Our water heater was leaking and I was preparing to replace the unit. I had checked Home Depot and Lowes and called one other plumbing company for estimates for installation. I fould Daley in Yelp and decided to call for one more estimate. Jim said he would prefer to see the unit before giving an estimate and said he could stop by later in the day after he finished his current job. When he arrived and checked he found a small leak that I hadn't noticed at the water outlet line. I said I would replace the line myself and he said no charge for the visit. Unfortunately shortly thereafter the water heater started leaking from somewhere inside the unit and after 22 years I decided it was time to replace. Of course, I called Jim again and he picked up the unit I chose at Home Depot and installed for me. I was very happy with his work, attitude and his follow-up calls checking if everything was working properly.

I highly recommend Daley plumbing! I recently, on a Sunday, had an issue with my kitchen sink leaking. I called, Jim answered the phone immediately, and was at my house for a consultation within an hour. In that consultation it was found that the solution to our leak was minor, it was fixed and we weren't even charged a fee!

Jim is definitely an honest plumber that we plan to continue to use.

There is a reason all Jim's reviews are 5 star! I have used his service twice in a week (minor issues) but could have been major if the wrong person had a chance to quote them. Jim is a hard working, honest, reliable person. As good as it gets when it comes to his trade! My opinion is that he treats ALL of his customers as if they are his most important $5.00 or $5,000 job.

Jim takes the time to fix instead of replace IF it is safe, possible and the best thing for the customer. It's very hard to find that type of service in this day and age. He doesn't rush the job, is very thorough and makes sure you understand what is done and why it needed to be done that way.

If you have ANY plumbing needs large or small do yourself a huge favor and call Jim. I guarantee you won't be sorry!

Fantastic job! Jim not only was knowledgeable and efficient but took the time to explain everything that was going on, and preventative maintenance to stop the same thing from happening again in the future! My water heater broke down. I called him. He texted back and said he'd be available at a certain time the following day. He showed up per his text. The quote that he gave me was spot on as well. He fixed the water heater. He even gave extra tips on related issues to the water heater. He's reliable, honest, and very reasonable. That's hard to find in plumbers nowadays. I might have just found our go-to plumber.

Our water heater broke and was leaking water all over our garage so we were desperate. I called a few places but they either said they couldn't make it out right now or they have to charge a service charge just to come out and look at it. Called Daley plumbing and Jim answered. He was super friendly and offered to come out and take a look in between jobs. He took a look and said unfortunately you need to replace the heater. Asked for quotes and he said he needs some time to give a more exact quote. Unfortunately when all was said and done he was not able to install our water heater that night but he came first thing in the morning. Was really happy with his work, professionalism, and being able to trust him.

Jim was GREAT! Our water heater went out unexpectedly and what we thought could be an issue turned out to be actually nothing major at all! He saved me a major expense because I caused a major problem by dropping a drain snake in my 4 inch bathroom drain. Jim perceived and got the drain snake out without digging up my floor.

I called Jim early in the morning regarding a leaking water heater. He told me he could arrive at my house within two hours. When he arrived he explained everything he was doing when looking for the problem and determined I needed to replace my water heater. He drove me in his van to buy the new water heater and explained my different options and recommended what he thought was best.

When we returned to my house we experienced some difficulties installing the new heater due to the area he had to work with. At the end he managed to overcome those issues and did a great job installing the new water heater. He additionally helped unclog the washer drain in the garage which was also giving us a problem.

Jim was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He had a great attitude and I highly recommend him. I will definitely call again for any plumbing issues I may have in the future.

Jim is the BEST! I called him for the first time when I needed my valves replaced for my new washer (Best Buy told me I needed them replaced). I got a couple quotes from other plumbers and then Jim came by and said that it was unnecessary to replace them. He gave me advice and left without charging me at all. I called him since twice and for both plumbing issues, he charged very little or nothing at all. He is extremely responsive and knowledgeable.

