Mr. Sims made time in his busy schedule to come look at an electrical problem I've been having with my a/c wiring for over a month now.  He and his brother were very professional, came in masks and took the time to assess the issue. While this specific issue was not  their area, Mr. Sims recommended a licensed professional who was able to do the work.  It was especially timely since I'd had several popular vendors to come out but they were unable to diagnose the problem or actually fix the issue.  

Perhaps the best part of the experience was the follow up to make sure my issue was taken care of.  Customer service from this team was amazing and I highly recommend this business.

Called T&D to install motion lights for our dark walkway.  Rodrigo was on time, reviewed the projects and provided information and also suggested the type of device to install that would provide the most light.  We purchased the devices, called T&D and specifically requested that Rodrigo return.  He returned this morning on time and completed the job.  He was so nice and efficient.  Highly recommend T&D and Rodrigo!

Had a bad outlet in the garage.  Called Ted Monday morning and he came by and replaced the bad GFCI outlet.  Ted was knowledgeable and friendly, would definitely use Ted again!

Joe installed LED cabinet lighting for my kitchen and fireplace cabinet. He did a great job, taking his time to ensure the job was done right and that the work area was kept clean. Definitely will contact Joe for electrical jobs in the future!

Chris is very responsive, honest and good at what he does. He is the person to call for quick and easy fixes - he says he specializes in service calls (installing light fixtures, troubleshooting things around your house). Definitely give him a call, he'll take care of your project quickly and professionally.

Greenline was prompt and easy to work with from the start - sent over some times that would work and showed up right on time.

We were having issues with the outlets on one wall going dead and Greenline was able to diagnose the issue quickly and get it fixed. They were also able to assess a standing desk (powered) that had suddenly stopped working and helped us get in contact with the manufacturer to submit a warranty claim on the internal motor components.

I had a malfunctioning outdoor light fixture.  Ryan came the same day as my call, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it quickly.  He was very friendly and we had a nice chat about life as he worked.  He is a breath of fresh air in a world where dealing with contractors is generally pretty darn irritating.

Absolutely amazing service and quality of work. This is not the first time I have left a review of Highlights Chicago, as they have done multiple projects for us at at multiple locations. They respond immediately and work up a proposal right away. The price is quite fair especially in light of the outstanding work and extremely friendly service. Boz and his team seem to love what they do because they seem happy while they work. They probably know how good they are and have tremendous confidence in their work. There has never been an issue they couldn't handle and they explain everything. They keep the work area clean and do a final cleanup before they leave. This is one of the best run businesses in all of Chicagoland. We live in Evanston and they have done work for us here and in Chicago. I could go on and on, so let's just say there is no reason to ever use any other electrical company.

Wow! We are so happy with our experience with Tweaks & Finishes.  Jose and Rodney were excellent communicators from start to finish. They listened to what we were hoping to achieve, gave their suggestions, worked speedily but with great precision, and made our place look fantastic!

I hired Jake and Urban Power to add two electrical meters and relocate the circuit breakers out of the garden unit to a common area so all tenants could have access to them at my 3-Flat property.  He is a master of his craft and did a great job providing solutions to the issues I presented and working efficiently on the install and relocation as well as managing the permitting process with Com-Ed.  He has deep experience working with rental properties and gave me some great insights to add value to the property including installing security lighting which I hired him to do as well.  I would highly recommend Jake and Urban Power for any electrical job big or small.

I found Blacklite Electric on Yelp while looking for an electrician to help install dimmers in a new condo in the West Loop. Called and spoke with Neville who gave me an estimate and came promptly the next day. Very friendly and professional - would highly recommend them.

Ted and his crew have been doing work on our Oak Park bungalow for a number of years. He's honest, reliable, fair, and accepts your problems as his own. I had Ted rewire a bunch of antique light fixtures for our basement. He not only got everything working, but helped figure out the best way to install to maximize functionality and beauty. He swapped out electrical fans. Installed sensor lights outside. Upgraded our amp panel. Generally, I trust that if I present Ted with a problem, he'll solve it and solve it at a reasonable rate.

Honest, transparent about costs, and delivered excellent work on time for installing an electric car charger. He looked up specs on the car company website, going the extra mile to ensure he did the best work.

I've had minor repair work that I've noticed living in my home for the past 10 years.. Whenever I'd get the enthusiasm to reach out to any other company on Yelp to request a quote, I'd be met with: That project is too small of a job, so we're not coming out for just that.  

I'm glad that I got the whim to check yelp again recently and came upon Fixer.com.  They charge hourly, so they don't really care if a job is too little.  You just start out by going on the website, creating an account, and then selecting a date/time (it can be the same day even), and then Jayme will respond right away to confirm the appointment.

I had a crumbling wall amongst many other issues in my home.  Jayme coordinated for Chang and Katie out to my home today and they did a fantastic job of tackling the problems I had requested to be addressed.  They were both very knowledgeable about what they were doing and they did a great job explaining things to me.  And I feel like they both had strong integrity, as they would state that they were stopping the clock whenever appropriate so that I wouldn't be charged for any moments where they weren't working.

I really appreciate that a service such as this exists for people who are not confident in repairing small jobs on their own.  I'm excited to continue to work with Fixer.com on other projects that I had been thinking about over the past 10 years.  I fully believe in them and have the utmost confidence in Katie, Chang, Jayme and the whole team.
