Real Plumbers got the job done. Our sink was clogged for a few days and after trying everything we knew we reached out to them and they put our worries to ease. They provided professional, courteous and timely service.

I called My Plumbing doctor based on the Yelp reviews to investigate the sewage smell that was coming from below our house. James was sent out, had a look, and declared that despite this 25 years of plumbing, he had no idea what was going on. While he was here, we had to suffer his repeated referrals to beaners and faggots. After he left, I called to speak to Warren, the owner, and he said that unless there were undetectable microcracks in a pipe, he couldn't explain the foul smell either. The situation worsened, and soon the ground under the house was soaked; soon after, it became a lake.
Last night, Saturday, (at week-end and nighttime rates) Gilbert's Plumbing came out and with much testing, determined that the problem lay with the main sewer pipe. They sent a camera down and found multiple root-choked breaks. Currently, they are digging it up with plans to replace it. Why couldn't My Plumbing Doctor figure that out? Maybe they're good for minor repairs, toilets overflowing, the drain from the toilet backed up. But don't call them for anything more.
Meanwhile, kudos to Gilbert Plumbing on Hawthorne!

P.S. After Warren saw this review, he called to apologize and offered to reimburse the $75. that I had paid for the visit. James brought the check over, and was very contrite. While this action doesn't change my overall review, it's worth saying that Warren cares about his reputation and took appropriate steps to alleviate the situation. jaf

I would have needed to call Max out today, except he fixed the problem last November!  I no longer need regular rootings on my pipes.

I don't know why no other plumber wanted to come out and do a several thousand dollar job.  Max came out, did it, was good at it, and fixed my roots-growing into the really old iron pipes problem.

I asked him to scope out and determine what the cause of the toilets backing up into the shower (gross) was.  It was a blockage in my main (not sure about this) drain caused by roots.  He would rooter it out, but they would keep growing back (six months turned into three, three into two, one into... weeks, you get the point).  Finally, he ran a camera through there and showed me the various issues I was having.  He replaced the pipe with ABS, which involved digging up my yard and creating a pipe-sized hole through the lower foundation wall of my house.  

He did a great job and nobody can tell that he's here.  The price was fair although I had nothing to compare it to because nobody wanted to come out for a competing estimate.  The work was started quick and took about a week.  By the time he was done, you could tell he was never here.

He gave me lots of great plumbing advice and seems to know local rules and regulations really well, even about plants/trees growing into pipes and stuff like that.

On a side note, Max reminds me of some of my friends and seems like he would be a cool guy to hang out with.  He's funny and I remember one of his quotes about fitting under the house, he said (kind of like a cat), if the head fits... and dove under my house.

When I finally get my kitchen redone, I'm going to give him a call and coordinate so that he can finally rid my house of old iron pipes and be done with it.  When he was last here to do the main drain (I think) replacement, he also did a clean (blow) out of my kitchen drain and said that he'd probably have to do it every 3-5 years (until replaced with ABS), if I recall correctly.

JUNIOR IS AMAZING!!! I had an issue that came up with roots in my sewage pipe and called Flood Brothers needing same day service.  Junior was able to squeeze me in.  I thought all I needed was hydrojetting, but unfortunately there was a separated pipe and other issues that needed tending to immediately.  Over two days, Junior was calm and professional, sent me regular updates, provided me with guidance and alternatives, and ended up fixing the problem and making the yard look like nothing had ever happened.  I am so happy with their service, and while I hope I never need a plumber again, if I do, call them immediately!

Whenever I need help fixing any plumbing issue I'm not capable of completing on my own, Charlie's rooter is always there ! Lulu responds immediately on Yelp and has reasonable prices  !
I prefer working with Luis. A few years ago I was referred to Charlie's rooter by a neighbor and Luis was the first technician I worked with and , to be honest , he was and is the most knowledgeable , personable , and professional plumber I have dealt with in my years  . He has always been on time , is friendly and tells the truth . No BS! Most recently , he snakes a backed up kitchen sink through a clean out and had that line cleared and cleaned up faster than I could pull out my credit card!

