Kent was first introduced to Pelican Water Systems in 2008 when his father purchased their product online after learning, through family reference, of their positive reputation. Kent was at first skeptical, and quickly became involved in the installation process in his father's home to ensure it worked properly. Following the installation, Kent was highly impressed with the quality and superior materials of Pelican's products in comparison to other systems he had seen or installed previously. After investigating alternative competition, Kent concluded that he wanted one in his home too, and so began Kent's relationship with Pelican. After first-hand experience of seeing the benefits of Pelican's holistic approach to water, he made the decision to establish Concept Water to serving the community with a water division dedication to Pelican Water Systems.

After looking around we found ConceptWater on yelp. Called and left a vm for Kent, after 30 minutes he return my call same day. This was the most honest conversation I have had with a vendor. He did not push me on upgrades, provide me a solid quote upfront. We decided to schedule the installation and purchase of the smart combo PSE2000 for our new home. He said he would call 30 minutes before the schedule appoint and keep his word to the dot. He showed up on time and discussed the installation process and after a few hours later it was fully installed. We strongly suggest reaching out to Kent for your water solutions needs. If you are looking to deal with a vendor with honesty and gets to the point of your concerns Kent is the man. Got the Pelican 1800 PSE installed at our new place after researching all the different softeners and conditioners. Kent is an awesome person to work with. He'll explain everything to you and make sure your satisfied with the install. His workmanship on the installation is phenomenal. All the piping's are lined up right correctly and it doesn't look messy. He definitely knows his install. I would recommend him to friends and family if they need a softener or conditioner.

So I've been trying to find a part for my under the sink water filter for couple days now. I tried looking almost everywhere. Amazon, eBay, etc. I had no luck finding the part that I needed. I was looking for a 5/16 to 1/4 push in tee. I guess this part is too old that they no longer have this in most stores. So I called a random water company called Concept Water and was fortunate to speak with the owner, Kent. He actually went out of his way to look online and send me a address link where I can purchase the part I needed. Basically bottom line is that even though I didn't use his service to install my water filter system I am sure that he will do a great job! His customer service is on hand and very helpful! I recommend him to anyone that needs help. Wish I can give him more stars. Anyways thank you Kent!! Best wishes to you and your business!!!

Kent was FANTASTIC to work with. I did extensive research on salt-based water softeners and salt less softeners and found myself in a rabbit hole of information.
When I contacted Kent, I thoroughly appreciated his straight forward approach in providing me information. He educated me on the difference between the two and from there I was able to make an educated decision. I also liked that he had the system in stock vs several companies had to order and had longer lead times.
Kent also went above and beyond hiding my pipes in the walls to prep for install AND came out in a Sunday to install to make sure the system was in before we moved in!
It's been about 3 weeks since the install and it has been one of my favorite investments! I LOVE that we can drink out of every faucet and don't have to install an RO system for drinking water. The water taste so CLEAN and refreshing!
And I don't know if this has anything to do with the water system, but not only are my indoor plants have been thriving since we moved into the home but their leaves grew bigger :)
I high recommend using Kent for your Whole home saltless filtration system!
Installed a water heater after my Takagi tankless failed after 7 years. I would highly recommend his services for the Pelican (which I also have) or any plumbing issue. Highly skilled and knowledgeable, very fair with his pricing. From my experience he went the extra mile to fix my water issue.

Nothing but a fantastic experience with Kent in getting a Pelican salt-free water softener installed at a brand new townhouse in Irvine.
Here are some of the summary in bullet points:
- Extremely meticulous in his work. Makes sure things are done right and that includes testing and cleaning up.
- Extremely patient in answering all of my questions.
- Kent is an inspector in Los Angeles as well as a Pelican water systems dealer. Not only that, he is very familiar with the home constructions around Irvine.
- Lastly, he offers a very competitive price. The packaged price includes extra filters and a return visit after 9 months.
Installed a water softener a few months back and started noticing a slight knocking noise. Had a plumber come take a look and they suggested getting someone that specialized in water softeners to take a look first. Called Kent and explained the situation. He came out to take a look and basically it was the sound from my check valve doing it's job and said there was no charge.
Finding honest people to handle electrical and water issues is near impossible these days. Kent was friendly and professional. He explained everything in detail and I couldn't have had a better experience.
When the time comes to switch my water softener system Kent will be the first and likely only person I call.

After months of research I decided to buy a Pelican water softer alternative and filtration system online hoping our plumber can instal it for our newly built house. Soon I figured out I need an expert for this. I was lucky to find Kent from Concept Water on Yelp who promptly contacted me with a reasonable quote and he was kind enough to arrange and instal the system over the weekend. The system is installed in my garage corner perfectly and it works and looks great. Defiantly recommend Kent and his professional service if you are planning to purchase a much need water filtration system.
We appreciate Kent's attention to detail and all his help explaining our new water system to us. We've noticed such an improvement on the first day. Thank you!
Wanted to get the pelican water filter and softener installed. After calling the reps recommended by the manufacturer I didn't get a very good vibe from any of them so I decided to yelp and decided to go with this company as they had the parts in stock and presoaked already. The Cadillac of customer service and quality product! As a Project Manager working on various residential properties it's always a juggling game, often, with more than I can juggle at once. You need help and someone to deliver on their word? It's Concept. Kent and his crew are the Amazon (when it was at its best) of customer service and satisfaction. A class act from day 1, they are unbelievably reliable and you can expect the best products. Very helpful and attentive, I was surprised how easy they made each step. They were patient with me and answered all the questions I had, many of which I'm sure I had already asked. I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience.
Just had our salt based water softener replaced with a Pelican NS3 water conditioner to be more eco friendly. Kent the owner was prompt giving us an estimate and did the install today. Can't say enough how nice and efficient he was. His service is beyond expectations and the quality of work is bar none. He evens provide after service to come back in 6 months to check on the system and provided free filters that will last for years to come. Definitely would recommend calling or emailing him if you want one stop shopping and installation