I had a list of a half of dozen (at least) plumbing issues that needed fixing. My previous plumber didn't seem interested in fixing them, so I went to Yelp. The first plumber I tried never responded to me. Then I found Daley Plumbing. Jim was very helpful and didn't flinch at my list of things to be done. All my plumbing is working great now and I couldn't be happier with the service. He was fairly priced and wouldn't even accept a tip. Called the number in Yelp and Jim promptly answered my call. I informed him of the service that I needed and he quickly gave me a quote and once we agreed he gave me an estimate of his arrival and asked that I continue with my daily routing and that he will let me know as soon as he completes his currently scheduled job which was around 11am. He called soon after 11am and said that he was on his way. Jim is very courteous and answered any questions that I had and even offered some suggestion on how to prevent my recurring issues from resurfacing. The next day he contacted me to follow up and asked if the issue is still resolved which is still working great. Nice to do business with a company who cares about its customers. Thanks, Jim!

Jim is the man! I had just moved in my new house and there was no hot water. I called around and everywhere was charging $150 service call
alone plus cost of repairs. I called Jim and not only did he help me over the phone (turned out my gas was off) but he was patient in explaining every step of the process with me.

I found a new vendor of choice and will be using him for all my other properties.

The hot water under my kitchen's sink is leaking so i came across yelp and gave dalay plumbing a shot. Jim showed up the door as the time that he promised. I was out of hot water for 3 days (Thursday to Sunday) & getting desperate, as I was getting the runaround from everyone else about the size of a water heater (I required a short-type), the immediate unavailability of 'short' water heaters & code restrictions because they don't modify vents (allegedly, only a general contractor does that!), until I contacted Jim at Daley Plumbing on Sunday night. He not only accommodated me with the first appointment of the day, the very next day, after requesting another customer to move her appointment to the afternoon, but he also made the larger water heater work, by modifying the vent in the ceiling. His absolute commitment to customer service, and thinking outside the box to make the vent work with the larger size water heater, saved me from having to compromise by settling for a smaller, lesser water heater instead of my preferred choice.

I called Daley Plumbing Sunday morning because our water heater was not working. Jim was very pleasant on the phone. He arrived at our house within the hour as promised. Jim looked at the water heater and noticed that the vent was loose and had the wrong type of tape attached. He re-attached the vent and applied the correct type of tape and said, No charge, this was a potential fire hazard I had to correct. Jim examined the heater and started the unit working again. He explained everything that he was doing and reviewed the safety precautions of using a gas water heater. Jim has a very pleasant and professional demeanor. I highly recommend him and would utilize his services again.

Jim's definitely the go-to guy for your plumbing needs. He came through again and had my old, noisy now leaking water heater replaced in a jiffy. He didn't try to up-sell anything and actually was inspecting it in case it could be fixed, but at 19yrs (warrantied for 12) I was due for a new one anyway. As I mentioned in my previous review, he's a professional and also a cool, personable guy. He's helped us 3 times now and always come through.

Called Jim today regarding our water heater leaking. Jim responded right away and in less than an hour, he arrived at our house. I called him thinking we needed water replacement, but as soon as he saw the water heater, he said the water connection on top was loose. He tightened it right away and the water stopped leaking. VERY HONEST GUY AND HE SAVED US $3000!!

Before I called Jim, I had another guy I found on Yelp come over to our house to check what's wrong with our water heater. Almost immediately,he said we need a replacement. Luckily we didn't listen to him and we found Jim.

I highly recommend Jim for any plumbing issues. He demonstrates such knowledge in his field. Not only did he fix a clogged drain but gave me tips for maintaining the drain so the problem did not arise again.

He is also very respectful of the property and asks for permission before doing anything. He also looked at my pipes and warned me about future problems.

Jim is the go to plummer. Had to change the garbage disposal. Turns out that the last plummer did not properly install it. Jim did it right and gave tips to keep the sink clean too. He also helped to uninstall and finally get rid of my old water filter and tank. Definitely appreciate this.

Our kitchen sink became backed up and clogged. Jim was the only one that was available to come, and arrived at the time he said he would. Not like the other companies who provide 2-3 hr ETA windows. No offense to them, but when you have a clog, especially in the kitchen sink, you want to address it ASAP. Jim is very personable and his prices are very competitive. He diagnosed the problem, remediated and provided good helpful tips on quick maintenance. Would I use Daley Plumbing again? Most definitely!

