Zippity Split Plumbing

I will be using Zippity Split Plumbing for all my future plumbing needs. I had a very stressful time-sensitive issue with some sewer pipes on a house I was buying this week. Long story short, the seller wouldn't unlock his gates in a reasonable amount of time and we needed to give him an answer by midnight. Finally got the gates unlocked and Brandon H completed the sewer scope in a timely fashion. He was able to give me an estimate, information on all of the financing options, as well as his honest opinion on the life expectancy of the pipes. For someone who knows next to nothing about plumbing, he was the first plumber I've spoken to that talked to me in layman's terms and I could tell he was being honest. Not only that, but it was over 110 degrees at 5pm and he got the job done. Estimates seemed on par with the other estimates I was given, and the inspection was free. I very much appreciated his hard work and his honest opinion. I will be going back to this company in the future, requesting Brandon as the plumber, and referring them to any friends that need help with plumbing. Thanks Brandon and Zippity Split!

People in general would prefer not to have a close and personal relationship with their plumbers, but after a second slab leak in 3 months, I found myself once again calling  on Zippity Split plumbing . This second leak was far worst than the first and affected three separate rooms. Mark was the first to arrive and confirmed our suspicions.Just as the first time, he was on time , explained the diagnostic process, and gave us choices . His crew came zippity  split and repaired the pipe, Ben explained everything clearly, Just as the first time they were thorough and very neat and clean. When I experienced a break in my main water line, the team responded immediately and effected a repair in a timely and professional manner. I was kept abreast of their progress and very pleased with their solution.

Their guy showed up and tried to snake my drain. He discovered that the old pipes were corroded and said that he would have to tear apart my cabinets, jackhammer my floor out... and then he would know the true extent of the work that needed to be done. ($3200 to start... probably increasing to around $9k).
I called another plumber who actually took time to look for other solutions. He completed it the same day for $1800

Fantastic, no hassle, very professional, technician Demanee H was friendly and pleasant to work with answering all questions - only needed a snake for clogged kitchen sink area - we had tried to handle situation ourselves with our snake with no success - easy call to set-up appointment - they arrived promptly and on time - Zippity was zippy and we were flowing in short order - so much better than Roto-Rooter (RR) - RR has too many people/hands to go thru - i.e. call center, dispatchers, etc. - RR did not arrive within given window and when called to get update no one could say when a technician would arrive - will depend on Zippity in the future not RR.

Zippity Split was the 4th plumber I called for a clogged drain. The first two attempted to snake the drain and failed. One declared the drain broken and quoted an enormous amount to dig into my bathroom floor, with no guarantee of what work he would perform afterward. The second declared it corrosion and also quoted a large sum to jackhammer my shower stall. At least he had a planned repair. The 3rd did nothing. But he did recommend that I call Zippity Split so for that I'm grateful. Roger arrived on time. Listened to all our prior experiences, and said based on those, it sounded like a dig was needed, but he wanted to try clearing the drain with a snake himself. Well, not only did he clear the clog, he found the reason why the other plumbers failed, and created a solution that would make all future clean out (if necessary) easy to perform.  He saved me thousands of dollars and I don't have to rebuild a destroyed during a dig shower!  I will be recommending Roger and Zippity Split to anyone in need of competent, professional plumbers.

I read a lot of reviews of plumbers and decided to call Zippity Split Plumbing. Mark called back right away and came to see the leak I had under a sink. In no time it was fixed!  He is very nice and does great work! I recommend him highly!

Zippity Split was the 6th plumbing company I had diagnose my decaying cast iron pipes. Most of the companies recommended a full replacement of my pipes which would have required my house to be tore up and my responsibility to put everything back together. My total cost of repairs would have been in excess of $60,000.00 and not to mention it being able to be in the home for a few weeks. Brandon at Zippity Split came to my house the day after I called him and offered me a solution that would solve my cast iron pipe situation and would not require my house to be tore up at a fraction of the cost. Two days later Brandon, Mark and their crew completed all the work in one day and As a result of their inversion process I had the equivalent of a brand new pipe with a 25 year warranty. Brandon and Mark were professional, communicated well, and they wore masks and booties when they entered my home which I appreciated with the Corona virus outbreak. I would highly recommend Zippity Split for anyone's plumbing needs.

The only thing Zippity Split about this company, is how quick they are to lie to you, run out on appointments and how quick  they are to REALLY try to overcharge - way overcharge! If those are things you want to fix your plumbing... go for it. If those things tend to bother you, run zippity split to someone else... anyone else!

