I couldn't love this company more. After dealing with Roto-Rooter for a similar issue at a family members property, I was panicking about the expense of having my main line fixed. Bob came out, gave a reasonable quote (with the information we had on hand at the time), and had his guys come out the next day. Water line is fixed, cost was within original quote, and his workers were polite, friendly and got the job done quickly. I'll never use another plumbing company.

Had an issue with the previous plumber making excuses, and wanting to re-schedule despite an extremely tight deadline. Luckily, I found Domenic !! Donovan Plumbing was there each day and on time. He worked steady each day til the job was complete - and made sure it was done right and even a few days before the deadline. Very professional, friendly service. I would highly recommend Donovan Plumbing to my family, friends and anyone else in need of plumbing services.

Can not say enough good things about Jason and the entire team at Kowalski - treated me like a member of the family and made sure that everything was done right. Answered all my questions and above all made me feel comfortable with the work we had done. Owner (Jason) went above and beyond to be onsite numerous times through out the 2 days of work, and had a crew of 4 working concurrently to minimize the disruption to our family. Looking forward to working with them again in the future.

I've had this man clean my gutters twice. Very professional. I will call him when I need something done again. Clean vehicle, clean appearance. Doesn't talk down to women.

Bryan and Anthony came by today to give an estimate on fixing some shoddy work under our sink. I'd been trying to get someone to fix this for weeks and, to varying replies (destroy the back of the cabinets - get a contractor to come out and pull the granite/cabinets to access the pipes - or go in through the finished ceiling in the basement) and that's when I could actually get someone to reply. These two came in, assessed the situation, figured the least destructive course of action, ran down to the hardware store, and knocked the job out in maybe two hours.
We will definitely use them again should more plumbing stuff crop up.

Called Noah's Ark Plumbing on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. He was my third call and the only one that answered without having to leave a message. He was out of town and asked if he could call the other employees to come look at my main drain which was backed up. He said he would call back promptly to let me know when to expect someone. I knew the Sunday after a holiday plus the start of deer hunting season would make it hard to find someone. He called back in less than 15 minutes and told me he was on his way back from deer camp with his daughter. He also said he would be coming to look at and fix the problem himself. He told me he would be arriving around 2-3:00pm. He arrived before 3:00pm note this is only 4 hours after I initially called. He came and looked at the problem. He brought down his equipment and within an hour not only cleared the drain he also pointed out the cause of the blockage. His price never changed. I would recommend this business to any and everyone!!!

Clogged main waste line. the plumber tried his hardest to get it loose without putting in the new access just wasn't possible.. so he gave estimate of 450$ & told us we had an option to call around & they will come back to clean it out after it was fixed. We hope its an average price we paid for this repair. The service was great, friendly, & cleaned up after the work was done.

Do Not Hire This Plumber. Rob Metz of Metz Plumbing & Sewer Lining came to our home Friday, Feb. 12th to confirm we had a leak on the main water line coming into our house. He surveyed inside and outside of the house and confirmed there was a leak and he could fix it. A contract was signed Tuesday, February 16th and the repair would be made Friday the 19th. He also advised us to hire American Leak Detection so the exact location of leak could be pinpointed. We did hire this company. However, they were not able to pinpoint the exact location of the leak only the area. They also determined that we were losing 300-400 gallons per day and would turn off our water at the curb. After all Rob was coming the following morning to make the repair. We could handle being without water for 24 hours. An hour before he was scheduled to start our job Rob called to cancel. He had a host of reasons why he was cancelling but we later surmised it was because he NEVER NOTIFIED PA One Call in locating the underground utilities at the dig site. His new time frame to start our job was February 24th. Later that afternoon Rob called once again with another round of excuses and postponed our repair indefinitely. I was dumfounded. He said he would now need the weekend to think about our job and would call us first thing Monday morning. I reminded him we had a signed contract with him to repair our water main line that day and American Leak Detection had turned our water off. Rob replied that turning the water back on was an easy two second fix. He never showed to turn the water back on.
Monday morning came and went. No call from Rob only an email from Jenn, his wife, asking if we hired another plumber. Seems Monday morning Rob FINALLY decided to call PA One Call as to the location of the underground utilities. At that point they notified him another plumber had already placed a ticket for our job site. Jenn's email stated that we should feel free to hire another plumber if we felt the need to do so and that is exactly what we did.
Metz Plumbing & Sewer Lining misrepresent themselves as a plumbing company handling all plumbing needs. Seems sewer lines is their specialty and if that is the case then it should be stated as such. We had a signed contract with him to find and repair the water main leak on Friday, February 19th. He obviously had no intentions of honoring that contract and he left us stranded without water for (4) days. He also led us to believe he was coming Friday afternoon to turn the water on and never showed. After all it is an easy two second fix.
For all the above mentioned reasons DO NOT HIRE Rob Metz to do your plumbing needs. It has been our personal experience that Rob is not experienced in these matters and by no means is he professional.

