Outstanding customer service and job well done.  Eddie is the best, very hard worker and keeps me updated on the project. If I have any questions, he will answer in detail and politely.  Highly recommend this company.

I needed a 2nd opinon on the operation of my pool.  I have had the same pool guy for 15 years. The In Floor Pop Up system stopped operating and he repaired it.   With the repair however the water flowing from our spa into the pool changed from a lovely waterfall to a trickle and periodic water fall.   He told us that was how the pool was supposed to operate, however the Boss (my wife) got use to the waterfall and sound and was unhappy.

We called American Leak Detection in. Cody called before coming over.  He arrived when he said he would, was polite and knowledgeable.  He checked over our entire pool and every system (pump, filters, cleaner system, heater, etc.) and pronounced our pool equipment to be functioning properly.  He said our water was beautifully clear and there was nothing he could do for us.   He was prepared to not charge us for the trip.  We insisted we pay for his time.    Excellent customer service.  We would commend American Leak Detection to you as fair, honest and reliable.

Rob is the BEST!!!  All of my communications with Rob has been by phone to help out a friend who has dementia, so it was challenging as the homeowner was not engaged in any of the communications.  Initially it was to perform a leak detection due to a leak in the downstairs bathroom.  It turned out to be a huge job, where I had to engage the home insurance company due to asbestos in the walls.

Rob had:
* Assessed and replaced leaking piping in the flooring between the upstairs and downstairs.
* Replaced the kitchen faucet.
* Assessed why one of the upstairs toilets was permanently plugged. The toilet had to be removed.  He covered over the toilet floor area so that the homeowner would not fall and harm himself.
* On his own time, repaired the second upstairs toilet due to a leak, at no charge.
* Came by several times to figure out why the garbage disposal was not working. Turned out the garbage disposal electrical plug was loose and needed to be tightened.

I found Rob to be fair, friendly and down-to-Earth. I would definitely call on him again.

This took place 9 mths ago, so I'm a little late in my review. What's really scary about Rob is that I just called him, and he immediately remembered me by my first name and the details of the job though it was many many months ago.

Repairman fixed the wrong pipe.  The pipe that leaked water into our living room continued to leak and re-flooded our living room.  American Leak Detection repairman who came to re-check his work said that they will work with my insurance adjuster to get another quote ($) to fix the leaking pipe.
No word from ALD and no word from my insurance adjuster.  I've paid for the services wrongly or misdiagnosed....will request a refund or go before the contractor's board to resolve this matter.

2 months ago this company came out to work on one of my rental properties. When the tenant asked for the bill, they said they only leave the bill with the owner. And two months later I have yet to receive a bill.  They could have left a bill with the tenant, or they could have mailed it to her address, or they could have mailed it to my address, or they could have recontacted me on Yelp. None of this happened. And yet I receive a letter from them that they are going to place a lien on my property if this bill is not paid.  Mind you, I have yet to receive a bill, or a description of the work completed, or any sort of warranty on the work or parts.  Worst and most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with as a property owner. Unbelievable!  Buyer beware!

If I could give a negative rating I would.  Please save your time and money and don't use these guys.  I've waited for my appointment all day with my water off  and a no show or conformation that I'm still being serviced.  I've decided to call another company that's 24/7 and reliable anytime.  I will not refer this company nor will I network them through friends and family.  no pity for my family as I told the dispatcher that I have two toddlers in the house!  What a disappointment!!! We called back several times in the afternoon before closing and no one answered.  Lost my service but you gained this sour review!

Very punctual professional and courteous. I hope I never need them again but if I do, I'll definitely use them again. They just finished my repair a few hours ago and did not go over the quoted amount. Ask for Clint! He'll hook you up.

