Rockstar Plumbing Plumbing Service
These guys are amazing.  I had a ghastly mess coming out of my downstairs shower drain.  I'm pretty handy, but this was well above my skill level, so I called Rockstar based on their reviews.  Shawn came out and was able to root out the problem.  There was no upsell, no BS, just good honest customer service.  Shawn was professional, on time, and competent.  He fixed the problem quickly, and the price was much lower than I expected.  Highly recommend.

Rocket Plumbing Plumbing Service
This wasn't my choice of plumber. My tenants unfortunately called these plumbers to relight a water heater. The tenants were forced to pay CASH on the spot. What kind of reputable business demands cash? If you call this company:caveat emptor. They have post office boxes with street addresses throughout Southern California to legitimize their service. Their Venice business & Santa Monica business addresses are both residential addresses. The plumber who came out wrote on the invoice 15 year old water heater from 2003. This was completely incorrect. The water heater was manufactured in 2007 & purchased & installed new in 2010 from a large home improvement chain store. So here's what happened: Chris came out & relit the pilot for a $120 service fee thinking in his mind that my water heater was 15 yrs old. Two days later the pilot went out. I left multiple messages with their answering service without a reply. Finally my son got in contact with the plumber Chris. He told him we needed a new water heater for $1400. Later the same day, I spoke with Chris. I have a COMPLETE TRANSCRIPT of that call. He absolutely refused to come out again to look at my water heater. He was rude, intimidating, demeaning & unprofessional. Later I got ahold of the owner Brian who I believe isn't the actual owner, but merely a customer service representative-- a sort of middle- man for the actual owners who are very ORGANIZED. He promised he would have another plumber Jose come on a Monday ( it was a Friday) when I spoke to Brian. I didn't hear back the whole next week. Finally the next Friday Jose( second plumber) came out. He backed up.his co-worker's story that my water heater needed replacing. He even feigned trying to relight the pilot. Fast forward to a few days later: I got another plumber to come out. I had arranged to install a new water heater per Rocket Plumbing's advice. New plumber told me I don't need a new unit-- there was no rust or leaking. He was able to fix the unit with a part he had & gave me a warranty. Here's the bottom line: I have requested a refund of the $120 because the plumber did not do his job. He aged up my water heater on the receipt in a ploy to pressure me, an absentee owner, into purchasing a new unit. Brian ( the owner?) refused & told me I was wasting his time & money & that I just wanted to get something for free. Brian tried to get me to give him the phone number of the new plumber I got to.fix the water heater. I sent him the invoice, but not the #. I'm assuming he was planning on intimidating the other plumber. This is how they operate. They assume that most customers have little knowledge about plumbing ( which is a great assumption if you are calling this company.) Chris actually yelled at me: ARE YOU A PLUMBER?  I'm expecting Brian to reply to this review with a boilerplate I tried everything to satisfy this customer but believe me he didn't. I deserve a refund. I'll be protesting in front of their phony street address/mail box store soon.  Update : re: Brian's response: The water heater is perfectly fine the new plumber had a part & fixed it. He didn't just relit the pilot. He gave me a One year warranty. You even admit that your plumber made an error on the receipt about the date of the heater. The tenant who.paid cash told me that he would not recommend you as plumbers. You are the intimidating ones. Let me know if you would like a full transcript of my conversation with your plumber Chris. I waited a whole week for the other plumber Jose to come out- then when I contacted you- you acted like it was a big chore to send him out after it had been promised. You are listed on a website as the customer relations person. Why should I pay $ 120 for someone to light the pilot & then it goes out two days later-- did Chris tell the tenants he thought the water heater was failing? Please move back to Chicago, and God Bless. It's not my problem if you lost money because your plumber screwed up the original job. You owe me the money & you have made the decision to not do.the honorable thing. Shame on you. What kind of customer would be pleased with paying $120 to relight a pilot & get a receipt with the wrong manufacturing date? I will pray for you.

New Generation Plumbing Plumbing Service
Hands down the best service ever. They show up on time and do honest work. Instead of insisting on a replacement they did a repair on my bathroom faucets which was a relief.

I highly recommend them. If you're putting off plumbing work, pull the trigger and call them now!

Shout out Martin and Carlos, thank you so much!!!

