Hey these folks are great.  Curteous and responsive in the phone, got me an appointment, and the guy who showed uo was clean, curteous, intelligent and a good guy.  Did a good job clearing out the line. When it overflowed again, he came out the next day and used a video cam to inspect the pipes, and found they were completely gone in a few spots. Not his fault, he provided the correct answer and apologized for the bad news. No charge for the second day. Now saving my pennies for the rework of that very old line.
They are a great outfit.

Doug came to the house and fixed our main line that was backing up.  Another plumber had come out previously, told us it was a city problem and didn't even try to clear the line in the house.  Doug found this issue in the main line, and made sure we were clear all the way out to the street.  He was professional, courteous, cleaned up after and double checked all his work.  Morgan Miller gave a $45 discount for this first time customer and i couldn't be happier.

I know they already have great reviews here, but I have to add another one! Our water heater died, we needed a new one... yada yada yada. We called around a little but liked the reviews for this company and went for it based on what sounded like a fair deal and straightforward pricing.
Of course, this happened to our family during Snowpocalypse 2013! But here's the deal- they showed up! Early! They got it done quickly, efficiently, and without even once attempting to sell me a bunch of extra crap I didn't need. And here's the thing that tops it all: the guy shoveled my driveway, my sidewalk, and my steps. HE DID. I could not believe it... he could have cleared a little path for them to roll the heater into the house, but he went the extra mile! He also replaced a little valve for our fridge at no extra charge.
Highly recommend... it's nice to find good companies with good people!

I called them for an estimate.  It cost $50 for the estimate and I was ok with that because they would put that money toward the cost of the project.  But after the estimate was done I never heard back from them.

After 3 weeks I called and asked about my estimate.  They emailed me the estimate and their cost was more than twice the amount of the free estimate I recieved.

I wondered if they just make money walking into places charging for overpriced estimates?

Very disappointed in this company. Took 3 days to schedule an appointment. They misdiagnosed the problem when they did the repair and they didn't stand behind the work. When I questioned the manager about their mixup, he was rude and was tried to claim it was my fault.

We had been noticing a sewer smell in our home off and on for quite some time. I was pleased that the woman who took my call seemed genuinely concerned AND knowledgeable. She asked me if we had checked the basics, dry drains, wax seals, etc. She agreed that we would most likely need a smoke test to determine where the leak was coming from. Joe and Siad were prompt in their arrival and gave me a half hour heads up. They were very courteous and quickly identified our issue. They gave my husband and I repair options and were quick to get started replacing necessary plumbing the same day.  Morgan Miller Plumbing was the third plumber we had come try to figure out the reason for the smell - they were the the only plumbers to diagnose and fix the problem (a section of damaged ABS). I can't complement Joe and Siad enough for their professionalism and excellent work - no more sewer smell! I will definitely be calling Morgan Miller for any future plumbing needs. We highly recommend them.

My boyfriend and I were having problems with our kitchen sink that went from backing up to leaking. I checked Yelp for plumbers and chose MMP based on the consistent 5-star reviews (sorry to give you the first 4-star).

We found them to be friendly, prompt, straight-forward and their pricing pretty fair. They came out and determined our problem to be much worse than we had hoped. We were able to get a quote from them, relatively quickly. (They sent a project manager out a couple days later to reassess the situation before giving us the quote.)

When we scheduled the demolition they were, again, prompt and friendly. While originally they said it would be done in a day, they had to stretch it to two days. Still for the amount of work they were doing that seemed understandable.

It is this second day that gives them the 4 star rating. These folks are excellent plumbers! Just not so great on concrete work. We are happy with everything they did except how they poured the concrete. It just seems rough and not quite as good of work as we were hoping.

Still, we're happy overall and will be repeat customers (hopefully not too soon though!)

Nice and polite repairman ( I had 3 different people come). We had a leak in the line to the ice maker on our fridge. The 1st repairman said it was a old filter that the guys who installed the fridge a year ago should have removed.  So he removed it from the copper line and the cost was $145 which I thought OK.  A few days later we realize the wet carpet is not getting better -So I call on a Saturday and the 2nd guy comes out and says it's a new leak on the shut off valve one inch below where the 1st guy took out the filter. He said he would not charge me labor but would have a after hours charge to pick up a part but he had a plastic line he would put on. I said we would wait till Monday.
Now the 3rd man comes out and replaces the copper line with a metal mesh one he says is better than the plastic or copper.
My opinion is This repair should not have had 3 visits and $205 to fix.

