asked him the pipes are going to be replaced by the same style pipes which were steel but he ended up saying no - maybe miscommunication in the original conversation. They were replaced with plastic pipes which he reassured us are best and being used everywhere and should last more than 20-30 years (we really hope this is true as we are no experts). When they were down there fixing they noticed another part that for the toilets (toilet connection and it was rusty and old) that were a issue and suggested we replaced he confirmed he could do it for a additional 600, he did both toilets. All in all Nestor was profession, showed us pictures, kept us informed, worked diligently and checked every toilet, sinks and showers to ensure everything was working great before leaving. He confirmed he could get the job done by 6 or 7pm, he was almost exact he was done and left around 6:22ish (very impressed)! Nestor gave us his personal card should we need anything additional in the future, which we certainly will. I would recommend Gator /Nestor to my family and friends!! Thanks Nestor and Gator team!!

We had a break in our front yard that was leaking 20 gal per hour, according to the city. We had to completely shut off water to the house. I contacted 10 plumbers. Gator responded within the hour and was the only one who agreed to come to the house to deal with it. After checking out the yard, Nestor explained we had to dig out part of the driveway, put in copper piping, and then replace the concrete. He needed a team for the project so it wasn't cheap ($2400) but the team of 6 worked for 7 hours the next day to do the whole thing. Contacted Andres through Yelp. Replied within minutes. What started as a sewer line replacement ended up being a copper re-pipe job, partial bathroom remodel and more. Andres and his team does more than just basic plumbing. I found out they are good with tiling and flooring work as well.

Sewer line replacement from house to sidewalk. I have had chronic issues with tree roots collapsing sewer line. Andres and team did this on short notice and my sewage issues were resolved by mid day.

Copper re-pipe. At some point, any old house with galvanized piping will need this done. In my case, it was 45 years old. I struck a deal with Andres which included the above sewer line work, copper re-pipe, shower re-tiling, bathroom flooring, kitchen sink replacement. He went above and beyond by also installing new toilets, dishwasher and the hardware I had previously purchased. Also, Andres' team added an icebox for my refrigerator.

Andres and his team did all the work to my satisfaction. I will be hitting him up again for my other bathroom remodel!

Soto (and then Andres) came in a couple of hours to take care of a pressure regulator that started leaking in the early morning.

I liked that Andres was able to quote me a price on the phone via texted photos. Many other companies insisted on coming over first which is a bit of an inconvenience when I was able to provide very clear photos.

Their pricing was competitive and got the work done quickly. They were supposed to come at 2-3pm and Andres called around 11am saying that his plumber could come over early. Awesome!

Andres and his team were fantastic. Having recently purchased an old victorian in SF that had VERY old pipes, I was very concerned about the size and cost of the job. Andres came over, did a quick evaluation and was able to break down the different costs associated with repairing my home.

Team: The team was extremely professional and very hard workers. They were very strict about observing COVID policies and I felt very confident that they knew what they were doing.

Time: They were able to come out for a quote right away and schedule a job for the very next week. The majority of the job was completed in just a few short days and hot water + new tankless water heater was installed.

Parts: They used all made in the USA parts and Cooper and were very proud to use them. There were a variety of companies quoting based on parts, and Andres was able to break down the types and quality and best inform us on what would last longest for our home.

Price: They were true to word on their quote, and the only adjustment we made was to add on another section in our home.

I would highly recommend them: Great quality of work, hard hard workers, very pleasant to deal with, honest and hard working. We will definitely use them for any future needs or projects.

I used Gator plumbing to fix my broken water pipes under the sinks. The reason I'm giving 1 star is because of their service. To be honest, from the beginning the whole process seems strange.

First they directly quote me a super high charge of $325 based on the image I sent them, once I told them the other company was charging way less then they change the price to $250. So one lesson learnt was that NEVER TRUST their first quote.

Second, they subcontracted the work to someone else. After accepting the price, they actually sent someone that's totally not related to the company to fix the water (not sure if the person even had license). This will become an issue if you ever try to reach out back to them in the future because the person who did the actual work wasn't under this company hence no work warranty.

Third, they never sent me a receipt afterward. I need the receipt for reimbursement so I kept asking but they just keep delaying on send me the receipt hence at the end I just had to give up.

Overall the whole process was so awful that I had to write this post to tell people what to expect. And I'd highly suggest to check for other company who will offer more professional help.

