Best Electricians in Pennsylvania

My heat pumps weren't working so I contacted a large Lehigh Valley heating company to come out. They failed to show up - had to call their office & learned the guy was out sick (they never called to tell me) and then they agreed to send someone else out. Wasted my entire day waiting for them. They eventually showed up and said they made the repairs and left. Fast forward 3 months. It's now summer and I now I have no AC. This time I called Artisan. They came out within an hour, exactly as promised and quickly figured out the problem. Someone had apparently opened up the drain valve on my AC coolant! I later learned that this tactic is used by some unscrupulous companies - they open the valve during a visit so there's a slow leak - you then call months later with no AC and when they come back they tell you that you now need a whole need system. The previous company had likely opened up the valve (and no way for me to prove it). Artisan figured it out and instead of telling me I needed a new system they simply replaced the coolant. Impressed with the great service I called them again - this time for a leaking toilet. It was a Sunday and just as promised they showed up on time and made the repair at the price quoted. Great company that I would definitely hire again.

We were referred to Main Line Electrical from another contractor that was working on a complete renovation of our bar/restaurant, we had several complicated electrical issues and Travis handled them with great efficiency and professionalism.  We would highly recommend Travis and Main Line Electrical.

I would recommend him for electrical work. He did a good job with my 200amp service. Also fished some wires for me. He is on time and cleans up before leaving.

Amazing guys! Scott and his crew were professional and thorough from estimate to final walk through. They did a whole bunch of work from upgrading my box to installing and rewiring half the house. The team came in, well organized and finished according to plan. They cleaned up after themselves and were very thoughtful about where they placed new fixtures and switches. Their price was 15% below my next lowest bid too. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again!

Mark is the absolute best!!! He has helped us out of many an electrical jam and saved us from probable fire !!  He mounted our TV, changed old switches and solved electrical mysteries in our home.  We have used him several times in both of our homes.  I wish I could give him 100 stars!!

Wednesday afternoon I lost half the electric in my home.  I called Jonathan and he came quickly, fixed the problem and left us grateful.  Very grateful.  His service is wonderful.

Highly recommended. If you want the job done with a professional, Fayiz is it. Great job, great price, and very responsive. I was so impressed with how Fayiz surveyed my situation and gave me the result I wanted. I asked Fayiz to hide an ugly black power cord from my LED bathroom vanity light that was sticking out and plugged into a wall outlet. Fayiz pick up supplies, came back, fished out some wires from another box and installed a whole new outlet behind the mirror. He installed a Lutron smart a dimmer switch and with that I was able to get the effect I wanted. He explained everything. Fayiz was even kind enough to help me trouble shoot a few other light switches. I'm very happy with his work.

It's become quite the norm over the years to always leave room for improvement, but I honestly could not do that in good conscience.   Troy and his son showed up on time, as promised, and did the work they were hired to do in less time than expected.  The entire work area was cleaned and left just as it was when they arrived.  I'm a happy dude and give Mainline electric 2 thumbs up.

McClelland installed my whole house Kohler generator 4 years ago.  Although they said that they do annual service on generators, I was only able to get them out once when it was acting up.  When it stopped working late last year, I called 6 times from October 1 to December 31 to have him come out and each time, the person who answered the phone promised to give him the message.  Nothing else happened.  I have since found another company who came out immediately, ordered a part and installed it within a week.   This is a rinky dink operation, that doesn't care about the customer.  Stay away.

NOT DEPENDABLE !! Asked them to do an estimate for a broken whole house fan. A guy came to my house on September 24th. I was charged 179.00 + tax for a guy to look at my whole house fan. Nice guy, no problems with him. But if you are going to spend 179 dollars just for someone to spend a few minutes diagnosing, the hope is the company will finish the job and it will be a good investment. Texted the owner on 9/30 because I had not heard anything. She said she would send the estimated that day. Didn't happen. Texted the owner on October 7. No answer. Texted the owner on October 9. Owner said she would text it to me that day. Never happened. Don't tell a customer you will send them an estimate if you cannot send them an estimate and don't charge a person 179.00 to diagnose a problem if you do not intend to fix it. I texted them the evening October 14th at 7:16pm. I received a text after 10:30 that night stating that they would call me the next morning. I was not called the next morning. I am done.

This man does good work and he is very reasonable.   That is first and foremost and should be said.   HOWEVER, he is all over the place.   His ever changing policies, his ridiculous rants on Facebook about customers who aren't satified (which he usually ends up deleting ), his constant patting himself on the back, the confusing and ever changing communication is enough to make you NOT want to like him on social media any more or use his services.    His FB business page is like a users online diary, it is all over the place. Just stick to your job.    Stop posting dumb stuff constantly and let your work speak for itself.   You are destroying your reputation with this nonsense and your all over the place rules that seem to change daily.   Chill.out. my dude.  You are legit starting to look like something is extra sus.

This review is being given by someone who has had Blake do work in my home, recommended to others both personally and in the community,  and also had Blake screw me over not following up when contacted for an emergency after initially speaking to him.   So I have had it all.

Left in the middle of a job and never came back. Not only did he not finish the work but he also left all of his trash

Why five stars? First of all because they are honest. The thing I am concerned with the most when having repairs made is whether the person making the repairs are being honest with me or trying to sell me things I don't need. Bruder is honest. So I know I can count on that. Secondly, the work they do is done right. I don't have to worry about that with Bruder. They have worked for me several times and every time has been a positive experience!

I recently called this electrician to replace two outlets and hang a new kitchen light in my home. The electrician went down the basement into my circuit breaker box and proceeded to check each switch by flipping them back and forth while I stood at the top of the stairs and heard him. After two hours he completed the job.

The same day, about an hour later, I turned my thermostat on because it was getting chilly in the house. After about an hour or less I noticed it was getting colder in the house and I thought we were out of oil. So I went down the basement to check on the oil meter and I had a half a tank left.

At this point, I was confused so I called my oil company and a service guy came out the next day. He checked the oil meter and then asked where the circuit breaker box was located. He then noticed that the oil switch was turned OFF not on. So, obviously the electrician did not turn the oil switch button back on.    

I called the electrician company and told them about the issue and they said they would double check with the electrician who did the service and relay the message to the owner. I heard nothing for a couple weeks and then just received a bill today. This is the conclusion that they came to: THE ELECTRICIAN DOESN'T REMEMBER TURNING OFF MY OIL SWITCH.

So, I turned off my own heat and hot water for 24 hours?

Well, I guess I can officially give this place one star even though it deserves 0 stars. Called this place and ask them to come out for some electrical work. They said they would come out within the week.

A month later and 2 attempts to get them on the phone (both failed) they still are not here  and have yet to even responded... so I took my business elsewhere. $5,000 dollars in electrical work gone. Some people just dont like money or maybe they just dont know what they're doing over here. I guess Ill never know. Goodluck, McMenamins Electrical. The way you guys do business youre going to need it.
