We've come a long way. Rainforest Plumbing started in 1999 as a 2-truck operation. President and founder, Ike Tippetts, having graduated with a Masters in Business Administration, found himself answering phones and dispatching around the clock! The commitment was to do whatever it takes. We've come a long way since those days... It wasn't long before more trucks were added to our fleet, one... sometimes two at a time. I've been using RainForest Plumbing & Air for years, and recently they came again to repair my A/C unit.  JB (an awesome technician) has visited us before, and again he didn't let us down.  He quickly found the problem with our unit and, just as quickly, corrected it.  JB was on time, friendly, professional, and technically competent.  A few years ago RainForest Plumbing & Air helped me a great deal when I was a furloughed military serviceman...with a blown compressor (in August!).  They worked with me and got my home cool again.  I will NEVER forget their kindness, or their support of me (as a military member) when I, and my family, needed it most.  Thank you RainForest Plumbing & Air!  By-the-way...Mike Broomhead sent me!

I am literally in tears and frozen with anxiety-

Rainforest plumbing was called on behalf of the complex I live at, they were here to fix a broken pipe which was leaking all over my floors.

I made the call early that morning to my maintenance around 8 am and the company didn't arrive until about 3 pm - I took the entire day off work to be home, because I don't like people here when I'm not-

Upon arrival they immediately started demolishing the floor with a Jack hammer- no warning and it was so loud and damaging to ears- but the worst part is they did not cover ANYTHING!!! all of my furniture and clothes I had just washed and my sons bedroom and bedding all was exposed to hours of drilling - the whole place was filled with clouds of dust, the smoke detector was even going off- and from the looks of it eventually ripped off the wall...

All of my stuff is covered in dust. I am trying to clean now that I am able to enter my unit and I honestly don't know what to do. I'm having anxiety because literally everything here is dirty and I'm telling you the dust is THICK!! All of my kids toys - the food I had on counter - my electronics my kitchen- I feel so overwhelmed- I am crying!!!

I feel like I just want to throw it all away, because it's so much!!!

I'm so disappointed with this company for not taking the right steps to make sure this didn't happen.

I would absolutely never recommend them to anyone

Not impressed. Showed up 2 hours late to the appointment told me he could not fix the issue and if I wanted it fixed it would be an extra $150 because their warehouse closed. Not sure how them showing up late became my problem.

I sprung a leak in a closet ceiling.  I diagnosed the cause and tore out the drywall and exposed the leak.  I sent pictures to a great plumber that I used before, but unfortunately he was backed up by 2 weeks, so he suggested Rainforest and said the job should cost around $250ish.  

I was told by Rainforest that they couldn't give me a time and someone would be out today and give me a text 40min before showing up.  I didn't get a text and I was out, but luckily someone was home.  The charge was $485 for 45 min worth of work and minimal parts ( 1 copper elbow) and he used my latter.  I should have had him stand on his tiptoe's.

I've known Rainforest for years and have worked with them in a professional capacity.  When it came time to have my AC replaced, the choice was easy to use them.  I was warned by others they are not the cheapest but ironically, out of 5 quotes, they did come in at the lowest.  While I'm a strong believer in you get what you pay for so being the cheapest wasn't the most important, it definitely was a perk!  What I appreciate the most about them is their communication, professionalism, ability to explain things in a way I understand.  We got the cabana club which is an amazing value and have had them out 3 times to inspect things at no charge.  In fact, they are proactive and set up inspections twice a year.  Both times, they found something that needed to be fixed and fixed it for free.  It's clear they pride themselves in the customer experience and for that, I won't look anywhere else.  They'll continue to service my house even if I can find it cheaper.

We had an emergency with guests coming and backed up drains.  Rainforest responded promptly, showed up on time and came in under quote.  They beat the pants off George Brazil price wise and the tech Randy could not have been kinder.  Highly recommended.  It didn't matter that they were all the way out in Mesa and I'm in Central Phx.

My second time to use them and now my mother is now a convert.  As good as it gets.  Nowadays, who comes in under quote?  Kudos to Randy.  Thanks for saving my mom.

Wow... I was shocked to get on Yelp and see anything negative about this company?

I have been using them at my office and my home for years and have referred them to all friends and family. The even do the plumbing work at my nephew's apartment complex. I have had nothing but great experiences with them over the years. I really like their up front contract guarantee so I know what to expect before the work starts.

I'm writing another review for them because I recently had to use them twice... once at work and once at home. Both times I was amazed at how straightforward they are to deal with. At work, the technician came in to work on a toilet that kept running... he fixed it in five minutes and didn't even charge us since we had a call in for the house too!

When the plumber showed up at my house, I was braced for the worst and was expecting an expensive bill. After looking at the problem, I was quoted $550 - $700 depending on how extensive the damage was. I went ahead and let him do the work... two hours later, he was done and the bill he handed me was only $375, because it wasn't as bad as he thought.

Their fast response and quick work saved me from tons of drywall damage in the ceiling of the room below my bathroom. I will use these guys every time!

