Not reliable.
We waited hours for the electrician. They never called to communicate delays. The guy ended up being a no-show. They ended up costing me at least $400 in lost work. I will never call them again. I Do NOT recommend them.

Did quite a bit of research to find an electrician. Decided on Strands. I picked them because their quote was thorough and it sounded like they really listened to what we wanted, and from looking at their pictures it seemed as though they had a commitment to quality (pictures of neatly cabled breaker boxes, etc).

They recently completed the work at our house (both inside & outside jobs). Quality and a high level of customer service and professionalism was delivered.  All at a fair price (and stayed as quoted).Thanks Strands!

I am not easily impressed, but this company is outstanding! I requested bids to install an EV charger from 4 different companies, 1 of whom was a no-show. Brent from Washington Energy was by far the most thorough and professional and gave me complete confidence that they were the right company to hire. Daniel and Cornelius did the install and they were on time, polite, professional, efficient and finished earlier than estimated. They did a great job and the city inspector confirmed that they did an excellent job. I would absolutely hire this company again! The interactions I had with everyone in this company were above and beyond - I'm definitely impressed.

The bathroom fan of our older condo wasn't working when we bought it and no one could help me replace the motor.  Have to buy a new fan unit they said to me.  Not so - went to Platt Electric who was able to order the replacement fan for me, came within the time frame they advised AND good customer service - even though I'm not an electrician and just a girl trying to replace my fan. Really doesn't get much better than that ... thanks guys!

Super helpful, great prices and awesome work. Had them rewire my entire kitchen and living room after knocking down two walls and install a 220 outlet in my garage. Would highly recommend.

We called them once to get our hot tub working again, I wish we would have called them first before we paid Aqua Quip!  They came out quickly and fixed the problem at the electrical panel in 15 minutes.  Since they have to charge a minimum of an hour (around $50, completely understandable - that's business), they stayed and tuned up the rest of the electrical panel, tightening everything down and coating the wires that lost their coating over the years.  After that good experience we called them again to install an outlet outside the house.  They thought it might take two electricians two hours and quoted me $200.  I thought that was fair. It only took them 30 minutes!  I paid the full amount without question, it was what I agreed to, and they do great work :)  I'll be calling them again for a quote to install a ceiling fan.

I had some dead outlets. I gave up trying to fix it myself. Called Paul and he came out sooner then expected. Paul and his assistant John were able to find the problem which was a very difficult, complex task.
Got it all fixed and I'm very happy and grateful. I would highly recommend!

AEW is above and beyond professional. As a General Contractor it is hard to find a solid electrician that is timely, honest and does great work. The work is clean and appreciate how everyday the job is clean and free of cut wires. Honest pricing and great communication. We will be using AEW on many of our future projects.

While getting ready to sell my condo, my building inspector discovered a problem with my electrical panel. I contacted Karlin, who answered his phone, and explained the situation. He asked me a few questions and requested photographs so he could properly understand.  I texted the photographs to him, and he responded very quickly letting me know that he could do the work later that same day and gave me the price via text. He kept me abreast of his schedule and contacted me when he was on his way. Once he arrived, he brought in all the parts he needed and fixed the problem very quickly.  He gave me several options for payment, and I chose Venmo.  I later decided I needed to get an invoice from him, and he sent one quickly upon request via email. The entire experience with Karlin was pleasant, quick and easy.  I will remember him for any of my future electrical needs.

I highly recommend this company. They are prompt and professional, and they do excellent work. Best of all -- they won't try to scam you into paying for work you don't need to have done, and they won't upsell you for things you don't need. I will never go to another electric company after using Mirsky.

I had a small job at one of my rentals and they were more than happy to come and get it handled.  They were fast and efficient and didn't rob my wallet.

Alee and his crew ran Cat 6 cables to almost 200 units in our 20 story high rise condo building. He was very helpful in the planning and HOA approval stage. They worked  fast, came up with creative solutions when running into problems, pricing was good and he was fantastic dealing with our home owners.  I would highly recommend him.

