With an acre lot and 7 neglected palo verde trees our property needed a lot of work. Francisco came out and did a beautiful job trimming all of the trees, weeding,  trimming bushes, etc. He is very easy to work with and attentive to details.

After getting several bids & opinions I went with Best Deal Landscaping.  Dennis is very knowledgeable and came up with some great design ideas.  The crews did a great job installing the new pavers & grass turf; Dennis did everything and more to make sure we were satisfied with their work and always keep us up to date with the progress & scheduling.  Bottom line the yard & driveway look great and this was a good experience & when we need more landscaping Best Deal Landscaping will be my 1st call.

Really happy with the tree trimming and fertilizing they did for our side yard.  These guys are great! Contacted them directly thru Yelp and They made it very easy to get quote and did the services the same day!  They were very competitively priced for tree trimming and included fertilizing. They saved our tree and cleaned up our yard really well after including blowing leaves and watering too! Thanks guys, highly recommend!

An awning company we worked with hired Desert Bloom to build a brick wall around the edge of our new concrete patio. They were terrific to work with. They cleaned up the area when they were finished. Very personable. They did fantastic work. They did show up a day later than they said which no one informed us about. However I fault the inept awning company in not informing us.

I hired Giardinelli landscape to re-landscape my front yard after seeing the beautiful job they did in my neighbor's yard. Annette is a very talented landscape artist and did a beautiful job on my yard as well.

Have used these guys a handful of times now and they've always done a great job at a fair price.  They're quick, get the job done professionally, and clean up after themselves so aside from the trimmed trees you wouldn't even know they'd been there.  Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends/family and will definitely call them next time we need anything done around our place.

Jake was very professional, prompt and did good work. Would highly recommend for any landscape needs.

We had Mesquite do our back yard even though they were not the cheapest but I that Juan gave us some suggestion that we didn't think about but liked.  So he said it will take couple of days to finish.  I was like wow okay.  Well, it took 2 weeks but that was okay because there were some cement works to be done and it's a big yard with few tree trunks to be taken out and etc.  Weird thing was they first dug out the backyard so it was clean slate then they started to put the pavers and gravels and flagstones.  They didn't put the irrigation for our two fruit trees that was in the back.  When everything was done it was beautiful.  I was so happy.  But I didn't see irrigation for our trees and when I asked Juan he said don't worry then they dug the gravels and put the irrigation on.  

I was like what??? Don't they do this before putting in the stuff.  Now our gravels which was perfect was dirty with our red soil. He said all the irrigation for the back is cut off and only the new irrigation for the trees were working.  Then they left.  Well the next day we notice our backyard started to pool water in some parts of paved areas and gravel areas and flagstone areas.  We called and Juan told me to send him some photos of the yard where there was problem.  So I did, and he said they will come tomorrow.  Well he didn't come and no phone calls.  I waited the whole day and called him back the next.  He sent one guy and again he dug up the gravels and did stuff and said for sure this time everything is off except for the trees.  So first time they said this was a lie?  Anyway this was so stressful unlike our front yard project which was no stress just easy.  

The next day I saw one of our flagstone looked wet.  I turned off all irrigation to dry for 3 days. But it didn't dry and our dogs didn't pee there because they don't pee on flagstones or pavers.  They like gravel for bathroom duty.  So I called Juan and left voice message.  Also took a picture of the flagstone that looked wet and took it again after 3 days to prove that it didn't dry.  It had same pattern of wetness for 3 days.  I text him many times no reply and no phone calls.  I have text proving he didn't respond and I text him politely for help.  Well after the stress we searched website and found that sometime flagstones can get stains and it could be that if the wet pattern doesn't change at all.  I am happy with the looks of the backyard but if I had to do it again I would have gone with Urias for sure.  I did not like this stress.  I will have to say if you do go with Mesquite don't pay them full until one week of finished work just in case there is problem.  I wish I did.