The worst Plumbing company in the United States!  I called to have my water heater repaired. The technician while I'm at work installed a Propane water heater when I have Natural Gas 10 feet away from the water heater installation and very easy to see. Then he installs a conversion kit and charges extra for that. Purposely installs the wrong heater to charge extra for a conversion kit. Now over 1 year later the orfice tube gets clogged from the Natural Gas burning off when firing the burner each time. A new technician shows up for warranty work figures out the problem and it has been 6 days since I've had hot water now and it still isnt fixed. I've called 3 times to dispatch to 3 different people and all of them assure me they will call back and get somebody out to fix it but NO CALLS BACK AND NO TECHNICIAN!! The owner guarantees 5 star work on their website and it isnt even 1 star. I am stuck at their mercy waiting for them to fix their original mistake whenever they get around to it. Lousy customer service.

I'm legitimately shocked they have such a low rating on Yelp. My air conditioning went out and the first company I called, who have a 5.0 rating, told me that it was a single actuator that was bad and would be $2500 to fix. I then proceeded to have Brian from Rainforest come out to look at it. He thoroughly checked the system and showed me that the actuator did open and close but the coils were clogged and the whole thing had to be replaced.

The manager Randy came out and looked at it for a quote on replacement. The total replacement brand new was $3450, versus the $2500 for the previously quoted part. After agreeing, the tech Felipe came out to replace the whole unit. He completely stripped it down and rebuilt it, and the system was rapidly cooling my condo when he left. These guys were experts in dealing with this chiller and did a phenomenal job.

The only reason I gave a 4 instead of 5, was due to the exorbitant diagnostic fee of $267.95. I would have been ok with the cost of it, if it had been applied to the repairs, but that wasn't offered. Feels a little like nickel and diming.

My tech Eric was amazing, I had already had a plumber and a HVAC guy out and neither any any idea what was wrong with my heat and hot water, I could have one or the other not both at the same time.

Eric had it all figured out within 10 minutes and explained to me how I could take my first hot shower in a week.

Rainforest is the type of company I want in my home, period !

TWO hours late twice! This occurred after we were given a quote from a tech on our bathroom remodel who we found out later had been fired
from Rainforest two days after giving us the quote. The cabana plan is
a way for them to make money. Don't sign up for it and pick a different
plumber.

I was given a 2 hour window, and when they didn't show by the end of the window, I had to call, forcing me to postpone an appointment. They apologized for being so busy and didn't call. Tech was then supposed be on their way, followed up saying heavy traffic and was even later. Finally arrived 45 minutes or more late.

The Thumbtack app recommended them, gave me a standard price to replace and dispose of the old toilet. Technician immediately DOUBLED the price from $180 to $365 when he saw the job was upstairs (even though I hauled the bloody thing in its box up to the stairway landing for them), and didn't tell me until then that there was a $35 disposal fee, plus any parts that it didn't come with. Work was good, accomplished the job. But all in all, not a good experience. Probably won't use them again.

I own a high rise condo in downtown Phoenix and have used these guys twice. Once for faucet repairs and most recently for a faucet and garbage disposal replacement. James was our service tech for the most recent visit. He was professional, clean, organized, punctual and honest. In both instances, the technicians arrived on time, provided accurate quotes and performed a clean, professional job without any interruption. Highly recommend these guys. If you're looking for a no-nonsense plumbing company, you can't go wrong with rainforest.

They have come and fixed the pipe 3 times now and it keeps breaking. They are not getting to the root of the issue and seem to be unable to figure out why the pipe keeps breaking.

We have had other plumbers tell us this is 100% due to vibration / rattling and that rainforest is not fixing this issue properly at all. Problem is, they keep sending the same exact guy every time.

This last time he came to fix it, we came home
To black tar cement all over the ground and it was impossible to clean up. They also totally ruined one of our towels it is now covered in black tar that has completely ruined it.

Just a warning for anyone who may use these people, they will only partially fix the issue instead of finding the root of the issue.

My parents called this company because their drains were moving very slowly. The plumber tried snaking the drain from two different places and got the water flowing slowly, but not great. When he was working under the kitchen sink, the pipe exploded and blew oily black pipe sludge all over the underside of the kitchen sink, out onto the kitchen floor, and across the kitchen and onto the refrigerator and kitchen cupboards. WHITE KITCHEN CUPBOARDS. His response was my wife would kill me if I did that at home. No apology, no attempt to clean it up, nothing. He wrote on the receipt that the problem was not fixed and charged them $300. It took two weeks, longer than the 3 day guarantee for the drains to stop working again. When my Mom called back she asked to speak to the supervisor to explain her displeasure with the technician, what he did, and the note on the receipt saying the issue was not fixed. The supervisor's secretary called her back and quoted their rates for an appointment. HORRIBLE WORKMANSHIP, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, and HORRIBLE TECHNICIAN!!! DO NOT USE!!!

Fantastic workmanship! We had Miguel at our new house in Mesa to put in a new kitchen sink faucet. He was so good at his craft. You can really tell he knows what he's doing. He performed the job super fast and with such precision I couldn't believe it! I often struggle with doing it myself or having a pro do it. It can be hard because there's no guarantee the pro will do it better than I can. Not with Rainforest. I could never do what Miguel did at our house! Amazing service and quality work!

Rainforest Air was quick, prompt, professional and courteous. They were able to troubleshoot and fix the problem in a very clean and efficient manner. From customer service over the phone to technician on site, i would recommend this company to anyone. As a Director of Plant Operations at a local hospital, I have many experiences with poor services from vendors. It is refreshing to have a company provide excellent service.

