Hired these guys because I had a slab leak. When dealing with a company like this while I was in a bad situation had me extremely worried about being taken advantage of. I ended up being very impressed with the honesty, professionalism and skill level of Omar the technician. I felt they were fair with their pricing and appreciated their transparency.

I had a second slab leak about 9 months later and did not hesitate to hire them again. I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

We have used Evans Leak Detection twice to fix a couple of slow leaks and had very positive experiences both times. Ron was very responsive and stayed in constant communication every step of the way. This week he was able to dispatch a plumber a day earlier than originally quoted, which was much appreciated. We had the same plumber, Omar, both times. He was on time, professional, extremely knowledgeable and very polite. He quickly located and diagnosed the problems, fixed them, and cleaned up afterward. Great customer service all around! I highly recommend this company and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

These guys are professionals! We had a hard to find slab leak in our copper water pipes. Omar the technician diagnosed where the leak was and used new PEX pipe to fix the leak with minimal cuts into our walls. Excellent communication and their prices are reasonable. Would highly recommend.

I had water leaking within my garage area but was not sure exactly from where. I called several leak detection companies but found Evans Leak Detection to be most professional and reactive on the phone.  Evans Leak Detection came out quickly and located the slab leak.  Luckily for me they repaired it with a bypass saving me huge $ and all complete in one visit!!  Straight shooters.  Gave me a flat rate price! Would definitely use them again!

I was very very satified with EVANS LEAK DETECTION services.  They ended up saving me over $10,000 when they found the leak and I did not need to have a complete repiping of my house.  Omar and Raol did a very thorough job in finding the leak and were honest in reporting.

Pat and this company really disappointed me.  My job was initially scheduled for a Sat. morning (9-10) but Pat called at 9:55 and told me the worker who should have been at my property had returned to the job site from the previous night and rescheduling was needed.  (I should have been called the night before with this information.)  After taking the newly-scheduled Mon. off of work (Omar was supposed to come between 1-2), I called Pat at 1:50 because Omar hadn't arrived.  Pat seemed surprised Omar was not at my residence and said he'd call to check.  Pat never called back.  When I called him again (2:30), it went to voice mail.  Luckily I was able to get a reliable leak detection company to come out to my property before the end of the day so that I didn't use vacation hours for nothing.  Very unprofessional to those in stressful situations that need immediate attention.  I do not recommend this company.

I started to notice that my bathroom floors were warm. Well, I had always wanted radiant floors, but this wasn't the way so I knew it was bad. A neighbor recommended Evans Leak Detection so I gave them a call.

I have to say that I was a little worried when Ron gave me an almost $1,500 quote over the phone sight unseen (I kept trying to talk him into it being just a problem with the water heater...he very nicely assured me that it wasn't and told me why.) Ron spent quite a long time with me on the phone explaining the process they went through to identify the leaking pipe and then reroute it with new UPONOR piping. Their work is guaranteed with a 25 year warranty. I hung up after our call feeling secure that I had made a good decision and that I had the information to explain the process to my family who also thought that I was crazy to agree to something over the phone.

Omar, the actual plumber that came out on the call was amazing. I have never seen so much equipment!But he found the leak, rerouted the pipe, taped back the drywall, put back my belongings he had to move and was out in under three hours! AMAZING, and stress free. He even relit the pilot light on my water heater and tightened a nozzle that was dripping...with me asking! What a professional!

Again I would wholeheartedly recommend this company! I don't say this lightly....the last plumbing company I hired charged me to move my washer/dryer so there are a lot of companies out there that will take advantage of you, especially if you are a single woman. Evans Leak Detection is the real deal!

I had the same experience before, so leaking water under the foundation is a real headache. This time, the water bill increased by 50%, and I found out that water was leaking somewhere again, and I heard a leak in the roundry room. Among several plumbers, I selected and called Evans Leak Detection, which has a good reputation, and to my surprise, Ron set up a schedule right away. Due to my mistake, I had to reschedule, and Omar, who had a lot of experience, came and pinpointed the leak in a surprisingly quick time and bypassed it to the wall in a quick time without breaking the concrete, and neatly solved the problem. The price was also very good with an average flat charge. Evans Leak Detection is also recommended for those with problems.

