Pacific Bath Company representative Dale Moore designed the bathroom and gave me an estimate of $33,000, was told that the pan is custom made and will take about 8 weeks but will be given an update weekly. Never got an update after the first call. I decided to cancel in January 2022, I spoke to Christian S, who was the sales manager at the time. I was told that if I cancel, I will still be charged for the custom made pan, which cost $8000. I told Christian my concerns and he promised to keep me posted, so I agreed to move ahead with the project. At the beginning of February 2022, I was told everything is ready and scheduled for the 3 day job. Job was scheduled for the middle of February. I went home around lunch time to check on the progress, nothing was started. The crew told me that there is a load bearing wall so they are calling their supervisor Josh. Question is why didn't someone from the company check on it before designing the remodel in the first place or have somebody come out to check on it before the start of the project. The crew left because they didn't hear back from Josh. I waited for Josh to call me back. I called the office to talk to the manager, Andrea. Andrea never called me back. Josh called later in the day and told me that he will have someone come by the house the following morning to check on the wall in question. The guy who came out (can't remember his name) said it was not a load bearing wall and will let Josh know that the project can go ahead. I got a call an hour or two after I got to work from Will, who thought I knew that he was coming over to check on the wall. It turned out Josh sent somebody who is not from the company; Will is. So, I had to drive back home to meet Will. Will confirmed that the wall is not load bearing and will inform the office. Josh never called me back to update, Ashley from the office called to reschedule the remodeling work end of February. I was told on the first or second day of the project that it will take 4-5 days, instead of the 3 days. What can I do. At the end of the second day of the job, Brett (one of the crew) told me that they will not be back to the house to work because the custom made pan has a crack and Josh will call me. I was told that the crack is on the side and is not going to affect anything, just cosmetic. I told Brett, if that's the case, why cant Josh just give me a call at that time to settle it and move ahead with the project. Josh called me the following day, gave me options. Since the bathroom is all torn down and it' s a mess, and it's only a small crack that's not going to cause any water leaking, I agreed to go ahead with the project and Pacific Bath offered to give me a $1500 discount for the pan. So, Josh had the guys come back that day to restart the project. At the end of the 4th day, I was asked by the crew for tiles. They were told that I am providing the tiles. I told them no I'm not, that I specifically told Dale that I don't have extra tiles and he said not to worry because they will find tiles that match my bathroom floor. I spoke to Josh at some point, who made a comment that Will is going above and beyond to look for the tiles. At the end of the 6th day (Saturday), I asked the crew what else needs to be done because it didn't look like it's close to being completed and it is already the end of the week. Brett told me it's almost done. I asked how about the glass and he said that's up to me. I asked him what he meant by that, and he said they are a bath company and they don't do glass. I said that when Dale gave me the design and cost, he mentioned where the glass is going to go but never told me that I am going to have to buy it myself. I got upset and called Josh, who was out of town at the time. He said he will look into it and call me back when he comes back to town. Never heard from him. There was no communication on when they will be back to finish the job, only that Will is coming by the next Monday. I got a call from Gower Telly, who is the new sales manager, apologized and promised to call me back once he knows more. Guess what, no follow up calls. He did not even return my call or text. When Will came by, I asked him if he thinks what they left me with is ok. Work was not up to par. I told Will my concerns and he assured me that he will bring it to the company. From then on, Will would come by to work on the bathroom. The first day he had some help working on the project, they had to tear down everything the previous crew worked on for a week. The project is mostly complete, except for the glass, which has to be ordered and takes 4-5 weeks. So, as of this writing, I still cannot use my bathroom. You cannot trust or rely on anyone from Pacific Bath Company. The manager Andrea, Sales manager Gower or Supervisor Josh. The only one who took responsibility and can be relied on is Will. I appreciate the work Will has done.
