As a first time homebuyer, I'd never called an electrician before. I only knew horror stories from others of $1000+ bills. So, of course, I was anxious. Did my homework reviewing local companies. The name definitely stuck out (as well as other lovely reviews), so I called up Lords of Thunder. Jason is very upfront about his prices, which I definitely appreciated. He came out a few days later and got to work. I bought an older house, where everything was supposedly brought up to code (I'm starting to think that's just a gimmick). He started investigating from the source, and followed everything along to find the issue. He was so detailed, and searched the house from basement to attic looking for the issues. Two hours of work and he found the problems, fixed them, and had a report written out of everything he did. And the price was very VERY reasonable. I could tell he really took pride in his work and did his best to solve our issues. I highly recommend Lords of Thunder for any electrical issues you have. And if you're like me, new to all this stuff, don't worry! It's not as shocking as I thought it'd be ;)

Got royally hosed by several supposed contractors  Friend recommended Efficient Electric.  WOW, what a surprise.  Their people were very professional and pleasant to deal with, from the gal who answered the phone to the estimator that came to my home to the techs who came out and did the work.  Very reasonable pricing, prompt time frames and extremely thorough.  Won't call anyone else or recommend anyone else other than Efficient.  I just wish they did plumbing too!!!!

Have used this company several times for plumbing and roofing. Extremely fast response, exemplary service, very fair pricing and great quality of work. I can't recommend them highly enough. My mom is in her mid 90's and lives alone with no family within hours of her.  Bill Goodknight has gotten someone to her emergency in hours.

We have used May Electric multiple times since we moved into our house.  John the owner goes above and beyond for his customers.  He is easy to get a hold of and his prices are completely fair.  I have also met at least 3 of his employees and they are kind and hard working.  This company actually cares about its customers and it shows in their work.    

The first project May Electric did was dig a trench in our backyard to run electric from our house to our detached garage.  They installed two outlets, one light switch, and a fluorescent outdoor light.  I was so thrilled with how everything was done that day.

I then had May Electric install an outdoor outlet on the back of our house.  I even requested one that had 4 outlet specifically.  I guess they do not typically have those on hand.  So they made sure they had one on hand when they did the job.  I am so happy with my special request and how it looks / functions.  

Inside the house they have fixed an outlet that was not getting electricity to it and a light fixture that was not getting electricity to it.  And yes, we live in an old house.  I have found it necessary to have a good electrician that we can call.  John and May Electric are just that.  They are reliable, fair priced, efficient, and knowledgeable.

In fact just the other day when it was 12* outside, our electricity went out in our house and it was not on AEP's end.  We reached out to John and within hours he sent Eric to check it out.  He didn't want us to go through the night with no electricity.  That is the kind of amazing service and compassion John has for his customers.

We would be lost without John and May Electric.  If you are looking for a trust worthy and reliable electrician please consider giving John a call or a text.

Brian and team of Masters Electric did a great job.  We had a number of residential light fixtures needing to be installed and Masters did it well and in good time. They also offered competitive pricing. I recommend Masters Electric.

Had called several other companies without an answer. They called back within 15 minutes and were at my home a few hours later. Very professional and the pricing was definitely fair. They were done within 30 minutes and I couldn't have been more pleased with the whole experience.

I went down to my basement this morning and water was coming out of the ceiling. I called 25th hour and they had someone out in about 40 minutes. The first place I called offered an appointment tomorrow afternoon.  I would have floated away by then. The guy who came out was able to find the issue fairly quickly. He explained it to me thoroughly in case it happens again. He was also very polite and personable.

Nick is courteous and efficient. When we bought our house, there were electric lines running over the drywall in plastic arms running to the light switch. It looked tacky so Crafty Electric buried them in the wall for us. When he got in there, Nick saw that when the ceiling fan was installed it wasn't done to code, so he fixed that for us too. If you have questions, he will explain things in a way that you can understand even if you aren't an electrician. We would definitely hire him again.

Called Exact about converting my hot tub from 110 to 220, less than a week ago and today Mark and Steve came out to do the work, they were both very professional and knowledgeable I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs work done. Prices are competitive with other BIG name companies, but this is a small business and I am all for helping small businesses grow.

Excellent communication from beginning to end!  We had a small electrical problem we just couldn't figure out on our own. We called Buckeye Electric and they understood the problem and scheduled us in quickly to remedy the problem, even apologized that they couldn't get there immediately. On the day they were to come they had a few jobs ahead of us run over and they called us to let us know and worked with us to ensure we could accommodate the shift in times. So much better than the standard 4 hour window so many places want!  The problem was identified quickly and fixed with no fuss. Yay!

Originally from Columbus but have not lived here in over 23 years.  Had no connections with electric and plumbing companies to help my sister out on repairs she needed.  This company came highly recommended to me after pulling my hair out with other companies from a good friend.  Sarah was wonderful and professional. Wayne was a shining light and worked with me to resolve some things we were trying to achieve.  The electrician, Ken they sent out was nothing but the best Ive seen.  

From a handyman of promises, plumbers and electricians that were all far from what I am used to is when Electric Connections was introduced to me.  I cannot express enough how professional, customer service oriented they are and were competitively priced.  This company deserves nothing less than a star rated 5.  I wish I could take them with me when I go back home.  

Many thanks to Sarah and Wayne for all of their help.  They helped me so much in more ways then electric.  They helped me gain faith back in contractors.

So pleased. I had problems with a very outdated electric panel. I had called other companies.  When I called Reli Electric, I knew I had the right one.  He was very knowledgeable and helpful.  I had the panel replaced.  This guy did a great job for a fair price. He also replaced a bad thermostat, and saved me money by telling me what was not necessary.  I have already called him back for other work, and will not hesitate to call him for any electrical work I need.

Recently bought a house that needed some electric work. Had Survivor come out check for any safety issues and get the place grounded. They are fast, efficient, and personable.

I took a chance with this company even though there were no reviews for me to compare and I want to say that I am pleased with the work they completed.  I was later informed that today was their first day advertising on yelp, so hey I took a chance and it worked out perfectly. They replaced my 100amp breaker panel with a 200 amp service they were informative, polite, and respectful and $250 cheaper than everyone else!!! Great job guys and you definitely made not only a customer but a friend

To install ONE outlet, they want $477.95
Converse Electric wants $37 for an outlet (actual cost for this item is $0.068)
Converse wants $17 for a plastic outlet cover (actual cost $0.63)
Converse wants $73 for a plastic work box ( actual cost $0.79)
Plus $261 to run the wire less than 3 feet and another $89.95 just to show up.  $477.95 for one outlet.  7 other companies have bid this for me and the HIGHEST price was $163.  This is atrocious and insulting.  I was so baffled by the numbers, I contacted their office just to make sure everything was written up correctly.  Emily so rudely notified me that the prices were correct and included labor.  PURE CRAZINESS!  Do not use this company!!!!!!!!!!!

Look out for this contractor! I had them do the electrical on my room addition and it was nothing but a bad experience, and the work was not Quality.
