I called to have a laundry room sink installed in my home. Dave promptly responded on the same day I called and did a real professional job at installing the sink. His fee was very reasonable and comparable with quotes I received from other vendors. Some of the other vendors weren't interested as this was considered a rather small job. I recommend him for any plumbing work you might need be it big or small.

Selected Capital Plumbing based upon the reviews here on Yelp and I was not disappointed.  Dave and his brother Dan provided excellent quality service for a reasonable price, on time and with a good attitude!  I have no problem recommending Capital Plumbing to all my neighbors, friends, family and Yelp community!  Dave and Dan have on old school approach to business and put their efforts into creating and keeping happy customers vs some of the other Plumbing companies who charge you more to pay for all their advertising since they rarely have repeat customers.

I run my own Handyman business and from time to time I need a licensed plumber to perform certian tasks.  I have used a few different plumbers over the years and was  never been truly happy with the service they provided.   I found Dave about two years ago and he quickly became my go to plumber.  He is always on time.  Always expalins what needs to be done and why.  Always works neat and leaves the place cleaner than he found it.  Not to mention that his prices are GREAT and he is a true professional.  Dave is the only plumber I reccommend to my clients.  I know he will do a great job for my clients and and make me look good.

Dave is simply the best...He deserves 10 stars!

I recently purchased my first home and had an issue with hooking up my washing machine.  The connections were rusted so bad, they needed to be removed and have new connections installed.  Being fairly new to Las Vegas, I turned to Yelp to assist with finding a trustworthy plumbing service.  After reviewing several companies, I called Capital Plumbing.  

Dave is honest, fair, on-time and extremely detail oriented.  He arrived and told me they had to cut open a small area of the wall to cut the pipes (since they wouldn't loosen) and install new hardware, as the connections were completely rusted away.  He completed the job and had the washer up and running in just a couple hours!  

Based on what he saw, he asked if I had a water softener.  I said no, and he explained how important they are in Las Vegas.  I wasn't sure exactly what he was talking about, so we looked them up online.  Sears happened to have a great sale on a high-end unit, so I purchased it.  A week later, I attempted to pick it up, but it wouldn't fit in my car.  Frustrated, I called Dave.  He met me and placed the unit in his truck and we headed for my house.  

He wasn't looking to simply install my water softener...he explained exactly how he would install the unit and answered my questions during the install.  Once completed, he explained the unit and how to maintain it.  He then looked at my water heater and asked how long it had been there.  I wasn't sure, but I heard some periodic strange noises from it.  It was giving me hot water and that's all I cared about!  He said since there hadn't been a water softener and with LV water being hard, it may need to be replaced (hence the noises).  He said the washing machine issue (rusted pipes) was due to years of hard water.  After looking at the water heater, he made a call.  

A few minutes later, he told me it was still under warranty and he could have it replaced with the only charge being installation.  He highly recommended replacing it, as moving forward, there would be soft water going through the new heater.  I was reluctant since I'd have to rent a truck to return the old unit and pick up the new unit.  He then told me not to worry - if I wanted it done, he would remove the old unit and complete the exchange for me.  

I was blown away.

That's exactly what he did.  Within hours, I had a brand new water softener and water heater.  He saved me from a big headache and completed all the work for a fair price.  

Since then, I've had him and his team back to assist with other smaller jobs (toilet repair, etc.) around the house.  He will always be my first call.  I don't care if there are other services who may quote a cheaper price.  You can't put a price on piece of mind...and that's exactly what Dave gives his customers.  Dave won't leave until he's completely confident the job is done right.  And if there happens to be an issue after he leaves, he will drive across town as soon as possible to make it right.    

I'm sure he's busy, so I would never expect him to go above and beyond again like he did for the water softener and water heater.  

Since my head was spinning from just purchasing my first home, that fact he went above and beyond then, has earned him a customer for life.

I called David On Labor Day About a terrible banging on our water pipes  David reassured me it was just the water pressure regulator located in the garage. He could have come up with many other sources for the problem to get more money but he didn't. He came out the very next day and replaced the faulty regulator. Honest and fair pricing, what more could you ask for. This is my second review on Capitol Plumbing. And I would give them 10 Stars if i could !!!!!!!!!

I purchased a water softener online and needed the install done. My home did not have a loop for this but Capital Plumbing came out and did an amazing job with the installation. Pricing was very reasonable for the work that they had to do. I highly recommend this company. Another Yelp selection that I used that didn't let me down.

These guys are great! My kitchen sink collapsed from under the kitchen countertop because the builder failed to install a required bracket. I gave Capital a call and they were out the same day to fix it. Dave and Dan, 2 brothers that know what they're doing. The price is fair and I trust their work. Highly recommended!

All around awesome experience. We needed a new kitchen sink installed, they came out and gave me an estimate as well as talked about the process and what problems may arise during install. They said they would be back in a day to install. They showed up on time, technically early and did an excellent job. We ending up having a few issues - the sink we bought was very warped and the channels were all bent, the P trap needed to be moved, reverse osmosis system had to be taken and out and put back in etc. (Obviously none of this was through any fault of theirs, just all the hassle they went through.) Through all this they were friendly, positive and worked nonstop. Dave and Dan are both incredibly knowledgeable . I would trust them with any plumbing issues.
Oh, and their price was $300 less than another plumbing co. quote.