Our pool developed a leak, something no pool owner ever wants, but because of shoddy construction of pump/supply piping.  We called them and they came out a couple weeks later with detection equipment and found the suspected area of the leak.
Joey and his helper came out a while later and got to work.  They worked diligently and upon finding the leak, repaired it, checked it, and now we're good to go.
I'm making this write up because of Joey and his helper.  He is the most conscientious, courteous, hard-working, gentleman we have ever had the pleasure of knowing.  His helper complimented their teamwork by being equally friendly and conscientious, and they both deserve a raise in their salaries.  I hope American Leak sees this and takes positive action to reward these hardworking folks accordingly.

They came out and diagnosed the location of the leak in my master bathroom, gave me two proposed fixes. The whole experience was great, considering the circumstances. Elvis and Guillermo were the two technicians that came and repaired the leaking line. Totally professional, explained everything they were doing. Did the job with as little demo as possible. Cleaned everything up before they left. The whole experience was awesome, from the scheduling to the workmanship!

The technician arrived as scheduled on 03/13/2014 and all services were performed on that day.

From the Leak Detection Report:
Called out for water damage to wall dividing properties. Performed electronic detection on homeowner's property finding no leaks and no meter movement at this time. Inspected neighbor's yard finding leak in valve box and line to drip system separated and leaking to be likely cause of damage to the wall.Turned off irrigation system to neighbor's yard for the time being.

This report from an independent third party which the technician gave me and also sent me via e-mail had a few pictures of the wall damage in question. This was just what I needed since it looked like I might have to take my neighbor to Small Claims Court if he refused to reimburse me for the damage to my wall ($926.00 which he did eventually pay).

The only issue that I have with the service provided is that it was a bit expensive for the time and effort (minimal, 15-20 minutes) expended by the technician. Even with the 10% off Angie's List coupon that I had my cost was still $225.00 ($250.00 less $25.00).

Otherwise everything else was smooth sailing.

Description of work:
I was experiencing extensive water damage to the painted north concrete block wall (CMU - concrete masonry units) that I share with my next-door neighbor. The ground/soil beneath my side of the wall was completely saturated and I suspected that the source of the problem was a leak originating on my neighbor's side of the wall since I could not find a leak on my side.

After one week's time with no response from my neighbor after first bringing this water problem to his attention, I called American Leak Detection to specifically determine the source of the problem.

This company is a disaster and a complete waste of time and money.  They were assigned to find a gas leak in our house.  We have no hot water, no showers, no cooking, we are freezing, and no laundry.  They did not treat us like an emergency at all.  For two weeks, they were only available twice to look for the leak (too busy and too many customers they said).  After looking for 6 hours total, they suddenly dropped our case because they didn't want to open walls to find the leak.  Then I found out they are not authorized or recommended by our local gas company to do leak detection.  When they came to find the leaks, they did not have the right equipment and seemed disorganized and annoyed with our problem.  We tried to contact the owner of the company and he did not even bother to return the call.  They promised to send a 2nd technician for a 2nd opinion and then never did.

If I could give negative stars for the poor customer service, I would. The woman who answers is so rude, Megan. She's the one I'd previously dealt with. We set up an appointment last week on Friday. The technician came out and said there was no leak. We paid $250 for this report, mind you, so we could present it to the Water District.

The Water District came out, turned the irrigation system on, and showed us how the meter began spinning. So, I called this company back and Megan starts telling me that he checked the meter and the irrigation system already. She's not the technician and nowhere in his notes does it say he turned the irrigation system on. I asked for a different technician to come out, and they told me I'd have to wait a week AFTER I already paid them. Well, I wasn't having that and asked to speak to a manager, who was a little nicer, but still had an attitude because I basically said that the person didn't do what we paid them to. I was upset and frustrated, but I tried to be nice to make sure they'd come out.

Clint and Gregorio came out. Thank GOD they are with the company because they turned my experience around. They identified the leak. I asked why the other technician wasn't able to do it, and Clint said he doesn't know what he did whole he was out. You should be able to trust that when you pay for a service, they're going to do it right the first time and you won't have to tell them how to do their job.