We could not be happier with our experience with RainForest Plumbing.  From first contact with the office, through completion and payment after the service.  They listened well to our problem as our drain pipes in both bathrooms leaked under the sink.  Jose came out to inspect and give us an estimate for the work.  He was very professional and knowledgeable.  I like that they send a picture of the plumber that will be coming to your home. We compared their estimate with a few others and found the quote to be reasonable. Some others never called us back.

The next day, Gerardo came to do the work and we were very pleased with his expertise and care in making quick work of replacing the makeshift metal drain pipes with solid modern pipes.  The sink hardware matched our faucets perfectly.  He made sure we were happy and let us know we could just call the office to pay.  Marilyn at the office was also extremely pleasant.  A big deal, to us, is that both Jose and Gerardo were on time for the appointments.  That doesn't happen very often these days!  We won't hesitate next time we need any plumbing work.

Worst service in history! These are the Melvins that Parker & Sons talks about.
The first incompetent guy they sent out spent several hours snaking the line when we told him it was broken outside. He then didn't wish to continue for fear of getting the snake caught. He swore up and down that the pipe went North after we told him several times that it goes South and that they need to dig it up out there, but what do we know, we've only lived here almost 20 years. Because he believed without a doubt that the pipe runs North, they were going to have to jackhammer through the kitchen floor - ABSOLUTELY NOT. Finally the guy with the camera comes out and verifies that the pipe does indeed go South. The cause was just as we said from the beginning as they pulled up roots from the busted pipe. After quite a few days of screwing around, they finally dig up the pipe and the offending plants out front to replace it. I also have a small child, so we had to go elsewhere while work was being done as we had no water for about 4 unnecessary days, as well as the several moments of foul language being thrown about (mostly F bombs). When we returned after they cleaned up, the floor cleaning pad was absolutely BLACK, there were sludge splatters on the bathroom wall, and mud all the way up to our second story window from the excavation. We live in an HOA and because the problem lied outside of our walls and the offending plants were property of the HOA, it is 100% their responsibility as they called the plumber to begin with and approved the work at the start. Today, we received a preliminary lien notice for just under $13,000.
SO, to sum it up: Much waste of time, messy, uneducated in their field, pricey, and they didn't even bill the correct party.
Do yourself a favor and FIND A DIFFERENT PLUMBER as our family personally likes to use Parker & Sons, but due to this being an HOA issue, they unfortunately chose Rainforest.
I am not a TENANT, a tenant is someone who RENTS. We own the home on the property.

From the first call to the tech leaving our home this was a great experience. The woman who took my first call was engaged, knowledgeable, and nice to work with.

The tech arrived on time and get this - his truck did not leak oil on our driveway- bigger deal than you might think. He was courteous and very well informed. He checked everything and made suggestions that make sense. He prepared an estimate and delivered it at this visit.

All in all so far they might be better than the advertisement.

And now the owner responded and how often do you see that. The tech parked on the street but we have a dirt driveway and I told him to park closer in our driveway so his tools would be easier to get.

Rainforest really came through for us! The water just wouldn't shut off after a shower and I called after hours and Adolfo was able to come by. He quoted us and troubleshot and we saw him again in a day or so. Then he worked so hard to solve the issue that wasn't so simple. He made things look better than before and we are so thankful for his hard work and kind attitude!

Rainforest will charge you 2-3 times more than other companies just to come out and diagnose. 5 days later after they came out and I still have not received bids they said they would send. At this point I have called other companies, wish I had called others first.

I would give no stars if I could!!!  This company went out to my elderly parents upscale home in north Scotsdale $147 to diagnose and then came back and charged $437 to fix to 2 leaky shower heads, no parts and one service man was there for 2 hours.  My parents were wise enough to settle on a reasonable price of $240, and will never ever use them again.  STAY AWAY from this company especially if you are elderly, they almost took my parents for nearly $600 for a very simple repair and no parts!!!

Our sink and laundry room has been draining slowly for years, even though we have had three of four other plumbers come out and snake the pipes over the past few years.  Well, on Saturday the drains backed up completely.  Chris came out and realized that we needed a camera guy to come see why the snake would not clear the drains. So, Adam came with a camera, found the problem, and then handed off the repair to Chris.  I'll spare you the details, but I can tell you that Chris kept us informed every step of the way, and when he showed us the parts of our plumbing system that needed replacing we were blown away that no one before had ever realized that we had some serious blockages and damaged pipes. Yea, it cost more than the other plumbers had charged, but as they say, you get what you pay for. (Besides, they were very good about giving us estimates and revising the estimates as further problems were found.)

In closing, I also want to note that every person we had contact with from the office folks, the schedulers, the supervisors, etc. did an outstanding job of communicating everything we needed to know to get the job scheduled and completed.

Their techs are always professional, knowledgeable, and informative. They have a wonderful program called the Cabana Club....look into it....it saves you money and is a wonderful tool to have.

My new home came with three Honeywell thermostats, which were awful and difficult to work. I had previously used Nest thermostats in my old house so I called Rainforest to see if they installed the Nest. They do install Nest thermostats and they also have the Pro version that they bring with them, so there was no need for me to go out and buy any! I was worried they may be incompatible, but Bryan, my technician, was amazing and installed three thermostats and checked my entire system. He was so helpful and also made sure I had everything set up the way I wanted in the Nest App for iOS. It was a wonderful experience. I have used Rainforest before and find them to be the most reliable and honest in the business.  I highly recommend them!