Andy, quickly responded after being contacted to completely replace my main sewer lateral pipes, using the trenchless sewer method. He met with me and explained in detail what the trenchless method entailed. He provided an estimate that explained the cost and possible additional costs. Throughout the process, he kept me informed of what was happening. His team
arrived early to perform the job, which was completed within 1 and 1/2 days. Part of the process, involved breaking concrete and then, replacing it. 40yr old outdoor faucet valve shaft thread stripped and started big leak Saturday night. Called around early Sunday morning, Andres's quote was in the mid range but he was the only person responded reliably and offered an explanation on job procedure. Knowing more or less what it takes, I could tell Andres's explanation made good sense. Promised 3pm-4pm, Andres called ~12noon and came shortly after 1pm. Residual water made removing the old piece more difficult but Andres and his brother found the way to get it out correctly. no damage to the siding and job site clean up was good. I will check on the work piece in the next few days if any leak.

Need to thank Robert for his assessment of my problem. A strong odor was emanating from my master bath for the last 10 days. Robert made the trip out and determined it was not sewer gas or a broken pipe. He could have easily changed the toilet ring or ran a line to clean my drain lines charging me a-lot. His assessment was the odor was from a decaying animal in the wall or attic. Recommended a rodent removal company if the smell persist after 2 weeks. His honest assessment is much appreciated. We had to install a new gas line in our home. Gator Rooter plumbing brothers instantly showed for a quick quote and also aligned on the reasonable price . They worked all day from morning 8 to 4 pm and installed the gas line for gas stove and dryer. The quality of work is great and would recommend them for any plumbing related issues.

We recently had to change the water pipes in the house due to slowness . All the pipes were galvanized and old. Gator Rooter plumbing give a very fair price and changed all the pipes to copper, new pipe fittings. All of this was done in a day in proper way and quality to the best . I'd been putting off getting my toilet replaced after another plumber cleared a clog, long time ago, and told me to only flush liquids until I got a new toilet. Finally, I searched on Yelp and found Gator Plumbing who could install the new toilet I had sitting in the box for many months. Andy and Soto arrived today , Saturday, late afternoon after doing other jobs and got right to work. Upon removing the old toilet, they showed me what was hindering the flush of the old toilet. It looked like a bird's nest that they pulled out of the hole. Well, of course this would involve more time and expense but told them to go ahead with the new install. They added some new parts, added some cement, and I'm certain the work they accomplished is an upgrade from the old installation. My house has wall to wall carpet, even in the bathrooms, and the work was done without leaving any dirt, water or mess in the bathroom.
I'm very appreciative of Andy and Soto for taking the time and care to do such a thorough and professional job! Thank you guys!

I had a problem with water leaking which I did not know where from. Just seeing higher bills and then seeing my counter counting even when all the valves were closed. I called Gator from a recommendation from a friend and they sent a rep Nestor Soto for inspection. Nestor was committed to find the problem step by step and fixed our main valve first and interestingly still leaking was there. While another plumber had given me a big work and telling me that replacement of the pipes under the ground was needed, Nestor after being curious and trying to solve the problem, noticed some water in areas that I thought were due to a recent rain. However he asked if I had a sprinkler system and I said yes and interestingly enough the leak were from two of the sprinklers! A much cheaper to solve the problem. Nestor saved me of a lot of trouble and expensive repairs. I was glad with the service and hope they can keep the good work and saving their customers from expensive repairs.

Our toilet was clogged because my son dropped a plastic toy in it and flushed. Pinged Gator router and plumbing on yelp, they were the only plumber to reply with a detailed quote. That much to do snake, that much to remove the toilet. I really appreciated that they did not need to show up on my house just to give me a quote. So we came home to a slow leak from our water heater and after calling around we find out that we have to replace it. I create a quote request on Yelp and get responses from a bunch of different plumbers, including my regular plumber. Gator, by far, gave me the best quote and could fix it the next day. I even get a call Andres - the owner - and we hammer out the details of the replacement for the next day. His guy was supposed to arrive at 10am, but I got a call from Andres saying his plumber was finishing up another job and would be there a little after 11. The guy arrives - looks at the job and gets straight to work. A few hours later and I've got hot water again. Please note if you pay by credit card there's a nominal surcharge, but they can take check and Venmo. Work is clean, they take away the old tank, plumber is skilled and friendly, and I really have no complaints. Great job, Gator! I highly recommend their work!

I had a great experience with Andy at Gator Plumbing. He answered the call on a Sunday and was at our home on Monday to install a new washer drain pan. We had called several plumbing companies and none of them were going to do this service. Andy was very patient and worked with many limitations of the space. He uninstalled the machine, removed it, installed the new pan and reinstalled the machine. He made sure the area was cleaned before installing the new pan and left it spotless before leaving. I will definitely work with him again.