I really appreciate Clint and Gregorio, but I still have to give a low review for that initial experience. I understand having your team's back, but word of mouth is HUGE in business, especially when you're a small company. Negative two plus four stars for them... So, I gave them two stars.

DONT TRUST TO FIX POOL CRACKS OR YOU WILL BE PAYING AGAIN FOR IT TO BE REPAIRED BY ANOTHER COMPANY.  Had a crack in the pool causing water to leak into the ground.  They came, tested and determined this was the reason for the leak. To put a black liquid in front of the crack and seeing it went into the crack costs $350. Spent over $4,000 to repair it which entailed just applying a syringe of glue basically, sand it down and repainted the area to a different color than the pool is.  Surprise surprise.. pool man showed me that the crack is back and open and probably why my water bill has skyrocketed.  Called American Leak Detection who was quick to point out they have a 30 day warranty.  I guess they dont trust their own work beyond 30 days.. that's a sign right there.. they wanted another $350 to come in TWO WEEKS to put more black die in pool and watch it go into same crack they fixed 10 months ago.  Then it would cost me another $4000+ to repair again.  Why ? it's really too bad.. technicians were great but company not so much.  Avoid or you'll be paying someone else to repair same again correctly.

I have used American Leak Detection before so when I had a high water bill I called again. I was able to get an appointment for the following day and had a great experience. The technician's name is Richard and he quickly and professionally assessed the situation. (The good news was that the problem had been discovered the prior week by our landscaper, but I hadn't known until I made the appointment and wanted to have peace of mind in any event).  I highly recommend ALD in general and specifically Richard.

Horrible!  Rip off!!! The guy that came out to our home was rude and arrogant.  We have 600 gallons of water escaping daily from our pool.
They quoted me on the phone $300 for an initial pressure test and then $250 for pressure test of the in-floor if the initial leak detection was not fruitful.
When Eddy arrived he was rude, belittling and had a chip on his shoulder.   He took a spin around the pool and said that the water was escaping through the throat of the skimmer, the seal around the return pipes and some grout lines on the tile. Although skeptical that 600 gallons daily could be escaping through those holes, we paid him $200 to epoxy the holes that took him all of 15 minutes.  Rip off.... the pool is still leaking and now we are out the $200 plus he's calling back see if it is still leaking.  Eddy also claimed that unlike the original quote that the infloor and the pump plumbing could not be done in stages and upped the price by $100 for testing both if the epoxy did not stop the leak.

Needless to say the pool is still leaking and I feel totally ripped off!  I feel that this is some sort of tactic to increase their fees... Stay clear.

I have used this service on several occasions. The first time was to do a leak check on my jacuzzi. The second time was to do a leak check on my pool. The technician found a leak in the skimmer in both the jacuzzi and the swimming pool. I spent about $1500 on the leak detection and the repair. The jacuzzi leak got fixed but the swimming pool continued to leak. I then spent another $300 for a leak detection and another $450 for a repair which has not worked. It has been two weeks and the technician has not come out to fix this problem. Today the technician was scheduled but did not show up probably because the supervisor is prioritizing new jobs which earn the company money ahead of repairs of bad quality jobs which obviously they have to do for free. This is the worst service I have ever had from any company. I will NEVER use their service again. Also the lady who answered the phone her name was Kathryn was suspicious about me and asked me how I knew the water level was going down, she was rude to me on the phone. She asked for my email address so she could send me the report and also my credit card she needed as it was incorrect. I gave it to her asked, her to email me  copy and she never did. I can only image how she is with other clients. She is very disrespectful, I will never, ever use this company again. Your review helps others learn about great local businesses.

Please don't review this business if you received a freebie for writing this review, or if you're connected in any way to the owner or employees.