These guys know what they are doing.  They are direct.  On several occasions we have been pleased with their repairs and professionalism.  Some may think they are expensive, but we will pay to have the job done right...and Rainforest does the job right the first time.  The office staff answers the phone...no computer messages...and responses are quick and efficient.  I joined the cabana club as Rainforest will now do the maintenance checks on my two new ac units.  I plan to use them for my plumbing needs as i trust their judgement and recommendations.  They are on time.  If they are running late I will get a call from the office.  Very impressive business.

I struggle with or leaving this review because my case is unique. My technician arrived in a timely manner. I have a tankless hot water heater and I woke to no hot water in the morning. I had to go to work and my daughter had somewhere she needed to be. She took a cold shower and I worked from home so I could have the matter handled. I showed him where the water thermostat was in my garage and he went outside to locate the water heater. He let himself back in my house to let me know the house painter had unknowingly covered the panel while painting causing the heater to shut down. He went back outside to talk to the painter and let himself back into my house again to tell me he was charging  me $150. I completely  understand paying for the house call, but it would have been nice  if he would have at least checked out my heater or did something to make the $150 worthwhile. I also didn't like the fact that he felt it okay to come in my house as he needed and walk around trying to find me. I have never had a service person let themselves in my home without asking  if it was okay, or alert me that he was inside. I do not see myself contacting them again.

I had a pipe leak at the area where pipe went into the house along
side of house.  
A very nice, polite young man, Connor, came to give an estimate.
He called his supervisor and determined that the PVC pipe connected to
the copper pipe was leaking.  I was given an estimate of what they
determined was the proper way to get the pipes fixed.....est.  $1650.
I asked cost of parts and labor cost (would not break down).
I had 2 other 4.5 - 5 star rating plumbers come out and I got
the job done for $350.    Get 2 - 3 estimates b4 you decide.

Giving a one-star review as we didn't end up going with this company due to the outrageous estimate received to install a kitchen sink/faucet, two bathroom faucets and some water valves.  The estimate we received was over $700 higher than the handyman we hired to complete the project.  Keep in mind we had already purchased the sink/faucets from Home Depot so this would only be for any parts/labor.  Do your research and obtain a few estimates before just accepting the first offer.  Your wallet will thank you later.

I have used this company multiple times in the past with good results. Unfortunately the service has drastically deteriorated.

A few months ago I used this company to install a water softener and fix the leak on two of my toilets. I called them back out twice after less than desirable results.

The first return visit was due to the worker not properly completing the initial set up for the water softener and the toilet not flushing properly after the supposed fix. Turned out the new parts were not adjusted properly in the toilet.

Second return call was due to one of the toilets continuing to be leak. The problem was not fixed and the third plumber claimed there was nothing more he could do.

We had 3 different plumbers. None fixed my toilets. And the second two kept telling me about the high turn over in staff.

Here we are a few months later. Extremely frustrated with having leaky toilets but not wanting to deal with plumbers again. So we decided to research our problem. A couple hours worth of research, a trip to Home Depot, and a 10 minute part replacement, and we FINALLY have no leaky toilets. All despite the claim it wasn't fixable.

Needless to say I will not be using this company again.

I called Rainforest after finding my sink leaking water everywhere. They worked around my schedule and showed up right at their scheduled time to fix my problem. After 30 minutes, they diagnosed my problem and fixed it. No hassles, no other surprises, and best of all, an affordable price. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for plumbing repair.

Rip off Alert  Had these guys over to check my A/C that was out in my high rise condo down town.  $50 diagnosis that both of my A/C blower motors were seized up and needed to be replaced, ok no problem.  It was 114 degrees outside and the tech was going to leave without finding the new motors.  So I got online and called several places in Phoenix unable to find the motors.   I found the motors in Illinois and express shipped them to me.  I set an appointment with Rainforest the day after they arrived to install them.  While the tech was on his way to my place he called and said the quote to install them was $695 each motor so about $1400. Mind you I bought the $250 motors online.  I asked to talk to a supervisor and nobody called me back so I called the tech back asking if somebody was going to call me back.  He said no.  That's our price.  I asked what's their hourly rate.  Well you guessed it, they don't have any hourly rate.  They operate on a get as much as you can philosophy when people are in a bind.  I called another company that has an hourly rate and the job was done in 3 hours for just over $400.  Also the new tech found only one motor was bad and the other one only needed a $7.00 capacitor.  Beware of this greedy company that knows they have you when you are in a bind.

Man... I don't even know where to start. I've used rainforest twice now and they were terrible both times. Thought the first time might have been a fluke, but not the case. Both times they showed up late and only gave me 30 min notice of when they were coming... they couldn't even give a ball park estimate of when they were coming out. It was like they were expecting me to sit at home all day and wait for them to come out. I even called in the morning and couldn't get an answer out of them. Also this time their guys come in and reek of cigarettes and left my apartment smelling for hours. They did fix the problem both times, but definitely would not recommend using rainforest... extremely disappointed with my two experiences with them.