Joe Rodriguez of Morgan Miller Plumbing visited our home today to find and repair a leak in a toilet.  The man is knowledgeable, experienced, and friendly.  a $40 off first time customer discount crimped the good experience. This company definitely deserves a call when you have a need for a plumber!

Did the work, took an extraordinary amount of time. Sent a kid who couldn't recognize the pipe type under the kitchen sink (wth?) and he spent a solid hour on the phone with his supplier trying to get help. Charged us almost $500 for a leak! Never again!! Calls Mills plumbing in Garden City, Mo instead. They're awesome!

Everything went very well from the person who answered the phone very quickly and pleasantly and who immediately scheduled us for a 2-hr window on exactly the day I wanted.

Harley called first and showed up on time. He was pleasant and knowledgeable and got the job done and more on his first visit. The price was more than reasonable. I would recommend Morgan-Miller Plumbing to anyone and everyone.

We have an older home in Prairie Village, KS.... so, with an older home, comes older cast iron pipes. We had a pipe rot through that drained our kitchen sink, dishwasher and washer. My brother and I tried to snake it but to no avail! I read reviews on Yelp about the great work Morgan Miller had done and gave them a call. They had a plumber out to our house in an hour and got a quick quote on what it would cost to replace our pipe. A dug out floor, 7 feet of replacement pipe and a filled in concrete gap in our basement later and we have a fully functional house again! The Morgan Miller plumbers were friendly, cleaned up their mess and had us fixed in a day. I would definitely recommend them to anyone out there. Most importantly, they gave me a follow up call to see if everything was working as planned and if I had any questions or concerns. A+!

We had our basement floor drain stop during a terrible thunderstorm, and the trickles of water coming in our old limestone wall soon flooded the basement floor. Morgan Miller Plumbing sent a repairman out at about midnight--we knew the charges would be higher--and within a half-hour he had located the problem that had been missed on three separate occasions with our usual plumbing company. (The old P trap between the floor drain and sanitary sewer trap was full of silt.) He then monitored the drain until all the water had gone down. He was friendly, polite, and thorough, checking a few other things before he left. It was well worth the money to be able to sleep that night without wondering if Noah would show up with his ark. I will hire them again when needed.

If you are looking for an HONEST, RELIABLE plumber in the Kansas City area, call Morgan Miller Plumbing.  I had quotes from AB May and Bob Hamilton who tried to charge me $10,000-$15,000 to replace my sewer line.  What I learned was that they work on commission!!!  My sewer line only needed to have the roots removed. It did not need to be replaced.   Joe from Morgan Miller did a great job and only charged me $500.  I am so grateful to this company for their honesty and integrity.

Morgan Miller Plumbing was highly reccomended to us by a friend.  We have had them out to our home in Praire Village three times.  They are always proffesional and courteous.  Their plumbers are helpful and keep the homeowner abreast of the situation at hand.  They offer explainations and helpful tips to avoid issues in the future.  Above all, they get the job done right.  Also, we always recieve hand written cards thanking us for our business.  I know that doesn't have anything to do with plumbing, but it does say something about customer service.

They were at our house almost immediately and prevented damage from occurring do to a clogged drain.

Employees were courteous and explained everything. Prices were fair.

Had a clog I couldn't auger myself so had to call someone, new to the area so I checked yelp, and these guys had the most reviews with the highest ratings. They were quick professional and Alex was an all around nice guy. Job was done in less than an hour, they quoted me between 8am and 10am and he was there right at 8.
No complaints whatsoever.

I live in Waldo and called Morgan Miller back in May based on these reviews.  Great service and reasonable, and the garbage disposal I had installed has been running great.  I will use them again.

I called with a stopped up toilet, and the Morgan Miller Plumbing co sent Nick over within 15 minutes. I had spent the weekend using a toilet snake, drano, and two different plungers, and he magically plunged the toilet twice and it was fixed. He told me it happened all the time, that people don't quite know how to plunge a toilet. $105 but worth it for the quick, no tricks service.

