I had Don come out to fix a broken pipe. He is an experienced plumber. Don showed me that the previous plumber did not fix it correctly. He showed me what had to be done. He is great to work with and fixed the problem. I already called for a different problem to be fixed. I will be using Don if I need any work done in the future. Thanks Don.

Don and Rob are not only dog lovers, but also excellent plumbers. They are friendly professionals. I had a broken shut off valve and had to shut off my water to my home. They came quickly to my assistance. They were incredibly prepared with all of the necessary parts. They were kind enough to repair a few more plumbing issues which I had ignored for years. They exceeded my high hopes. Their prices are very fair. A good and trustworthy plumber is hard to find and if you are reading this post, believe me you have found the right plumber. I've used Bird Dog twice for two separate issues.

Most recently, I noticed a leak on a Saturday. Don was at my home within the hour.

He was quick, efficient, and comparably priced to other plumbing quotes.

Needed a quick repair when we got up one day and the garage ceiling was leaking. They fit us in and came within a couple hours. They even fixed an old rusty leaky faucet on the front of the house and replaced a cracked seal under the kitchen sink. Saved me the trip to Home Depot. Very friendly guys, comfortable to have in our house.

I called Bird Dog Plumbing because we were having some problems with two of our toilets and one of our sinks. They came out to the house and looked at all three, telling us that basically we just needed to replace the toilets (they were both older - in the home when we purchased it) and that the sink handle needed to be replaced as well. They told us how to do it and didn't charge us a cent, not even a fee to come out to our home! All three workers were extremely nice and helpful - we will definitely be calling them the next time we need a plumber!

Had a real nice experience with Don. I was traveling and had a toilet break. I didn't like the rstimate I got from the first plumber so I looked on Yelp and found Don. With his high ratings I thought I would give him a try and I was glad I did. He explained to me thr situation and came up with a much more cost effective solution. Forget the chain companies with their fancy trucks, matching uniforms and 'menu' pricing, which means you are probably paying three times as much as you should for plumbing repairs. If you want a competent plumber who is on time, friendly and reasonably priced, call Bird Dog Plumbing. Don came out right away and answered all questions. He replaced a pressure regulator, rebuilt an exterior faucet/pool refill line, and fixed a shower and toilet. And it was all done for less than a third the price the 'chain' companies wanted. Thanks Bird Dog Plumbing. Now I know who to call the first time.

Woke up one morning with no water running in our home. Our water pressure valve and shutoff valve failed overnight, so we had no water in our home. Called up Don and reviewed my problem with him. I was hoping it could be fixed same day and it worked out that he was able to fix it same day.

He was friendly, prompt, and polite. He made sure he fixed our issue and that everything was working before he left.

If you need someone that is quick, efficient, and friendly, I'd recommend giving Bird Dig Plumbing a phone call.

I've been meaning to leave this review for a while. We had a leaking grout problem that Reddi Services misdiagnosed and failed to fix. I cannot speak highly enough about Bird Dog. I had a toilet that was leaking from the base and not only were they able to fix it for me quickly they were also able to flag other issues that I could fix myself. Honesty and integrity are important qualities in a plumber and Bird Dog possesses both. If you need a plumber don't mess with calling anyone else, call Bird Dog!

Bird Dog Plumbing came out to my house on the same day I called, and fixed my leaky toilet. What I really liked about them is that they were extremely friendly and had great customer service. They showed me exactly what was wrong and exactly what they needed to do. Quickly worked on it, gave me advice and were on their way in about 30 minutes.

I needed a hot water heater repair. I called and Don showed up within 30 minutes. He was curteous and came right in to diagnose the problem. His assessment was what I had discussed with another plumber and his price was in range so it seemed fair. He was back within two hours with my new water heater and quickly made the repair. Don and his coworker were excellent to work with. He answered the phone right away, which I understand is not always possible when running a smaller business and having to wear many hats, and scheduled our appointment in a timely manner. I appreciated that they both had the courtesy to wear masks. We had trouble with a leak (unknown source) and our kitchen sink was not draining properly. When learning that our garbage disposal was shot, Don offered three options from which to choose, all being a much better quality than my existing, and had them available to install the same day. This was great because, in anticipation of this possibility, I had tried to purchase one the previous day but would have had to order and wait a week for it to be delivered. Our situation was a little trickier than others because our sink is located in an island but Don and his coworker were able to complete the drain cleaning with their expertise. He also found some funky builder install issues that he both worked around and improved so that we can minimize future drain issues. It turned out there were multiple areas where water was leaking and they did not leave until ALL areas were repaired, even though I'm sure it was taking much longer than they had anticipated. I really appreciate that Don and his coworker went above and beyond so that everything now works perfectly!

