Affordable Plumbing, Rooter and Water Heaters, provided great service! We contacted them about a leak in our water heater and Rich gave us AMAZING guidance and service. We had time to search out multiple providers and Rich gave us great recommendations and came over 3-4 times to discuss the options. I will use Rich and Affordable Plumbing for all plumbing needs. I met Rooter Ranger because the City of Scottsdale could not resolve my sewer roach problem, after spraying a horribly infested manhole just outside my house, so the City told me to get a 'smoke test, to reveal openings where the roaches can come in thru plumbing.  

I asked for plumbing quotes for this smoke test and various other plumbing issues i had accumulated being my 1.  water pressure was really low, 2.  my garbage disposal didn't work, and  3. the bathroom drain plugs didn't stay pulled up to keep the roaches from coming through, so i had to put rocks on the plugs.  

Rooter Ranger adjusted my water pressure at the pressure regulator, which was newly installed last year.  They made one sink plug work, the other had a      broken rod.   And they diagnosed the garbage disposal to be all rusted out, and quoted me to remove it and fix the plumbing without a disposal.

They told me camera into the sewer is a lot cheaper, than smoke test, whcih everyone said it won't be effective against roaches that come from the sewer, as the smoke test is only for above ground plumbing.  The roaches are coming from the sewer into the pipes, yes they swim thru the water int he P traps, so many they are.  

Even though Rooter Ranger didn't make any money from their visit to my house, they came and spent a lot of time at my house, one  area Supervisor came to check up on the first guy to arrive, and they spent a lot of time, and resolved some of my issues and pointed me in the right direction for for the remaining issues.  

i felt a sense of accomplishment from their visit, and want to compensate them for their time, by giving them this 5 yelp star, since they only have one other.  He aid they have a lot of reviews about their Phoenix office, but just moved to Scottsdale, so here you to, 5 stars for Scottsdale.

Troy was incredibly responsive, answered my post on Yelp immediately, came out early the next day ready to do the job.  He's skilled and efficient, and his work is impecable.  He explained everything, tried to find ways to repair instead of replace (no luck there, unfortunately), and put everything back in its place when he was finished.  Also, he's a really nice hard working guy. Highly recommend Robinson Plumbing.

I had a hot water leak at 1am on a Saturday.  Bad news!  I call belsito and the my said the earliest they could come was 6.  Ok I understand. I shut the water off and waited and cwaited and called and waited.  They arrived at 8 and fixed the water heater by noon. They guy did good work, but I definite paid a lot for the service.

Then, NINE months later, I get a call from a collections company saying I never paid.  I never received any call or letter since the service.

I was having problems with my water pressure and wanted to have to looked at since I didn't want my houseguests feeling uncomfortable. I called and Kevin arrived within the hour and fixed everything!!! I cannot recommend American plumbing enough!!!!!

I've had these guys out 3 times and have been supremely satisfied after each visit. Not only do they fix your problem, they'll tell you why it happened and give suggestions on preventing it.  Ted came out here most recently and gave me some really good tips on keeping our drains unclogged...now I know more about garbage disposal use than I ever thought was available.  Will definitely call them again.

We moved into our 45 year old house a year ago and knew the major appliances wouldn't last long; little did I know my laundry room would be suddenly flooded with no warning this week. After searching on NextDoor for recommendations for a plumber, I found a review of Phoenix plumbing & drain service. They helped us quickly and did a great job. Very responsive. Customer service person (Cheryl?) was incredibly responsive and helpful, talking us through how to stop the immediate issue until they arrived. Exceptional customer service and reasonable prices! They even rerouted our drainage so the laundry room would never flood again. Will definitely call again (hopefully won't need to for a while)

I used Yelp to reach out to 6 vendors for bids on a water softener installation at a newly constructed house in Cave Creek.  CWS gave me a number of options, all carefully explained in writing, and once selected, kept me well informed of the process.  After Brian came out and installed my system, I had to disconnect it in order to have my garage floor coated.  I was unable to reconnect it, so he promptly came out again and fixed me up.  Highly recommend this company!

