If you have a house...you need a guy for everything you can't or don't want to do. I had a guy for plumbing stuff, but he's not my guy anymore. McGuire is now my guy!! Had an outside drain suddenly clog up at the basement door after getting a deck torn down and replaced. Coincidence? I think not! Anyhow, I called McGuire and left a msg expecting not to actually get a call back. Not only did he call back he headed over right after finishing a job and knocked it out. We also got an estimate on a future project that I'll definitely be hiring him for. His prices were below my previous guys and he's a lot closer.

Matt was right on time for both the bid and the project. We had a sink that needed a garbage disposal and leak repair. He was very fast, friendly and the sink looks and works great. This is why you choose a family business over the big companies. I would recommend Winscott Works to anyone who asked.

Stanley was beyond helpful and did a great job with my bathroom project. He always responded in a quick timeframe and was very friendly and insightful. Would recommend him for any of your plumbing needs.

I've used several plumbing companies in the 21 years as a homeowner in Lees Summit. All have been good. However, I recently have used Alliance Plumbing for several plumbing jobs and have found Glenn and his company the best, most up-front and honest, and cost-effective plumbers thus far. They are always on time, always the best price, clean up thoroughly when done, know what they're doing, stand behind their work, and are responsive to inquiries. I highly recommend Glenn and Alliance Plumbing.

Todd answered the call on a Friday night and showed up bright and early on a Saturday morning to clear the obstruction in my kitchen sink drain. He was polite and courteous and had my sink draining again within 30 mins after I'd spent the entire evening prior trying to snake it myself. His prices are very reasonable and his results speak for them self. Highly recommend for any of your drain issues!

Purchased a new home and he came by, looked over everything, and gave us recommendations about what needed attention and what didn't. Many things recommended by home inspection were deemed by Randy to be just fine. In short, he spent about 1.5 hrs looking things over and we didn't need to fix anything. And he didn't charge us for coming out. Later we had new toilet and faucets installed by him and he did excellent work and didn't overcharge us. I would call him again in a heartbeat. A great guy!

Fixed 2 leaking faucets and changed out kitchen faucet. Worked 1.5 hours and charged me $240 just in labor. That's $160 an hour. Charged more than big companies with big overhead. This guy works out of his house, thought he would be more reasonably priced. I was wrong.

My water heater was leaking all over the place. Rusted out. They showed up quick... on time... and not only put in a new water heater but got that old piece of junk out of my house. I'm grateful.

Our tech Hayden was up front and honest about our entire Plumbing nightmare. He did everything he could to explain what he was doing and get our sink back in order and our house functional again! We felt the price was fair considering the labor he had to put into the job. We will absolutely be using them again.

50 bucks for a service call - no problem, but then...
Service guy said it would be 400.00 for a capacitor on a 5 year old a/c unit. That's right - FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR A TWENTY DOLLAR PART. Takes 5 minutes to change. I'll be filing a report with the better business bureau. I recommend any other company than them.

I had Kyle come out to replace my very old water heater, because we've had amazing service in the past. He came out same day I called and did a great job. He also found a small gas leak the gas company couldn't find which had been a worry and a concern for us. I'll never call anyone else. So friendly and knowledgeable. Did the job in a timely, professional manner at a fair price.

Had these folks out Dec 2014 for a misbehaving furnace. They told us we weren't getting the right fresh air for intake into the furnace, and failing to have it would cause the sensors to short and the furnace to overheat and blow the motor. For a hefty price they put in venting to the outside.
This fall, the furnace was acting up again. Had a different company out. They said the furnace is overheating and the vent pipe was the wrong size. It requires 3 pipe and KB put in a 2 pipe, even though the manufacturer specifically states in the specs it is 3. Called KB back and shared this information.
They sent someone out. After looking at the furnace, they refused to replace the pipe. The guy said the problem was now the motor (despite the fact they acknowledged the pipe was the wrong size and was the root problem). Said they would not install the correct size pipe like they should have in the first place, but they were happy to replace the motor for $1800. We politely told them to go away. We called the office directly and were given the same response.
We hired a family owned company to come out and replace the motor, sensor, replace some valves, replace the pipe with the correct size and give us a warranty on the labor. All for under $800.
I am amazed a company with such a large presence in the area would treat established customers so poorly, but with 2 different HVAC companies certifying the problem is in the pipe, we have no choice to conclude KB is a company that fails to stand behind their work and does not conduct the due diligence expected by people who are experts in the field.

Chris Gonzales is nothing but a con man. Do not contact this person. He screwed our job up and ripped us off. We've had to hire someone to repair his work and are reporting to state.