Jim is an awesome & honest plumber. We had a clog in both showers & bathrooms at about 9pm. I called him & he walked me through the different scenarios & prices, then made it to my house 10 minutes later. Even though it was dark outside he made a big effort to figure out what the problem was. He explained it might be the huge tree in my front lawn whose roots were beginning to block the plumbing pipes. I let him know I was a new owner & still had insurance and he advised me to contact them first since he didn't want me to pay out of pocket. The next day when the insurance plumber came to see what was going on, sure enough Jim was right & the clog was due to the trees roots. Expert plumber who will explain things throughly & give you a fair price, would highly recommend.

i picked another plumbing company b/c of their yelp ratings but they never picked up or called back. so i came back onto yelp and i'm just extremely glad this was who came out to fix my issue with a leaking water heater.

my phone call was immediately answered. Jim was extremely nice and sounded very knowledgeable and asked a few questions to get an idea of what the problem would be. asked me to send some pictures to help diagnose before he got there was great too.

he came pretty much right away and was able to find the issue (bad fitting) and fixed it right away. what else can you ask for right?

one of the few companies where I actually wanted to write a review asap than do it later if i remember kinda companies. i was very impress. great communication and resolved my issue asap at a fair price.

his number is in my phone now as the company to call whenever i have any plumbing issues. companies like this are hard to find nowadays.

Friday night I'm trying to figure out why my water heater is leaking. I reseal the nipple on the inlet side and turn the water back on. Water sprays everywhere. F**k!!!! Turn water off. Now there's no water. This is where Yelp comes in. I start looking for local plumbers. I came across Daley plumbing. Read reviews I liked what I read. So I made the call a little before 8:00pm. I got a quick response after leaving a message. Spoke with Jim I told him the situation he said he would check it out Saturday morning most likely if I needed a new water heater he would take me to pick one out and bring back and install it.
We agreed on him coming to my place by 10:00am
Jim was there by 10:00am. So Jim quickly accessed the problem and told me I need a new water heater. He said I got my money's worth out of the 30 year old leaky one. ( see pic). So we were off to Home Depot where I picked out the water heater we needed for my home. Loaded it and off we went. So after taking out the old one Jim installed the new heater as quick as a jif. After the install Jim made sure everything was kosher. He did mention to me the galvanized pipes have a lot of corrosion.
It may be time to start thinly of changing those out.
Well long story short Jim is very thorough,accommodating,personable and honest. He is in the business to make money of course but in a honest way. I believe I got a great deal and my family is happy we have warm water again. Thanks Yelp and Jim at Daley plumbing.

Are you frustrating because something going on with your plumbing? Do you want a great and honest advice? Want the problem fixed in no time and have a great new friend in your life? Don't wait no more.. Jim Daley is your answer!! This guy... I have no word to describe him. Keep in mind that I rarely write any reviews but if I do then you know I had a great great experience! My faucet has a leaking supply line and I was up all night super frustrated. In the morning I gave Jim a call and he came in no time! He is so professional and super super friendly! And if you want to learn about plumbing he will be your best professor ever hahaha. Fix the problem in no time and double check everything to make sure is ok. Just felt I should write a review. We had an urgent situation with non-functioning water heater at tenant's house. With new year day approaching and guests and relatives visiting, he really want it fixed ASAP. We searched yelp and read reviews under Daley Plumbing, decided to give it a try.

Jim responded right away, went to the property, identify the problem was due to thermocouple and fixed it on the spot. His charge was very reasonable. We would definitely call him when we have similar need in the future, and would recommend him to others.

Not your normal plumber.
As a rental owner, an RV owner and a personal home owner I can tell you I have had quite an array of plumbing problems. But what I haven't experienced EVER is a plumber who is as conscientious, courteous, thorough, kind and affordable as Jim.

At about 6:50 pm on a Tuesday night, I realized my toilet was clogged. After several attempts of plunging the heck out of the toilet myself, no progress was made. Since it is one of my main bathrooms, I preferred not to wait until the next day. I quickly got on Yelp and found Daley Plumbing. Although he did not answer on my first call, no more than a minute later did Jim call right back. I told him my problem and said he was finishing up and could be to my place in 30 minutes. He gave me a cheaper quote than another call I made so I was grateful he could come out right away! Jim is super friendly! In just about 10 minutes my toilet was unclogged. Jim gave me some tips on how to prevent future clogs (no using flushable wipes EVER!) and also gave me strainers for my bath and sinks. When all was said and done, he even knocked off a few dollars from his initial quote. I will definitely call on Jim if I ever have problems again.