David was great! I called about some minor plumbing issues. He didn't charge for things he didn't need to. He showed me how to do part of it myself and gave me supplies to do it to save money. Very professional, helpful, honest and the best experience I've had hiring a plumber by far! Would recommend to anyone and will use again myself in the future!

If you want professional service that goes above and beyond, call this company. If you want the job done right the first time, call this company. David came out assessed the situation, called the city to make sure everything was under code and fixed the problem. If you own a new home in Las Vegas you may encounter the same problem we did. The fire sprinkler system is connected to the master bathroom. This causes a clog in the system from time to time. Again if you want it fixed call Capital Plumbing.

He told me if he charged any less, I would not respect him any more. He was asking $179 minimum for a job that another qualified plumber did it for $120. I gave him an extra star because he did a good job for me before. Apparently his job quality is good but he charges as much as he can to get respected.

Scenario: cold water valve to our washer snapped off. Water shooting everywhere. Had to turn all the water off to our house. No sooner had I left a message when I got the call back. Capital plumbing was out to my house in about 30 minutes! Gentleman was courteous and upfront about the potential repair but had everything fixed in a relatively short time frame. Awesome service!  I called before they were open, left a message and someone called me back shortly after they opened. The service was quick, they were honest and trustworthy. I was told exactly what was wrong with our toilet/pipes and how they can fix it.  I even got a call the next day to make sure everything was still ok and to see if I had any questions. I was impressed.

Exdellent  and complete with our bathroom repairs for our plumbing in the bathrooms, etc.  Very professional and definitely would use again. Came in on time, was reasonable, and cleaned up after he was through. The norhwest side and Centennial areas of Vegas needs a real professional.  Very satisfied.  M. H. David is absolutely the best. I've worked with him for 4 years. He did a garage conversion for me which I've had no problems with. He shows up on time and when promised. I also had some sewage backup issues from work that a previous plumber and he was with me every step of the way, from finding me the person to clean the sewage line and run a camera. He stayed with me while that person did their work and made sure I understood what the problem was and what the potential fixes were. And, he never charged me for that time (I, of course, paid him because it was the right thing to do).  He's personable and I just really have a lot of respect for him, his skill and his work ethic. I hardly every post reviews. Capital plumbing definitely has earned its 5 stars

AMAZING service!  Dave and his brother Dan set me up with a brand new water heater and taught me what all the pipes were in my garage.  They were quick, professional and very friendly.  Will definitely recommend this company to all my friends!

David called me back when he said he would.  He and his partner arrived when they said they would.  He charged me the price, which I thought was reasonable, that he quoted me over the phone.  They did the work correctly.  That's what I needed.  Thank you Dave & Dan

David and his brother Dan come from a family of plumbers so they go beyond just fixing a leak.  They really provide excellent advice on how to fix the plumbing to your own personal specifications and needs. They installed a larger trap under my kitchen sink as I cook very regularly and need the larger trap. They are extremely knowledgeable, reasonably priced and are CLEAN and courteous. They installed my two 75-gallon hot water tanks at a very reasonable price. They are honest and have great integrity. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs an honest and capable plumber.

WOW, can't get any better when a guy, (David) is at the airport getting ready to fly out of town and takes the time to help you out.  

My sprinkler system would not shut off with everything I tried.  I called Capital Pluming spoke with David, he's at the airport, leaving but took the time to explain what I need to look for.  Heaven behold, I couldn't find it, he found a picture and texted it to me, still not found.  David sent me his brothers phone to help me out, no sooner than I call him I find the shut off value, (it was hidden under a fake boulder).  

With service and commitment I was given today, I have found a new plumber, no question about it.

David is the real deal! He put in our soft water system, a new hot water heater, unclogged our garbage disposal and a few other minor repairs. He is always on time, explains things before he does them and gives a fair price. It's nice to know when something breaks that you have a go-to-guy that won't take advantage of you.

I had 2 drains and a water heater put in for a bathtub to shower conversion. The casita water heater was tricky and they put in a very professional Instalation. Very clean. Great job! They were on time and very good at what they do. I was extremely happy with their work and would use the guys again for sure. I finally found an honest and reliable plumber with reasonable prices. The bid was what I paid. No typical bait and switch. Could not have asked for a better experience or outcome with my project.

Imagine being under the stress of sole caregiver to your husband who suddenly needs a walk-in bath tub...yesterday!
Local walk-in bathtub companies wasted our precious time insisting on in home sales pitches for tubs that were priced rediculously high.
Then, I found Capitol Plumbing and it was relief from the first phone call through job completion. They answered questions on the phone, plus their competence in each phase of instalation from ordering, delivering, and plumbing our beautiful walk-in tub was supurb...true professionalism...not one issue.

Very honest and to the point. Dave and Dan came out to replace our water heater, we were quoted with a fair price and they were finished just a few hours after I called! They are both down to earth and professional and made the daunting task of replacing our heater, not so bad! Hopefully we won't need a plumber anytime soon, but if we do, We will call them!

David and his team did a great job converting a walk in tub to walk in shower!! Pleasant and easy to work with.

Great customer service. Honest, clean and well worth it. Dave and Dan informed me that my water heater was on warranty. They removed it, took it to the other side of town for warranty replacement, and installed it back into my house. Only charged me for installation. Other companies quoted me $1300-$1500 for the same service.