We highly recommend Don and his team at Bird Dog Plumbing. Don is responsive, personable, professional, knowledgeable, and flexible. He brainstormed with my husband on how to reroute an outdoor gas line for our grill and together they came up with the optimum solution.

As an added bonus, Don noticed water running steadily out of two drain pipes on the side of our home. He pinpointed the problem as a broken TDR valve from our water heater when other plumbers had passed it off as condensation from our roof. He replaced the valve, said we'd see lower water and electric bills as a result, and we haven't seen a drop of water from the drains since the repair. AMAZING!!!

Best plumbers in the valley! We highly recommend them and couldn't be happier. They came to fix a broken vent line in wall that roof rats were getting in through. They also fixed our slow draining kitchen sink and installed a new garbage disposal. They did this all in less then a day and came just an hour after calling them! They even rematches the wall. We found them to be extremely knowledgable and easy to work with. They even kindly worked with our home warranty company and we were able to get my company to pay for the repairs with ease. Our kitchen sink and dishwasher has never drained better. They actually moved our drain connection down to be more accurate for how drains should flow now on our 1940 home. Not only did they become best friends with our dog but they cleaned up after the work and did a great job. I highly recommend working with these guys. They are honest, reliable. And knowledgeable!

I've know Don for a few years now. When I lived in Phoenix, any plumbing problems I had, Don was the first guy I called.

He always quoted me a fair price and always gave me options to consider. I'm the type of guy who wants to know what is going on. I end up asking many questions. Don always answered them, no matter how stupid. I learned more about plumbing from Don that I probably did from my father.

It doesn't hurt that Don also has the greatest puppy ever (hence Bird Dog Plumbing), and his truck is pretty awesome.

I honestly wish Don made trips out to Philadelphia!

I wish I could say my sewer backup was the result of the recent storm, but it wasn't. For lack of a better phrase, I was literally being inundated with s(^t. I called Don at 4:30 and he originally said he'd come tomorrow, but sensed that I was a little desperate. He came at about 8 PM as soon as he was done with the job he had already committed to. He was fast, pleasant, efficient. I'll admit that I did not get any other quotes, but what I ended up paying for an emergency snaking was way less than I anticipated. I would not hesitate to use him and I would not hesitate to recommend him. As an added bonus, he pet the dogs! TWO PAWS UP!

Don just came over to my house to fix a clogged toilet and sink drain. He arrived on time, and took care of both issues super fast. But even better than the excellent work (including taking extra care to keep the work area clean) was the great customer service. My shower head was leaking and although I had changed it bc someone else told me that's what I needed to do, someone else said it was bc of the handle. Someone cancelled on me to fix it and I had to leave town, I came back to mold in my shower and of course I freaked out! Called Bird Dog a couple of weeks ago for a leak in my rental unit garage. I chose them because of the good reviews and they were located very close to my condo. They said they would be at my place in about 30 min. I did ask what their rate was and was told it depended on the job;so not really told.

I began my half hour drive over to the condo. They then called & told me the problem was my toilet. Then I was told of the service fee which was around $95 plus it was about $95/hour to repair. I agreed as I was already enroute and didn't want to inconvenience my tenant any more.

Upon my arrival to unit, a hole was cut in the drywall ceiling and my toilet was removed. They said they couldn't do anything more right now because it had to dry out. They recommended another company to help with this process and even called in a referral. The reason for the lower review is that I thought $200 was very expensive and I didn't really even have any plumbing done; only a diagnosis.

I live in Chicago and have a rental in Phoenix. The house was old and the pipes were bad. After some major backup and cracked pipes, they had to completely redo my piping and they did all this using the crawl space under my house, which avoided tearing through the floors or wall. They completed this huge project under 2 days and now it is running perfect. Easy to work with and don't try to overbid a job just to make an extra dollar. Highly recommend!