Our pipes froze during the polar vortex and they were able to get someone out the same day. The technician told me that our pipes were PVC so that limited our options. He gave me some tips for helping defrost it myself (space heaters, turn the heaters up, etc) and then here's the kicker...HE DIDN'T CHARGE ME FOR THE SERVICE CALL. He could have totally spent a few hours making up things that he'd tried to fix it and I totally would have believed him.

It was awesome and showed me that this was a company I could trust. I'm not saying they won't charge you, but it shows that they are honest. Next time I have a plumbing problem, I will be sure to give them another call.

PS the receptionist was super friendly as well.

Excellent excellent excellent!!! I cannot emphasize enough how amazing this company is! I started a DIY toilet install in my home which was built in the 40s. I ended up pulling up the old toilets to extremely bad flanges that could not be reused. Needless to say, I didn't know what the heck I was doing. I got myself into a very big pickle, and thought I dug myself into a very expensive plumbing remodel hole. I contacted this company and they were out first thing Monday morning. Alex was very professional and straightforward with what he had to do. 4 hours later, I had two new toilets installed! No new plumbing or unnecessary adjustments needed to be made to my existing plumbing. Thank you thank you thank you!!! I would totally recommend this company to anyone looking for a plumbing job! YOU GUYS SAVED ME HUNDREDS!!

I can't say enough good things about Morgan Miller Plumbing!  The drain in our bathtub stopped working Monday afternoon (Labor Day). We contacted Morgan Miller on Tuesday and they sent Doug out in the afternoon.  Every time Doug came in the house, he wore his booties. Every time he went outside to his van, he took them off.  I have had other service personnel track mud throughout my house, so this sign of respect ranks high for me.

Doug was very patient as I asked him questions and he was thorough in analyzing the situation. I could tell that he wanted to be certain that he treated the root cause of the problem. Throughout his time fixing the problem, he gave me some helpful tips on preventing water leakage, etc.

Within 2 hours, the problem was resolved!  Doug even sprayed some cleaning agent on the hardware in the bathtub, which I spotted right away.  It's hard to keep chrome looking sharp and clean!  What a nice touch!

Lastly, I want to mention that the pricing was very fair.  It is definitely a plus to receive a $45 discount since it was our first visit, but I feel that it was very reasonable.

I highly recommend Morgan Miller Plumbing to everyone I know.  I will definitely call on them again...just hope it's not for awhile. :)

its the day before thanksgiving.  my whole family is coming over tomorrow.  my mainline is clogged and its 7pm.  these guys came right over.  gave me clear prices over the phone and than gave me a first time customer discount.  did a great job.  didnt try to string out the clock.  just cleaned the pipe and left as promised.  very pro.

I had a plumbing/faucet issue that required us to shut the water to our house off. Morgan Miller Plumbing had come highly rated from a family member and I gave them a call. They were able to quickly come out - even during a hectic, busy season with lots of homes experiencing frozen pipes. I got a text before the plumber came with the name of the employee who would be coming which was nice. Don showed up on time and patiently explained what he discovered was the issue to my husband who was out of town and on speaker phone. Don was able to fix the issue , and ensured that our major faucet (kitchen) was working before he left , even though this wasn't the faucet that had been repaired.
On top of a great job with fair prices , Don was polite, funny and helped ensured all baby gates were closed when going from upstairs/ downstairs several time to keep my toddler safe.
It was our first time using Morgan Miller plumbing, but they will be my first choice for future plumbing needs !

Booked solid and would not come out to fix a pipe so I can turn my water back on in my home... There is always time to fix a small pipe... shameful... to busy, is sometimes and in my case a bad thing...

I turned to Yelp to help me find a plumber when I noticed a small waterfall spilling into my basement. I needed a plumber and the Yelpers pointed me to Morgan Miller. I am so glad I made the call, because these guys really are great. They're very professional, courteous and just plain nice, starting with the woman answering the phones in the office, to the gents coming out to do the work. Bob came out and bid the job (which was a pretty big one), and later Joe came out did a fantastic job installing a new draining system, replacing all the 91 year-old original plumbing. Not an easy job, but he made it look effortless. I even got a thank you card in the mail and a follow-up call a few days later making sure everything was still in working order and that I was satisfied. Truly great service!