I chose this company after reading good reviews and told them I would write one if they deserved it... they don't. I was going to use one of the big guys but wasn't happy with the reviews. I don't know about the other reviews, maybe they were friends, or different people were there, but 1 star is about 20 stars too good! I had called, and believe spoke to the owner, Orlando. Told him that I had a problem with a toilet, a faucet and a sink backing up. He was great, set up a quick appointment, but that was all that was good. At the appointed time, Devante showed up. It was supposed to be someone else, but that wasn't a problem. He came in, looked, literally spent 5 minutes and said he would go work up a price and be back in a few minutes. That was his first lie of many. A few minutes went by, he didn't come back. I literally waited an hour (hope you don't mind wasting time), then called the company and asked Orlando what happened. I was told that there was a misunderstanding (lie #2). He said he would call Devante, so the guy wasn't even here anymore. Anyway, he gets on the phone, and yes I have a recording no matter what they try to claim here. He tells me that I need to replace the whole faucet, replace the toilet, and... wait for it, he will snake out the kitchen sink for free. What a deal! Then I asked how much and was floored! His deal was only going to cost $1,517.00! Of course it wouldn't be that day - as his boss told me (lie #3). I said at that price, I would have to call someone else for another estimate. Of course, if he had still been here, and was ready to do the work, I might have gone ahead. Now I wouldn't even let them clean out my cat's litter box! I asked why he didn't come back and tell me, and why he just left - keeping me waiting an hour. He said: he left me several voice messages... of course he didn't, not even 1. So now this is lie #4, and on top of it, he and the owner were just rude for leaving like that. I said I would need a written estimate, and gave him my email. He said he would send it right over... and you guessed it, he never did - and yes I checked spam too. ( lie # 5).

The next day, a real plumber came over, spent actual time looking at the problems. Yes, I will have to replace the toilet. No,  I don't have to replace a whole faucet (lie #6) . It was just an aerater filter as I suspected. He went to his truck, and got one and put it on. No charge, about $5 at Home Depot. Took less than 2 minutes. He looked at my kitchen sink and told me a few things I could do to fix it at pretty much no cost and would save money since he didn't need to do it. Oh and the price for everything - a whole lot better than Zippity Split. Not over $1500 as they wanted to rip me off for, not $1,000, not even $500. $475 for everything! Don't worry, I will write his review soon, and know who to call for other plumbing needs.

Bottom line; Zippity Split Plumbing lied about almost everything, were going to do work that was not needed and charge 3x's the price of an honest plumber, left without ever saying they were leaving-wasting an hour of my time, couldn't do the work the same day as promised, and couldn't even send over a written estimate. So, if that sounds good to you, well you know who to go to for lies and being ripped off, and wasted time. If on the other hand, you want honest work at a fair price, go see someone else...and I will give the name of that plumber in another review, but pretty much anyone has to be better than no zip plumbing. I might even file a complaint with the state license board. I didn't pay anything, but don't want to see others ripped off either. You decide...and hopefully stay far away from this company - unless you like lies, unneeded work and being charged way too much.

Need to repair your sewer lines but don't want your entire yard dug up? Highly recommend Zippity Split for any and all sewer issues!! Had the sewer lines hydro-jetted after a backup due to root intrusions. Still had root evidence 2 months afterwards. After contacting 6 different plumbing/sewer companies, Zippity Split was the ONLY company that provided No Dig sewer line repair.  We reside in an HOA community and it was important that the front common area where the sewer lines are located were disturbed as little as possible with the landscaping left as found. Mark, the owner, was super responsive and provided different solutions. We chose to have fiberglass lines installed from the access point to 3' past the city line to prevent any further intrusions. Zippity Split provides a 25-year warranty for this service. Ben and Jesus did an amazing job!!!  They were professional, informative, polite, efficient, communicative, and hardworking,. They dug 4' deep (through construction trash, cement, and wiring left by builders 37-years ago) to locate the main issue, replaced the pipe, installed the liner, and returned the landscaping back to its original state. We had never heard of the no-dig sewer service prior to this but did witness the horrors a neighbor experienced with a full-dig replacement. So happy that we chose Zippity Split and had only a very minor dig involved. Thank you Mark, Ben, and Jesus from us, the HOA, and all of our neighbors!!!

Zippity Split was awesome. We had a cracked drain pipe in a historic home and Zippity Split provided a solution that was half the cost (at least) of other plumbing companies that assessed the same problem.  They were professional, knowledgeable, on time (very rare) and a real pleasure to work with.  I highly recommend them.

Funny name, but serious business! I needed a plumber since using Scottsdale plumbing changed ownership and was never the same! So found this one and they have been here several times. Frank and the others very effectively fixed my problems and always would show up on time. Good work and great attitude!

Called them for clogged toilet and they went out to my daughter's house the next morning. Advised us that the issue was the toilet not the drain line. They definitely know what they are doing.

Deceitful advertising of 68$ for drain cleaning.. When called to verify and asking them about any hidden fees upcharges or anythting like that, they said, Oh no, its all straightforward..

When the plumber Frank arrived, he said that its not an owner-occupied property and the drain cleaning is $235 (although he agreed to honor the promised price of $68)

Really impressed with the plumber named Sheldon, his soldering work on the copper pipes, there are solid melds and no mess or drips. The work was done thoroughly and new parts were used. Sheldon was easy to talk to, knowledgeable and courteous. This company has fixed up my water lines and old condo water issues that arise.  