I've used them on a big sewer repair before too. I can't say enough about their quality of work.

Z&H Plumbing & Water Heaters Plumbing Service
Zorro talked me through the shutdown of my water heater and after looking at pictures saved me a lot of time and an expensive visit. We then realized I needed a new water heater despite him wanting to try to repair it we both soon realized it was in need of replacement. He was able to rearrange his schedule to do a same day replacement. Fast, efficient, professional, and smart.  The right combo.

Flood Brothers Plumbing Plumbing Service
I hired Flood Brothers almost a month ago because of a kitchen drain that was stopped up. They came out and asked me when the last time I had my drains cleaned out. Not ever knowing that I had to do that, I told them never. They told me that I had to have them hydro flushed or blasted.
they quoted me $680.
I must have looked shocked as I had no idea the extent of work that would be involved with the process.
I jokingly asked if they had an old guys rate. They were kind enough to come down a few dollars. They had to bring out the correct equipment. In the interim, I called one of my brothers who has a plumbing business that I never call because I don't want to take advantage of him. He does mainly commercial jobs. He told me the $680 quote was a great price because he would normally charge almost twice as much.
I gave the go ahead to Flood Brothers and they called another truck that had special equipment on it to do the job later that day.

Bottom line was they responded to my outreach almost immediately, came in with a great price and had the job done the same day.
One of the results that really surprised me was, our kitchen faucet is at the other end of the house from the hot water heater. It used to take a long time for the water to turn hot. Now it takes but a few seconds. No wasted water.
I will absolutely call them again!!!!

Sal's Plumbing-El Segundo/LAX Plumbing Service
Made an appointment easily over the phone to inspect a leak under the kitchen sink. Appreciated the free leak inspection as other companies sometimes charge just to come out. The plumber actually showed up earlier than the expected time window and was very courteous. He found the leak very quickly and it turned out the leak just needing a tightening of the water spray. Thankfully he said no charge as the fix took like one second. Appreciated the quick service and his time. Will definitely use them next time and recommend them.

911 Plumbing Services Plumbing Service
Thank you Art and 911 Plumbing Services for taking care of my problem and making it a 2-hour inconvenience rather than a multi-day nightmare!

I thought I had a leak from an old and unused sprinkler system on the front lawn. It turned out to be a fast leak in the water main (1 water supply line to house). At 4:25 on a Friday, I called 911 Plumbing who said they could have a technician out by 5:00. Art arrived early, provided a clear estimate and explanation, bailed the pooled water, dried the area, patched and re-welded the pipe, checked it for water-tightness, demonstrated the fix to me, cleaned up (including refilling the hole) and was gone by 6:25. The price was $225, which was within his estimate. The company did not charge me an emergency fee because I called within business hours.

I appreciate everything about this transaction. They could have raked me and did not. Art was courteous and tidy. The receptionist who took the call was knowledgeable and called me back with a time estimate within just a few minutes.

American Drain Works & Plumbing Company Plumbing Service
Our bathroom sink was completely clogged with an additionally slow-running tub drain and my husband's efforts to snake it had been unsuccessful. As of the Monday before Thanksgiving, we had been unable to use our bathroom sink for 5 days and my shower left me standing in 3 - 4 inches of water.

American Drain Works was recommended by a friend who has used them for years. After calling another plumber who couldn't commit to coming out until AFTER Thanksgiving, I called this company and asked if Chris was available. Unfortunately, he wasn't, but Brenda said that they had some subcontractors who could probably come out same day. She called me back quickly and said someone could actually be here by noon. Great!

The subcontractor, Paxton, called once he was outside (which was around 11:30 a.m.) and he and another man came in and checked out the problem. They were here just about an hour and fixed both the sink and the tub drain. Everything was running smoothly. They were efficient and nice.

However, my mistake, apparently, was in not getting an estimate PRIOR to the work being done. According to my receipt, he snaked my sink & tub (& replaced my sink plug assembly) within 45 minutes of arrival, yet it cost $225! The last time I had a plumber out to do the same thing, it cost me less than $100. I was never provided an estimate by anyone, unfortunately, so I never had the ability to approve the price before the work was done. Darn.

I'm not sure why this was so much more than the last time I had this done, but I am grateful for the speedy and efficient service.
