I continue to be amazed that some service companies don't seem to need the work; it is difficult to get them to respond to inquiries and to show up to do the work.  So, I was delighted to get a friendly voice on the phone who agreed to look at our work. They completed all work we had been collecting for several years--replacing fixtures and an exhaust fan, replacing hard-to-reach bulbs, and other miscellaneous electrical work. They never showed up and we called multiple times and they never called back and their voicemail was full. Super un-professional and we are not happy.

Jim came recommended from Scioto Valley. He was very timely on doing the hook up, but part of the agreement was for him to get a electrical permit. When I brought up getting the permit he said technically you do need a permit, but we don't have to. he said he does lots of hot tub installs and doesn't get permits. I asked him to get the permit. Three month later still no permit, he hasn't even filed for the permit. I checked with the city. Avoid this contractor.
