Called C&S on Tue afternoon with a non cooling AC unit , they had me fixed up first thing Wed morning. Very professional , prompt and less expensive than anyone i found.

Called Friday with an issue and spoke with Dragos. He said he could come by on Saturday. Saturday morning he texted me to let me know he was on his way. He arrived a short time afterwards. The issue was with my smoke detectors. After looking at it he assured me nothing was wrong with the electrical side and I just needed to change out my detectors. He also gave me some advice on my landscape lighting. He was really nice, informative and on time! Plus he didn't even charge me! I highly recommend Oak Lake Electric!

My husband contacted the owner and he sent out Shannon within a couple of days to do an estimate/he could start same day if we were happy with the quote (which was something we didn't think we could get so quick because we've had issues even getting handymen to come look at our house!) It went REALLY well and service was quick. Shannon has 30+ years experience and was to the point, made minimal holes in the wall/ceiling to move HVAC and electrical box to the opposite side of an existing door we want to have dry walled, and did not make a mess. He offered MULTIPLE times to vacuum the drywall dust but I assured him I could do that. We even had a wifi-connected thermostat that he installed, and he called the manufacturer for us with an issue that arose with connections to the HVAC. Thank you for being so reasonably priced and getting us one step closer to finishing this project! HAPPY HOMEOWNERS!

I can only offer one star because at least someone did answer the phone to take my name and number, however I never received a call back. Apparently installing a whole house standby generator isn't a big enough job for Kirby. And this seems odd to me in that most electricians, and/or hvac companies, jump at a lucrative opportunity such as this. Oh well, moving on!

Our family has had 4 full-house generators installed by LA's Custom Power and Lighting in the last three years. The level of expertise, service and value is superb.  Not only is the team knowledgeable and efficient, they are also warm and courteous gentlemen.  The generators have been a blessing during recent storms, and tornadoes.  Our kids lost power for four days, but were still able to work from home seamlessly.   The family with a new baby and toddler were safe and sound, with no loss of food or precious breast milk.  Such  peace of mind!!  Obviously, we highly recommend this company... and their quality product!

This is a great family owned business! We were introduced to Nova by our pool contractor last year. They did a great job which included a no cost service call to show us how to use the circuit breaker for our outdoor kitchen. So, when our A/C went out this week, we called them when our HVAC company said the problem stemmed from an electrical problem. It turned out to be a more complex problem than their service tech could handle, so the owner, a master electrician, offered to come right over and service it himself. It took him an hour or so to identify and resolve the problem. While he was there, my wife asked if he could hang a light fixture. Without hesitation, he spent another 30 minutes replacing the old fixture. When it was time to settle up, he apologized for our trouble and didn't charge us any more for the 2nd visit or hanging the new fixture. If you need an electrical contractor or service, this is exactly the company you want to use - family owned, professional, personable, fair and honest...

They installed counter lighting, moved outlets, repaired other people's mistakes, installed appliance electrical. Never gave up when it was a challenge. AND they are great guys!!  Love their passion for helping people!!

Repaired a small water leak from the crawl space. Charged $333 ($299 w/mil discount). I'll need to do some research on whether this is a normal charge. Technician was professional. Was seen promptly the day after I called.

SCAM ARTIST!!!!!!!! Rips people off, no license to operate in TN,

On Wednesday, September 23, 2020, this contractor and his wife arrived late to my home to quote a job. I was wearing a mask, however, neither of them was wearing a mask. They walked throughout the house and the grounds with me and around my team of two mothers and one 11-year old daughter. The contractor and his wife told that they would be sending me a quote and that the job could start on Thursday, October 1st, 2020.
Over the next five (5) days, I texted and called multiple times to follow up. I never received the estimate that was promised me. They delayed my job and cost me $$.

I had not heard back at all until I reached out the day before the job was supposed to begin and asked if there was a reason that I should not leave a negative review for the company. The contractor proceeded to text me that his family was sick with Covid-19 and that he did not owe me anything when I questioned if this was true. His response was, I wouldn't lie about that it's my family and I owe u absolutely nothing in shooting straight. My text in return was, You think you don't owe anybody anything, but you do! Let's say what you are saying is true... You NEVER notified me that my team of other people at the house that we are all exposed to your Covid-19. Neither you nor your wife wore a mask on the premises. IF it's not BS, which I still suspect... then you owed each and every one of us... I will be getting tested this week. Don't contact me again... ever.

I am forced to question this contractor's judgment, social responsibility, and integrity. I will never hire this contractor, nor can I recommend this contractor to anyone.
