After I left a bad review below, they finally contacted me to say they would come out and move the rock and lay the paper. They also asked me to change my review to be more positive as you see below. But they only laid the paper in some areas. It is not throughout my yard. This was NOT my error, and I got a half assed job in correcting it. I paid in full for a j0b that wasnt even done correctly, the second time around.  Definitely not worth it.

Valentin and his hard-working and amazing crew were at our house again today.....ALL DAY! They completely revamped our front yard. New plants, rip-rap and complete irrigation. Looks absolutely wonderful! Valentin is professional, honest, answered every one of our questions, actually answered his phone or immediately called us back.....I honestly can't say enough about him, his crew or their work. My sister stopped by our house this afternoon and passed our house because it was so unrecognizable!!! If we ever need anything else, Valentin will be our go to! I HIGHLY recommend him!!!

If you're like me, you have no experience with doing a yard renovation and don't know who to trust. You've heard the nightmare stories and talked with at least 10 different businesses to find the right person to take on your project.

You can stop looking now. From our first interaction with Rafa, his professionalism and understanding was immediately evident. He spent most of the time listening, really listening, to what we were struggling with and what we wanted to see in our yard. He was responsive and provided extremely high-quality modern designs. We were very nervous about the design and materials, and Rafa came over to our house with a bunch of samples to sooth our nerves. Of the 5+ bids we got on the yard renovation, Envision was in the middle, but our relationship/trust with Rafa was one of the most important parts of our decision.

We were prepared to sign the project documents and get started when we received some news that changed our life situation, and had to scale back our budget and timeline significantly. Rafa handled the change with supreme professionalism and we were able to work out a new plan to fit the new budget. Rafa didn't have to do that, and we are very appreciative that he did.

For the project itself, we had the weeds/grass removed from our yard, an drip irrigation system installed, replaced our worn artificial turf, and covered the yard with existing rock. The workers were very professional and respectful of our property. When it came time to finalize the plan for the artificial turf, Alberto came to the property and marked out all the options and talked to us about each one. We had one small incident where our water was off for most of a day when installing the irrigation system, but I reached out to Rafa and he immediately resolved the delay.

Our project finished a few days ahead of time and on budget. Overall it was a great experience and we would recommend Envision Landscape and Design to friends and family looking for these services. I'll try to include some photos, but most of the work (weed/grass removal and irrigation system) can't be seen.

The entire process was smooth. Bobby came over and provided and estimate and answered all my questions. The team that installed the turf were hard working and got it done quickly. I love my new yard it looks so much better!

Great Experience with this company.  We needed a new irrigation system and landscaping.  Everything happened exactly as it was explained to us and the work was completed in a timely manner.  The price was very fair and more competitive than the big guys.  Small family owned is the way to go!!  So happy with our yard now.  We would definitely use them again.

I have utilized Velasco's yard service for several years. They do an exceptional job maintaining our landscaping. They promptly fix any issues with the irrigation system. Very friendly and courteous. Alex and his crew provide excellent customer service.

Miguel & Manny were a pleasure to work with. Their prices were competitive and they were able to get their team working on our backyard within the week.

The hiccups: (1) the day they were coming to quote the work no one showed up at the scheduled time. When we inquired when we should expect someone, we were told there were car troubles (no idea how true that is since they seemed to drive well-maintained vehicles) but this was remedied quickly, and Miguel showed within the hour; (2) the dumpster they hired to remove our old cement, we were told would be picked up that same day. The following day it was still there, so we text Manny in the late afternoon just to make him aware. No response, but it was picked up the morning on day 2 , and we noticed Miguel oversaw the pick up; (3) when the cement was going to be laid about a week after the initial work, Victor showed up the day before to verify measurements. He said either Miguel or Manny would be in touch with us about the time they would arrive the following day (something they had also told us prior to leaving the previous week). When we had still heard nothing by the early morning that the work would be done, we initiated contact by text. Manny got back to me within the hour, and the cement crew arrived within 45 minutes of that text. That said, they both came and inspected the work both days prior to their crew finishing for the day.