Our property manager hired them to a repair the water main for our building. They arrived at our complex around 630 am. When i left for work, the repairman was just sitting in his van on his phone. I figured he was waiting for the O.K. From his boss so i ddint think anything of it. When i got back home at 8pm (i had some errands to run after work) he and another repairman were still sitting in the van and barely any work has been done. The entire complex is out of water. I get that the repair is difficult but it would be appreciated if they would at least work with a little urgence or at LEAST make it look like theyre working. The time estimate for the repair was a couple more more hours at around noon and it is now almost 8:30pm. They have also informed us that the repair may have not been done correctly and that they would test it at midnight and if it didnt work, they would come back in the morning. I'm sure this is an expensive repair that our HOA has to pay so i hope we arent wasting our money. Based off some of the other reviews posted it looks like other people have had payment issues. Hopefully it is done by the morning and this doesnt drag out for a week

UPDATE: its now about 1030 PM (8 hours after they estimated it would be complete) the guy is still sitting in the van on his phone. I dont think itll be on tonight despite what they estimated.

The guys from Rainforest stayed late into the night to make sure our needs were taken care off and did not charge me anything over their initial quote. They also took the time to educate me on everything that was going on. They were better than I could have hoped for. I also signed up for their year yearly plumbing and HVAC maintenance program which sounds like it is a great benefit.

You've seen the commercials with Melvin the dirty, clueless plumber. This is where he works! Dirty, dirty, and inconsiderate! If a guy named Skip comes to your door turn him away! Our bathroom showers were the problem and he spent the first 10 hours snaking every drain but them. On top of that, he tracked sewage-smelling mud all over the house and covered our bathrooms in it. When we asked about the mess he said a cleaning crew would come. The next day, a new plumber came out and told us that was completely false and Skip was supposed to clean up after himself. The second plumber was more knowledgeable but just as inconsiderate as he pulled our tub and dug into the foundation without once informing us that we should probably remove our belongings. I only gave them a two star because the last two plumbers (everyone other then Skip) were quite friendly. However, friendliness aside, I recommend you go elsewhere.

Rainforest was very easy to book late on a Sunday night through their website. Erik contacted me to see if I was available earlier than scheduled on Monday morning. He quickly recognized the problem and returned with parts needed to fix my toilet. The fees were fair. Will be using Rainforest Plumbing in the future.

I'm not leaving this review as a promise that this company can retrieve your wedding ring after you flush it down the toilet, however they will do everything in their power and they will not give up until they absolutely know it's gone.

In my case, I accidentally flushed my ring down the toilet & called two other plumbers that would not even come out because they said it was long gone if it had been flushed.

Andrew and Kyle and another one of their teammates came out and gave me realistic expectations, but told me they would do everything they could to try to get my ring.  After almost 3 hours of thinking outside the box & trying everything imaginable, they recovered my ring for me.  

I cannot tell you what it meant to me that these guys TRIED & cared that this was a priceless item to me.  They even told me finding my ring made their week.

Thanks again, guys.  I will NEVER forget this & I am never taking my ring off ever again! :)

I have a rental and my tenant called for an a/c estimate  and a plumbing issue. While I was at work I received a phone call from the plumbing technician notifying me that there was poop on the floor and it needed to be fixed immediately. After taking to the tenants wife I determined that there was never any poop on the floor. The price tag to clean up non existant poop was $3000.  The description of the work involved was replacing a half horsepower sump pump in the basement, and  an outlet that was supposedly burnt out.  Even if this were true, estimates given by other plumbers were no greater than$750. I would have never agreed ro any of this verbally but I was under duress at work worrying that there was feces on the floor. I feel that because I was a woman on the phone I was up charged. My husband asked them for an invoice showing labor and part costs and they are unable to provide one. If your a woman unfamiliar with plumbing cost, I would not call this company.

After using this company for over a year now I just discovered that they were using the wrong size air filters on my commercial ac unit the entire time. The last tech who changed my filters just shoved the filter into the unit causing my coils to over fill with debris and ultimately causing more work and damage to the motor. Had I known this a year ago I never would have chosen this place. Also, the plumbing techs have no clue what they are doing and are ruder than anyone I have ever dealt with. Will never use this company ever again.

This would be our 3rd HW Heater in as many years. I thought Rain Forest would help us out since this is pretty unusual to only get 12-16 months out of a unit and they installed the previous 2. The leak was also coming from where one of their tech's worked on it 9 months earlier, the unit was covered but they wanted me to pay them another $500 (paid $650 just sixteen months earlier for the same situation) to swap out the unit. I could understand if it was a few years old, but this was the 3rd unit and 4th service call in 3 years. Over priced and not service oriented. Their tech Henry was very friendly but he couldn't make the call or give me pricing, that was someone back in the office. Told me they would review my history and get right back to me, 3 days later not a peep. I feel like they sell junk units so that they can come back in a couple years and make their money off service calls. Not impressed with their customer service...

I live at the Venu at Grayhawk condominiums and rainforest plumbing was called for a unit beneath me 1179 to perform a repair. They were on my roof performing work when they did not have permission to access the roof until 10pm at night on Monday 12/19, they also shut off water to the entire building without notifying anyone. While they were working they damaged the building the next morning none of the units had hot water or heat. They came back to fix what they were trying to repair tuesday. However my unit and the unit below me both did not have heat or hot water. The venu management called and I the homeowner of one of the effected units called as well in which rainforest refused to come out and fix the damage they had caused to the other units and to the building. So we went the whole holiday weekend without heat. Called again they still refused to come out and fix the units and building. I called a different hvac company that came out and fix the issue. Due to rainforests mistakes we went a week without heat and no help from them.

