We had a emergency situation at the house, backed up drain in the basement with flooding. Seriously 24-7 was the first people we contacted. They were very quick to get to the house, around 90 minutes. Great response time. The technician was very friendly and explained everything that we needed to know.

We just bought our house in December and the AC went out. We had called a couple other companies but Chapman had the best price so much so we decided to go ahead and replace our furnace at the same time.
On the hottest day so far of the year Chapman was able to get right out to our house on Monday and get it installed on Thursday. They were professional and busted their butts getting the system installed.
I was so happy with all the work and explanation of the systems. Highly recommend.

Watch out for the additional charges. He added $40 worth of parts that he never told me about until he was done. His prices I feel are inflated. I paid $335 to have a $75 sink faucet replaced.
He waited 81 days to deposit my check. In that time I had to get a new checking account. I didn't close out my account until more than 30 days since the last interaction was posted, but I didn't validated all checks had been paid out. To be honest I right maybe 3 checks a year so I didn't think about it. I would think a entrepreneur would want to get paid and wouldn't sit on a check for 81 days.
When my check was returned I immediately paid him, but he was adamant that it was all my fault and I had to pay his returned check fee. My mistake was an honest one and I paid my debt. He wouldn't budge on his returned check fee.
Update...for the record I paid the return check fee and PayPal fee. It was you that offered to return those fees after a long morning of debating

I had a Steve lined up to come today (3/4/19). I felt very comfortable with him and his reviews. I took a half day off of work and was home by 11:45 at the latest. Steve called and texted at 12:04 to say his plumber was on his way and was I home? I didn't hear his phone call or text, either because I walked outside to the mailbox at one point or just didn't hear it when I was mopping the floor. I called Steve around thirty minutes after his initial phone call and he curtly told me he sent his worker (his son) to another location. Note: I was home. He said he would send his son out between 12:30 and 1:30, after he finished up with his previous job. He never said he would call ahead of time. I had just texted him pictures of the water damage the previous night (3/3/19) so, obviously, I was going to be home.
There was no excuse for what he did. His reasoning was they always call ahead of time because customers change their minds. That was NEVER mentioned to me.
I was very clear that he was the plumber I wanted to use, and that I was taking a half day off. Obviously, I planned to be home if I texted him on Sunday night at 7:00, showing him pictures of the water damage in my home.
I would never treat a customer like this, and as a result, I would never recommend him to anyone.

I searched for someone to grind out corrugated drainage pipes at my mom's house in Noblesville. Weilhammer no longer does that grinding, but M made a recommendation. Weilhammer's top tip was him suggesting how to KEEP the pipes clear of roots. AND he said likely tree roots had gotten in the drainage holes (and that's what likely happened).

The 'big company' guy wandered around the house dropping quotes for new toilets, drilling holes, and replacing all the lines that had nothing wrong with them. SO... if you want somebody who straight-up and no BS, David is the guy! (OTOH if you want outrageous quotes and massive up-selling, then go with Acme...)

We bought a new home and had some minor plumbing issues to get looked at. Unfortunately for us this plumbing service was what Angie's List recommended.
Was charged 300 dollars for a tightening on the toilet and an incorrectly hooked up fridge. He was here about 1.5 hours, charged for 2, and half of the time was spent wandering back and forth from his car and fixing a mistake he made in hooking up the fridge to the water line. On top of this was extremely unfriendly and lazy- told us to call the manufacturer for a leaky faucet and for a leaky dishwasher. Told us it would cost us another 600 to cut a hole in the floor and run a pipe into a small room to move the washer up from the basement. Generously took off 15 dollars for making a mistake that he tried to convince us didn't matter and was extremely rude about correcting.
Cannot recommend less. Extremely Unsatisfied.

Our technician, Jeremy, was very punctual. When he came in he immediately put his orange booties on and went to work. He was very professional in his inspection and confirmed what we already knew in one bathroom. With the exception of the one bathroom we passed the inspection. Jeremy gave us helpful advice in the settings on our water heater. Once done with the inspection I asked him if he could repair the problem in the guest bathroom and he said he could, and he did. Even with the help of one of our five cats. We have dealt with this company several times now and am very pleased with their services.

Peterman Brothers replaced 3 electrical receptacles/outlets for me. They were there for 1 hour. They charged $440. homeguide.com and other sites say that $50-130 per hour is the rate for 1 hour. The math does not add up.
So I called Peterman with the hope to have this explained to me. Morgan (receptionist I believe) answered and said I'd get a call back. It has been a week and...no call. I also emailed them. No response.
I plan to go elsewhere for my rental units in the future.

short and curt review. on Wednesday 8/4/21 our A/C went out. My wife called them based on their review? They were quick to respond . The technician told my wife the condensing fan motor was bad. New one would cost $1600. Now the bad news. It will take 4-6 weeks to get the part. But we have new complete units available to install by next week. We don't break down complete units for parts, he said. He also told my wife that a new condensing unit would not match up to the old inside condensing coil so a totall replacement of the entire HVAC was needed. So he could have some qualified people come look at it for proper sizing.
I ordered the hard to find part and had it delivered on Saturday 8/7/21. I didn't like the hard sell or up sell he offered my wife. So I called someone else to look at it. The unit had cooked itself. Because of the fan motorways not working. Johnson technician could have made a sale and we would be on our way to a new out door unit by Tuesday. On Saturday the 8/7/21 I called the Johnson heating and cooling office because the technician never forwarded a quote to us. He never submitted to his office that we needed items for repairs or replacement. I want want my $149 diagnostic fee returned. Dishonest, incomplete diagnosis of the problem and incompetence. Failure To complete the task at hand.