Go elsewhere. This man will threaten to take you to court if you are unpleased with his work. Extortion much? I had to use an alias on Yelp just so that he doesn't threaten me in real life. Terrible businessman.

Wouldn't even give them a 1! I called a 3 am because GOOGLE says 24 hour service! No answer get a call back from a different number! Then he tells me I don't call at 3 am! And hangs up on me! That's not how to keep or get business

Tom deserves all 5 stars. He was professional and fixed my plumbing issue ASAP with no problems. He didn't charge me an arm and a leg like most large plumbing companies probably would. He made it a priority and when he told me he would be here at 8:30 am he pulled into the driveway exactly on time. I didn't have to call an 800# and push prompts and talk to a robot; he took my first call. I highly recommend and will be calling him again to fix all the other things that my little condo.
I had Tom come to my house again for another plumbing issue. Again, nothing but prompt, helpful and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

I recently used South Hills Heating and Plumbing for removal and replacement of a water heater. Fred was very friendly on the phone. His price was fair and comparable to other firms. I always prefer to use a local business, and they did not disappointment. Called at 10 a.m. with a leaking water heater, the crew of 2 arrived by 2 p.m., and were done by 3:30. They left everything the way they found it, and hauled the old heater away. Thanks for great service. We will be calling you again, but hopefully not too soon!

Awesome plumber, great prices, we had multiple gas leaks in the basement, and our gas was shut off. He was here the next day and got everything up to safety quickly. He did not replace everything that was unnecessary, he's an honest hard working guy. If you need a good plumber he is the way to go.

A great family business that always responds to my calls quickly, which is unusual. Prices are always more than fair. I just like the fact he ALWAYS gives me a correct and honest opinion on what a job will require and if he can't do the work he will refer me someone who can. It's nice because I know he doesn't make a dime when he does this. To me this proves he's honest and cares.