We moved into our new house, and on day one as we went to hook up the fridge, we thought the valves might be trouble. Same with the washer valves. Having no clue what this would cost, and not wanting to wait too long to let our food spoil and the laundry pile up, I looked up rainforest plumbing and air. I've seen their trucks around, heard of the company here and there, but never worked with them before. I figured why not!
Cian was our tech, he was able to come same day which was perfect. We were quoted before work began, and were promised no surprises which was exactly what we got. We thought the quote seemed a little expensive, but have no knowledge of what valve change typically costed or entailed, so we trusted Cian and Rainforest. It took Cian a few hours to do the work, we thought the pricing made sense based on how much time he took and care went into it. He was super pleasant to have in the home, seemed trustworthy and knowledgeable. I would work with this company and tech again! Overall we're very pleased, so 5-stars from us!

Called Rainforrest due to a leaking angle stop valve at the base of one of our toilets. Taylor came out the next day early and prepared. He probably replace the leaking valve and checked all the other bells in the house and found one on there that was frozen so we decided to replace it at the same time. Taylor was professional and efficient and I will request him should I need plumbing service in the future.

After being away for the weekend, we arrived home to find that the AC had quit.  In true AC failure fashion, this happened on a Sunday night during an Extreme Heat Warning.  (Isn't that always the case?)  As the temperature inside soared to an unbearable 90 degrees, we called almost 20 companies looking for the quickest appointment possible.  Most--even those advertising 24 hour emergency service--didn't even respond.  We called Rainforest early Monday morning.  The tech was here at 10:00 that same day.  He was clean, congenial, knowledgeable, expedient and empathetic.  The price was fair and they honored a military veteran discount which was great (every penny helps!).  The problem was identified and fixed with new parts within 90 minutes.  I'm happy to report that I'm writing this review from my 70-degree kitchen!

When reading reviews I realize that people tend to toss 5-star ratings around like extra confetti at a New Year's Eve party.  They can be exaggerated, scattered everywhere, piled high and sometimes lack true substance.  This rating is real.  Call these people.  They are professional, reliable and quick.  I'm grateful.

My AC broke and I had already been given very poor service and the run around with 2 other AC companies. Since my home warranty was not helping me at all, I reached out to Rainforest on my own after they were recommended. And wow I am so pleased with their service and professionalism. After 8 days of getting the run around with another AC company, Rainforest was out within 24 hours, they had an estimate for me by that next morning of coming out, and they put in a brand new AC within 48 hours. Both technicians Robert and Jacob were so knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. They took the time from the job to even talk to my insurance adjuster while on site. Thanks again Rainforest for excellent service! Highly recommend!

I've used Rainforest Plumbing and Air many times over the past several years for plumbing and air conditioning repairs and have always been very pleased with their quick response, professional and courteous staff and technicians who are willing to go above and beyond to ensure the customer is happy. Case in point was a repair that I needed for a very old water heater (installed by a different company) that gave up the ghost at one of my rental properties late last night. My tenant's family was without hot water and rusty water was leaking all over the garage and soaking the drywall and even getting through a wall into the house. I called Rainforest and despite the fact it was a Labor Day holiday weekend, their technician, Cien Delgado, came out within a little over an hour and had the water heater replaced along any deteriorated pipes within a couple more hours. No more leaks, no more cold water showers. To say they're great would be a huge understatement! The thing I didn't mention was I was stressed out already trying to get my home warranty company to approve the work (Rainforest was not yet on their list) so that I could get reimbursed for the repair. Cien Delgado called my warranty company to get authorization and waited in their phone queue for just over AN HOUR to make sure he got their authorization. When does someone ever go that far above and beyond to make sure  their customer is happy? The warranty company approved the work and now I'll get reimbursed for the repair which saves me lots of money. Thank you Cien for going way above and beyond!! Thank you Rainforest for the incredible service and amazing customer experience!! I'll never hesitate to call again when help is needed!!

Our condo management company hired them to inspect and repair a possible leak in my unit that was causing issues in the unit below me. In fact I was told at 4pm yesterday that a plumber had been dispatched. So there goes my Saturday night plans. I waited. And waited. For a plumber that never showed up. Went to bed and at 10:30 got a phone call from the plumber who said do you still want me to come?  What the what?! Is that an acceptable time to do repairs? No. Anyway I was half asleep and told him calling me at this time of night was unacceptable and he'd have to come tomorrow. Well after speaking to our property manager this morning she told us the plumber informed her I refused to let him into my unit! I was and still am infuriated by his omission as to the time he finally got around to calling me. Now, without a choice, this person is in my condo fixing my bathroom. And I will have to pay. And after he fixed the initial problem, mysteriously another problem surfaced. An extra $40 or so. Whatever. So frustrated right now. My whole weekend is completely ruined. I would never ever call this company for any reason whatsoever and would highly recommend anyone needing plumbing repairs to call another company. Never had this issue with Scottsdale Plumbing or Moon Valley, my plumbers of choice.

