Long ago and far away . . . okay, technically it was about 10 years ago and in Midtown Tulsa, I lived in a cute little apartment and the toilet developed a leak. The landlord called out plumber JR Cross. Cross made an impression because (1) he showed up at the time he said he would, (2) he fixed the problem quickly, and (3) he was polite and professional. I told myself if I ever owned a house and needed a plumber, Cross would be the guy I'd call.
Well, all these years later, Hubbie and I own a home in South Tulsa and a couple days ago, we had trouble with one of the toilets. I left a message at the office number at about 4:45 p.m., heard back within 5 minutes, and Cross was available to come out the next morning on the way to another job. He was at our house at the appointed time, fixed the problem (plus another small glitch that he found), charged us a reasonable fee, and was on his way in just under an hour. He was respectful of our space, took his shoes off at the door (it was a rainy day), and left no mess behind.
Absolutely recommend Cross Plumbing!

I had the company out for an a/c tune up today. When the tech left I noticed he documented on the work order that he changed my 2 filters. I also noticed that he in fact did NOT change my filters and I immediately called. Melody stated that 'the technician was just making note of the size i need' but admitted he in fact did NOT change my filters. I had previously given the company my filter sizes to bring on several different occasions. Changing filters is a basic part of an a/c tune up and I am unhappy with the service I received, or lack thereof. I would not recommend this company.

Came and fixed my washer box. They gave me up front estimate and came out to my place within a few days. They later called me again to see if I wanted to schedule a replacement. I was happy and impressed. Fast, easy, reliable.

I explained that there was a broken sprinkler valve that I wanted them to replace. They came out and said they don't work on sprinkler systems and charged 100 dollars for a consultation fee.

I had some under sink work that needed to be done to get a new dishwasher installed. I'm new to the area, but ECS was recommended to us by a friend. Jason came out and did a wonderful job. Professional, polite and reasonable rates. I'm sure I'll be calling them again the next time I have a plumbing project or any issues that need attention.

This company came out the summer before last to repair a clogged drain. It took them two days to unclog, but in the process they Roto routed through pipes underneath my house causing a major leak and made it to where my underbelly of my house became saturated with water from the pipes they cause the leaks in. Because their repairs did not hold, we are now looking at a very major repair. Also as a result of them cutting the bottom membrane open we are going to have to replace the bottom membrane. After they completed the work, I waited for their bill to arrive listing exactly what they did. several weeks went by and I was unable to get a response from them with an itemized statement. I never received a bill from them. This showed me that they knew that they had done damage on the underside of my house. I would not recommend this company to anyone at this time.

I do NOT recommend this business. I paid $670 for a shower leak repair that never got fixed. I am very dissatisfied with their work. I found them via Thumbtack where I specifically posted I had a shower that was leaking and needed a faucet replaced, but after they worked on it for two days the problem was never fixed. Water kept leaking from my shower head, even after the faucet was closed all the way off. When they first came to my home, I spoke to business owner, I believe his name is David, I explained that as a temporary fix I installed a shower head with an on/off button. I told him that a while ago, someone else who looked at the shower suggested removing the entire faucet from the pipes and replacing it with a new one as it also was not delivering hot water. I explained that in order to do this they would've had to break part of the wall to get behind it as it did not have access elsewhere. David said he understood and that he would fix the leak. He worked on it for a bit that day, then said he needed to return as they needed parts. He quoted me around $670. I thought it was high but I did not haggle and agreed. I asked to pay half on that day and then the other half when the job was completed. He agreed, and went off to buy the part. He returned but said that he needed to wait another day for the part to be delivered. When he returned the next day (around three hours late) I was not able to be present but I allowed him to continue the work as I believed he understood the situation and perceived him as a professional. When he was done, he called me and told me the valve was replaced and that it no longer leaked, saying that he even waited minutes to make sure no leak happened. I thanked him and paid him the remaining amount. When I returned home, the leak was still present. I called him and expressed the leak still happened and he said he would return later in the evening to check it out. But he was not able to make it as he was busy and said he would come the following day around noon to check it out. The next day I came home early and I kept texting him, calling him, on which seemed to be a GOOGLE VOICE number, I left voicemails, and he did not reply for almost the entire day. Finally towards the late afternoon he answered saying that he was not able to come back as he was very busy with other projects, and because he believed the job was completed. When I told him the leak was still happening he blamed it on the shower head I had temporarily installed to stop the leak. He said he did replace a valve, which apparently was my original ask, and he expressed that next time I shouldn't make recommendations as he is the educated plumber unlike myself in a very degrading manner. I told him that any advice I had given him in regards to what was needed was just from my perception as I am not a plumber whatsoever. I kept pleading him to return and continue to fix the leak but he said I was talking in circles and that he would not return unless I paid him for the visit, and even more for any further repairs. I told him that he was free to call me back when he came to his senses as I am a very dissatisfied customer and the initial job was not complete, but he never called back.

I came home to find my back yard destroyed by these people. Neighbor had a sewer line issue and neither neighbor or this company had the decency of giving advance notice about this issue. They destroyed my yard and when I spoke to the owner, Christopher Walls, he was completely rude and had nothing to say about advance notice.
