Ray arrived early (wow!), did the needed work quickly, and got it inspected just as fast - with no problems whatsoever.

Two comments: Ray may charge a few dollars more than some other plumbers, but in the professional trades, I've always believed that you get what you pay for. Being cheap just doesn't pay in the long run.

The other comment is to be VERY wary of any plumber that doesn't list his/her license. By law, a plumber's license type and number must be shown on any sign, listing, or advertisement. If he/she doesn't list it, they're probably not licensed, and you could run into insurance problems if there's ever the need for a claim.

During a recent furnace inspection we were told that our hot water heater needed replacing. Their quote was $3,200 which seemed high to me. Got a second quote from Honest Abe and they were in the same ball park. Got a recommendation to get one more estimate from Danny at Ably Plumbing. He did the job for about half of what the others were quoting. On top of that he was very responsive, arriving when he said he would and following through on everything. He will be our plumber going forward!

I have used them twice now. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an honest hard working plumber. He is genuinely interested in helping and not just making a fast buck. Excellent customer service and their repairs hold up.

They came through for an initial estimate, and then to complete the job.  Punctual, professional, and courteous personnel.  We will definitely be using their services again in the future.  Price was right.

It's nice when someone can renew your feeling of trust in your fellow man.  Justin came to us because I spent $466 to stop a leak in the kitchen and a clog in the bathroom.  The horrible man unclogged the drain and left me with a leak in the bathroom.

Justin, from GreenBox, fixed the problem in the bathroom sink and the other poor workmanship in the kitchen.  The work looks good and everything is clean.  I really appreciate hard working people who care about the quality of their work.  Thanks Justin.  Thanks Green Box for hiring him.

Thor Industries installed a top of the line Rheem Hot Water Heater for me in 2019. A few days ago, I noticed water in my garage, called Troy at Thor. He came out right away, said the water heater was defective. They drained and removed my water heater the next day and installed a brand new one. The installation fee was crazy high (as all things are since the pandemic) & I told Troy I simply could not pay that much. Long story short, Thor installed and completed the job absoutely perfect........and he gave me a discount on the install. THAT IS CLASS !! Please use Thor Industries for any HVAC, plumbing issues. You won't regret it.

I can't say enough good things about my recent experience. I have a small business and had a water heater start to go. They were booked two weeks out, but I basically begged and they managed to come in and disconnect my tank one day and replace it two days later, helping me to avoid a flooding situation. Ryan was terrific, fast, skilled and clean. Great customer service. They're now my go to plumbers!

Not so sure. Went to their online chat system since my phones isn't working, so I can get information from them since it's a 24/7 company. Asked them for an estimate quotation for a clogged toilet, so Heather was very polite & kind, asked me I guess the routine questions --- what's the best contact number to contact me? What's my location if I'm covered in their service  area? And if I'm the home owner? I am not the home owner. I live with my best friend who is the home owner. I wanted to do this for him so he wouldn't be bothered and kind of a surprised I got it fixed so you don't have to worry about it kind of home repair. Just for an estimate I can't get a simple price. Throw me a number. It's a number with $ in the front. Now that's just a simple quotation what now for the job it self. So I doubt it I'm going to use their service any time in the future.

Had my water heater replaced by AJ Michaels recently and was quite satisfied. Transparent, competent, professional, efficient, everything you could hope for in a contractor which made it low stress for me. No issues whatsoever with the installation and the water heater has worked smoothly since. They were also quite helpful in explaining various features of the water heater which was much appreciated. Will definitely use AJ Michaels again in the future.

Had my boiler fail this past weekend and lost my hot water.  White's was at the top of the list for manufacturer recommendations.  Called and left a voicemail,  no response.  Called 5 times Monday,  no answer and still not return call from my message.  Don't hold your breath with these people!

We were pretty happy with our service and we will use them again. They were efficient, competent, and did the work for significantly cheaper than our usual plumber. We had an issue with one of our bathroom tiles not being put back correctly and they came back immediately to fix it. The only downside was that they didn't clean up after themselves and we were left with a bunch of pvc pipe shavings (although in all fairness it was a basement).

My landscapers discovered a plumbing problem in the main line into the house and they wouldn't go further until I fixed it. Manny picked up my call right away and said he had availability today (MLK Day). He arrived a little after his estimated time window (if he had updated me on the delay it would be 5 stars). But once he got here he jumped right in and quickly gave me a fair estimate. He knocked the project out, and went above and beyond to track down a hidden kink in the line we hadn't seen yet. The price was very fair. He was friendly, tidy, & hard working. Would definitely call him back for future projects.

The Blackburn & Davis office initially wouldn't schedule my service, asking me to call back. They then called me 14 times one morning wondering why I wasn't there to let their techs in (it was because we never scheduled the work). Part of the work order was to install a dishwasher. Upon completion it was an inch below the counter, not level, and the kick plate was leaning against the dishwasher with one screw in only one side. I corrected and finished the dishwasher install myself but they refused to refund me for the job. An absolute garbage company. Have *anyone* else do the work.

This review isn't for Abbott Brothers' plumbing services, because I wasn't able to actually get a plumber to my house. I made an online appointment for Friday and immediately got a confirmation that someone would come look at a possible sewer gas leak from 12-2 PM. I waited until 3 PM before calling the company because no one arrived or contacted me. The office didn't provide me with a reason as to why no one showed up or why I wasn't contacted. Instead, they said someone would be in contact with me shortly. I received a text a few hours later asking if Sunday between 9-11 AM worked. I agreed. Unfortunately, 11 AM passed and the same thing happened -- no one showed up or called. Not sure what happened, but 2 no show/no calls is highly unprofessional. If you know you're not coming, have the decency to call so people can make other plans or use another business. Obviously, after two chances, I won't be using Abbott Brothers again.

The only reason I am writing this review is because I reached out to John without getting a response. In September I paid John $175.00 to weatherize my windows, he went around with a caulk gun and put caulk around my windows. Not knowing if that was what weatherization is I paid the man. Fast forward, all my windows still have the same draft coming in that it had the previous year. I texted the numbers I used prior to the so call work being completed, to let him know I still have a draft. No one has tried to respond to my concerns. I will tell everyone do not use Handyman John!!!

Drivers need to be reminded that your company vans are a rolling advertisement.I had one cut me off on I-41 south this morning just south of Capital Drive.Moving far left lane to the middle.After only giving me inches to spare,i moved to the far right lane to away from him,and he did the same move again to get into the right lane in front of me.Past Silver Spring I watched him move back to the middle lane.All of this to pass cars on the right side?Maybe he needs to leave earlier.Unit #71