Morgan Miller Plumbing and one of its plumbers James, are outstanding. They have done several projects at our house and we have been very pleased. The fee is reasonable, and the service is always first rate. And the repairs are always correct.

I had a clogged drain more than 25 feet down and below the concrete flooring in my stone basement. MM Plumbing sent out Big Mike, who arrived on time, was professional and did a great job. I asked him to show me how to use the professional, 50-foot auger he leveraged to relieve the clogged pipes. He showed me every detail. When we went to the basement, he showed me where the pipes were (approximately) under the concrete, how they connected and where clogs surface. It was a great experience and I am confident that I will be able to rent a big auger next time and do the job myself. I can't say enough good things about Big Mike.

The prices were average, not outstanding, otherwise this would be a 5-star review.

I normally do not post reviews unless the service is incredibly poor or absolutely exceptional. I have used Morgan Miller in the past and will continue to do so as they check the exceptional box. I had a backed up drain line (thought the water heater had a crack so it shows you what I know) and Cody, Desi and Steve quickly came out, diagnosed the issue and got to work hydro jetting our main line. They encountered multiple root blockages over 110' of line, some of which would not budge. After multiple attempts to break up the largest obstruction, I thought a positive outcome was grim but Cody, Desi and Steve gave it one more shot and pulled out all their tricks and finally broke thru right before the city main line. Couldn't be happier with the level of service, persistency to solve the problem and professionalism of these guys. You are making the wrong choice going elsewhere for your plumbing needs. Morgan Miller has a customer for life! Thanks to you all!

We've used Morgan Miller for years and service has always been top notch and professional. Recently we had some work done and after, I had to do a little DYI and found some issues. I went and talked to the owner to let him know this wasn't on par with previous work. He sent out the shop manager and another tech. They finished the work and it was done as they have usually done, excellent. They did not charge for fixing the mistake, which I know mistakes happen. To me, that went above and beyond. Defiantly will use them again, I hope I don't have too, but I know my limits on plumbing and would rather have things done right and be assured it will be done right.

Very reliable, trustworthy, and friendly service.  Came right away and fixed my grandmother's clogged drain that was pouring down in the basement.  Affordable too!

First time using this company after seeing a review on Nextdoor!  This experience was wonderful, from the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, promptness of appoint time, and the great technician that unclogged an outside drain quickly.  Unlike other companies, I was not told about additional unnecessary repairs to consider!  The fee was also affordable and this will be a new go to company for plumbing needs at our rental properties and our personal home!

I made the mistake of going with a different plumbing company first. The other company was unable to clear the blockage in my pipes, and it actually got worse after they left.

Morgan Miller arrived, cleared the blockage on the first day, and then returned to do a high powered flush of my main drain. No more problem with back-ups, no more flooding in my hall from the drain not clearing.

Highly recommend hiring this company for your plumbing needs.

These guys were great. They were prompt and courteous and explained everything they were doing and why they were doing it. They made every effort to not make a mess in my home and were able to get the job done in a reasonable amount of time. The only complaint I would say that I have is that I was quoted a $45 discount on my bill for being a new customer but I did not see that on my invoice. Other than that, great people and a great company!

I have used Morgan Miller for both big issues and simple repairs. They are professional, reliable, friendly, trustworthy and get the job done the first time. They are careful to respect your home, clean up any mess and explain what is needed in simple terms. Their customer service is unreal-- like the Nordstrom of plumbing. Can't say enough positive things about Morgan Miller. Highly recommend.

I think Curtis did a great job fixing and explaining what he thought the problem was. Small things like putting on booties shows the company things about customer service.