This Company is The Best! I was referred to them by my pool man, and he told me that to detect the leak in my pool, could take a few visits, but Roger from Pastime Pools said American Leak Detection, will get it done. Jon was the Tech who not only found the leak in my pool, he diagnosed a problem with my water softener that I never even knew about. It took 3 visits, no additional charges for the extra visits, and Jon actually had to do a dive, and get in my pool to discover that the leak was in the auto fill tube in the side wall of my pool. Jon discovered this as he used a hypodermic needle filled with blue dye and with the pump, filter and water shutoff, the blue dye was sucked from the pool, testifying to the leak, and then Jon did the repair to the 2 holes in the pipe, and rechecked it. Jon had me do a bucket test to make sure with the water shutoff that the pool level did not go down. ALL IS GOOD, and no more very high water bills.

Megan, The Office Manager was very helpful when I was calling to schedule the appointments, and Jon, The Water Whisperer, did a FANTASTIC JOB, and I would highly recommend them.

Efficient! Honest! Life savers! Thank you thank you thank you! The tech came out to my home and it was apparent to him that I did not have a leak he suggested I not have my system interrogated as it was as issue I already had fixed - his choice was to go ahead and do the interrogation anyway and charge me but instead did business the honest way. Much appreciation!

Well fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, shame on me again. Can't believe I went with this company after already leaving a bad review with them for taking over two days to deliver the leak report they charged $275 for. Do not use this company. Their leak detection is substandard and incomplete and they will withhold your report for as long as possible to try to stop you from getting other bids. I trusted that their repair detection was accurate and allowed them to do a repair on my house however my pipes are still leaking and apparently they found another leak and want to do another repair. No, there is no other repair needed. The pipe that's still leaking is the one that needed repairing in the first place. I got another leak detection report by a confident leak detector who refuted their initial findings and the work they've done so far. Stay away. I heard this company used to have a good reputation but they got bought out or something and the new owners are trash. Trash, trash, trash. Get your leak detection/repairs done by another company and don't believe whatever  BS reply the company comes up with to this Yelp review. There is a huge disconnect with their field technicians and the people in the office. Whoever is in the office has no idea what's really going on on people's property and they will try to send you wildly inaccurate and inflated invoices for unnecessary repairs.  Avoid like the plague.

American Leak Detection is responsive and came through in finding my pool leak. As far as I'm concerned, this is the only legitimate pool leak detection company in Las Vegas. I inquired about leak detection with five companies and this is the only one who was able to help me or responded to my call.

First, this company answers their phone and this sets them ahead of their competitors. The woman who answers is friendly. It was a bit of a process to find our pool leak and I was always able to reach someone when I called. Technician, Jon also communicated well about the process.

The leak detection fee is $350. $100 of that will be deducted from the cost of major repairs.

Jon worked hard to determine the source of our leak. He did a line test first and then did a dive test when it was determined that the problem wasn't with a line. I appreciated that he did an evaporation test to confirm that he made the correct repair.

I hope I don't need to call them again, but they'll be my first call if I have another pool leak.

Beware they want to charge you even if they don't  find leak. I called American Leak Detection, because I have continues water leaks on my property. The quote me 275$ to pin point the leak in 3 feet radius. They send a technician to find the leak and he wasn't able to find it.  The next day they send second technician to find the leak and he said  I am sorry I can't find the leak and left without finding anything
This company didn't help me or fix anything for me and now they want to pay them for just coming.

There's no words to describe how happy  I was with this company. After several attempts in trying to find where my leak was and hiring 4 different companies, with different diagnosis, JUAN jumped over my 7ft. Concrete wall and low and behold the problem lies in my neighbors yard. It was a total relief, knowing I still have a pool. I was ready to shut it down thinking I needed to break walls and concrete slabs. I am so thankful with the professionalism of this company and how they went above and beyond to help get the frustration out of me. The office girl Sheree was also a blessing. She helped schedule my appointment knowing my water was turned off. American Leak Detection is highly recommended. Much Mahalo!!