We have interviewed many plumbers and Kent came out ahead! Kent isn't just your typical plumber. He was previously an inspector. He would make sure everything would be done professionally to code. We highly recommend him!
We also did quite a bit of research on various water filtration systems. Pelican is one of the best in terms of quality, performance, and reputation.
I was looking for a filtration solution for my home as the hard water was damaging our fixtures and leaving our skin feeling very dry. We reached out to Kent during our research process. We were so impressed with his customer service and his confidence in Pelican products that we decided to move forward right away. Kent patiently answered our questions, provided honest recommendations, and gave us a competitive bid. We didn't take very long to decide to move forward and once we did, scheduling and communication was a breeze. Kent came out a few days later to do the install. He was very respectful with COVID precautions and his work was amazing. The installation was clean and is actually beautiful to look at!

We wanted a whole house system and decided on Pelican. I found what I wanted at Home Depot, but wasn't sure I could DIY install myself. I found Kent online and saw he was a Pelican dealer. I contacted him for the purpose of installing the system I intended to buy at Home Depot. After talking with Kent I found he was a wealth of information. He said he would be happy to quote the whole system I wanted, fully installed. I was very pleasantly surprised that Kent quoted the system I wanted, at the Home Depot sale price, and the additional cost for installation was very fair. Kent showed up promptly for the installation, did a fantastic and clean job, and we couldn't be happier. Yes, the water is now vastly improved. Call Kent. You will be happy you did!
I contacted Kent at Concept Water after doing some research on the Pelican Water Systems. He returned my call immediately and we set a time to meet. He provided me with plenty of information to help me understand the system and came right over. His installation was top notch and he did not leave until I was completely satisfied. Can you imagine that nowadays? Real customer service. We love our new system! The amount of sediment and chemicals that we had been drinking over the years was gross. After exchanging messages with Kent for a few days, I knew I had found the right company for the installation of my forthcoming pelican whole house water filtration unit. I had purchased it thru Home Depot to take advantage of the low price and zero interest financing for 2 years, which Kent was totally fine with even though he was an actual dealer. He came over after they were delivered to pre soak the filters a few days before the actual install date. That day it only a few hours and he was done. The install was perfect. He was a pleasure to deal with and the work was excellent. Thank you!
We purchased a water softener system online and had a plumber install it. We realized it was not working properly because the water was not soft at all. We needed someone to just take a look to make sure it's working properly. I had read a bunch of great reviews about Kent and decided to give him a try. I'm so glad that I found concept water after researching and calling many plumbers and water filter installers who tried to sell me commercial grade filter, something I do not need for my home. My husband and I were in the market for an eco friendly water softener alternative and found Kent through Yelp. I did my research ahead of time on the differences between different systems and loved that Kent was an expert in Pelican systems-a brand with a lifetime warranty and lots of data to support the efficacy of their systems.
Beyond his obvious care and expertise in plumbing and installation of these eco friendly water systems, Kent is just a lovely human. He really takes the time to listen to your specific needs, and provides thorough responses to any questions or concerns you have.
Kent was prompt in his responses, and was able to come assess our plumbing situation and install our system all within a matter of days. His attention to detail and plumbing expertise are so evident in his work as well as his communication. He truly cares about his work and his product and it shows! We are so thankful we got to work with Kent and now have a whole house system that both filters and reduces scale in our water.
I'm not sure how he did it, but he installed our entire system in an extremely narrow and shallow corner of our garage - as that was the only space available, and made it work with some sort of expert plumbing tetris magic!

I had decided on a water softener due to all my fixtures and shower doors flaking up, and decided on a Pelican system. I called Kent as the Pelican distributor for the area and he showed up to discuss and quote that afternoon, and we scheduled for installation the next day. He was done in about three hours - great job and a good equipment+installation package. Highly recommend.

Nice guy (Kent), but don't call this company if you're looking for a salt-based water softener. You will get some misleading information because they sell and install salt-free softeners as their main service. Apparently this company is a green plumber according to Kent, and they cannot install salt softeners in California. Salt softeners are only banned in a few jurisdictions in California, but certainly not Orange County. He also said that if I install a salt softener without reverse osmosis I will probably have diarrhea for a year LOL. Most of us grew up with salt softeners at home and did not have diarrhea. Salt-free conditioners are not water SOFTENERS as they do not remove hard minerals from water. Their effectiveness is questionable at best.
Kent came to install the Salt-Free Water/Softener (NaturSoft Series) today. What a pleasure doing business with him he explained every step from Turning on the faucet to flush out the dirty water while he turned the water off for 40 minutes then he turn the water back on and I had to turn the faucet on again to flush it out and all the air to him letting us know we should have pure drinking water within 24 hours. He will also come out in 9 months to change the filter . I highly recommend him if you need soft water.

Great customer service- including a follow-up email the day after install. Great products. We love our new water system and highly recommend looking into your water's content to see if a whole home filtration system is beneficial for you. Our health is our number one priority, and as a holistic massage therapist, I know the value of clean, healthy water. I am happy to say that Kent made the decision easy and we are now reaping the benefits of chlorine free water throughout our entire home. Showering never felt so good. Great job and quality service direct from the owner. Did a lot of research on different systems and companies. Found price, product and system to be the seat choice to avoid salt, recurring service charges and overpriced systems. They even installed a hose bib in the garage to have treated water for spotless car washing.