If could give a 10 Star rateing I would had call rainforest to give me a estimate to do a new fresh swamp cooler installation of a custom made swamp cooler that is all stainless steel that I needed to have installed on my roof the first tech that showed up for the estimate was Anthony he is fantastic he started with calling his manager ho is ebb we came to a estimate for my special job I needed to have done.
They did the install and they did a fantastic job this company will bend over backwards to help the costumer .to make a long story short I had 6 different companies that told me they would do the same job and all of them was a no show. The only company that would do it is rainforest ebb is super fantastic keeping his wordhe had to a company to make the parts to complete the installation of this jod. Bruce and 2 of his coworkers did a fantastic job on this installation they are super had works .
This is the best company I have had the pleasure to dill with in a vary long time.
I Will recommend them at any time I give them 10

If I could leave negative stars I would.. NEVER use rainforest or let them in your house for any work/repair. They have damaged my condo as well as my neighbors. They sent an incompetent plumber for a job that was way out of his league to fix and handle; he even said that he normally does not handle situations like this. The job that they needed to do was to fix and move our water shutoff switch along with adding extra pipes. They informed us that they were going to be shutting the water for the whole complex for 4 hours. He explained that this was for it to fully drain... they only let it drain for 1hr and 15 minutes instead of the full 4 hours. They cut out 5 inches of a 5.5 inch post...which I later found out was one of my structural posts. This along with the leftover moisture and water in my condo, made me feel completely unsafe in my own home throughout this process and I was left not knowing what's next.  My neighbor and I reached out to Carl the VP with Management Trust (horrible company as well) multiple times expressing our joint concern of it not being a safe living condition in both our condos...this is when he informed us someone would be coming out on Monday (4 days after we expressed our concern). They flooded my laundry room as well as my neighbors, and now the drywall is soaked. They did not have dehumidifiers brought out until 5 days after the flood! They should have done this on Thursday night (the day it occurred) or first thing Friday morning. We have been working with the VP of management trust, Carl (who hired Rainforest plumbing) and had neglected the situation for 5 days. We begged them to send another plumber to help on Thursday when this occurred but Carl's response was we will have someone out on Monday. Phil Butler with Rainforest came out on Monday with Carl to take a look at this issue. Phil kept calling us Kiddo and was beyond rude and disrespectful. He belittled  our feelings and this issue. He never once apologized about what happened and was constantly interrupting me. I've had to miss 2.5 weeks from work now and have lost out on commissions (because of their incompetence), as well as them ruining my vacuum, steamer mop, and clothing steamer. The plumber from rainforest personally HIRED a day laborer to help him (who was being paid by the hour) hence why they cut into the line so fast. They both told my neighbor and I that the day laborer was not licensed or bonded with Rainforest and should not be stepping foot into anyone's place.. the guy was not even wearing a rainforest uniform, since he does not work for that company. When the plumber started flooding our units, he desperately needed the day laborers help and had him in our units (uninvited inside) to help him. I have video recordings of him in my place as well as carrying stuff out of it too. The day laborer took a bud light from my refrigerator at approximately 5:14pm and drank it in front of me. In return for the beer he helped himself to, he took out my trash that was also soaked from the flood. They stayed for over an hour after he drank that beer. Who is to say that he didn't have any before or more after that. I have reached out to structural engineers as well as working with a lawyer regarding this MESS. All I want is to be compensated for the work I have missed out on, my household items to be replaced with new ones (since this flood was not my doing) and my utility usage covered. I understand that accidents happen, but this has been unfathomable! They had BST construction (Dashane was so helpful and informative) come out with dehumidifiers on Monday to finally dry up the water in our walls. He said the machines need to be running for at least 48hrs and they also generate a lot of heat. After hearing that I did check my electric usage and have noticed a severe spike in my usage. Phil told me that his owner does what he says, and that he is going to wash his hands with this situation and pass it to his insurance and just pay the $500 deductible. I am just so incredibly mind blown with this whole thing and how rude and unprofessional Phil and Carl have been. I never want to hear from or see Phil or anyone from rainforest ever again. Now the trust management and rainforest have washed their hands with the situation and are NOT going to fix the situation. I am left with a giant hole in my wall leading into my neighbors pantry and damaged goods. We are beyond ourselves to say the least. I have no words and am mentally exhausted.. My advice is NEVER use rainforest plumbing unless you like incompetence and unfinished jobs..

My rental property in Desert Ridge was given an estimate by Rainforest. He evaluated my repairs for $6,000, when the next company that bid told me it was an isolated problem and it was going to be $750. BIG difference!!
I was given a final diagnosis bill of $150 instead of a free estimate from Rainforest. Think twice before calling them if you are a woman.

Carl arrived to our home, earlier than we had expected. The leak was called in and he was at our house within a few hours. He was really helpful, professional, and polite. Not only did he quickly and efficiently fix our sink, he also cleaned up after himself and shined our sink up (which I don't even do haha). We are renting now, so I don't know the cost of the service, so commenting on price isn't something I can do. However, we are buying our own house soon and I do know that Rainforest Plumbing will be the FIRST place we call if we have any issues. Customer service is huge for us, and Carl delivered in a big way! Thank you!

Our toilet flooded yesterday in our new home after we ran one load in our new washer and dryer we received last night. Our tech was Matthew Bennion and he was an absolute pleasure to work with! He kept us up to date on everything he was doing and tried to keep his visit short since it was a weekend emergency service however, given that we have an older house and plumbing was set up weirdly it took him a little longer to get everything working again. He was very polite, great customer service, and would highly recommend working with him!