These guys ROCK! We discovered our main sewer line was blocked only because our basement flooded! TODAY! On a Sunday! So I'm scrambling to find a plumber and discovered Yelp has this fantastic feature where you can request quotes from plumbing companies in your area. You answer some questions and then shoot it off to several companies. It's amazing! I shot this message out to them all at 12:44 pm today (Sunday). Stella, from Morgan Miller, messaged me back only 24 minutes later (1:08 pm) after I sent out my S.O.S. for quotes on Yelp to hers and others companies. The guy, from Morgan Miller, came out to our house within less than two hours. It took him less than ONE hour to clean out our line and fix the issue! THAT IS IT! Now? It is 4:50 pm and life is back to normal. The gentleman technician has been gone for quite a while, we finished cleaning (after he left) awhile ago ourselves, and are ready to start cooking dinner. If that isn't customer service, I don't know what is.

I have used Morgan Miller several times.  Both for small jobs and for big jobs.  Most recently I called them for a leak inside a wall.  I was expecting a whopper of a repair bill.  They came out in less than a hour after I called them and the bill was much less than I expected.  Their service is very consistent.  Each time I have use them, there were no surprises (unless you count surprisingly good service)  I could not recommend them more highly.

I had a leaky bathroom sink faucet that I tried replacing the cartridge on myself but obviously did not do right because the faucet was turning off and on the wrong way. I decide to bite the bullet and call a plumber and decide to try this company. The technician came out and fiddled with it for about a half hour and then told me that I had gotten the wrong cartridge. He told me he did not have the part on his truck. I asked him if it could be ordered. He said that at their $129 hourly fee it would be cheaper probably to just replace the whole faucet. I asked him how much that would cost. He said $430. The faucet itself would be $230. Wow that's an expensive faucet. I could buy a way cheaper faucet at Lowe's or Home Depot! I asked him how much it would cost for me to just skip the whole thing and let him leave. He said $199. I decided after all to go ahead and spend the extra $230 to have the whole faucet replaced instead of spending $199 just to have nothing done. Well, after 3 and a half hours and $545 later he was finally done. Way to expensive and very slow. I will not use this company again. I think the plumbing business is money suckers and way too overrated.

I went with this place as the reviews looked great.  Was I ever fooled!  This place is out to rip you off!  We had a clogged bathtub that we couldn't get unclogged.  They sent a guy out charging us $125 up front.  The guy was here for an hour and stated that he did everything he could - ran multiple lines and tried so hard that he supposedly snapped one.  The only thing I saw was the bill and a giant mess in my bathroom.  Morgan Miller told us that because they couldn't diagnose what was wrong, they would have to put a hole in our plaster kitchen ceiling, which could ruin the whole ceiling and cost us up to $1200.  And that doesn't include fixing the giant  hole since they don't do that!  And to think, I almost did this!  Thankfully I had a friend that recommended Mr. Plumber.  I called Mr. Plumber out for a second opinion and they fixed the clog within 5 minutes plus stopped my sink from leaking and cleaned my bathroom spotless!  And it only cost us $94!  They were only here for an hour because they spent so much time cleaning up after Morgan Miller!  They were concerned that Morgan Miller's lines may have punctured a hole in our old lead pipes and thought it was common sense that you would never run a line with these kind of pipes as they are very sensitive and can puncture easily.  Thank goodness for kind companies like Mr. Plumber for making our lives good again as we were getting so sick and tired of showering at the gym while we tried to weigh the pros and cons of the financial burden Morgan Miller was going to put on us.  NEVER AGAIN would I ever consider using Morgan Miller.

I had trouble with a brand new kitchen faucet I had installed and not knowing if the problem was the installation of my water pipes, I decided to call a plumber.  After reading the reviews on Yelp I decided on Morgan Miller.   Am I glad I did.   Their high rating is well deserved.  It took 3 visits (and buying a different type of faucet) to fix the problem, but each visit was necessary and not caused by faulty work on the part of Jason, who did our work all three times.  I had installed the first correctly, but the product itself was faulty (from a company I've used and trusted for years.)  Everything Jason did was prompt and cost-effective.  No hidden fees or charges for work they didn't do.  And discounts on two of the visits, to boot.  Customer service is excellent.  Courteous, clean, efficient and very reasonable.  Who could ask for more?  Morgan Miller is my plumber from now on.