After a delivery service dropped off the new washer and dryer without providing the correct parts, and having corroded valves to the point that we could not remove the hoses, I was in a bind.
I left a voicemail with Bird Dog Plumbing and within a few minutes had received a phone call from Don saying that he would be able to swing by in just a little while and get it looked at. I assumed that meant 30 minutes, but about 5 minutes later he called to say he was on his way.
Don quickly assessed the situation, was able to fix the problems quickly, including working in very tight spaces in a small laundry closet. He also had the parts that we needed on his truck and was able install, connect and make sure everything was functioning properly before leaving.
Definitely will be reaching out to Bird Dog Plumbing again.

I was very pleased with the service I received this morning from Bird Dog Plumbing. Last night, our Kitchen sink drain got plugged up pretty badly and wouldn't drain. As an awesome (gross) bonus, there was just enough room for sewer gas to seep through - making our house smell like a cesspool.

I called the guys at Bird Dog simply based on their proximity to my house. The 5-star rating was a bonus. They were very pleasant on the phone, and were able to slot in a stop at my house to fix the drain. Their team of 2 was fast, efficient and very friendly. They rooted the plugged up drain and checked all my connections to make sure I was good to go.

Bravo to Bird Dog. Will definitely use them again. Hopefully, I won't need them too soon though!

A service oriented business that certainly delivers on service. I had to call for a water leak and while they were not able to come on the same day (not a big deal, it had obviously been leaking for a while), they did come the next day. I was given a window of time to expect them AND got a call when they were on their way- without having to ask. The water leak was repaired and another issue that I had quite forgotten about was brought to my attention and fixed as well. No fuss, no muss. The repair costs seemed fair and reasonable. I will definitely keep Bird Dog on file for future calls.

I would highly recommend this company! I called because our toilets were loose and we were concerned about the seals being broken. They were able to work around my hectic schedule, arrived on time and fixed the problems that we had. As a bonus, my husband needed help with our gas patio heater and Don was so great about jumping right in and fixed the gas line for us! Don was also wonderful with our two not so small dogs! We recently moved to Phoenix from the mid-west and bought an older home in central Phoenix that needed, what I thought was minimal plumbing work; new kitchen faucet, disposal (there wasn't one) and a gas line so that we could replace the electric range with gas. I found Don on Yelp and called him. Don returned my call the same day and did the kitchen work within a day leaving everything clean. He even cleaned the hard water stains from the counter-top where the old faucet had been.
Some days later, while we were installing our washer and dryer (with much difficulty) the water turn-on valve snapped off and resulted in dripping water in the laundry room. I called Don, on a Saturday, he came over within 30 minutes, and had the leak stopped...he later reworked the plumbing in the laundry room and installed sinks in both the laundry room and garage. Don is great to work with, knowledgeable and professional. I'm so pleased to have found a great plumber and will definitely call him again.

They arrived at my house promptly, did an outstanding job cleaning out and snaking the kitchen pipes in my older home, and did a very thorough job cleaning up when they were finished. I highly recommend this plumber, I needed a gas valve installed and Don was able to come to my home the same day. After doing the install he had to light the pilot light for the water heater, when we remove the panel to re light we saw the water heater was leaking, mind that this water heater was 15 years old, I was elated that we caught this before the water heater totally failed. Don and Stephan were able to install a new water heater at a very reasonable price, I know because I was shopping around for new water heaters as I knew water heaters typically don't last 15 years. He also was able to repair a leaky vacuum pressure breaker. Needless to say I am overly satisfied with their customer service.

I needed help installing my gas range. After trying myself on a Friday night, I realized it wasn't working so I called Bird Dog Plumbing at 8:30pm. To my surprise, they answered the phone and agreed to come out the next day (Saturday)! They were easy to work with and very communicative, texting me updates on when they'd arrive.

They came in, quickly installed the range, and made sure everything work. I was very pleased with the service I received and would gladly call them again. I plan on reaching out to them soon for future plumbing questions!

I can't recommend Bird Dog Plumbing enough, these guys were fantastic in every respect. We had a backed up kitchen sink, and exhausted our DIY options before placing a desperate call to Bird Dog. I was told that they were quite busy that day, but could come right over and take care of it now if I was at home. And he wasn't kidding, Rob and Don were at my house in no time at all.