Alan showed up within the designated time frame and was able to complete the faucet repair job quickly. He was friendly and professional, plus the most affordable. If needed, I will utilize his services again. A+

So I drilled a hole through my pipe, and had a bit of an emergency as a result! They came out right away and fixed my problem for a great and fair price! Good people.  Would definitely use again. Thanks guys!

Communicated with Gary via Yelp. Quoted a price and since we are not DIY people I wanted a handyman that I can have on speed dial.
Gary installed 4 light fixtures for me, removing the existing ones and hanging new modern ones.
He showed up on time and got right to work. Brought all his own tools and did all the work himself. After talking to Gary found out he has vast experience and can do it all.
I highly recommend him and will use him for my future projects.

Horrible scheduling: I had two appointments: I was called to reschedule them twice due to their last minute conflicts:  No biggie but one I scheduled off and lost 5 hours of work.  Then when I had an appointment on a Saturday, Tech called and said he has on McDowell rd and nothing happening and wanted to head up to my place (North Peoria):  i said I had my Daughters Soccer game but sure go ahead and come up and I'll be home in 45-60 minutes.  Well after about 30 minutes the Tech called and had an emergency call and had to push me once again.  3 times. No RESPECT for their customer except for their internal contract customers. Go Elsewhere: 1 phone call to ASAP plumbing and they quick to respond and was about about $50 cheaper than Moon Valley estimate.

Had Gabe out only once when my home warranty guy couldn't, or wouldn't, locate the laundry room clean out. Last week I had another problem, that I thought might involve a roof vent clean out, which I knew my warranty wouldn't cover. Called Gabe. He told me over the phone what my problem was; said he remembered the service call over a year ago, remembered the house, and noted at the time a potential issue--even gave me an approximate cost to repair. I decided to put a bandaid on the problem for the time being, which his analysis made easier.

Very appreciative of the prompt, same day service which resolved my emergency plumbing issues.

Although I couldn't use them at this point their follow up with with my concerns was great...I was suggested several good options to try first but if the quality of their work matches their help to a non- customer I'm betting they are a great choice.

My water heated sprouted a major leak on the night before Easter Sunday.  I called Rooter Hero and they were professional and sent someone out within the hour.   This is why they get any stars.     The tech came out and shut off the unit and said he would be back with another guy the next day between 8-10am to discuss my options.     At 10 the next morning I had not heard anything yet so called and was told I was scheduled between 10-12.  It would have been nice to get that update but ok.   At 11 I got a call from a manager that said it would be later in the day but he would give me an hour's notice so that I did not spent the whole day tied up waiting.  A half hour later I got a call from a different tech saying he was on his way.   I asked about the hour warning, since I now was out running an errand, and was told he could wait an hour if needed.   The new tech came out and said that I had a special heater so it was going to be expensive and I might as well get a new tankless unit.  This was the extent of the option discussion. He did not even provide any guidance on the pros/cons of a tank or tankless unit.  I asked how much each option would be and he said the tankless was about $6800 and the tank would be more but he needed to get more info on Monday morning to be sure.    He said he would get me a quote by noon on Mon.   That was over 3 weeks ago and I never heard back.    In the meantime I got more quotes and the highest quote I got was at least $3000 LESS than the Rooter Hero quote and this was for replacement of the exact same type of special heater that I had before.  I honestly feel that the quote from Rooter Hero was so outrageously overpriced that they were embarrassed to put it in writing. They made two trips to my home and if they had they just given me a fair quote they would have had a sale and a loyal customer and a good review but instead they hoped I would just say yes to the first outrageous quote.  They were so sure they were out of line that they never even followed up.   Such an odd business model, especially during these times when they had a cash customer.    Beware of these guys and always get more quotes.
