Wel-Don Sewer & Drain Service, Heating & Cooling

As a home owner we had used Well-Don Plumbing Service for over a decade and were always pleased. However the last service left us with a damaged porcelain sink. We contacted the owner multiple times by phone, text and even by mail - and was never contacted back to discuss or resolve the issue. As a result, we will never use Well-Don Plumbing Service again. The damage done far outweighed the service we paid for.

We own 27 rental properties so we called on Saturday Nov 24th for 2 different units one being a backed up line the other to replace the washer in the tub faucet. We were told they would be there that afternoon we got a call late Saturday afternoon asking if they could come the next day, which was fine, at noon on Sunday we called to see if they could give us any idea as to time we were told they were not coming due to the blizzard, would have been nice if they had called us but OK Monday still being incumbent weather we called to ask if they could make us an early morning call on Tuesday since we had already waited 3 days we were told sure  no problem.  Tuesday early morning came and went it was mid afternoon before they came. The backed up line went fine however when he did the tub faucet it was not done correctly as on Thursday at 5:30am I got a call from the tenant the handle had came off and water was spraying everywhere. We called them at that time and was told it would be 3 to 4 hours before they could get anyone out there, therefore we went and fixed it ourselves. We called to inquire about compensation on the charges and they told they would have the owner give us a call. 2days later he called and told us he would check with the guy who did the job and get back with us. We have waited we have called back we have waited and upon calling this morning I was told I have told the owner that is all I can do. Therefore I'm posting this review to save you the headaches we have had with them.

We had hired Wel-Don in the past and they did a great job, the gentlemen were very nice and had wonderful service.  The second time we hired them, they charged more and did less work.  The men that came over this time, different guys than the first time, wanted to get out of our house as quick as possible due to a movie they kept on mentioning they had tickets for. We had one plumbing issue with our kitchen sink leaking and one of the guys looked under the sink, saying it looked fine with not doing anything else.  We also had them fix our backyard faucet that was leaking and they did that great.  We also had a leaking bathtub issue and it was fixed with different parts than we wanted, since we wanted to stay with the brushed nickel theme in the entire bathroom.  They only had chrome and replaced the parts with the chrome pieces for the bathtub, saying they will be back to install the brushed nickel pieces instead.  We wanted our original bathtub parts back since they cost over $200.  They said they would let us keep them, but sadly they took them with them.  We called to inform them about our parts with wanting them back and to reschedule the swap out of the parts for brush nickel.  They said this would be fine since they still had our parts, so we scheduled an appointment to have them drop off the bathtub parts and to replace the current bathtub parts with brushed nickel pieces instead.  They never showed up for the appointment and never called to reschedule.  This occurred multiple times with my husband calling, scheduling and then they would not show and not call back.  Eventually, our calls stopped being answered.  So after two months of trying to reschedule, because we were hopeful that they were decent people, they never came out again and stole our parts.   Our kitchen sink still leaked after they left and we informed them of this as well.  After all of this, we still had a plumbing issue, a company stole our bathtub plumbing parts, and we did not receive customer service.  I will never recommend Wel-Don to anyone or ever use their services again.  I did not appreciate the lack of care and dishonesty this company showed to us.