This was our first time using Evans Leak Detection and our experience was amazing!  The customer care team was extremely friendly and professional.  The team was quick to schedule a service technician.    Omar showed up early and was extremely knowledgeable and took care of us 100% to our satisfaction.

We were very concerned because there was water pooling where it shouldn't in our patio and we didn't know what to do. After doing some research we decided to call Evans Leak Detection and we are so happy we did!

I have known Lloyd and Joy for many years.  I know Lloyd sold the business a few years back to his long time employee Patrick.  I have never had a slab leak until recently I noticed I was using three times the normal water usage. I had no visible water damage and had two other leak detection companies try to locate the leak.  These guys found the leak (without cutting into the wall) and had it repaired within about two hours.  One flat price that didn't change when they came out and very minimal dry wall damage where they had to open up and fix water line. I highly recommend Evans Leak Detection.

We recently purchased our first home in Los Alamitos and had a leak a few weeks after moving in. We called Evans Leak Detection in a panic and they were incredibly helpful and thoroughly explained their process and pricing. They were able to come out within a couple days (we called on a Saturday and they had someone at our home on Monday) and completely fixed our leak. I was so scared when I saw the leak in my house.  I called Evans very, very early in the morning and spoke to Patrick.  He calmed me down and explained everything.  Someone was out to my house that day and it was fixed almost immediately.  A neighbor sent another company over, they said my driveway would have to dug up and their quote was exorbitant.  I obviously choose Evan's and they shot a line/pipe (with high powered water) under my driveway, alleviating the need to dig it up. Thus, it was far less expensive.  I feel I received a very fair price.  The men at my house were professional and left the area clean.  Evans Leak Detection came very highly recommended to me, so I want to share the recommendation.

Ron did a stellar job centered on customer service. He returned calls directly no matter the day of the week or time of day. Customer service is the bulwark of any company's reputation. His team was efficient and effective saving me nearly $8,000.

Responded and showed up on time,  Gave options and prompt quotes.  The work happened as scheduled,  Glad I wasn't in a rush, but with the holidays and Covid  it was within reason

They were great - very professional and communicative. I like the peace of mind of a flat rate rather than wondering what the cost will be when the job is done. Luckily our job wasn't too extensive. I would definitely use them again but hopefully I won't have to.

This company has integrity!  I contacted them due to some leakage in my garage.  I contacted Ron on a few occasions to describe the problem.  Upon learning the details of the problem, he suggested that my problem was probably with our irrigation system.  He said that I could probably get the problem fixed using an irrigation company, rather than spending the money on their more skilled/capable staff.  So rather than accepting a job that they certainly could have done and charged me for, Ron unselfishly steered me in a different direction to save me money.  He's very responsive and kind as well!!

Their expertise is slab leak.  I have several rental properties and I have dealt with this company for the past 20 years. Prompt service, professional workmanship.  I definitely recommend them.

I was very pleased with Patrick's professionalism and courtesy while addressing a stressful water issue at my property.  His staff set an appointment on Saturday and they arrived on time and were swift in dealing with our slab leak.  They were careful in removing the floor tile and managed not to break them so they could be reset. I know this isn't always the case and I'm sure the tile could have been broken out easier than the effort put in to tap them out.  I would recommend Evans to anyone needing leak detection and reasonably priced slab/leak repair.

We had two leaks in our home - six weeks apart.  On both occasions, Evans Leak Detection came out, assessed the problem, and fixed the issues fast with minimum invasive work.  When I called the company, the owner  answered the phone with great professionalism and concern, and made a great effort to accommodate my busy schedule.  The experts showed up on time to assess and fix the issues and they too were very professional, polite, and efficient.  I will definitely use this company again in the future should any more problems with my plumbing arise.

Lloyd is great!  He tells you exactly how much his services are.  There is a fixed price so NO surprises.  He has been in business for years and his professionalism shows.  He also tells you an exact time of when he will be to your house give or take a few minutes.  Can you believe that!  Trustworthy and friendly

I had a slab leak in the middle of my home improvement project but had no idea where it was.
Omar came over and started his investigation. Using what looked like a metal detector and a listening device he found the leak.
He then cut off the pipes and repiped around the problem through one of my walls.
I could not be happier. The water is back in and the meter is not running wild.

