Best Businesses in Tennessee
Snowstorm 2021 and we had a pipe burst behind our washing machine. One it's extremely stressful and challenging to find a company available for appointments. We called about 10 companies with very little luck in having anyone come out to our home. One of their plumbers was on their way home and offered to come by and take a look. Thankfully this was probably the easiest pipe break in history. It was fixed in about an hour and we had running water. Very professional and worked with a sense of urgency.

One word - FANTASTIC!!! Arlington Comfort is absolutely amazing. One of my units went out and I found myself dealing with various companies who had the worst customer service. I was literally at my wits end when I was referred to Arlington Comfort. I can't begin to tell you how wonderful they were. The best customer service ever. From arriving on time to ensuring no damage was done to my home during the replacement of my unit. Mrs. Yolanda Watkins is AMAZING!!! She is so caring and so positive. Arlington Comfort was simply a breath of fresh air. If I could give them 10 stars, I would. Arlington Comfort is Wonderful!!!

Would not suggest this company to ANYONE in need of help/services for water or plumbing issues. Called about a hot water heater not working and was told a technician would be out in 30-45 minutes. 2 hours & 3 phone calls later, the technician arrives. My fiancé shows him the water heater, he literally looks at it and says, It may be the heating element, ( we obviously already knew that, otherwise we wouldn't have called for help) but if he completes a diagnostic it will cost $300 and to replace the element it would be $350. We declined the services because Home Depot offers brand new hot water heaters for $360 with same day delivery as well as assisting with a third party company to install for you,of course with additional fees. I called the office back and informed the receptionist that I was not made aware that all the technician was gonna do was stare at the hot water tank and to actually help us it would cost $300. The receptionist goes yeah that's pretty much how
It works, but the technician said they had to send him out because the receptionist didn't know how to give us pricing. At this point I'm confused and irritated because of poor communication, waste of time and effort, and unprofessional people. You can take your chances, but me and my fiancé both got the this is a rip off vibe immediately!

We just bought a house that Action Plumbing billed for doing work, taking apart 2 sinks and repairing them and stopping leaks. This was not done, sinks leaked, have caused water damage (within a month) and this company as in the owner who has the paperwork is supposed to be here the last 3 days and has not showed up. SHAME ON THIS COMPANY, all the water damage that has happened will be billed to this company in court if I have to. What happened to honest service providers.

We are renovating our home. New fixtures, new pipes, new valves. Everything leaks! I'm not a plumber but I can do better!

I've used Stewart Plumbing twice now and can't say enough about their customer service, professionalism and honesty. From Veronica who fielded my call to Bernie B, the Service Pro who handled my leak, these folks are just outstanding and I highly recommend this outfit for all of your plumbing needs.

Steve, our salesperson, was sexist right away. He met with me and my husband, and even though I was buying the air conditioner, he would look at my husband and not me, and made a comment to my husband about getting in trouble with the wife if the air was broken. When I asked about price, he would only tell me how much I'd be paying each month for 24 months. I went and got a calculator because he wouldn't' tell me the price straight out. I was shocked at the price, $ 8000 for heat and air for our 1,000 sq.ft house, but it was the middle of august, so I said ok. He signed us up for a home depot credit card for 24 months interest free. 12 months later my bill has a charge for $2,000 in interest. They say I signed up for 12 months interest free, not 24. Home depot credit services refused to help me. I called Conway, they told me to call Home depot. I made them call steve at home on his day off. He said he would straighten it out Tuesday, which is nice, but I will be worrying about this all weekend.

DON'T USE THEM!!! My previous posting of this complaint went away! They were suppose to come yesterday between 1 and 4 to fix my outside water line. They said they'd call 30 minutes before they came. They didn't call or show up. Phone number was disconnected when I called at 3:45. (That's what someone does to keep you from contacting them). Called late tonight they answered the phone told me Homeserve cancelled. All Homeserve had to say is they would look into it. Similar problem I had with the previous company they supposedly set up to do the job. Synder plumbing is in with Homeserve and these other companies to scam customers for monthly insurance premiums. They will be subpoenaed to civil court to testify and pay large fines in my complaint against Homeserve along with another plumbing company. Already hired a lawyer!
Word to the wise!!! DON'T USE THEM!!!I would give them negative stars if they gave you the option!

Have to use Greenway because of American Home Shield (another company I'm about to drop like a bad habit) ...
Called Greenway about the clog, as they are the local contractor that AHS uses for almost everything. They came out ... left a mess ... *but*, they came on time and seemingly fixed the clog. Tech said he hit some roots and cleaned them out and all was well.
THREE DAYS LATER ... and unfortunately, over a weekend, the same problem pops up. Called Greenway again. They came out ... send the *same tech* ... and this same tech hits MORE ROOTS (meaning he didn't do a thorough job the first time), cleared out the clog and left. Problem solved for a second time.
ONE DAY AFTER THE SECOND VISIT ... same problem. Talked to the Customer Service Manager @ Greenway after hours and I genuinely get the feeling from her that they're gonna resolve this and make it right. I get a call from them @ 745AM the next morning (today) and she tells me that they're pretty much done with the problem. They won't warranty their work on this issue (her words, not mine). Then, I'm told the only solution is to let them come out and do $800-$1200 worth of work to install a clean out in our yard. Other than that, they're done. Nothing more they can do.
So ... no camera to determine the shoddiness of the previous work. No new tech to go behind the one that had to take two trips to *not* fix the problem. No new nothing. Just a way for them to come out and make a huge cash grab on the money they lost on less than optimal work.
I understand it's in their best interest to move on and cut bait. However, it's not my fault they choose to do business with a home warranty company.
That being said, if a clean out is what's ultimately needed, I can guarantee you that Greenway will not be doing it for me, as I was less than impressed with their plumbing work on what seems to be a very simple issue.
I will also be dropping AHS, as I am left with hours on the phone ... and $175 worth of work that fixed nothing. From here on out, I will choose my own plumber and break even. The American Home Shield peace of mind is a myth once you actually need them for anything.
So, I'm out $175 at this point to STILL have a main sewer line clog ... and Greenway's answer isn't a different tech ... or a camera ... or an apology ... it's a $800-$1200 service call or nothing.