We were getting quotes for finishing a basement bathroom. After reaching out they were able to quickly get someone to come out to look at the work... for a fee. We paid the $50, the guy came out, took pictures, took notes and then said we would get a quote in a week. Approximately a week later I received another call from MM asking to send another tech out. Reluctantly I agreed to modify our schedules and be home for someone to come. This tech seemed more knowledgeable and implied the other guy was new. Once again we were told we would receive a quote in a week. Four weeks into trying to get a quote, two appointments, and two weeks after the second appointment, no quote and out $50. Will not be booking. Guess our work isn't worth it.

Update: After seeing this review MM reached out. the receptionist stated that they had called Monday. I have no missed calls or voicemails, but on a cell phone I suppose it's possible. The receptionist was very polite.

On February 21st, I hired Morgan Miller plumbing to help me with sewer system was clogged, they come the next day and solve the issue but they didn't offer any warranty, the guy and his helper were really polite.

But they left some hygienic products, heces and dirty toilet tissue that come from the sewer just outside of the front yard, where the main sewer is located, this is a big NO. I had to cleaned the area after they left...

The pros:

-they come really fast, next day service.

-they solve the problem

-they work on a cold weather

The cons:

- high price

- no warranty for the service at all

- They left the area that surround the sewer with heces, dirty toilet tissue and hygiene products.  This a big health risk.

Just be aware if you want to hire the services of this company.

Update:

Well we just bought the house less than six months ago, we don't know if the previous owner abuse the line, but is unacceptable they left the residues of the cleaning on the front yard.

A bad water pressure valve was doing crazy things to the pipes when even a simple faucet was turned on - shaking, rattling and making horrible noises that could wake the dead.  The sound was so bad, you could hear it in every part of the house, day or night.  I can't imagine what it was doing to the pipes.

I called an unnamed licensed plumber who said he would come to the house in two days.  He didn't show up or call.  I left him a phone message, but it was a text message that prompted him to write back with a short apology.  

I jumped on Yelp and read the reviews for Morgan Miller Plumbing, which were really good.  I've also seen their commercials on TV. The one review that stood out was from Erin V., who Morgan Miller helped during the big snow storm.  I had to work during that blizzard and remember how bad the conditions were.  

So I called Morgan Miller late this morning and the dispatcher said Doug was already in the area working and he could swing by between 2-4.  Doug called later that afternoon and said he was on his way.

Absolute professionals! I called they were on time the pricing was correct. I was a new customer and they gave me a discount for that. No jacking around did the job, friendly and gave good advice. I will never use another plumber. I used them because of the excellent reviews on yelp. Give them a try you won't be sorry.

I contacted Morgan Miller when a pipe was clogged in our rental property, resulting in a lower bathroom flooding when we took a shower upstairs. I have no plumbing knowledge, but was fairly certain it was a clog, since the problem started very suddenly (i.e. my husband and daughter had showers earlier in the morning without incident, I had a shower 3 hours later and caused the great flood). I chose Morgan Miller specifically because it had so many five star reviews on Yelp. Perplexing...
My technician arrived and was very pleasant. However, he seemed completely confused about what the problem could be. Even after I told him how suddenly the problem started, and how my husband was pretty sure he caused a clog. He flushed the downstairs toilet a few times, then went to the basement.
In the basement, he discovered that some of the fittings were installed incorrectly, meaning the water wasn't flowing in the proper direction when it drained. Clearly an issue that had been there for awhile, and unlikely to be the cause of our immediate problem. However, because of the fittings, he said he couldn't snake the drain. No options at all? I asked. Nope, nothing could be done. He suggested just flushing lots of water through the downstairs sink (which failed miserably and caused more flooding). So, I'm out $85 and still can't use the toilets, showers or sinks.
Before he left, my husband asked him whether repairing the fittings was a thousand dollar job or less serious. We were told it would probably be around $300.
I passed that info on to the owners, who told us they'd heard about the bad fittings before, and we should go ahead and have it fixed. Great! I called and asked for a written estimate...waited three days to get it (finally arrived on a Friday)...and it came in at a whopping $750! More than twice his unofficial guestimate in my kitchen.
Needless to say, I looked like an idiot when I went back to tell the owners.
At my wit's end on Saturday morning (we're still having to go elsewhere to shower, do laundry, etc.) I called A-1 Sewer and Septic. No extra charge for a Saturday trip. They arrived that afternoon and cleared our drain. The technician could tell it was a clog, went in through a main line where the drain left the house, snaked it and solved our problem. It was a gross and messy job, which is probably why the Morgan Miller tech just wanted to snake through a sink drain or toilet. But, for less than $150, A-1 rescued our plumbing! I wish I'd called them first. Can't believe I wasted $85 by calling a plumber that was afraid to get dirty.

