Best Kitchen Light Fixure Installation in New York NY

After an initial problem involving miscommunication on both sides, I ended up contracting with this company. I found their customer service and quality of work to be excellent. Although this was a relatively small job, it was handled with care and professionalism. My husband and I were very pleased with the service.

Rick is excellent. Just had him swap out three lights for less expensive fixtures. Showed up on time, worked quickly and neatly and had a fair price. Highly recommend.

I can't even begin to explain the amount of panic I was in when I called New York City Electricians. I had an incident in my apartment with one of my electrical outlets and was desperate for someone to come out and take a look right away. I spoke to George on the phone who immediately put me at ease. I explained the situation and he worked to get someone out to me within a few hours and I was so appreciative. Not only that, but he continued to update me on the technicians arrival time and checked in throughout the process which is not a level of communication you usually get with NY. Emilio was the technician who arrived and he was very professional and handled the job thoroughly and within 30 minutes. I am forever thankful for how professional and quickly they handled the job and will be using them again should I ever have another electrical issue! Can't thank the team enough!

1. Did not read part of the job and decided to ignore even after it was reminded to him. To add insult to the injury, he insisted he was doing me a favor on this (a 5min task), even after he himself apologized for having misunderstood.
2. Asked for 50% upfront two days prior to the appointment (on a $200 job!) which was not what we agreed upon when confirming the job.
3. Complained about working in the attic, asking me ceiling height and being a snob to the job I had in general, telling me he was doing me a favor on my $200 job instead of going after $40K jobs and saying that Secaucus was out of his way, even though he (falsely apparently) advertises he covers areas much further than that.

If you are willing to have your (verbal) contract breached in every way possible, you may proceed at your own risk.

Azam was wonderful.
While two previous electricians came and wanted to charge and outrageous amount just to trouble shoot.
Azam came in did a quick check of the outlets and was able to fix one of the issues the same day.
He came prepared with the tools and materials he needed.
He needed to come back the next day for my 2nd issue. He was on time and finished the Job in one day. He also cleaned up after the work efficiently which most contractors do not do.
I appreciate his honesty and workmanship. I will def be recommending his company and using him in the future.

All the outlets and switches in my apartment had to be replaced after a new paint job. I contacted Konstantinos and other electricians to help me get it done.  Konstantinos called me within an hour or so, which I liked, asking a few important details about what I needed, gave me a quote and we scheduled a day and time.
He was on time, was very professional,  reliable and very friendly. You don't realize how many outlets and switches an apartment has until you have to replace them. Konstantinos worked fast and very efficiently. Within 2 1/2 hours he was done, and all finally looked alright again.
I would absolutely recommend his services to anyone who needs a skilled, experienced and reliable electrician.

He came provide a good estimate started right away finished less than hour.  I had my range hood replaced and also these new hood needed a three prong outlet.  He removed and replaced my range hood.  Added the new outlet instead of the old range hood connection.   He also cleaned up after he was done.

They were punctual, friendly, informative - - all around a very well-run operation, and they made sure to clean up everything they worked on. We will absolutely be looking for them again the next time we need an electrician.

Jim & Sons did a variety of electrical work including installing a dedicated line for a bedroom, and building/wiring a new bathroom exhaust vent unit in an aging house. Prices were very reasonable and were laid out in a very thorough estimate.
On the day the work was done, the electricians showed up on time, and went through everything to make sure it was up to my expectations
Will definitely use them again for any further electrical needs!

We've used Frank Mineo Electrical on two different occasions now, for fairly mundane residential electrical projects - adding/moving outlets, repairing switches, etc. Both times they were prompt, polite, and did great work. The most recent time they were 30% less than a competitive quote, and I felt they went beyond what they were asked to do. I really don't see any reason to call anyone else for any future electrical work I might need.

The owner of the company sent a technician to fix the meter and offered a partial refund. The company apologized, and the new electrician was prompt, efficient, and fixed the problem.  Rosemary (an angel is disguise) negotiated with ConEd on my behalf

This guy does all wrong wrong . You will need to hire someone to rd do everything .

I hired him for two projects to change all sub panels . He couldn't even wire the breakers properly .

He also plays a game gives you a price n then says o this is extra .

You clearly know what you need to get the job done . But he will leave things out so he can bill you more

Be aware . Stay clear you will have to do double work

Avoid at all costs.  I asked the guy (Jeff Brausewetter) to install a 220v outlet for a new dryer and he said he needed to put in a new breaker box.  I paid for it, and he came and installed it; he told me he was almost done but just needed to get the part for the outlet.  Then he stopped answering the phone or replying to my texts.  Finally he replied saying that he had been locked out of his phone and would sort me out, but after that he became unresponsive at the new number too.  Finally I had another electrician out (Riviera Electric, recommended).  He explained that (i) Jeff's breaker box was completely useless, and (ii) he hadn't actually done anything except for screwing the box onto the wall - no wiring or anything.  So, I'm out over $300 with nothing to show for it except for a useless breaker box that I'm going to have to throw away.  BEWARE!

Showed up 8 hours after spoke to him on an emergency situation. He did fix that , but started other work which was left unfinished. Promised two more times to come back first thing in the morning but never showed. Gave one star because I couldn't give zero.
