I recently used AC/DC Electrical twice in the last couple of weeks for some routine electrical work (outlets not working, switches, etc.).  Stefan promptly returned my call for a service request and we were able to get something on the calendars quickly. The day of the scheduled work, he was on-time, on budget, and my tenants said his work was well done and fast. I would highly recommend AC/DC for your electrical needs!

Dino and Eli fixed my electrical outage in my kitchen.  They installed a GFCI outlet and fixed the wiring.  The wires were crossed.  They explained everything to me so I understood the problem.  I also appreciate they were punctual and kept to the schedule.  Highly recommend them.

Had them put in special outlet for a treadmill and a chandelier in my bedroom. Guys did an awesome job and I love my chandelier!  Were also right on time!  Highly recommend!!!

Ted did such a great job installing two outdoor electrical outlets for us. He is professional, responsive, and worked quickly to get us a great result - all for an excellent price. We will definitely go back to Ted if we need electrical work.

Ryan is very professional, thorough, and provided excellent service.  He replaced a very old chandelier and three way switches.  He explained everything fully, quick and cleaned up afterward.  I'll be going to Ryan for all my future electrical needs.

I had called several electrical companies and they either didn't service my area Englewood, Chicago or were tied up with previous jobs. However, one referred me to Highlights Chicago THIS WAS THE BEST REFERRAL EVER! I called Highlights and within two days Boz from Highlights came out to give me an estimate. He was so cheery friendly professional and took his time, never rushing me as I explained our electrical problems. I got his proposal for the work within a day. It was detailed and gave pricing for each job. I accepted on Thursday and Highlights was at the property by Tuesday.  They arrived on time and Boz was there to introduce his three electricians- Wil, Geraldo and Ben.  They were so professional worked steadily in 86 degree weather only stopping for lunch-the job was an all day, literally accomplishment.  I am so pleased with the work it is a family occupied building and everyone is estatic with what was done in each of their apartments and the lights on the two back porches.  I would highly recommend these guys and if I need electrical work again there is no question what company I will be calling--Highlights Chicago!!

After attempting to install a new light fixture myself I ran into an electrical road block.  Jose of Tweaks & Finishes responded promptly to my request for an estimate, and scheduled the service call for the same day!  Jose, accompanied by Rodney arrived on time, and treated me and my home with such care and respect.  Jose was extremely knowledgeable, and quickly diagnosed my electrical problem-explaining the issue(s) found along the way.  A quick replacement of a burnt out dimmer switch restored my lighting, and mended the mess I created. Jose and Rodney also cleaned up the wires behind my many wall switches which they found to be a safety hazard, and installed my new ceiling light-all at a reasonable price within my budget.  Both gentlemen were kind, professional, and mindful-cleaning up after any small mess that was made.  I am thankful to have found Tweaks & Finishes, I am looking forward to using them again in the future for a painting project. Needed a Tesla wall charger installed in our garage.  Jake showed up on time and offered a few different options with full explanation of each.

Once we agreed on scope and price he went to work.  You could tell he has installed a ton of these.   Job was completed in a timely manner and he left the area cleaner than when he started.  

Charger has been used daily for a few months now without issue.  Would recommend.

Neville, owner of Blacklite, does a tremendous job of communicating (via text, which is fine by me) with regard to gathering project information, setting timelines, expectations, etc. I had him and his team install overhead recessed lighting in three rooms, a fan in one, and lighting under my kitchen counter. They did excellent work! Even after the overhead lighting they installed were defective out of the box (from the lighting manufacturer), they replaced them free of charge several days later...amazing customer service! Lastly, I really got the feeling that Neville was an honest guy and always tried to do what was best for me. I would highly recommend Blacklite for an electrical job and will use them in future should I have a need!

Needed two new light fixtures installed.  There was a mix up on schedule but they were able to send someone same day.  Issac did a great job and made sure everything back in place.

Could not recommend a better electrician!

I had a desire to install ceiling recessed lights and ceiling fans in a few rooms for some time. After doing some research on Yelp, I found Tom and gave him a call. We were able to set up a in-person consultation soon after, where he walked me through the options for recessed LED lights (4in vs 6in) and spacing of said lights. We agreed on an overall plan and start date.

During the project, Tom and his men were timely, clean, and very efficient in their work. They carefully calculated and marked out the placement of the lights and fan on the ceiling in each room for my approval before starting to cut into the drywall. In the end, they had to cut into a surprisingly small amount of the drywall to put everything together. In the two places in each room that they did have to open up the wall, they carefully replaced the drywall, saving me from having to make any large patches before repainting.

I wanted to use a particular smart dimming switch (Brilliant), but it was backordered and did not arrive in time. Tom hooked up everything using temporary switches and came back later to finish the job once they arrived.

Overall, I would definitely use Tom and his men again! I have a couple other projects around the house I've been thinking of (electric car charger, exterior light, replacing track lighting with more recessed lights, etc.) and plan to use Tom for these projects in the future!

Frank is very professional.  Showed up when he said he would, explained what he was doing, and even provided a lower price than what he first quoted.  I will definitely call him again for any electrical job.  Highly recommend!

Alex did a great job replacing a broken switch. He responded quickly to my initial request and was fast in communicating throughout the scheduling process. We are very happy with the quality of work.
We'll likely have to have most of our old wiring replaced and are looking forward to have Alex and his team back. Seems to be a newer company, and I'm glad we took a chance on them.

Katie and D'Angelo were total pros.  They wore booties to protect my flooring/carpet... they seemed to have every fix-it tool known to man and womankind.  Katie even has this intense infrared light leveler that was very cool.  

They hung an extremely large mirror over my couch and it looks awesome.  It makes the room.  And I never could have hung this mirror by myself.  

You guys only get five stars because Yelp doesn't allow 100.