Rob from American Leak Detection did an outstanding job locating our problem and resolving the issue.  Showed up on time for appointment.  Was respectful and professional. Located the problem which involved cutting concrete and dealing with underground plumbing and sealed the leak. Rob and his crew cleaned up the area like no worker I have ever used, a task often forgotten by contractors. Outstanding service!

I called American Leak Detection to check my pool as I had a leak and they told me the charge just to check it is $425 I said ok and after they told me they did check the pool and found where it was and can fix it while there for another $100 for which  I gave them my approval.  Few days after they left the tenant told me that the pool is still leaking I called them to check again and they gave me another estimate of $360 to fix it, I asked them if this would be under warranty so I won't have to call them back and get another new charge but they said no warranty and it could continue to leak.  I called the office to cancel the second estimate as I did not want to deal with them anymore but immediatel'y the person who spoke to me mentioned that if I don't pay they will send me to collection when I never mentioned anything about not paying.  Very rude and unprofessional.

Rob is the bomb.com! He was the most professional and patient pool rep ever. He was no B.S. either, he found our leak immediately and told us that our pool service may have actually done the damage. He didn't charge us and told us we could call him anytime, but to check with our pool service first, which we did and they fixed the problem. If we ever need anything again, we are calling this company for sure.

First class service from beginning to end. After noticing a doubling of our water bill from January to February we knew we needed help fast. Rob arrived the next day and located an unusual cold water slab leak under our kitchen floor (most slab leaks are on the hot side). He advised on the repair as well as associated costs. The crew showed up within 48 hours and concluded a reroute of the affected pipe through our attic space in under three hours. After the associated drywall repair, completed by Las Vegas Drywall, you could never tell that there had been a problem. Everyone involved was professional and we would not hesitate to recommend  American Leak Detection to anyone unfortunate enough to require such service.

This company evidently doesn't want any new business. I called asking for a quote to repipe my home due to a leak. The lady who answered the phone said that they need to do a $275 inspection to find where the leak is in order to give me the quote. I told her we already know where the link is and have had several estimates, we'd just like the quote for repiping the house. She quite rudely insisted we have to pay the $275 for them to confirm the leak is where we already know it is before they would give us a quote. I'm sorry, I don't flush money down the toilet. Thank you, Next!

Poor customer service and waste of time - no show, no notification.

We had a 4:45pm appointment for leak detection at our home in Vegas scheduled for this past Wednesday. They called me that day to reschedule due to the technician having an emergency and not able to make it so we rescheduled for the next day at the same time when our tenants would be home. I got a call from our tenants Thursday at 5:25pm letting us know that no one had yet arrived. When I called American Leak Detection to find out the status, the rep tried to contact the technician to no avail. She then said I could only reschedule for a time during the hours of 8-4pm or a Saturday with no availability until a week from this Saturday.

Why would they schedule an appointment TWICE for 4:45pm only to be told later (after not showing up for the second appointment and not notifying me) that we can only schedule up until 4pm. We've now lost two days in detecting the leak, potentially causing more damage. Very disappointed. Have now scheduled an appointment with another company that I hope has more integrity.

On 09/06/18, American Leak Detection arraived at my house to find a water leak.   American Leak Detection technician was Edgar S.  He was a very congenial person and was respectful.   His first question to me was Where do yo think the leak is at?.   I told him I'd rather not say and let you find the leak.. The water was turned on to the house and hot water line opened.   After about one hour of Edgar looking for the leak, he marked a spot at the entrance to the downstairs bathroom where he believed the lwater leak was occurring.   He checked the walls too but found no leaks in the walls.   I  felt that he was confused about where the actual water leak was occurring.   I then told him that I believe it is underneath the foyer tile.  I told Edgar that several days before I turned off the water to my house, I felt warm tile at the foyer area.  Edgar began checking that spot and found water to be leaking underneath the concrete floor slab area.  He marked both areas but did not want to mark the initial area in front of the downstairs bathroom;  now,  he wasn't sure about that spot leaking but marked it at my request.
I do Not Recommend  this company for locating water leaks based on my experience.   This is my view and one has to make their own judgment when choosing a leak detection company to find a water leak.  I'm just saying I would not use them again due to my experience..  Make your own judgment based on your Common Sense.
I feel that I paid $250 for someone/technician whoe really did know how to find the wayer leak. Also, Edgar said he would send me a report via my email but that never happened until I called American Leak Detection; about six days after Edgar was at my house.   Also, Edgar wrote the incorrect last name on in the report.   He had my check with my name on it.  This young man, in my opinion,  needs more training on how to detect a water leaks and on how to pay full attention to filling in the correct information on his company's paper work.

