We have had two great experiences with Red Line. The first was an after hours emergency when our bedroom and bathroom lights suddenly went off and our breaker sparked when we tried to turn them back on.  Igor came out and got everything up and running. It was expensive to have him come at night (ouch) but he explained the costs up front.  He found the problem quickly and was able to fix it.  

Our second experience, which we had scheduled before our emergency, was to install a chandelier above our dining room table and adjust surrounding can lights.  He had previously come out and done a bid and we were impressed with his expertise, honesty and overall demeanor.  He arrived with all supplies and got right to work.  He is meticulous and quick and cleaned up and took away all materials.  Recommend!

First off, it needs to be said that David is a truly quality guy with an amazing heart that always puts your interests at the forefront of everything he does.

He helped me with a quick consult and install in my kitchen/bar area. His advice was spot on, and he was creative in giving the advice around how I could find the best solution. He didn't push me to get another style of light, or tear apart my electrical panels to entirely re-work everything, but rather found that what I already have works great, and there was an easy solution to install lights that I would like better in a quick, easy and inexpensive fashion. He most certainly is not making big bucks off of me, but it's very clear that he is not about that.

David is a true professional, and in anything he does he wants it done right. It's truly about giving you the best service possible, and that's all that matters to him! I would wholeheartedly recommend David to any friends and clients!

I had some minor electric issues and questions.  They were able to come out right away to fix the issue.  Highly recommended.

We used Merv Electric to do several days worth of projects around the house (pot lights, new outlets, replacing bathroom fans, new circuits, etc.).  They were fantastic and we're very happy with the results.  They left their work areas very clean.  Always wore masks.  They were very responsive via email.  They adapted to various minor changes I requested.   The prices were very fair.  Everything past inspections.  Overall, very happy with the results - I highly recommend to others.

This is a scam, plain and simple.

1) Superficial work to get more money out of you, adding false sense of urgency
2) Will ask for cash
3) Hires day laborers from home depot
4) What even is his name? You'll get conflicting information. Probably none of them are real.
5) Makes excuses for everything
6) Constant mind games

Replaced an old Panel and added new wiring for new circuits, Guys are great, kept to the Quote, and then scheduled them less than a week later, showed up on time, worked hard all day, cleaned up and tested everything.  Was very impressed.  Would use them again for any electrical work.

We had Mike as our electrician for a repair and he was excellent.  I particularly appreciated that he called before he left the shop which is in Lynnwood to make sure that he had the right parts.  It's $275 for an hour of time which is pricey but isn't everything involving electricians and plumbers these days so I don't think their pricing is too far out of line with the Seattle area which is very, very expensive to live in.  I'm giving Mike a 5 star review.  I should also say it was fairly easy to book the appointment and they had options.

Great service...timely, efficient and very competitive on pricing...I will use them again for my electrical needs and recommend them to neighbors needing any electrical work.

We hired Justin for an installation of NEMA 14-50 in our garage. He had great communication and was very professional. At our request, he provided us with a clear estimate for this job. We found it very easy to work with him and communicate via email and text throughout the entire process. After the work was done, he also followed up with us to make sure the L&I inspection was completed as well. I'd definitely recommend him!

This was the 14th electrician I called for emergency furnace repair (yes, furnace - we have a Nest system that had an electrical problem, and the Nest representative said I needed an electrician, not HVAC repair).  He was out two hours after my initial call, repaired it quickly, and showed me what he had done.  I'm very happy with the service.

Billy was awesome - I had an electrical problem that was driving me crazy. He was here to help 24 hours later - and I am so grateful. Reasonable price, great service, super-knowledgeable and put my concerns to rest. Plus he's just a great guy... I have found my new electrician!

Had some work performed by Valor Electric for the first time in 2017 to rewire my house that we discovered had knob and tube. My husband just passed away and It was a tough time for me.Victor came and he had so much compassion by how he talked to me and explained to me how the process and details were. I hired them again to help me rewire a 3 bedroom 1 bath addition that I am currently building. I am very impressed with the company. They were extremely professional and courteous. Jeron and Royal's work was great quality, neat and they cleaned up in the areas they worked in. Prices are very good and service is top notch. This is a company that builds their bussiness based on honesty, hard work and kindness of their hearts. I will never forget how much Victor helped me especially during the hardest time of my life. problem:
turning on the lights in the bathroom caused the lights in the two adjacent bedrooms to shut off. required us to reset the circuit breaker each time. also meant we showered in the dark :(

so after procrastinating for nearly a month i decided, at 11 pm last night, to try to find an electrician. i started here on yelp, read a few reviews, then Binged near my house and found Electric Company Of Seattle. Shot them a quick email asking about my issue and within 5 minutes someone had written back. 2 minutes later they called and setup and appt for the following day.

on the day of, Stephen called several times with updates on the whereabouts of Brian (the electrician who would be looking into my issue). It was about 30 minutes off the initial estimate but I was well informed due to the friendly updates from Stephen.

when Brian showed up, he kindly removed his shoes (without having to ask) and came in while i described the problem. he quickly went to the troubled light fixture and found there were exposed wires which were causing the short. the fix was easy and was done and tested in no time. the great thing was all along the way he was explaining the problem and asked if there were any other problems in the house while he was there.

things to note about Brian:
- very friendly
- showed me what he was doing along the way (thinking out loud)

stuff i learned:
- if the circuit trips right away it's probably a short
- using space heaters in an old house will probably cause the circuit to trip (since it's drawing too much power)

price:
$160 - for initial call and one hour of work
(haven't really compared to others to know if this is a good price or not)

Milestone Electric rewired my entire house (used to have knob and tube). Great guys who were timely, professional, and super conscientious about leaving the house clean and tidy each day. In short, they were excellent. I have recommended them to all of my friends.

I have learned over the years that electricity was something best left to the experts, Seth was my first call--and my only call. I had planned to get bids from several electricians, but once I talked to  Seth at SMC Electric, I stopped searching. Not only was he prompt, honest, and very courteous, he was also extremely professional. Seth was very upfront with project costs and time, and had everything done well ahead of what was promised. Seth even answered all my questions while he was working. It's really rare to find his level of work ethic these days. Thank you for your help Seth from SMC Electric!

Awful company.  Had appointment scheduled and verified for nine am on May 10th.  They did not show and did not respond to text messages, emails, or phone calls.  Finally at 11:30 a.m., they indicated something came up and they should have notified me.  Instead of trying to make this right, they are declining to show on another date.  Book with someone else.

Needed quick help with an electrical problem, they came out after hours and fixed it pronto, great service, great price, and friendly and honest... I will hire them again In today's world it's hard to get someone to come out right away, this company came out within hours