A recent clog in my bathroom had me calling around for a plumber. I called a couple of places and they told me it would be a couple days before they could respond. I then spoke to Jim and he told me he would be out the same day. Jim explained in great detail what the possible problem was and fixed it in a timely manner. I also asked about a new and better quality toilet and what he recommended. A few days later he installed a new one that was a hundred times better.

I was in a bind yesterday. I had a main line sewer blockage. I called several plumbers that had an extended arrival time and I could not wait. I called Daley Plumbing and he was there in an hour. Jim was great! Although he didn't pick up the phone when I first called (since it was very early in the morning) he texted me back and notified me that he would be calling me shortly. He was very responsive and flexible with my schedule which I truly appreciated. He was very honest with the repairs and since my garage was flooded from a leaking water heater that needed to be replaced he went to pick up the water heater for me and also was gracious enough to lend me his shop vac! I was fortunate to find Jim on the internet. It was four o'clock in the afternoon. He was doing a job in Anaheim as i fond out, I live in Covina I needed a new water heater mine was leaking badly . I had a problem with my toilet tank upstairs, it was leaking so bad that water ended up dripping in my ceiling downstairs. I was on the phone for an hour looking for a Plumber. Seriously, if you ever need help with cloggged sinks, broken showes, malfunctioning toilets, Jim is your guy! Saw all the good reviews on yelp, so I called Jim on Saturday for my water heater issue. He was responsive and came on time. He said that the leaking was minor, so I don't have to replace it right away. Recently, we had Jim come out and remove a defective water heater and install a new one. Both my wife and I had a positive experience working with him, he was not only very thorough with his work but he was friendly, professional, and would take the time to explain his work if you were inclined to listen.

I recently called Jim from Daley Plumbing because my water heater was not working. The pilot light had gone out and I was not able to reset it following the manufacturer's instructions. Yelp should have Diamond ratings for businesses as good as this one. Went out and beyond to help with our water heater problem. He explained everything with details and broke things down Barney style so a non expert like myself understood exactly what needed to be done. Explained warranties and basic functions as well. I'm so grateful our landlord brought in Jim for all of our plumbing issues. We had a leak in our shower, clogged sinks from hard water, and a broken toilet seat. He had great communication, and worked quickly to fix everything in a timely manner. He did the caulking for the shower, fixed the toilet seat, and replaced the sinks. He had so much knowledge and educated us on how to take care of everything moving forward so everything lasts longer. I will definitely call him anytime we are having plumbing issues, he was the best!

Jim was great! He called back within an hours after I left him a message. I was having problem with my water heater and he was able to squeeze me in between appointments on the same day. He fixed it within minutes. Great customer service, friendly, knowledgeable and very willing to share that knowledge with you. I used Jim's services two years ago at my parent's house and finally had to use him at my house. The pipe underneath my kitchen sink was leaking and I really thought I would have needed to replace the entire pipe. I had Jim's number saved and texted him really early and he quickly replied back and set a time for him to come by. It was on a Saturday morning! He came by, checked the pipe and said that it just needed to be tightened, and re-taped! He ran water down and the leak was gone. The pipe looked really old and I asked him if it was time for it to be replaced?? He then gave me a detailed explanation that of the pipes purpose and that it was actually in good shape.

He then said ok your good now, and proceeded to leave without asking for a payment. I even tried to give him some money for Jat responding and driving over and he wouldn't take it. He could have easily sold me into replacing the entire piping and charged me but he didn't. It makes me feel good that there are still people out there like Jim that make an honest living. If you've got plumbing issues and want an honest opinion, Jim is your guy. I'm glad I saved Jim's from my first interaction with him two years ago and will continue to use him if anything else comes up in the future!

Our water heater gave out on Mother's Day! Turned the water on and BAM nothing but COLD water! As I was searching through yelp I came across the reviews for Daley. Being that it was Mother's Day I didn't expect an answer but sure enough Jim answered the first time and suffice it to say he was at my home the next morning. I called for a leak in our garage thinking it was the water heater and Jim from Daley Plumbing was at our house within the hour. It turned out that source of the leak was not the heater or a plumbing issue inside our property. Jim was a real nice and gave me advices on how to deal with the issue going forward. Jim was referred to me from another plumbing company. We had a plumbing issue with our kitchen sink that had been an issue before. I called Jim and he was able to do the service the next day. He was very friendly over the phone, via text and during the service. Good communication through the whole process. He was able to do the service on a Saturday and he was on time. Nice guy. My disposal broke, and not only did Jim come out to replace it at exactly the price I expected, but he also gave me tips on how to keep the new one in top condition. He even gave me the upgraded size, which I wasn't expecting. I had a question about my tub too, and he gave it a quick look at no extra charge.

