George and team were great.  Very responsive and worked patiently through a difficult cartridge replacement on an old bathtub faucet.

Jose came out to replace our garbage disposal (within 24h of my original call!), and immediately noticed the pipes under the sink were corroded and actually started leaking during the replacement! He had all the parts he needed in his truck to do the plumbing replacement/upgrade to all PVC (in addition to installing our new garbage disposal) and he was in and out in under an hour for all of it! He also made sure to explain how to troubleshoot the new disposal for the various ways it might cause issues in the future.

Jose was incredibly responsive, kind, and professional -- highly recommend!

So my toilet overflowed on me 5 minutes before I had to leave for work on a Monday morning. Don't know if you've ever been in that scenario, but it's awful.

I called these guys and had an appointment scheduled for 2 hrs later. Luckily, my girlfriend was available to come over and meet Josh who showed up exactly when he was supposed to.

Josh fixed the problem in 2 hrs but only charged me for one since he felt he could have done it faster. WHAT?! WHAT IS THIS INTEGRITY DOING IN TODAY'S BUSINESS WORLD??!?

Total cost? $89.  It's been 2 months and no problems since. Wow.

Warren was quick to reply from Yelp quote and quick on text message.  He provided a quote (including labor + parts) to repair a thermocoupler unit on my water heater on a Sunday and was able to come out Monday mid-morning to fix it.   Water heater is working again and Warren was in and out within an hour.

We had Chris recently help us with major drain pipe repairs/replacement at our home. It started out with what we thought was just a clogged drain. We emailed and Darcy got us an appointment right away. Chris arrived promptly and quickly diagnosed the problem as a major, systemic issue with the plumbing system in our crawlspace. He explained the problems clearly, described available options and got the right people on the spot to do the repairs very quickly. Within 48 hours everything was fixed for a very reasonable price. We are glad to have Ace Plumbing and Rooter in our neighborhood and will definitely work with Chris and Darcy for any future plumbing issues.

This is my second time using Rockstar Plumbing. First episode, we had our kitchen sink and washing machine not draining properly. My wife can't recall the name of the technician who went over ( I will mention in a follow up once she remembers) immediately recognized the problem. He diagnosed the blockage, and mentioned that he needed the mini jetter to completely resolve the block, and for that he had to do it on another day. He comes back the following day, and clears the problem. This happened in February and so far so good.

Second time: I noticed a puddle in my yard that never dries up. I call Rockstar, set up an appointment for Sal to come over. He digs up the area, visualizes the pipe. Goes to the front, checks the meter, also asks me to run my sprinklers to see if a leak shows up. Turns out the puddle was being formed by bad drainage in my yard. (even if Ive had my sprinklers shut for a week). Well thank goodness it wasn't a real leak. Sal was awesome to watch and work with. I learned a lot.

In both occasions, the service was professional, friendly, and honest. I am extremely satisfied with ROCKSTAR! keep up the good work.

Had a major backup with main line and Miguel came out, quickly assessed the situation and worked for over an hour to fix it. He has a great attitude and explained everything clearly. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommend!

Victor is a great plumber and his company does perfect work.  No question about it.  Honest, reliable, trustworthy...and that is what we are all hoping for!
I called several plumbers to bid a sewer replacement job but Victor had the highest ratings on yelp and google and I found out why.  He showed up a half hour before our meeting time to be sure he was not late.  He bid the job and explained every aspect to me.  I have extensive plumbing knowledge (which he didn't realize) and he hit every point from begining to end.  He scoped the lines, pointed out areas of concern, provided a plan and produced a very reasonable bid.  He then offered to come to the house later that evening to snake the line to make sure that we were clear for the remainder of the week before he replaced the lines (this without charge!)
He was true to his original bid, did the work in a day and a half and shared photos and checked in afterward.