We had to replace a shower valve. It required cutting into an interior wall to access the plumbing. Alberto and I communicated about the job, he gave me an estimate, and we set up a time. He and his partner arrived right when they said they would, and managed the replacement very quickly and efficiently. They did great work, and he's a super nice guy. Would hire again!

Wow!  What a great experience.  They gave me a quote and stuck to it.  Arrived same day and took care of my leak AND ran a rooter just for good measure.  Didn't try to up charge me with any surprises either.  Chris did a great job and was very pleasant and professional.  I definitely recommend them.

This company was very professional with their timeliness and a job well done. The only complaint is that the supervisor of the job, said they would return to fix a few small issues! But even after several calls they never returned. Over a year later after the work was done, we called Rockstar back to fix a leak and they came out fixed the leak and the extra issue from before without charging us a dime! Andrew came out and worked for several hours and completed the job! Thank you for your professionalism and the pride in your work!

Thanks Hayk for saving our pipes! Without him, we would have had to replace our entire pipe system. Tree roots had infiltrated our pipes and we called a different company initially. That first company said that there was nothing they could do to fix it and said we would have to replace the entire piping system. Before investing all that time and money, I decided to get a second opinion and thank God I did. Hayk offered to clean out the tree roots and that there would be no need for us to replace everything. He went above and beyond, cleaning out the roots 6/7 times until they were all gone. Thank you so much for your help! I HIGHLY recommend Hayk to everyone!!

Excellent and fast service. Sometimes water leaks can't wait! I contacted via Yelp on a Thursday night at around 9:00PM, to get a quote. I had a dripping Angle Stop for a toilet. Sounds simple enough, but I live in a 4th floor condo and that complicates matters. Mandel had me confirmed that same Thursday night, for a next day appointment between 11:00 and 1:00. A gentleman came with an apprentice type person. They were able to figure out the pipe in the garage, to shut off the water to this specific bathroom, in about 5 minutes even though it was not labeled. This in itself was amazing!! They then replaced the angle stop. In and out in under an hour. Very polite, wore masks. When I have time I will contact again to replace more angle stops as I think they are all wearing out. Try to be proactive. This will be my team! Thank you!

I own a six unit older 50-year-old building.. been having a lot of trouble lately with backups.. I usually do it myself but it just got to the point where I knew I needed to bring somebody in.. I had met Chris down the street one day got his card had him come over he did what I would have done but the difference is I would have thought it was fixed.. well yeah it was definitely draining well because the pipes are broken they were so old.. thank God he was there because could you imagine how long feces and all that good stuff would have been going underneath my building before we realized it.. oh my God he saved me! Very knowledgeable /lifetime of experience!  Actually I did some scouting and there's a lot of stuff that I need to do so I'm definitely going to be calling them into give me a bid because I am 100% satisfied and happy! Not only that it's Labor Day weekend and not that should matter but I'm a union worker and I just appreciate it!  Chris thank you so much I look forward to working with you in the future. Martine and his assistant arrived at 9:08am, right at the start of the 9-11am window. Yes! They quickly assessed and fixed what was wrong with our Noritz tankless water heater, even though the app for it wasn't working. Boom! We will definitely be calling New Generation Plumbing again if we have any other plumbing issues.

They came out and help me first thing in the morning when I really needed to get my water heater repaired. To make matters worse it was one of those days when we were having terrible rain and they had to work outside. Excellent service, honest guys. I will certainly recommend them.

We had to go through many plumbers before we got our problem fixed--and it was George at 911 Plumbing that did it. He was knowledgeable, courteous and thorough. He not only did the job, but looked at other aspects of my system and made easy-fix recommendations. The job wasn't cheap, but at the same time, when the problem ended up being a little less involved than we thought, he did agree to adjust the price accordingly. I appreciate that level of honesty and consideration.

Connie is the LeBron James of plumbing. So communicative and comprehensive, so nice, so enthusiastic, with a work ethic and charisma that would make Dwayne The Rock Johnson blush. She's in, she fixes the problem, she conveys exactly what the problem was and what the solution is, then she's gone with the wind (until next time). 10/10 recommend, will return.