I'm really impressed with the office help, and communication on all levels with the owner, the plumber was top notch.

Will use this company again.

I called many companies before finding Zippity Split, and when I tell you they were punctual-I mean they came within 2 hours of me calling regarding a huge leak outside my house. Other companies wanted me to wait until the following week (this was a Thursday, and the water had to be shut off for the entire house!). I'm upset with myself because I forgot the guy's name, but he was polite, professional, and informative. I've never experienced anything like this, and initially, I thought it was a city of phoenix issue.  But nope, it was all on me, and I'm grateful the cost was bearable. A few factors for the specific decisions I made was that I didn't want to destroy my paved walkway, and I didn't want pipe removed going all the way to the city line. The plumber explained why he used the material and going with the c curved pipe was best for this particular situation (for any plumber critics). All in all, I was satisfied with the job, and I would definitely use this company again! See pictures. This leak traveled all the way down my block. I thought it was my in ground sprinklers malfunctioning DOH! Thanks again, Zippity Split, for being there in my immediate emergency!

I am giving them a 4 star for their professionalism, on time and friendly service.  Unfortunately they could not do what we had asked them to do.

My wife and I bought a house recently, and when our washing machine backed up - it was a wake up call that cast iron pipes from the 60's don't last forever.

Brandon and Ben worked together to get our kitchen/laundry line scoped and descaled - working like new in 48 hours.  We liked them so much, we called them back for the much larger project of installing an resin liner in our bathroom sewer line (which had a slowly growing crack).

Ben analyzed the situation, explained the process, wrote out a quote, and when the day came - executed it exactly as he said.  Ben and Mark were professional and courteous, fixed the issue promptly, and the yard was left even better than it was when they arrived.

2020 has been a mess. Found out I had foundation issues which is a nightmare and very expensive. Then I find out I have a sewer leak which needs to be fixed before I can fix the foundation. I recently purchased my home and it was turnkey, or so I thought,  so I DID NOT want to tear up the inside at all. Like one of the previous reviewers mentioned, I called 4 plumbers and all of them required major invasiveness to my home, tearing up walls, floors, removing sinks cabinets etc......One even suggested involving insurance in a not so legal way. Zippity to the rescue. Mark was very patient. He was number 4 so by the time I met with him, I had just about had it with plumbers and was ready to bite someones head off. He explained the procedure and it was cost effective for me. I even asked him to speak with the foundation guy to make sure his procedure would be sufficient for the foundation work! Interior property damage or even a remodel is very stressful but when his guys came, they were all so nice and kind and understanding of my nerves. They delivered as promised, minimizing the mess and follow up repairs to my bathroom. They literally jackhammered through my foundation and only broke through 2 tiles! They even planned it so my toilet could be put back in place and continue to be used. They were here ALL day and were so respectful of my home. I even got a couple of referrals for some people to do planned work on my yard from Ben. Please do yourself a huge favor and CALL these guys if you need work done. They are awesome!

I called in today due to clog in my kitchen sink that had been in effect for four days. Because of holidays, hard to find any plumbing company over the weekend. Zippity was recommended by a neighborhood plumber since he did not do drains. Sheldon arrived on time and was very nice and friendly.  He showed me the cleanout outside my home and then proceeded to do what was needed. He said they offered a 60 day guarantee of their work. Within half an hour or so, he was done. I would recommend this business and would call them again , if needed.

Talk about Professional Quality! These guys know their stuff. I'll be calling them for all my future plumbing needs.

Brandon was awesome! Company provided great communication and arrived on time. Brandon was willing to give anything a shot to get us up and running even though we feared it was a collapsed line. Turns out it was just a pesky clog that he was able to quickly push through and get our shower up and running. We have found our go to plumbing company as first time home buyers!

Zippity Split is AMAZING!! We've lived in our house for 3 years and have always had problems with our drain. We had other plumbers come out to try to fix the problem but they actually made it worse. Mark came out, diagnosed the issue in under 2 minutes and had the problem solved in a matter of a few hours! He was kind, knowledgeable and very professional! They did amazing work that much exceeds my expectation! My bathroom was clogged and I arranged about 5-6 plumbing companies come to inspect the drain lines and three of them showed me with camera inspection how badly the root  damage was. Of the three, Zippity Split is the only one that not only suggested me doing trenchless pipe lining as permanent repairing, but also convinced me that pipe lining was the most cost-effective and least troublesome repairing method. The other two urged me replace the cracked pipe with new one through opening and removing concrete slab, which means a higher price and incredible mess to my neighbor as well, because the cracked pipe is located underneath the living room of my neighbor downstairs. By shooting a 14 ft blue liner into the underground pipe, Mark and his team thoroughly solve my headache and concern of root intrusion in the future. Mark's help is actually much more than that. He found out and indicated to me that my drain line is actually connected with my neighbor's laundry line downstairs. This is a crucial evidence that would affect whether or not insurance and HOA will cover it, for which, nobody told me before. I truly hope as many people as possible can benefit not only from his superior technical ability, but also from his meticulous work ethos.
