We had Jay come out and look at an outlet that was sparking. The staff were professional and friendly and Jay was on time! It was easy to schedule the appointment and there ended up not being anything wrong with the outlet (whew!). We weren't charged for the service call due to finding them on yelp, so it was $0 for something I was concerned would be $$$. Jay took his time and tested the outlet multiple different ways to ensure it was functioning normally. If you need an electrician, call these people!

Today I had a 240V outlet installed today in my garage for my new electric car. Shawn from Turn it on Electric was my installer. The Appointment was scheduled for 7 AM and Shawn showed up 5 min early. I was very impressed. After he took a look and seen what he would need for the job, he gave me a quote for $450. I guess he thought I was going to freak out, but his quote was $200 less then the previous two quotes I received. He told me to give him 1hr it finish the job and 45min later he was letting me know he was all done. Everything was all clean and worked perfect. This was the 1st time since I've owned my home, I have had a good eexperience with a contractor. So thank you TIO and thank you Shawn.

Tab electric did a wonderful job of wiring and installing garage lighting to our home. When I needed help with a small indoor task I called them back up and made an appointment to have them look at my issue. Kevin came to my home today and fixed my troublesome electrical switch in no time. He was kind and efficient. I highly recommend Tab Electric!

I needed ceiling fans installed into two bedrooms that did not have existing fans or wiring in place. After putting out a RFP on Yelp for multiple bids I received a very fast response from Wiring Pros. They sent out David G. on my schedule and he showed up on time and with a smile on his face. He walked through the space and listened to my ideas because the rooms have lovely 80's popcorn ceilings I am too lazy to scrape off and I wanted to avoid cutting into that wherever possible because it is near impossible to repair and match. We agreed on a plan of attack and I had a written estimate in hand within 24 hours. This included all drywall repairs at the time of the work instead of requiring another subcontractor at a later date which was a key reason I chose them over other companies (I wanted it to be one-and-done.) I ordered a couple of fans (of course they weren't in stock) and Wiring Pros was patient with me as I waited for the fans to show up. Once I had the fans in-hand we scheduled a date and again their technicians showed up exactly when they said they would. They quickly got to work and followed the plan I discussed to get around the ceiling issue (only ceiling cut was a round cut to mount the fan box on the joists.) They covered everything in the rooms with plastic, and cleaned up after themselves before asking me to inspect the job. There was a minor miscommunication on the quote/work order (I wanted stacked dual switches to control fan/lights separately - I showed David G. the same setup I recently had installed in my bathrooms for the exhaust fan/light combo as a reference to make sure we were on the same page - was only listed as install switch) and when I asked about it they made a quick call to base to confirm what was required. I have experienced the hemming and hawing of its not on the work order, you need to reschedule, blah blah blah and I did sign off on that WO without questioning it before paying. After a fast confirmation and not having the right switches on hand they quickly hit the local big box hardware store and returned within 20 mins and installed what I needed with no more fuss. It was refreshing to work with a company that did what they said they would do, did it on time, did it at the cost they quoted AND cleaned up after themselves. I would (and will) recommend Wiring Pros to anyone needing any electrical work in the future.

We were serviced by Eddie. When he arrived we gave him a series of tasks for him review and decide whether he could handle them. The tasks were: (1) looking at some remote control parts and assess if they were to control previously installed fan/lights. He was able to match the fan remotes and was able to make them functional (2) Install 6 electrical sockets containing USB ports (3) fix a defective switch and ceiling light which were not working (4) showed me how to remove a burned out light bulb in a specialty lamp.
The work was done quickly and efficiently. I was especially impressed with his knowledge of the ceiling fan technology and remote control capabilities.
I would recommend them without reservation.

I truly can't say enough positive things about Gabe. It's very difficult to come across a jack of all trades who is honest and true to his word. Gabe was able to come out the same day I called to install a gas range that the delivery drivers were unable to install (on two separate occasions) and repair a circuit breaker and several outlets. After 2 weeks without a stove, Gabe hooked it up and fixed my electrical issues all in just over an hour!
He also followed up with me to ensure everything was functioning properly, which just shows how much he cares about his work and his clients. He has since helped me with plumbing issues and replaced my old kitchen faucet as well.
I'm so happy I found One Shot Installation and will be calling them for any other work I may need in the future!

We had a small electrical problem with under-counter lights not working. Stephanie in the office managed the appointment to suit our schedule and let me know when he would arrive. Bolt electrician arrived on time, worked quickly and sorted the problem -- great work, fair pricing and very nice people to deal with.

I just bought an electrical vehicle and reached out via Yelp to several individuals. Arc electrical was very quick to respond. The gentleman that contacted me was named Alex he was one of the owners of the company. He came by the next day checked out what I needed to hook up my new 240 connection and said that he could do it for me quickly because he knew I was taking delivery of a new car.
I have always been quite nervous when it comes to dealing with contractors because there are many flyby night guys and I have seen many of them at my property whether it's pool roofing etc. Alex was incredibly friendly his pricing was extremely fair and his service was phenomenal. He told me he would have the job done within a couple days and delivered on his promise. Initially he said that the job would take about four hours but it actually took about six because the ground at my property was quite hard and he had to do a lot of extra digging. He still held to his price which I was really happy about. This fellow buit up quite a sweat and did a phenomenal job installing 100 feet of wire in pipe underneath my walkway and through my flowerbeds. Immaculate job.
If you're looking for a really nice young fellow who does incredible work at a very fair price definitely reach out to Alex. In today's world there aren't guys that do a great job at a fair price this guy is awesome and I hardly recommend him. He is a licensed electrician, A veteran And was true to his word not to mention he does seriously quality work. Great experience and highly recommend