I have now had Evan's Leak Detection handle two jobs for me, both of which they handled most professionally. They were responsive, efficient, finished on time and within estimate.  I highly recommend their work.

Paid $450 for Evans to determine slab leak.  2 men came out and spent 2.5 hrs and charged $1745 (never in my life paid any plumber over $800/hr).  One man tried opening my slider door and broke the latch. I confronted him and he denied it but they finally agreed to fix it. Evans left 5 holes in my walls and dirt on the floor.  They moved an outdoor faucet which I did not want to move but they told me it would no longer work if they did not move it. After they left, I discovered 2 additional outdoor faucet which did not work. I requested Manny return to fix the problem they created but he wanted another $145.  Later I had a competent plumber re-pipe my house and he had to replace the inferior products used by Evans. Worst experience ever with a plumber and outrageous prices.

Talked to Ron who was able to get one of his guys over the next day. As a contractor I appreciated the prompt service. Ron found the leak, repaired it and all was well. They would be my first call if a problem arose in the future.

As a general contractor, my company has used Evans on many occasions. We are always pleased with their performance.

Very prompt friendly service. Unfortunately, dismayed at the seemingly bate and switch. Was explained the pricing and understood the pricing was $350 for leak detection and $1,150 for slab leak needing cutting into slab and walls.  

$1,150 sound like a great deal, until you find out they do a tubing bypass, not copper piping, which does not require cutting into the slab.  Not as invasive as cutting into the slab, but seems quite pricey for how the repair is done - and I did not hear about any guarantee.    

So a slab leak repair is $1,150.  Not sure why $350 is even mentioned unless someone calls because they did not notice a leaking faucet.

The owner, Pat, sounded very nice and friendly initially; and the price seems to be reasonable.  However, his friendly scheme is to talk you into using cheap material like Pex vs. copper and get your $1000+ with minimum work done.  On top of it, I had to get another plumber to fix the leak he missed.  Please learn from my experience and find someone else to take care of your plumbing issues.

I highly recommend Evans Leak Detection.  Called Thursday AM and Omar came out about 11AM.  We fully expected to need a pipe by pass, but after checking and finding no water leaks where we expected, Omar found the source of water from our dishwasher.  Who KNEW?  Problem solved.  But if we had needed a pipe by pass,  he would have taken care of it.  Omar was nice, ready and professional.  Ron very helpful with the dispatch and scheduling.

Hands down the best leak detection and plumbing repair company I've ever dealt with.  Slab leaks are one of the most stressful home issues to deal with because you know it's going to cost a lot, but most plumbers won't give you a price until after they've finished the job.  Evans Leak Detection lets you know what it will cost before they even come to your house.  How awesome is that!   This is a long review because these guys deserve it.  

From the beginning, Ron was straight forward and upfront about the slab leak detection and repair process.  The absolute best part is the flat rate pricing for fixing slab leaks.  Knowing the cost ahead of time eased my mind and helped me better prepare for the expense.  

I called so many plumbers trying to get an idea on cost to repair our slab leak and none of them would give a price.  I foolishly paid another plumber for leak detection and estimate before contacting Evans Leak Detection.  Even after that, the other guy wouldn't give me an exact dollar amount, but rather a ridiculously wide range of what it might cost.  He said he would have to rip out our kitchen cabinets and they'd be damaged to the point of needing to be replaced by us.  

So I contacted Ron at Evans Leak Detection, he asked a few questions, explained the process and told me what the flat rate price would be (which was much lower than the estimate from the other place).  He had Omar at our house within a couple of days.  Omar located the leak quickly, answered the 800 questions I had (sorry Omar), and explained everything he was going to do to bypass the slab leaking pipe and re-route that section.  He was able to run the new section of pipe in the wall behind our kitchen cabinets.  Not an easy task, but he did it seamlessly with very little cosmetic work for us to address after.   He was such a nice man, very thorough and experienced in his work, and double checked/cleaned up everything well before leaving.  

In summary, if you have the misfortune and stress of a slab leak, please don't waste time researching other plumbers.  Just call Evans Leak Detection.  Professional, experienced guys with flat rate pricing to simplify the process.  This is one of the easiest recommendations I've ever made.  Thank you Ron, Omar, and Evans Leak Detection.
