I have had to call on Rishon Plumbing on two occasions so far: a water heater thermocouple replacement and changing an old angle stop valve that was not closing correctly. I had called a few other places but found their price and service to be excellent. They responded very quickly and were very upfront about their pricing. Very professional attitude.
I will definitely call on them for any future plumbing needs!

Jose was just great! He called back quickly, he arrived that afternoon just as he said he would, checked out the problem, and came back the next morning to fix it. On time. On budget.
We would absolutely use his services again, and happily recommend him. (Even our landscape designer was impressed!)

Warren, Alice and everyone else at Plumber to the Rescue are great. Servicing most of the West LA area, we've used them numerous times including this morning.
We had a leak in the ceiling that caused water damage. The folks on the phone explained their rates ahead of time while trying to schedule an inspection. I was told who to expect (Alex is a very helpful person BTW), and how much it would cost.
But what makes them even better is that they even told me how I could save some money by doing part of the work myself. It was a considerable amount of money too.
All in all, just another good service from these folks. Other services include replacing a water heater and remodel work such as faucet + showerhead pipes behind the wall.

This was the most straightforward and amazing experience. Max was able to give me a fair quote and responded so quickly to my needed job. He has such a knowledgeable and positive energy and the entire time it was clear I was in capable hands. A-1 made my fussy and annoying job less so and that really made my day.

I'm going to make this review as fair and objective as possible, based on my 2 experiences with Flood Brothers Plumbing. I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt after my first bad experience, but as a result of the latest service I have no choice but to warn potential clients.
I like to start off with the positives. In my service appointments and phone conversations, everyone at Flood Brothers was polite, respectful and friendly. They send you text reminders for your appointments (awesome!) and the technicians call you when they're on the way and give you an ETA. This is a major point that most service companies miss and it makes a huge difference, so thank you for implementing that. They are now also doing follow-up phone calls to make sure everything went well and you don't have any issues, which is another plus.
Unfortunately, the actual quality of service left much to be desired.
TL;DR
Flood Brothers gave me an inflated quote on a fairly large project, the owner called to apologize, and I decided to give them a 2nd chance. Efrain came out to unclog my bathtub and initially it drained but clogged right back up after a couple hours. They gave no warranty, wanted to put in a camera and I said no. I had a different company come out, snake the drain, and now it works great (and they give a 30 day warranty).
Summary of Flood Brothers estimate on Jan 16:
A technician came out and I asked him to give me an estimate on replacing some gate valves in the garage of our building for our HOA. He had the incorrect address (not his fault, the office incorrectly listed my address and then failed to update the address that I gave them over the phone). He couldn't find my number (even though he had called with his ETA shortly before) and so I waited an extra hour or so while he was apparently outside. He then gave me a very inflated estimate for the job (~$7,000). I had 3 other companies provide quotes and all of them came in at around half the price of this estimate.
Giovanni (the owner) called me to figure out what happened and explained that it was the technician's first day in the field solo, and so he simply overestimated the amount of work required. He was very apologetic and seemed to honestly want to fix the issue. So when my bathtub stopped draining last week, I decided to give them another shot.
Summary of drain unclogging on Mar 2:
They were very accommodating and promptly came out to my apartment. Efrain had excellent communication and was very polite and even put on shoe covers (again, this is a often missed small detail that was a great touch). He found that our drain plug (basket attached to trip lever) was broken and pulled some gunk/hair out of the drain. And the water was draining, albeit a little slowly. He explained that it was an old drain and probably couldn't get any better. So I was thrilled. Unfortunately, a couple hours later when my wife went to take a shower, the tub quickly filled up and wasn't draining. I immediately called and let him know. He explained that it was draining well when he was here (true) and that it's an old pipe so there's no warranty (which I knew but is still kind of crazy), so he would have to put in a camera (expensive) and see what the problem is (fixing it more expensive). I asked how far he put the snake in and didn't get a solid answer. Maybe he snaked maybe not; maybe only a few feet. Either way it was ineffective.
I then decided to call another company who I had used before and knew could snake the drain. They came out 2 days later, put in 30 ft of snake, took out some gunk and 30 minutes later the drain was clear. I took a shower and it drains better than ever.
Final thoughts:
I do believe that Flood Brothers will fix your plumbing issues, but it will likely cost you dearly. There are definitely some positive things they do; however, I would recommend to find someone more experienced that will guarantee their work.

Look no further, bookmark Charlie's and don't waste your time calling anyone else. We had three companies out for the same problem to no avail. Charlie came out, showed us our entire line with camera and gave us three very fair solutions to choose from. He also guarantees his work which speaks volumes. Amazing plumber and super nice team all the way around. He even offered to mop the floor where he had done some work. Hopefully we won't need to call on his services again anytime soon but if we do, he is the only call I'll make.

We had an emergency request in our commercial space for sewage backup. After our call he arrived within minutes, all prepared and got it all fixed up. Amazing service, QUICK and cleaned it all up and fixed another issue they came across as well. Prices were very very reasonable, especially for an emergency call. These are our go to guys from now on. THANK YOU!

Chris is a friendly guy, gets down to business, works efficiently, and would summarize what's going on as he worked through the problems. For the reasonable pricing, I had him clear out the kitchen pipes and the two bathrooms. He also made sure the unit below me didn't get clogged up from the work. From the telephone call with the office manager, Darcy, the whole process was easy, professional and I felt like I was getting an honest work done. I would definitely call them again for future needs. Nice people, forthright way of doing business, and gets the job done.