They came on a Sunday afternoon, finished the job quickly, and did a better job than the guy that came 10 months ago. We will definitely use them again.

I had a clogged kitchen sink and called them on a Saturday morning, they had a technician over within a few hours and he did a great job. Friendly and very clean. Did a credit card payment on the spot. Would recommend to anyone.

Ok people please read this before hiring a plumbing company. I recommend Morgan Miller Plumbers for various reasons. First, they are punctual. Second, they are fair with their pricing compared to others. Third, they are multi licensed and versatile. Four, their quotes are dead on with explanation given on all points. Fifth, they are patient which in my case made everything so much easier. Sixth and final, the techs are all knowledgeable, clean and very polite. Human interaction just can't be trained always so genuine individuals are at your disposal.
  My situation was very frustrating because I was dealing with city water Dept in the name of getting my internal water line to our meter fixed. Originally Morgan Miller staff said they could handle everything and they could have had the city not have to replace our curbside shutoff valve. When the city finally got there stuff done Morgan Miller took over with ease.
  The biggest part of this whole scenario is the city was very untimely but MM Plumbing continued to check in on us to see if progress had been made so they could do their job. They eventually took much longer than originally planned but the bill remained the same as the quote. These guys will put other companies out of business eventually just on the principle of honesty and solid performance.

I called in a panic because I had a leak under the sink and I only have one large sink so I was pretty well stuck with having water all over the place. The plumber, Joe, got here on an emergency call within an hour and had everything back up and running within two hours. Perfect solution and great professional service for a reasonable price. My husband said, Now we have a plumber and that's a huge compliment!

Awesome! Simply what everyone wants in plumbers and plumbing repairs. Reasonable pricing, excellent and efficient work, plus they start the day early so I didn't have to wait. Alex verified and tested his repair, didn't tell me I needed more work, and cleaned up afterwards. They are now my go to plumbers.

I hired Morgan Miller this past April to fix a couple of things in my master bath. The sink, which wouldn't drain, was fixed immediately. But the shower ended up causing more work/damage because of the quick fix approach that my plumber took (for which I paid $356). The faucet valve to turn the shower on wouldn't stay up, and so water would come out of both the shower head and the tub faucet at the same time. I figured that he could just replace the tub faucet, but he told me that he could not replace it to match the rest of the fixtures (Which turned out not to be true). Instead, he ended up putting in the wrong-sized O-ring, which soon thereafter caused water to back up in the pipe and then leak into the wall and into the downstairs apartment. I just had a plumber from another company out this past week, who fixed it for $700 (a new, matching tub faucet) and five hours' worth of labor. I won't hire anyone from this company again.

Had an issue with an outside hose bib, that was leaking water into my basement.  They came out, assessed the issue, and fixed it the same day.  Very reasonable pricing.  I will definitely be using them again

Had contacted Anthony Plumbing, Heating and Cooling for a quote to replace a washer outlet line and they quoted the price of $1563 and said it would take all day.  I have a construction background and thought the amount was very overpriced.  I contacted Morgan Miller Plumbing and they said they do these all the time and was not a big deal and quoted the price for $475.00.  They arrived with a 2 man crew and 2.5 hours later the work was done.  A GREAT JOB AT A FAIR REASONALBE PRICE!,  you can't ask for more than that.

I called Morgan Miller around 2:30 on a Friday afternoon, and they had a plumber at my house within the hour.  He unclogged our main drain and saved the day!  We greatly appreciated the prompt and thorough service. I will recommend Morgan Miller to anyone who needs a plumber.

Cody was here in 2 hours and fixed the problem.  Very reasonable and professional.   Gave me enough notice to get home from work to meet them. Will call them again!