OH this is going to be a loooong review. I first talked to Alberts around May 17th and was told that they were scheduling out about a week or two. I got several estimates, but went with Albert's because I am on a tight timeline. I was looking for someone to put in 2 forced air systems (heat and AC). I wanted this for several reasons:
1. I do not like how minisplits look on the inside or outside of the house
2. the house has several built ins and fireplaces that make the placement of minisplits less than ideal
3. I don't like boilers
4. I don't like how the radiators look in rooms with boiler heat
I know these are all cosmetic, but if I am willing to pay 1/3 of the price I paid for the house to put in the system I want, I should get the system I want.
After confirming again that they could start working the week of May 22nd I verbally agreed to the contract and set an appointment to sign it. When the sales guy arrived with the contract, it was missing some things, so he said he would reprint it. I didn't get the corrected contract back until around May 24, 2023 (that's the day they emailed it, I might have signed it a few days later). I was a little annoyed at this point because I was told it was a 2-3 day job and was signing the contract on the day I initially was told the job would be done by. I was waiting on ALL other work to the house because Albert's was going to remove the boiler and baseboard radiators, when the radiators are removed I would need baseboard work and drywall before I could put in floors.
Everything just kept being rescheduled and pushed back to wait for HVAC.
On May 24th I was told that they would start work the next week (May 29th, 1 week late).
The next week I call to see when they are coming. I am told that because of the holiday they are behind and they will call to schedule by the end of the week. After getting the run around for a week, I finally get a VM on June 6th from the sales guy saying that they will begin the work on June 12th (4 weeks late).
On June 12th, I was on a work trip and got a very vague VM from the sales guy telling me that there were some things he wanted to talk to me about. We were going to need to cut attic access and they wanted to change the original location that we decided on, because they didn't think there would be access to the whole attic from that location. I knew that there was access to the whole attic from that location, because it is my grandparents house.
They didn't believe me. They then told me that they were not comfortable proceeding until I was back in town to go over several things.
I met with both the sales guy and the main HVAC guy as soon as I was back in town. The main HVAC guy told me that it was not possible to put in 2 forced air systems and that I would have to use minisplits and a boiler. We were standing in the basement when they said this. I immediately turned around and walked away.
I cried, then I called my mom, then I called all 4 other companies I had gotten estimates from, then I cried again.... All while the sales guy and main HVAC guy stood in my basement waiting for me to come back.
All of the other companies were willing to do the work, but would be 3-5 weeks out, Albert's said they would be able to start on the minisplits and boiler the next week. I got the new contract on June 16th and was told the work would start early the next week. They finally got to work on June 21st (almost 6 weeks later than I was originally told) and left an absolute mess (that is in the pictures) on the stairs floor. I had also started all of the other work on the house at this point (since we were no longer removing the baseboard radiators), so there were drywallers, paint, electricians, and my mom in and out of the house. After the first day of work I got a text that said, the guys will do their best to work around my mom or anyone else who may be on site while they are working. I don't know if it was the whole ordeal or what, but that message did not sit well. I was told at this point that the work would be done by Friday June 23.
It was not.
On Friday, we were told that the hot water was working but the AC would be finished Monday. My mom then proceeded to take a shower on Saturday. When she came out of the shower she was shivering and said, I think your hot water is colder than my cold water. The hot water did not work. They told me that tankless water tanks can take a while to warm up. Then they said they would fix it Monday. Tuesday, we do the inspection and the boiler isn't heating, so they work on that again, and I pay (because I think everything is working). Then the next time I am back the hot water doesn't work again and the whole system is off (he just turned it back on, still waiting to see what happens next). Overall, I am glad to have AC and glad to be done with it, but I am unhappy I paid so much for something I didn't want, because I got stuck with Albert's based on my timeline and their lateness.

The plumber was so disrespectful and extremely rude. I work in customer service and nobody should ever degrade someone and converse with someone the way the owner talked to me.
This was the second time Polucci Plumbing came to fix my water line as well. When fixing it the second time, one of the workers said how they remembered seeing seeing a huge brick near the waterline the last time which he insinuated that that may have been part of the line breaking right next to the brick for the second time.
Additionally, the line was repaired and the water was turned on. However, I was not getting any water. I had to call Polucci to come back out since nobody had asked the residents to check to make sure the water was running properly.
When he returned the next day and fixed the issue; I was only getting a trickle of water. I called the plumber back as soon as he left and he had an appalling demeanor and said he had to go to work. I replied, this is your job and what you were hired to do. He asked if I took off my shower head to see if there was any debris behind it, which I had not done, because I would not know to do that since I am not the plumber.
My water pressure was great prior to Polucci Plumbing fixing my line (there was a leak from the yard; Therefore, this did not effect the actual water pressure in my home, prior to Polucci coming out).
Furthermore, the water pressure is still low and trickling in the shower. I am so displeased with this whole experience, especially when someone is getting paid to do their job and do it correctly in a professional manner.
I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone.