It frustrates me to leave this type of review due to the good start to the experience I had with this company and Omar. I left work to review my goals and expectations for the work being performed and future projects needed. We agreed that Chávez Lawncare would be able to address the concerns I had and would provide a quote. The first step was a clean up to get the yard back to a great aesthetic point and then more in depth projects could be addressed. I forked out $260 for general yard clean up with the removal of 1 bush and 1 extremely small palm. I had previously informed Omar that my top priority was cleaning up the rocks due to years of no one previously tending do this issue (we just moved in in april) he agreed that by raking and blowing this issue would look much better and have quite an improvement. I came home to the rocks not even touched and although the other basic clean up and haulaway had been addressed I was still left with the same untouched debris matted down into my rocks with absolutely no effort shown at all to improve the concern. I politely reached out and also included pictures of my concerns with the quality of workmanship and was met with a disrespectful and flat out rude remark in return. I hired a professional to help with my yard, forked out hundreds of dollars, and when something hadn't been addressed and I asked about it I was met with a lack of pride in workmanship and rude comments. The response I received was...I'm afraid you are expecting something too perfect. Don't want to be appear rude. But we went above and beyond to deliver the best results possible. The amount of the debris that was removed exceeded anything I expected. This is what I was referring to when we had our conversation. It's practically impossible to remove every last bit of debris. My apologies if I didn't explain it better. 1.The conversation we had only talked about how improvements could be made. 2. I can post pictures of any square foot you would like to see where absolutely no attempt was made to improve the quality of the rocks appearance. 3. I hired a professional to do a job and paid a premium to have it done. It sounds to me by this response that because the debris removed exceeded your expectation you decided ehh I'm done, that's all I'm going to do. Which sounds much more like laziness and poor work ethic...

All I want is for the work to be performed at a level that represents the value I invested my money in  if that cannot be attained then I suppose this will just stand as a review warning others of the possible issues you may encounter.

The owner of this establishment is condescending, disrespectful & unprofessional, if they have so much business why bother advertising & not bothering with prospective customers

Jesus and his team came out and did quick, expedient, quality work. Everyone on his team was polite and did an excellent job. Very fair pricing and easy to work with and talk to. Would recommend to anyone looking to get their yard/landscaping done.

I hired this company to perform a front and backyard cleanup, remove weeds.  I was very specific to not remove any shrubs or cacti and a price was agreed upon to remove weeds and clean up my property.  The conversation was in Spanish as he said it was easier for him to understand and I am fluent.  I got home from work to find him using a lawn mower to remove the weeds and he had plowed over all of my shrubs and small cacti, exactly the opposite of the instructions.  Not a weed wacker or rake in site and he was using a gas blower to try and remove all of the debris he had created.  When I approached him and reminded him that he was only suppose to remove the weeds, he proceeded to tell me it must have been a misunderstanding on his part.  Valencia-Torres actually admitted to having made a mistake.  He was just trying to get the work done as quickly as possible.  When I asked him about the backyard that, thank goodness, had not been touched he lied and stated it was not included in the price but that I could hire him for biweekly or monthly maintenance.  He would slowly finish the job but only if I hired him at 100 dollars a visit.  As if after he destroyed my front yard I would be stupid enough to hire him for any further work.  Needless to say I had to hire another landscaper who was shocked at the destroyed  yard that was filled with stumps and shredded greenery. The new landscaper actually used a weed wacker and raked like you are supposed to. Now I have to spend twice as much money to replace everything Valencia Torres mowed over.  Each young shrub is costing me 25 to 30 dollars and with about 3/4 of an acre he destroyed (I am on about an acre and a half), it will not be cheap.  Valencia Torres mowed over my entire front and side yard so it's estimated at 2000 dollars of damage not including the labor to put it in. When I phoned the business number that originally was used to call me, they said there was nothing they could do and even threatened to remove any bad reviews I would give them.  Do yourselves a favor and avoid this company.