I called Rainforest Plumbing & Air about my garbage disposal not working, and dishwasher not draining. Unfortunately my husband dealt with the techs that showed up, so I couldn't do anything about their idiotic behavior. Antonio showed up, assessed the disposal, and said he had to get parts to replace it. 2 hours later he came back with the parts. Why it took 2 hours we're not sure. He replaced the disposal, then moved on to the dishwasher, which wasn't draining. He said he didn't know why it was not draining, wrote dishwasher draining good on the invoice, and left. When I questioned my husband as to why he wrote it was draining good, if it wasn't, he didn't know. He said that Antonio did call later to say it had been written in error. Unfortunately, though, if it's in writing it's what happened. My husband and I decided to get a new dishwasher and were about to have it installed, when the guy installing that (not from Rainforest Plumbing and Air, but from American Home Services) asked if we had recently had a disposal replaced. I said yes, and he found that the geniuses at Rainforest had not removed a plastic piece in the disposal, which blocked the dishwasher from draining. This gentleman removed the piece an the dishwasher worked perfectly. I would NEVER call Rainforest again. They sent people who were unprofessional, sneaky, untrained, and way too expensive for the quality of work actually done.

This was our first summer in our new home and it immediately became apparent that we needed to replace the almost 40 year old AC unit on our roof.  We started calling various places to get bids and Rainforest blew them all away!

Even better, once we had decided on them, the work was scheduled in just a few days and was only delayed even that much because some custom ductwork needed to be built.

I stayed home that day to keep the dogs calm, the two gentleman they sent to do the work were timely, professional and pleasant.  They worked very hard to ensure to complete the project (which was removing the old AC, old swamp cooler, old gas furnace, put in new ductwork, and putting in a new pack unit on our roof), and got everything finished in the same day!  They prepped our house very well, laying down plastic as to not track any dirt on the carpet, and cleaned everything so well before they left, the only way I knew they had been here was my house was a good 10 degrees cooler.  My electric bill has dropped more than half and I could not be happier!

Also they had a price guarantee on the estimate, so I didn't have to worry about any unexpected costs.  I will not hesitate to use Rainforest in the future, they did a fantastic job!

I've used both the plumbing and HVAC division of this company for several of my properties and let me tell you, they sure stand apart from their competition! When I had them do a tune-up of a 23-year old AC system, there was absolutely no up-selling or over-diagnosing! Other companies like Ace Air probably would have lied about me needing a new system just by virtue of its age.
For my primary residence, I had a new bathtub installed. Tim came out for the estimate and he subsequently did the install after I decided to select his bid a couple months later (yes I'm thrifty and get multiple bids on these sort of projects). He did such a fabulous job and the end cost was exactly what his estimate was. Again, like the HVAC division, there was absolutely no up-selling or extra BS charges.
This company will definitely be getting a call next time any of my properties need HVAC or plumbing work!

I am an owner of a bar, I called rainforest because my cooler went down. The first diagnostic the technician said that my entire condensing unit need to be replaced but he had the exact one in his backyard same model same everything.... I told him well if it works then I guess we can give it a try... then he hit me up all day long to be paid in cash. I pay him in cash and what do you know, it doesn't work.  Then he says it this and then that and he need another $1000 in cash... I tell
Him this sounds odd but I won't be paying any more cash until it's working. Mind you, it worked for about 8 hours then stopped working. After all
was said and done I finally called and spoke to his manager his manager came down and told me that he's not responsible and that the technician was apparently not working for him at the time. Mind you, when I called the company they sent him down. So basically he said in order for me to get my money back, that I would have to create an arrangement with the technician.. so yes there manager then made us write up on paper that he was going to pay me back by the end of August... well clearly, I didn't get paid back or else I wouldn't be writing this review. Don't call them, they are scammers, they will constantly ask you for more money, then act like they weren't working for the company at all.

I had a clogged drain in my kitchen that backed up late on a Sunday night. I contacted rainforest who were amazing with communication. With in an hour Rickey showed up to my house and cleared the drain. They were very responsive to the emergency in my eyes and it was nice to have Ricky on site. He was prompt, intelligent and great to work with. I would highly recommend him and would request him for any further needs. Rainforest has an amazing employee with Rickey and he deserves a promotion.

Service is bad and the plumber had no clue how to fix anything! I would.not recommend them again!

Down grading to a 1 star - the problem with our toilet continues and the service from Rainforest continues to go downhill. I called on Sat Feb 15 to schedule another appointment. I was given a 5-hour service window (7a-noon) for Mon Feb 17. Same poor communication experience, by 11:50a on Monday, no show from Rainforest. I called and spoke with Sherry. She asked if someone called me to explain why Rainforest had not shown. I told her no, I had not received any communications from Rainforest. She found a technician in Mesa finishing a job and he could then could come to our place (another 1 hour wait). Unfortunately, I cannot wait any longer, I've already scheduled my day around this 5-hour window. I've rescheduled for Tues Feb 18. Hopefully the new appointment window will result in a technician showing up at my place (I'm starting to wonder if these appointment windows are real or just fiction).

I was having trouble with some shower drains at a  4Plex on a weekend night. Our goal is to get this problem solved immediately and to keep things flowing, so to speak.
When I called Rainforest, it was nearly 10 PM on Friday. The call center took all of my information quickly and sent it to their on call plumber. A few minutes later the on-call plumber, John, called me with an ETA. After he arrived at the property and assessed the problem, he called me back with the course of action and a price upfront, before he did any work. His description was concise and gave me enough detail to make a good decision.
He even asked if I was interested in speaking to the on-call supervisor to make sure I understood the issues involved.
I was very happy with the service that rain forest provided. Great job!