These guys were fantastic. After being left in the lurch (and with a few inches of putrid standing water in our basement) by another company who quoted us almost $4k to fix our problem, we called Morgan Miller. We only live a couple of miles from their office, and had a plumber at our door in ten minutes, tops.

Joe and Justin, the two gentlemen who helped us, couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. They explained everything they did as they were doing it, and managed to fix our problem in less than 45 minutes for $185. Yep, $185 to fix a problem that could have cost us $4k. I was personally entirely prepared to worship these men as gods by the time everything was said and done. We cannot thank or recommend them enough!

Just an update to the response to my earlier review because I'm just now seeing this (although its from 9 years ago). For the record, I didn't keep using the service. That's not even remotely true and you know that. I quit after the botched job that included destroying a kitchen cabinet before recognizing he needed to work on the other side of the wall (something I told him since I have an engineering degree). I told you why I was quitting after being a customer for years. You didn't follow up.

(btw - why would you send unsupervised inexperienced people to anyone's home?)

I hope things are better. It's been years. Working with Steve was amazing and I cried when he retired. I work with another plumbing company now. And my condolences on the loss of your brother Gene.

I'm a small-time out of state landlord who owns a few SFR homes in KCMO. Sadly this company works with several property management companies that I use. As a result, I'm not there to verify their work or trust -worthiness. I found out these plumbers are poorly lacking in both. They have significantly overcharged me in the past as well as lied about needing to replace big ticket items they said were defective but were not (sump pump). I had second opinions follow up their assessment and they cringed at what MM plumbing told me. Fool me once...

This company is the best. Joe is great. Professional, fast, honest and funny. A single girls best friend!  I would recommending them to anyone.

I recently had some leaking bathroom shut off valves, p trap drains and supply lines.  Most plumbers said they quoted by the job not by the  hour. and when asked confirmed their technicians got a commission. Since I has several items to address the ala carte billing estimates seemed quite high and I was concerned they would try and sell me things I didn't really need.   Based on Yelp reviews I tried this company.   They charged a trip fee and $149 per hour.  They also don't pay their techs a commission to  encourage sales.   In 2 hours Alex changed 4 valves,  3 lines and stopped the leaks from 4 bathrooms and adjusted a pop up drain.   Great work for an honest price.   I just cancelled my prepaid service with another company.  I have found my new plumber

We have a very old house with two leaks in one bathroom, Alex came at 8am sharp and fixed the problem, has to return with new faucet, but not a problem. He was professional, knowledgeable, timely and respectful. Before he left we showed him another problem we had been having with another bathroom for years, he fixed it in 10 minutes! He is AWESOME! Morgan Miller is now our new plumbing company.

Called Friday night with two leaking seals under the tanks. Alex was there Saturday about 9am and took care of the problems quickly. Only dislike was paying more for Saturday Service. Was told Morgan Miller may be changing that in the future.

Morgan Miller Plumbing saved thanksgiving for me this year. My dishwasher was flooding my kitchen and basement when I woke up this morning. I called Morgan Miller not expecting them to be able to come today. But within a couple hours they were here making a plan of action. I have a very old house so i was worried about what they would find. But they diagnosed, explained, and repaired my issues quickly! And for a very reasonable price! Thank you so much!

Another great experience with Morgan Miller.  They showed up on time fixed the drips and drains and ball parked some upgrades.   They also gave us a $25 discount for donating 5 cans of food.  I can't think of a reason I would ever use another plumber.

Had water heater issues. Called Morgan Miller Plumbing and was greeted by a friendly and courteous person.  My original appointment was from 12-2pm.  They called ahead to see if they could show up earlier.  The plumber was professional, explained the issue and took care of it quickly.  Very satisfied.  Great experience.

Prompt and courteous, got the job done quickly in a professional way. 4 stars instead of 5 due to higher pricing than others. Yet in my case I paided the higher price since they could come out quickly while others would put me on their list.

Morgan Miller just left our home. We called them out on a Sunday because our main line was clogged and overflowing through the pipe our washer dumped out into. Called them at 1p and they were out here within 2 hours. Not only did they fix the problem but the guy also helped us clean up the mess which I did not expect. The weekend price was very fair. I really appreciate them not taking advantage of us and will be recommending them to everyone!