The clog turned out to be much farther down the pipes than I expected, and they worked through every inch thoroughly. They took the time to answer any question I threw their way; these guys were total pros. They cleaned up meticulously when they were done and you wouldn't even know I'd had major drain clearing done, except for the fact that the sink now drains faster than it ever has the whole 6 years I've lived in my house! The price was also very reasonable, and less than what I was quoted on the phone by the first plumber I called.

Not that I want to need to hire a plumber again soon, but when I (inevitably) do, I think I've found the best ones in town!

Responsive to my quote request and questions, arrived on schedule, charged what they quoted. Two guys working so the 5 small plumbing projects I had in different parts of my house were completed in half the time it would have normally taken. They left each area clean.

I actually had them quote a few preventative repairs to replace old cheap shutoff valves under 2 sinks and a toilet 5 months ago. I hesitated at the very very fair cost at the time and decided to wait since nothing was actually broken or not working at the time. Well, fast forward to now and one of the old valves started leaking so I dug up the old quote and told them how embarrassed I was that I hadn't done the preventative service and it was now a must-do repair. Not that I would expect anyone to honor a quote that old, but they did charge the same as they quoted earlier. They knew I was now in a situation where I had to have it done vs wanting to have it done and did not take advantage of me. They also didn't make me feel $#!++y about my embarrassment of being a big dummy that didn't take care of something I knew was bad before it became a problem.

I called and they were able to come to my house and fix it in under and hour, in what world does that usually happen and on a Saturday no less? Their price was fair and reasonable, I would highly recommend them and will call them in the future if I have another plumbing crisis!

My second time using Bird Dog. Don appears to be a knowledgeable person. However without hesitation, insulted some laborious cosmetic DIY work I did which was unsolicited and unnecessary. Complained about the difficulty of the repair. Thanks but I called another plumber to complete my repair who was much more respectful and interested in assisting.

Don and Bird Dog have been my plumber for the last 5 years or so. In that span, he's fixed a slab leak, replaced a leaking pipe, replaced a water heater and a garbage disposal. In every case, the work was top notch. Just as important, Don takes the time to accurately assess the problem, and outline the repair options. He is the best!

Another top notch YELP referral. I called Don based on prior YELP reviews and was not disappointed. Don and his assistant came over and fixed not one but two problems in a timely and affordable manner. As others have said Don loves dogs (and cats too)! He's a great guy, does great work and is honest and fair. I highly recommend Bird Dog and will be calling on them for any plumbing needs in the future.

Don does great work and could not have been more efficient! I required a gas line to be moved behind a gas range in the kitchen, so the range would fit flush against the wall. He completed the job fast and was priced competitively. Thank you!

These guys are amazing! Hired them to fix a leaky toilet and replace some drains on my bathroom sinks. To save me some cash, they recommended I reach out to the manufacturer of my faucet to get free replacement parts under my warranty instead of paying them to order for me - honesty and integrity like that is hard to come by! Once the parts arrived, they showed up on time and completed their work quickly at an affordable price. Bonus points that they are dog-lovers too :)

I have rarely written reviews online, but felt compelled to write this one because of the exemplary experience I have had with Bird Dog Plumbing. We recently bought an older home in a new neighborhood and we experienced a multitude of unanticipated plumbing issues. Don (and Rob) have been great! Solving problems, troubleshooting others. They are prompt, professional and personable. A couple of times I had urgent needs and they seemed to arrive before we got off the phone. In short, give Bird Dog a call. You will not be disappointed.

This was our 2nd time using Bird Dog Plumbing and it won't be the last. Overall, honest and professional. Would recommend to anyone.

Don texted me back on a Sunday and provided a quote for our issue (a leaking shut-off valve). He and his colleague, Stefan, arrived on time Monday morning and worked quickly in a very tight space. Don is very knowledgeable and honored the original quote. They were both willing to wear masks in our house.

Don is a fellow dog parent and was very kind to both of our dogs :)

We have Bird Dog plumbing over to work on our toilet before Thanksgiving. This is the second time I've called them, because THEY. ARE. AMAZING.