Last week, we received the dreaded news that we had a hot water slab leak. It explained why our water, gas and electric bills seemed to be skyrocketing. We called our insurance company and also our home warrantee company and both recommended American Leak Detection. Right here, I will say, if you ever have the dreaded slab leak, look no further. Go right to American Leak Detection and let them do their magic. Rob found the source of the problem, rerouted the plumbing so that the leak was finished and the new plumbing better and stronger - and - he did it all without having to jackhammer or destroy our floors. These people are professionals in the true sense of the word and I cannot say enough about the work they do and the manner in which they kept us in the loop on everything that was being done. In the end, the problem was properly addressed and fixed with a minimum of damage to our walls. Damage, I might add, that was completely repaired without a trace, in a matter of days. American Leak Detection is The Best. They KNOW what they are doing.

Before you call American Leak Detection, go to the curb and see if your meter is running.  That is exactly what occurred to receive a $275 bill.  I insisted that they at least check my irrigation while running at the meter. I thought the $275 would at least cover that.  Then, I thought I had better have the pool inspected.  The fee of under $400 over the phone estimate jumped to $2,200!! Beware

I was referred to American Leak Detection by my sprinkler repair company. Their tech was able to answer my question as to whether or not my water bill was swiftly rising do to an outsider or inside leak. It was the outside main, so I called American to get the location.

The technicians, Rob and Bruce I think, ( I'm terrible with names) were great!! Very friendly and knowledgeable,  they described the necessary repair exactly as my sprinkler company had.  It gave me great piece of mind getting their repair confirmation, allowing me to move forward with confidence.

I easily made my appointment with a very nice young lady who asked for my time preference rather than just assigning me an appointment. All staff members I dealt with were friendly and accommodating.

I highly recommend American Leak Detection to anyone who needs their services.

Requested first appointment in the morning based on schedule it took a few days to get that appointment (which is fine)  Set appt. for Friday morning at approx. 8:00 am.   Called at 8:10 am to confirm and I was confirmed for between 8 and 9.(which was fine).  9:10 I called to find that the tech was a know show an reported he was experiencing heat exhaustion.  Don't understand that if I was the first appt.  I was asked if they can make the appt for Monday.  I already took the morning off from my job and rescheduled my appts.  Told me that they can not be responsible if the tech does show.  (DID NOT SIT WELL)  It would have been nice to get a call at or before 8: so my day would not be screwed up any more than it was.  Not the right way to handle a new customer.  Told me the could have somebody to me by 12: told them never mind and would find a reliable company.

I just had the best experience that I have ever had with a company. American Leak Detection sent this gentlemen by the name of Matua. He was extremely professional and very knowledgeable. He took his time testing all of the pool plumbing. He pointed out that my jandy valve had a small crack in it and is probably going to be due for replacement soon. He was very patient with all my questions and I had a ton! I like to know what is going on. I kind of needed to be a part of the testing process so I could feel at ease and trust the results. He explained what he was doing and why in a very kind manner. Man this guy just made me love your company. I will be shouting far and wide for anyone needing leak detection services that yours is the company to call and bonus if they get Matua. Thank you for sending him. You have got an A+ rock star on your team!