Updated all our old electrical in a 1910 craftsman while salvaging the lath and plaster. Did what he said he'd do, and did it on time.  Easy to work with.  Would recommend and would hire again.

We are repeat customers of Dahlgren Electric and whole-heartedly endorse Randy Dahlgren. He is not only an excellent electrician - his intelligence, organization and customer-focus means you will be getting a great result for the best price. Our electrical issues have included re-doing part of the electrical panel components to give us an improvement on the work done originally by the contractor (wish we had Randy back then!), as well as diagnosing several issues both inside and outside the house. This has included scheduling follow ups to bring the parts needed to complete the work - and the communication/coordination has been topnotch as well. I am so thankful we have a trusted contractor like Dahlgren Electric, it gives us such peace of mind to know there is someone we can count on like Randy!

I will say overall I had a good experience with these guys. I had an issue with my bathtub where it was leaking. I tried a few quick fixes on my own, but they did not solve the problem. I was contemplating attempting a bigger fix, but called a plumber first.

First thing is first They are on yelp. I wrote a message and they got back to me pretty quickly. I appreciate that a lot. At this point I have to be honest and state that all of this was about a year ago and I remember having no issues at all, but cannot remember the exact events that took place. The few things I remember are they were on time, quick, and seemed fair. Basically what I was hoping was going to be an easy fix, ultimately was, but was definitely something I would not be able to do. They knocked out the job in a hour or so. It was awesome.

Now here comes the negative aspect of the review. And before I get to this point let me once again say I was ultimately satisfied with the job, what they did was well done. After the work was done he wanted to take a look at the water heater to see if it needed to be replaced. This is when we determined it was 14-15 years old and probably needed to be replaced. This part didnt bother me a lot, but we have waited on the replacement and I definitely see that it needs to be replaced eventually, but I am glad i have waited so far. The part that was not great was getting a quote to replace the toilet. The price felt really high, now to be honest I cannot remember the exact number, but I think it was close to $250/toilet and closet o $500 to replace and purchase of a toilet. Now this price didnt seem crazy at the time, but my brother in law and I replaced my toilet with a new one in about 60-120 mins and it cost the price of the toilet and a case of beer. To sum up the negative I would call the work a bit pricey, and in the future will definitely shop around before choosing a single person. Also I would say the water heater thing was a bit predatory. Overall satisfied, but I will definitely shop around.

My husband fried a wire while trying to hang some drapes the other day so we scheduled with MD electrical. Tom came out today and fixed it right up! Not only was he friendly, professional and personable, but answered all of my questions and even fixed our smaller outlet and lighting issues. The cost was a lot cheaper than we thought it would be and we are so appreciative of Tom and the MD electrical team. We will definitely be going with them for any further electrical needs.

I was driving on 167 and truck number T249 was cutting people off, cutting me off, no blinker while switching lanes, and tail gating to the point where the truck has to swerve to avoid hitting the car in front of them. TERRIBLE DRIVER!

Pros:
Professional Demeanor:  All who entered my home were kind, pleasant, non obtrusive and professional even if their manager wasn't there.
Problem Solvers:  The men were good about doing work arounds due to the nature of the older home.

Cons:
Timeliness: My 3 day job took seven actually work days over 2 1/2 months with half of my electricity off in my home (due to an issue caused by the work and not agreed to by me).  They consistently arrived after 9 and left by 4 with a lunch.  When I asked for them to arrive earlier when I had work, they would say yes, but it didn't happen until I called the corporate office the day before the job was done.
Communication:  We had multiple issues with miscommunication.  Lovely conversations were had but Joe, the boss of the crew, didn't remember or misunderstood even when it was written down in the original order or I wrote it down for them.  This resulted in only part of the job being done (honest mistake but they lost the second part I would have gotten done by them due to these issues), my believing I would be without electricity for 4 weeks during summer when I am off and ending up waiting 8 weeks when I was back at work and getting dark, and numerous follow ups to get the original, agreed upon work done.