1. They ADORE dogs. They have dog barks and bird calls as their ring tones. Whenever they come over, my dog gets allllll the love from them, and when they sit down to take a minute, they call him over and he lays on their laps. They are the sweetest with animals!

2. They LOVE kids! They smiled and talked to my toddler, the looked through a magnifying glass with my 11 year old. They talk to kids like they're people, and it never feels like my kids are in their way. They're alight with smiles and it's always pleasant having them over.

3. They have an awesome attitude and are extremely helpful in explaining whatever is going on, and are generous with tips on how to prevent future visits, and will even show me what exactly they did, so I can do it in the future myself!

4. They're super reasonable! I think it's something like 80 for the house call, plus the cost of labor and whatever parts we'd need to buy that they didn't already have on hand. Other plumbers we've called have been something like 120 for the house call, plus parts.

I. LOVE. THESE. PLUMBERS. They are sweet, happy, animal friendly, kid friendly, reasonably priced, and total advocates for learning how to manage your own plumbing, even when it means you'll end up calling less. :p

So, normally I don't do these kinds of business posts, but OMG I love them so much, and they're so cute with their ring tones and animal/kid love, that I really just have to tell you guys about them.

I found them because they had a 5 star rating on yelp, and now I totally see why. These guys are awesome!

Oh, and they're super fast too! I called them two days ago, and even in the week of Thanksgiving, they're over at my house, working on my toilet!

Our kitchen sink and garbage disposal was having issues so we called Bird Dog and they were available to come that same day. They were in and out in about an hour and resolved the issue. We're going to have them come back and check on some other things too shortly. Very professional and quality work.

I have the same story as most on Yelp. Water heater was leaking and Don came out on a weekend night. Said he would replace it the next Saturday so I didn't have to take off work. Was on time, friendly to my dog which is unusual as she is not friendly with anyone, and replaced the heater quickly and at low cost. Would recommend Bird Dog highly.

Our water heater went out at about 6pm last night. Saw the great reviews for Bird Dog Plumbing and gave em a ring. Don answered, and talked through what was goin on. Quickly gave me a quote, which was right in line with what I was expecting. Said he could try to squeeze me in before his next appointment, the very next morning! Don was there 20 minutes early and ready to work. Very polite and professional and overall couldn't be happier. Definitely will call Don next time for any plumbing issues.

Don and Rob were awesome! We had a hose bib that would not shut off and a shower that had been leaking for months. A previous plumber had looked at our shower and told us that we would have to replace the entire faucet. Don took one look, said we needed a new cartridge, which they had, and a few minutes later no more leaking! They were very affordable, proficient and friendly. Ditto on being dog lovers, too. They are the only plumbers we will ever call.

I had an excellent experience with Don (owner and operator of Bird Dog Plumbing) when I hired him to install a Pressure Reducing Valve. He arrived on time and ended up charging me less than originally quoted because the work did not require as much re-routing of piping as anticipated. I will definitely be reaching out to Bird Dog Plumbing first for future plumbing needs or questions.

He did a great job removing the old faucet, which was put in previously in an odd fashion (which prompted the call to Bird Dog Plumbing in the first place) when the kitchen was remodeled, and replaced it with the new faucet. Really impressed! Service call worked around my schedule. Repaired leak in water softener discharge pipe in my laundry room ceiling that was in a very tough spot to reach. Had to cut through more of the drywall to make repair, left the job cleaner than they found it. Also fixed another problem I sprung on them while there that required cutting off a shower handle that wouldn't play nice. Prices were more than fair. Very personable and great customer service. I will call them again for my next plumbing need.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience with these guys. Called them and they were able to accommodate my schedule quickly to get a new toilet installed and replace some of our kitchen plumbing. They were very thorough on the job and did not leave until the issues were addressed to my satisfaction. They were extremely courteous of the house and were very diligent in keeping all things clean while working. Have to say they were a great duo to have come fix some of my plumbing issues in the new house and I will call them in the future for any plumbing needs.

Hire these guys. There's nothing better than working with good people. Bird Dog Plumbing solved a problem I couldn't handle, gave me a solid estimate, it was really fair, and they explained what they did. And they're a couple of guys I'd go have a beer with. And dog lovers, like myself.