Why haven't I written a review for Matt yet? No clue, but I'm one of his biggest fans!
Matt is honest, punctual and has reasonable prices. I can't imagine asking anyone else to do electrical work for me.
The first time he was out the outlet for our water softener needed a new GFCI. His suggestion was that I do it myself and save some $$. And yes, I could have done it, but I was on my way out the door to catch a flight. How honest is that?
Since then, Matt has hung two TV's, relocated outlets so I wouldn't have to look at unsightly wires, added outlets, installed lighting fixtures from scratch and ran wired cable to the back of our TV for the best streaming.
See, Matt does it all!
I will say this, he's in demand because of his great work, so please give him advance notice. I'm never in a hurry and plan out my work so it always works out. But know that he'll likely find a way to take care of an emergency.
All around great guy. Matt is the electrician you want in North Phoenix, Scottsdale, Cave Creek and Carefree.

The purpose of this update is to remove 3 stars moving my experience from 5 points to 2 points and explain what happened between myself and the management at Dodge Electric and an issue I mentioned but chose not to disclose in my previous review which I will now.
So, I just received this statement from Mike Storer, Project Manager, at Dodge Electric, after submitting a request for a new Bid for continued work:
we are going to have to pass on doing any more work. I just don't think we are a good fit for each other.
and
I am confused as to why you would leave us a great review and ask us to do more work when you thought our best guy with the most experience didn't know the difference between #12 and #14 wire for a 20 amp circuit. Jesus was very stressed out when he left your house. He rarely tells us that a job stressed him out, that's why he handles all of our difficult and large jobs.
Interesting! What prompted this response?
What I did not share in my initial YELP review but did with Dodge Electric management in a private email to Mr. Storer are issues that I was forced to intervene with during the job...
Jesus, as I am now informed is their most experienced electrician with over 20 years' experience at Dodge Electrical, was about to do a serious electrical no-no as normally is common knowledge of any experienced electrician.
As Jesus was about to wire additional outlets onto an existing 20 Amp circuit that correctly had existing 12 AWG (gauge) wire from the electrical C/B panel, I asked Jesus a simple question, What gauge of wire are you going to use? He replied, 14-gauge wire, it is less expensive. This came to me as a shock!
This is how an electrical fire can start people! 14 AWG is not rated to carry 20 Amps and can overheat the wire, melt the insulation, short and arc and you know what can happen next. However, you want to statistically gamble on this, it is not to code and good luck with your insurance company after an incident.
14 AWG is typical throughout your home for all 15 Amp circuits (look in your electrical panel and your outlets). 20 Amp Circuits will have 12 AWG and the wire gets larger as you move to higher currents like an electric oven or your Air Conditioning Unit.
Later, when he finished that running the 12 AWG wire, Jesus and his junior partner of 5 years' experience were both connecting 15 Amp outlets to the 12 AWG wire. While not a safety issue so much you can't take advantage of 20 Amp capacity with power tools or anything requiring at least 20 Amps (wrong terminal configuration). So again, I immediate intervened and said, No, you need to install 20 Amp outlet! Interestingly again, Jesus said nothing but left the job to go buy 20 Amp outlets.
In regard to Mr. Storer stating that Jesus was stressed. I can't imagine why he should be. We seemed to communicate well Voices were never raised or showed anger or frustration. At no time did I do anything which was not a hindrance but was helpful to him in doing his job, with the exception of these two issues which I required correction on. Is it that he was traumatized by being told what to do electrically by a homeowner who is a woman? Was he was frustrated by having to go shopping for materials twice during a job? Maybe he had other personal issues going on. Either way, I have no regret and would stop anyone again if I saw something being done incorrectly despite what experience they say they have. You don't cut corners for cost! Arizona has lousy licensing requirements when it comes to anyone who calls themselves an electrician.
Instead of pushing me away as a customer, the owner of Dodge Electric whose electrical license Jesus is working under should have thanks me for intervening; It was a code violation I could have reported to the licensing board! No one reached back out to me to discuss anything.
That is a hell of a way for Dodge Electric to treat a client and especially a Disabled Veteran with a service-related injury which makes doing simple jobs electrical like this myself. But what I am finding out that when you hire an electrician here in Arizona, in most cases, the person doing the work is not even certified journeymen let alone a licensed electrician. What you get is an invoice containing a licensing number of someone at the company who may not even verify work was done per code.
The reason I came back to Dodge was because the jobs were simple, and when I saw something that was incorrect, they quickly corrected without any lip. And the price was fair for the work done and materials used. I made a mistake by not providing full disclosure on my 1st review.
My own personal professional background includes 25+ years as a mechanical engineer specializing in electronic packaging in the defense world. 6 years of troubleshooting and repairing both mechanical and electrical systems on aircraft. And I have a background in residential architectural design.

Will definitely hire Alex again for future electrical work. Very friendly and professional. Showed up when he said he would (after hours on St. Patrick's day). Alex had diagnosed the problem and restored the power back on in my house in a manner of minutes. Highly recommend Arc Electrical for electrical needs and I will be referring Alex to my friends that need electrical work done. Thanks again Alex!

Dave does quality work. Not only will I use him again (install a mini split A/C & a Tesla charger) I will recommend him to my friends & family. I needed my 16x20 shop wired with a sub panel. He showed up when he said he would and is very fast and efficient. This is what I had him do. Install sub-panel, 14 outlets, wiring for future equipment, and lights inside and outside. The price he quoted was the price I paid. No upcharges or surprises. He was very professional and pays attention to details.
