Donnie  from AR- CSC serviced my home A/C . The unit wasn't working with temp stuck @ 87 deg for days last June. He said it must be my thermostat since he thinks everything was working just fine and he left after a few minutes. I paid $125 to American Home Shield and they dispatched AR CSC and he was in and out of my place and took off and warned me that if call him back he may have to charge me more if he doesn't find anything wrong.
  It didn't get too bad  for a short period when Sierra A/C did an inspection of my unit as part of maintenance and found that the compressor was leaking and need to be replaced. s a result , i already had my A/C serviced by Sierra and they charged me almost $1000 and I had to sign up for $16 monthly inspection.  Then around Aug - i had nevada power checked out the thermostat and there's nothing wrong with my thermostat which they had replaced the year before .
   i called AHS and i suggested that they better not send me anyone from AR-CSR , because they won't even bother to investigate and evaluate  a problem any further . They just want their share of the $125 from  AHS.
  AHS sent me Dr Cool and they diagnosed the problem right away and replaced the compressor / condenser part.  They also fixed the leak and adjusted the freon to its right level.
  AHS advised me that they will block AR - CSR  from coming to my place and will evaluate their service.
  In conclusion , AR-CSC is such a rip off and too lazy to diagnose the problem and left within minutes.  I felt like I was scolded for bothering them when there's no problem that they can tell.  Customer service is non-existent. I hope the company train their staff well enough to diagnose a problem. I was very very disappointed to say the least !
 Dr Cool was great, friendly , customer oriented and technically professional and knowledgeable.
  Watch out for top off artist esp when help was needed badly.

If I could give ZERO Stars I would. Please do not waste your time and money.  We only used this Company because they contract with 'American Home Shield' {that is another company you want to avoid at all costs}.  As I write this I am on the telephone for the 5th time in 7 days with A&R Complete Service.  They have been to the house in Reno, NV 3 times in the past 3 days and I STILL do not have a working Furnace.  There are 2 elderly people and a disabled adult living in the home.  It has been 7 days without heat in 30* weather.  We already waited in line for service and yet A & R is telling me they cannot come back out until next Tuesday - Another 4 days ! !  No Heat. Reno NV - 30* Temperatures. The tech that come out the 3rd time told the us that he is 'an apprentice'.  Really ?   A Company who cared at all about their customers would find a Technician to come back out Today and figure out why the previous 3 visits resulted in Nothing !!  I don't understand.  I am reading so many negative reviews about this Company.  Why is American Home Shield contracting with them ?  Why are they still in business ?  Why would anyone paying out of pocket call them ?  Save yourself ALOT of time and money.  Call someone else.

Our heater stopped working so I contacted my HSA insurance agent.  Abel from AR CSC came out on Wednesday.  He needed to order a new motor and came back on Friday to install it.  The service was great and the speed in getting it fixed was really fast. I just now read the other comments but I didn't experience any problems.

They came in to do a home warranty service after waiting 3 plus days and they tell me they can't work on it due to the cage built to keep pigeons away which is in 90 percent of roof units in Vegas. Why didn't they ask me if I had a cage??? They asked me a bunch of questions like if I lived in a gated community ??? Why don't they ask me if I had a cage. BTW my cage is a Big one that you can stand and walk around in. I think this is BS as I had other service done before no issues(not with A & R)

Absolute WORST company, please do not use.  We had a severe leak in our ceiling of our master bedroom and this was the company that our home warranty company sent out.  We waited three days for the plumber to come out and he ended up not even leaving our foyer after we explained what was going on, instead telling us that it was an HVAC leak.  He was in our house for all of a minute.  So the next day the A&R sent out an HVAC person who confirmed that it was an HCAV issue because the glue and primer that held the PVC pipes together had failed, causing one of the PVC pipes to slip out of the elbow joint that was holding it.  A&R; however, reported to our warranty company that the only way this pipe could have come out is by someone PULLING IT OUT MANUALLY, which means the claim wouldn't be covered.  Why on god's green earth would anyone climb into their second story attic, crawl the 10ft over to this joint, when it's over 115F to pull a pipe out and thereby cause their ceiling to collapse and expose their pregnant wife to mold that has now set in?!  We were told by the technician we could pay $400 and he would fix it right now (yes, $400 when all that needs to be done is slap some glue on the pipe and stick it back in the elbow joint) or he will get approval from the warranty company and come back.  Since the claim was denied because the tech told the company that we did this ourselves, the warranty company said that they can have the tech come back out and we would just have to pay the $649 that is now the estimate to have the pipe repaired.

Now I know what you are thinking, just go up there and put the pipe in yourself, totally get it.  Except now we have 3'x5' hole in our ceiling where the water removal company had to remove the damaged drywall, which we now have to pay for out of pocket, as well as whatever it will cost to repair the missing drywall.  Thanks A&R!

From first contact to final fix (all within 5 hour time frame) the service was stellar!  The technician Mike was professional, knowledgeable and quick.  I was concerned as it was an older unit but he had the parts!  I was refered to this great little team and will be referring others.