Last week my water dispenser broke and flooded my kitchen. I called Jim and he came out to my home and repaired the leaked. I also needed to install a kitchen faucet. Jim is very friendly, pleasing, and honest. He had done a great job fixing my rest room flush tank quickly. His prices are really good (I would say best comparing with others). I asked a couple of other plumbing companies to look into the issue and give a fair quote and their estimates were really high considering the work needed at my place. So I looked in to Yelp and found Daley Plumbing and I am happy that I came across them. I called him in the morning; he showed up in the same morning and replaced my flush tank parts with new ones in half an hour. I then requested him to look at my upstairs wash basin where the water pressure was very low and water was flowing like a thin string. He told this might be a clogging issue and he was right, and I got that work done as well. While he was there, I showed him an electrical issue with my switch; he gave me some suggestions and gave me a digital multimeter to keep; and all these for the same price he quoted for the flush tank, he didn't take a single penny more even after me offering. It was pleasant talking to him.

I would definitely recommend him to my family and friends and will use him for any of my future needs. Thanks a lot.

Had a broken water heater that I repaired myself, but would not light. I thought that I would just need a new one, so I purchased one and called Daley to install it. Jim was at my place within two hours. He looked at my old one, lit it, and had it running in no time. He explained that sometimes the lighting instructions don't always go into all the steps that are needed. For instance, it didn't say it could take up to two minutes for the flame to show up. So my repair was good after all. No need for a new one. Returned water heater, $$$ savings!!! Jim is friendly, professional, and I would highly recommend this company to all.

Now officially my go to place for any plumbing need! I called several places prior to speaking with Jim. Most didn't answer, others were really expensive and some didn't have time. I told him my issue and that I was looking for a quote. Gave me by far the best quote and mentioned he was on a job at the time, but he could come by in a couple hours. He called me as he left the job to let me know he was on his way. Once he arrived he was polite, clean, and informative. Double checked the issue with the water heater and confirmed that he was going to charge me what he had quoted me over the phone. He showed me a few improvements that could be done in the future to improve the life of our water heater and pointed out some hazards we were not aware of. He fixed our problem but was unable to turn our water heater back on due to it being drenched in water. So he suggested to let it dry for a day and that he would show me how to turn it on. Next day he text me to check up on us and see if we had any problem turning the pilot and burner on. Sent him a picture told him everything was running good and that was that lol. If you guys are looking for an honest plumber that does good and clean work, then look no further. I definetly recommend him and definetly would use him again.

Recently I developed issues with a water heater leaking and causing damage to a room in my home.
Daley Plumbing responded in a timely manner and did a great job removing and replacing my water heater.

While having the water damage mitigated it was determined I also had a water leak in a wall behind the drywall. Again , Daley Plumbing responded and took care of the issue.

Pilot light on my water heater went out. I suspected the thermo coupling had gone bad. I called Jim at 6 pm, and he quoted me $125 if it was indeed the thermo coupling, which I thought was very reasonable, since it was in the evening and close to holidays.

Within an hour, he came and fixed the issue. He was true to his word and very upfront. If I have other plumbing jobs in the future, I'll be sure to contact him.

If you need any plumbing services, go to Daley Plumbing. He is super friendly, great communication, and reliable. Also very honest! Which is not always easy to find. We found our plumber and are referring over to friends and family because he was great! Price is also very reasonable.
Our water heater was broken and we didn't know what was wrong, he came right on time and let us know right away what was wrong and was able to fix it quick.
We are so great full to have found him. You won't regret going to him.

Needed our water pressure regulator to be replaced and Jim took care of it in a timely fashion. I requested his help with some other household plumbing issues and he took care of them without charging me! He was excellent in his communication- always reachable. So rare to find a honest, trustworthy, and dependable tradesman these days but Jim is exactly that! Personable and professional, I recommend him highly!
