We contacted John Dorn Electric because of the other two excellent reviews on Yelp. We are extremely happy with his work and will definitely call him again for all our future electrical matters. He was knowledgeable about a complicated wiring situation, straightforward in his estimates,unfailingly polite (e.g., was patient even as we considered several different heights of our fixtures in the process of hanging each), and gave excellent advice.

One star cuz that's the minimum, second cuz the phone number goes to him... beyond that....zip.  Left 3 messages without reply over a week.  Apparently doesn't need my business.  Moving on.  Good reviews, wish I could have seen it.  (And paid for it).

Disciple Electric has completed 2 important jobs for us now - We added a large voltage hot tub and now a home pool that needed its own electrical outlet.  Extremely thorough, making sure we knew the process with quote beforehand, noting things during, and walking through the work completed after. Things are done properly, safely and professionally. Disciple Electric takes care of setting up codes inspections, etc. All inclusive. Our home looks great and, most importantly, the hot tub and pool area are safe. Having a child, safety is our #1 concern. We will use Disciple Electric again for any future electric needs. HIGHLY recommend.

Our garden lights had been out for quite a while.  We had tried to replace the bulbs and were convinced that the fixtures would need to be replaced.  The guys repaired one fixture and replaced the other bulbs.  Done in less than an hour.  They were very careful to avoid stepping on our plants.  Awesome.  will definitely call them again.

When scheduling the appointment Steve answered my phone call right when I called and was able to give me a ballpark estimate. I was able to schedule right then instead of waiting.

Steve showed up on time and was able to fix my poor attempt at installing dimmers. He made sure it was installed safely, and gave me pointers on the best lightbulbs for my fixtures. The costs were fair and reasonable.

When I purchased my house in 2014, it was without a heat-pump. I requested bids from 5 HVAC contractors and made sure that I was comparing apples to apples, in terms of general equipment specs and the scope of work. All the bids matched, but on two points, one stood out.

All bids were for 13 SEER units of several different manufacturers, but the bid from Ascension Services Company specified a 14 SEER unit. I could not complain because their price was also $500 lower than the lowest of the other bids. I was a little skeptical and contacted ASC.

I spoke with owner Jeremiah Lechert at length, for over a week, regarding HVAC systems and bid. Not only were my questions answered; I learned a few things. I also realized that Jeremiah is a walking encyclopedia of even the most esoteric information about installing and maintaining HVAC systems. Needless to say: ASC got the job.

Jeremiah and his team completed the installation on time and with great attention to the technical details. The system has been running flawlessly (to heat and cool) from day one. I have since brought them back to relocate a floor vent and replace the dryer vent termination outside. I remain pleased.

Jeremiah is amicable and honest almost to a fault. He runs his business with integrity and an efficiency I rarely see in contracting companies. He may sometimes come off as a little gruff on the surface, but think nothing of it. He has more than proven himself to me and I highly recocmmend his company.

My heat went out and I was worried since some lows of 17 were forecast for the near future. I have a tight budget and had been slow in calling anyone - dreading the cost. I am fortunate that I have 2 separate units - upstairs and downstairs. It was the upstairs unit and we had been making it okay in our upstairs bedrooms. Due to a few recommendations, I called Lee Company. The technician quickly told me that both my units were dead - that my downstairs must be warm due to good insulation. He stated that it would take a long time to get the part for the upstairs unit - if it would even be possible to get it. He brought the installer back the next day to give me a quote. Both the technician and the installer confirmed that both units were dead - even though they were standing in a warm room with freezing temps outside. I was told that they had the units in stock (no choice of units was given) and that the price would go up by the first of the month, but they could get them installed before the low temperatures - if I gave them the go ahead. At this point I had not been offered a written quote or any information about the recommended units. I asked for the quote to be emailed. A few minutes after they left I received a quote for almost $16,000 - with a cancellation clause that stated that immediately upon signing I would be responsible for 15% for a cancellation and restocking fee. The dead downstairs unit has continued to keep the area warm. Another technician (obviously not with Lee Co) quickly realized that the upstairs unit needed a part that cost less than $60, He was able to get the part immediately and It took less than 20 minutes for him to install it. I would never have expected this type of scam from Lee Company.

I really like these people but they are impossible to work with. I had a water line on a refrigerator that leaked and got into our floor and pooled in the crawl space. I called Lee Company several times with no call back. I wrote an email with no response. I finally got a hold of an owner who was real nice. He sent a rep and we got a call from a customer service person who was wonderful. I thought problem solved. A rep came out and moved our refrigerator and set up equipment to dry out our floors. Then he disappeared. Now we are weeks later with the refrigerator still in the middle of our kitchen and no call back to repair the floor. I have no idea if they have even been paid by our insurance company. If there is a purgatory we are in it.

This is a bait and switch company!!! Very dishonest and not upfront about their insane 175 an hour that my attorney doesn't even make an hour! Funny the person below said that about this company. These people are showing themselves in multiple cities. We asked what the hourly rate is and how much is a service call and she said there isnt a service call they tell you the problem and how much it will cost...far from the truth..they show up at your door and tell you insane almost 200 hr even to look..needless to say wont ever call these dishonest people again. These practices are actually BBB worthy claims do your research file a complaint with BBB!
Update: Your person who answered your phone line said there is no service fee we come out and quote you. Not right off the bat it is 175 bucks no matter what...quit trying to be sly as hell! Maybe you should go back to the very first point of contact we spoke to my husband called another place before yours and it was a 95 service call plus the fix but they had no openings the next one down was you so we called you where your person gave us incorrect information by stating you do not have a service call fee and you locate the problem and quote it..so my question is how can you quote at my door when you haven't stepped in yet and if you already knew it was 175 an hour why wasnt that stated also I no option of payment I had to write from a checking account i havent used in years and write the check to some off the wall person instead of an actual company. And also I'm not going to call someone if my family has a disease quit using this mess for business leverage be honest up front it goes a mile!

Absolutely the worst electric utility east of the Mississippi. The people are more or less inept. They schedule their work when it's convenient for them rather than their customers. They have more so many outages for minor events than anywhere I've lived.