I was told that I had a leak in my water lines from the water district'. I could not find the leak so I called American Leak Detectors.  Their tech came out and identified the leak in my garage. I hired a contractor to fix the leak and after days of digging and breaking up concrete he could not find the leak. we finally tracked the water line from the meter and found the leak in the front yard where the tech never looked. They said they were sorry but all they can do is relocate for the leak. it cost thousands for their mistake and they don't even care. BEWARE this is not a reliable company. Get a second opinion.

So I had a leak that started percolating up through the joints of my driveway. Called out American Leak Detection. They showed up at the appointed time, spent about an hour crawling along the driveway and determined where the leak was supposed to be. Problem is the leak wasn't anywhere near where the tech said it was. Fortunately a friend who is a great contractor came over determined where he thought the water leak was by sight and without the use of the stethoscope and other tools that the leak detection tech brought out. My friend was right.  I know leak detection is not an exact science but the quote I got to fix the leak through them was $1600.00. But because it was not anywhere he thought it was, how much more would the repair cost have been had I gone with them. I'm not saying they are bad or unscrupulous. But had I gone with what they determined how more more would the repair have cost. The cost of their visit to my home was about $245.00.

Through high recommendation I contact Rob Collins to locate my pool leak. He was very helpful and was there every step of the way answering all my questions through my pool leak repair. He came by my house again to make sure everything was corrected and running smoothly. Five stars.

What a joke. We had an appointment today after rescheduling stuff to make their next available time work for us... no one showed up! And hour and a half AFTER they were supposed to come they call to tell us that someone called in and they can't come until NEXT WEEK. I have never dealt with anyone as unprofessional as this... you're not going to show up or even call on time after we arranged everything to line up with the time you told us last week? Then you're going to have us wait a full week more?? Are you kidding me?? We don't have hot water, we waited for the first available appointment and now they just push us back a full week as if we have a minor issue. Such crap.

I called American leak detection when my pool serviceman couldn't figure out why my water levels were fluctuating and water bill was high. They sent out Rob and he is very sharp and fixed it with a float replacement part. It's always good to get a second opinion. He was one of the nicest techs I've ever dealt with and his charge was much lower than the original estimate. If I could give 10 stars I would. My pool serviceman is also Rob of Buckeye Pool Service and recommended American Leak Detection. So glad he did. It' a franchise based in Palm Springs. Fortunately there were no leaks.

We had a leak from our pool. Called American Leak Detectors based on a recommendation from Adam's Pools.
Due to so many good reviews about Rob specifically, we asked for him. So glad we did.
He was very nice and professional. Sealed up two cracks, one in our skimmer housing and one in the auto-fill housing. Was a reasonable fix. We were so happy not to be ripped off, as is so often a worry in this day and age. He was honest and trustworthy.
We highly recommend ALD. If it is a pool leak issue, be sure to ask for Rob.
The office staff were very nice as well.

If you have the misfortune of having a leak DO NOT use this company.  The people in their office are rude, unprofessional and they lie and try to charge for work that they don't do. They supposedly have a guarantee that if they do not find the leak then they do not charge.  Don't fall for this!  Even when they don't find the source of the leak they make up some bogus claim on their leak detection report, forge your signature on their invoice, then try to sue you for the bill.  What a SCAM they're running,  BEWARE!!!

The workers seems sparse and are in a hurry at least with leak detection with my hot tub. They used high pressure air to check for leaks. They did Find a leak behind the spa light. They applied silicon and put the light fixture back in the canister before it could dry. Within a day or two it gave out and the leak was worse. The technician E. Came back and I discussed leaving the light fixture out so the compound could effectively dry. They did not seem to want to stay long or come back to reinstall the light. So I asked them to leave it out of the canister and had someone else reinstall the light. It appears the leak was fixed. However. Many leaks popped up on the pool plumbing after they used the high pressure air. I'm having to have someone else reseal those pipes to get the air out of the system and stop minor leaks. I would recommend them if they have time to provide more than 30 minutes for the $300 leak detection fee and the $125 silicon application. Otherwise use someone else.