I downgraded my evaluation of Rockstar because of what transpired Friday, March 5. We awoke to hearing dripping in the attic above our bathroom, which we knew had to be a leak in the re-circulation system piping and shut-off the house water. My preferred plumber was on a big job and could not come over for sometime. I contacted Rockstar to try them again based on the response I received from Matt to my previous review. Marco showed up promptly; saw what was needed, then quoted the exorbitant amount of $668. I questioned the price for the work and was told it's the lump sum amount for all customer work (BS). He deducted 10% and I agreed to pay $600 as I felt I had no choice as the house water was off and did not know how long until I could get another plumber. Marco made the repair in short order and left. I do not complain on how the repair was made; only what I was charged by Rockstar Plumbing. I made the check out to Rockstar Construction as requested by Marco; a new owner with a high pricing policy?

Miguel was great. Arrived on time, worked hard, solved the problem and charged a reasonable rate. You can't ask for any better than that!.

I have used Victor on a couple large plumbing jobs and he consistently provides a high level of quality work. He takes time to explain the issues and what the options are. His prices are good as well. Great professional to work with and would highly recommend him. I only wish I called him before I used another plumbing company which Victor had to come in and fix their mistakes.

Excellent service and very professional. They came and fix the clog in less than 5 minutes. Will call them again if I need too. 5 stars!!

First, Mandel's communication was exceptional. He called me back quickly even though his day was busy and kept me updated on when he was coming to my place. Second, I had a couple jobs to do in my place and he was honest with me in telling me what I was requesting was unnecessary and showed me how to take care of my situation instead of having him do work that never needed to be done. Third, he came in and handled what I did need help with and told me how I could take care of the situation later to save money. He pulled this part of my tub out without damaging the drain itself, even though it was wedged in there. Thank you Mandel for your work and your honesty.

Brian, the owner and Samuel the plumber/technician came thru beautifully for re-installing my toilet in a very narrow space. Not only was Samuels' work par excellence but the price Brian gave me was very generous. I would certainly use them for all my plumbing needs in the future .

These guys are great! They were professional and friendly, showed up on time, and fixed our leaking faucet with the correct parts : ) for a good price. I'm not at all knowledgeable about plumbing but they were patient to answer my questions too - would definitely recommend!

I can not say enough great things about Z&H Plumbing. Zorro and his team were amazing. My water heater went out on Friday... kaput! It was an old water tank and needed immediate replacement. We decided to upgrade our home by replacing it with a tankless system. Our usual plumbing company that we had worked with for years gave us a very high price for the install and didn't give us complete information about available rebates and necessary info about the work. I called Z&H Plumbing because of their great reviews on yelp and because they specialize in water heaters. The gave me a quote over the phone and assured me that the price would not change by a cent. I had never had an experience where a project like this didn't change due to unforeseen circumstances. They assured me it wouldn't. They also told me they would start the job the next morning at 8:30 and be finished by 1. They sounded too good to be true, but I decided to take a chance and I'm so glad I did. At EXACTLY 8:30 their van pulled into our driveway. Their team was efficient, courteous, worked cleanly, communicated everything that was going to happen during the install including exactly when the water and gas would be turned off then back on. They did a beautiful job. Then, at exactly 1:00 they pulled out of the driveway because the job was done. The bill was exactly what they said it would be, and they even made some extra adjustments that were not included in the original scope of the work. They also informed me about a $1000 rebate from the gas company for installing a tankless heater, which I never would have known about. These guys were great! I feel like I now have a new company that I will be using for future plumbing work and I am really happy to recommend them!

Highly recommend this company. Very polite and very professional. You can tell that Giovanni is experienced and has been doing this line of work for a long time. He not only explained to us the problem, but also educated us with valuable information. This company is the kind of trustworthy company that we will use for a long time. I'm very fortunate to have met him and will continue to use his service.

We had a sink clogged today and it was hard to find a plumber on the weekend. Joe from Sal's plumbing was very responsive and sent someone within an hour. Thomas was the plumber who came over and he was on time and very helpful. He plunged the sink and it got fixed immediately. The clog seemed to only be in the pop up assembly. He didn't need to run the snake so he didn't charge us at all. We couldn't be more grateful. Thank you so much!

Twice they've shown up when promised and got the job done. Last Saturday I called them at 3pm, after Adeedo Plumbing suddenly bailed after I'd waited 6 hours.
911 told me it would be 2 hours, but Greg showed up in 30 minutes. He had a good attitude and unclogged the kitchen pipe below the house without a problem.
There was a weekend surcharge, as expected, but the price was fair for having a plumber arrive on short notice on a weekend.
I had a good experience with them in 2017 and now in 2023. Next time, 911 will be my first call.

I had a tremendous experience working with Connie and her team. I always get multiple estimates so I can triangulate things. She has friendly and knowledgeable service. She was communicative on the scheduling, arrival, timing. I needed some drain pipes diverted under my house and she carved out time the same day to provide an estimate. She quoted a great/the best price compared to several other bids and combined with reviews and references, I gladly gave her the job. Work was completed in a few hours. She is honest and personable and well versed in so many things. I loved talking to her about plumbing, gardening, education, art, and business. She gave me referrals for other work I need done around the house. Thank you, Connie! (also: Bilingual staff. Su equipo es bilingüe y confiable).