The work: We had them remove an already fractured cement pad and old built-in fire pit we rarely used. We requested backfill dirt in the half of the area that we have yet to figure out what we'll yet do with it, and they laid new cement in the other half. They also removed an old lantana that had been planted far too close to the house by a previous resident, moved our old irrigation around the side of the house, and added an pvc spigot closer to what will be our gardening area.

Overall, we were content with the work and their prices. While communication wasn't 'terrible', there did seem to be an odd bit of disconnect. Still, our project was very basic and not overly time sensitive, so it was nothing that would keep us from considering them again for future projects. Probably my favorite aspect of the communication is that much of it was by text which is far more direct.

Best money spent!! I try to stay on top of the weeds in my yard but unfortunately with all of the rain, they took over. I called Custom Weed & Pest Control. They responded incredibly fast, set up an appointment within a couple days and 4 days later... my weeds are dead. I couldn't be happier with the service and I will definitely be using them in the future to keep the weeds at bay. They are prompt, friendly and efficient. Highly recommend!

I had a time scheduled to meet. They didn't bother showing up, and didn't bother to contact me. When i sent them a message that evening asking what happened they said they had a lot of work.

If you can't make an appointment, have the decency to let the people know instead of leaving them hanging. It would have taken what, 15 seconds to call/text and say you couldn't make it?

Sam was awesome throughout the whole process. Very friendly and communicative. He was able to come out and quote us the next day after contacting him for removal/cutting of a tree that went down during heavy rain. He was able to fit us in schedule within 3 days and price was great. Most definitely will be contacting him for landscaping needs. I recently purchased a home that had been a neglected rental for many years. Irrigation/sprinkler lines had been cut and the backyard had been without water for an unknown amount of time. I searched landscape companies on Yelp and contacted 5 of them via email to request a consultation. Irene with Greenheart Landscapes was the only person out of 5 to give me the courtesy of a response. We met at my house and we brainstormed on what to do for my sad yard. She had some great ideas and is very knowledgeable and creative. Irene was also supportive of my idea to use some materials I already had on the property. When I received the quote, it clearly showed everything broken down with a description and I felt her prices were fair. Irene advised me I could do some now and some later and that is what I decided to do. Phase 1 was completed in 4 days by her amazing team. They are true professionals. Their work was very detailed and they did an amazing job of cleaning up at the end of the project, allowing me to simply enjoy my new, beautiful yard. I would highly recommend Irene and her team for your landscape project and I look forward to working with them on Phase 2 of my project in the near future.

I called to get someone to give me an estimate on getting my backyard area more pavers. I spoke with Mike for less then 1 minute. Before I could describe much of the job he said it was not worth his time. I anticipated this being a $2000 job, so I guess good for them for thinking that kind of money was not worth their time?

The Green Valley crew just left and I am very pleased with their work.  I had a large, dead eucalyptus tree in my backyard that needed to be removed.  I called Green Valley Tree Specialists after someone on Nextdoor.com recommended them and I'm so glad I did.  Their quote was very reasonable and they did great work.  The crew was professional and prompt and I'm amazed at how quickly they got my big ol' tree out of my yard.  They ground down the stump and cleaned up every last leaf.  Would 100% use them again and recommend them to friends/family/neighbors.

Miquel quoted a price to cleanup landscaping, next morning job was completed.  Affordable pricing.

Sal's team was very responsive and communicative. They knocked out a landscape cleanup (removed a hot tub stand/deck), irrigation repairs, planted a new tree, and laid down new sod.

I am truly impressed by Hector and his men.  First they do excellent work.  Hector always and the work is wonderful.  They go back over the lawn when mowing is finished and blow and clean the deck and walkways where mowing clippings have fallen.  Next they check all all the irrigation nozzles to make sure that all is working correctly.  Then he adjust the timing of the water system.  He weeds the flower bed and trims the shrubs if needed.
Such a very pleasant change from what I used to have.  
Further, Hector is a very pleasant young man who is just a good nice person.
I highly recommend their services.