Very great guys, professional! One of the few that contacted me back when acquiring  how much it would cost to unclog the pipe from the washer machine. They let me know what time they would come and how much it may cost. Mike was the main guy that handled the snaking of the pipe and, about 10 minutes or so, he checked out the machine to make sure there was  no overflow of water and it worked! Even offered to clean up behind the machine for us (which we were thankful but I didn't mind doing that). I would 100% recommend these guys to anybody and will call them in the future for any other plumbing problems! So glad I did my research and called them..fair price, fast service, reliable, friendly, came on time.

Mandel came out to snake a blocked sewer drain and couldn't be more friendly and professional. Unfortunately the snake seemed to indicate a deeper issue which required some camera investigation. One fascinating trip through the bowels of my home later, I was greeted with 2 issues that would require some major repairs. No one is thrilled to learn of a surprise repair bill, but Madel was candid about my options and their likely cost without ever being pushy. Seems like my business with these guys will be ongoing for the time being, but I trust I'm in good hands.

Rocket plumbing and Sam are great. Sam came right over. He was friendly, informative and got the job done quickly. I intend to call rocket plumbing for all of my future plumbing needs.

I needed a new water heater replaced so I called new generation plumbing and they took care of everything same day.

Service: fast, thorough, everything was well explained, very knowledgeable and friendly. They got the boiler and did it all in less than 2 hours. I was impressed. They did some extra fixes for me as well which was awesome.

Price: very reasonable. I got other quotes and they were lower but not too low. Prices too low concern me and they were right in the middle.

I would have them come back for our sewer line when it's time. Great service

After posting the original review below, Michael (the Owner's brother and executive?) contacted me to discuss my experience and offered a full refund of the service charge ($420.50). A few minutes later, Giovanni called me to discuss my experience. During our call, Giovanni (Owner) admitted that his staff needs more customer service training. Then, Jerry (Field Manager) contacted me to discuss my service experience.

To recap my conversation with Giovanni:
1) Flood Brothers Plumbing's business has grown during the pandemic. They have recently hired new plumbing staff. One person didn't show up for his shift on Sunday which resulted in a scramble for staff to support all the incoming client calls.

2) The receptionist/scheduler should have called me before the 2 pm window started to let me know that my technician would be very late. At this point, they knew that one person didn't show up to work.

3) The receptionist/scheduler should have made a note in my appointment about providing the $97 per clogged drain estimate. This would have helped James with estimating the price of my service call.

4) James should have cleaned out my clogged tub drain at the pop-up drain part in addition to the tub overflow part without my asking. This is a full clogged drain service so that my drain is as clog-free as possible, especially since unclogging drains doesn't come with any warranties.

5) Management needs to teach James various pricing methods to provide customers with the best price-for-service; i.e., the task-driven pricing is a starting point for clients that only have one service item in a call. Management needs to train James how to calculate prices for a client with many items, based on difficulty, and based on service time.

For my part:

a) I wanted to support a local business. This is the main reason I gave Flood Brothers Plumbing a call. They are based in Studio City and I live in Studio City.

b) I thought I did my due diligence when I asked for a rough estimate for unclogging a tub drain ($97). If I had known that it would be $500 to unclog a slow sink drain and a slow tub drain within 5 feet of each other, I would have called another plumber before waiting 4.5 hours for service.

c) I should have declined the service when I learned that the total would be close to $500; the diagnostic part of the service call is free. By 6:30 pm, I had waited 4.5 hours to get this work started and was tired....so I agreed to pay. Also, in the previous 2 weeks, I had tried different products and methods to unclog the drains - including buying a drain snake/auger which didn't fit into the overflow part. When I wrote the original review, I didn't expect to get any type of refund - I just wanted to share my experience and I accepted full responsibility for incurring the $420.50 charge.

As of today (one week later), there is a slow leak (drip) at my sink faucet. It was leaking before but is now leaking below the counter into the vanity cabinet. Jerry (Field Manager) was nice enough to stop by and take a look. He gave me a few good suggestion to buy replacement parts. Once I have those parts, we will schedule another appointment to replace the leaking sink faucet.
