W & W Plumbing Plumbing Service
Joe repaired our leaking jacuzzi. It took quite a bit of detection to locate the problem but Joe never gave up. He installed a new toilet as well. I will always call W &W Plumbing for any future problem I have.

Tony was fantastic!  Same day service on my sump pump, and very reasonable.  The communication via e-mail, phone and text was the best I have ever experienced with any contractor.  Top notch.

Chapman Drainage and Basement Repair Plumbing Service
Wow!!  That's all I can say.  Chapman Drainage went above and beyond fixing my drainage pipes from intruding roots.  Worked with me for several months to assure that my basement stayed dry, then came out today and did a killer job and even did more than I asked for just to make sure the job was done right and so we wouldn't have to worry in the future.  The men were extremely professional and worked to perfect the job.  I'm sad I could only give a 5 star review, because they deserve more.  Recommend 110%!

John and Chris were able to eliminate my drain problem in a short amount of time, I had one of the other local companies here first, but they wanted 3x the money to fix the same issue! I'll definitely be using John and the team at Plumbing and Drain Professionals from now on! Thank you for taking care of my plumbing!

The Drainworks Plumbing Service
I contacted Drainworks last week(Wednesday)to see if I had something going on with a drainpipe. They came to my home right away to tell me that there was a huge issue but someone else would be coming to give me an estimate because Jason was not the person to give estimates. He was very prompt, kind, and courteous. Jim contacted me later the same day to set up an appointment to have the general manager to come out, survey the issue and write and estimate and that he would email me my estimate on Monday, the following week. Ok. All was agreed. Monday, no one came to my property so I am an understanding person and figured I'd give it another day. It is now Tuesday. Still no one to come survey my property to write up an estimate. I contacted Jim at the office and he state that this general manager did write up the estimate but that he must have sent it to the wrong email address. I made sure he had the correct email address. Its 8:30 pm and I still not not have any email with an estimate and have also checked my spam folder. I now feel it's best to do buisness with another company because they are either extremely busy or downright unprofessional.

Foust Plumbing & Heating Plumbing Service
I've used Foust Plumbing twice now. Both times I received excellent service! The plumbers were nice, courteous, and didn't try to talk me into unnecessary repairs. The first guy actually fixed a second shower for free! The second guy could have easily told me that I needed to have a hole cut into the wall to fix a leaking shower faucet, but instead found a way to fix it without damaging the wall. I will totally call them again and recommend them to friends.

The Service People Plumbing Service
One of their crew came to take a look at my running toilet on July 28th and determined that a new 3 toilet flapper is needed. After calling to get one and then retrieving and installing it, he told me that the charge was $149. I thought this charge was really expensive for a very minor repair. I spoke with other friends about it, and I was told that I was ripped off. I am not going to use this company again. Make sure to ask for repair cost or an estimate ahead of time.

McAtee Plumbing Heating & Cooling Plumbing Service
I rarely give 1 star reviews, and I wouldn't have bothered but please beware of this company.

We had to deal with this company through Home Warranty, they outsource their work for any jobs that are assigned out of their home state. This might be why they are so incompetent, but Frank is a total unprofessional liar and this company should definitely not be used at all costs due to their dishonest business practices and fraudulent billing. They have probably been doing this for years, there is probably just cause for a class action lawsuit with how much additional money they have been able to get suckered out of people that do not question their charges. We had in excess of $700 in out of pocket costs on top of what the home warranty company was going to cover for a replacement of a basic hot water heater. The home warranty company does not provide the pricing breakdown, upon calling this company...they refuse to give their price breakdown in the form of email. This should be a red flag #1. They also have girls that work in the dispatch office that have zero customer service skills, maybe they are related to Frank because I saw a common thread there with lack of personality. Once we finally got some verbal breakdown of charges, we realized they are overinflated for bogus inflated permit charges and a disposal fee. Frank immediately blamed his contractor for not putting the correct charges down, that is red flag #2 which shows **** poor management when someone blames a tech for their shortcomings and gets antagonistic for being called out for it and the lack of accountability within a shadily run organization. These were confirmed as bogus charges because we were able to get reassigned to a different company that charged about 1/3 of what they were trying to charge for the exact work that was to be done. Frank and his company are so horrible, that the home warranty company refunded us back our service fee which is pretty much unheard of with these types of places and filed a complaint against him. I was basically told that I could take it or leave it and I can go eff myself and then hung up on.

Baumann Plumbing Plumbing Service
Completely unprofessional and unreliable company. Contacted them two weeks ago for a backflow test; they assured me they would be in either the next day or the day after. Never showed, no call explaining what was going on, nothing. Called again yesterday to see what was going on and was assured that they would be in by 1 pm. 1 pm comes and goes, again no call or explanation or anything. After a few hours I call again to see what was going on and leave a message. No response. Then this morning I give them another call and they have the audacity to ignore my call. Would not recommend.

Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Columbus Plumbing Service
This is going to be a bit long, but the situation warrants it.  On Saturday, April 28th, I went into our basement and discovered the sewer backing up through our floor drain.  I have never had to call a plumber before and clearly didn't have time to research so I called the plumber closest to our home:  Mr. Rooter.  They said someone would be there within the hour and, mostly on time, someone showed up after an hour and a few minutes.  Aaron H. was odd and bit off-putting but, whatever; there was poop in my basement.  Aaron got his camera out and fairly quickly discovered that the previous owners (we've been there less than a year) had been flushing SOMETHING they shouldn't have.  My theory is Depends, but that's a story for a different day.  He says that he can't push the clog through and we'll have to schedule a different tech to come out with a different machine to blast it with high pressure water for $1000.  Obviously, this wasn't good news but so far, so good on the company's part.

Aaron gets a new cap for our pipe out of his truck and discovers that the new one doesn't fit because the rim of the old had sort of rusted to the pipe and was stuck in there.  He asked my husband for a hammer and chisel ...what?  That alarmed me slightly but I decided to remove myself from the situation because I'm not always the kindest under stress.  I don't know if my husband ended up giving him the tools or if he got something from his truck, but Aaron removed the stuck piece and let my husband know we were good to go.  My husband went downstairs to check things out and ... there was a hole in our pipe.  It wasn't leaking before, so it wasn't there before, and it was right near the opening that Aaron had just been hacking away at, yet Aaron hemmed and hawed and didn't want to take responsibility.  First, he said that there was no way we could know that hole wasn't there before (ummm ... we had been down there all afternoon, staring at this pipe), then he said that when pipes get rusty, they get holes (right, but you slamming away it probably didn't help).  Aaron eventually offered up his boss's cell number but was very nonchalant about the whole thing.

Aaron left and my husband immediately called Mark, Aaron's boss and the owner of this branch.  Mark was a little wishy washy and uncaring too, but we tried to give him the benefit of the doubt; it was Saturday evening, he was home with his kids, and this wasn't a call he wanted to get.  Mark said he would come to our house on Monday, April 30th, which he did.  Long story short on that end, Mark agreed to send someone out to fix the pipe and do their best to push the clog along without the water hose, mostly because they were going to have to cut into our drywall to get the machine into the basement.  We set up our appointment for Wednesday, May 2nd, between 4p and 6p.

At 5.30p, on May 2nd, we got a call that they were a bit behind but would be onsite within the hour.  A little after 6.30p, I got a call that they were still behind but this time, they would DEFINITELY be onsite within the hour.  Around 7.45p, I called to find out what was actually going on and they said the same thing:  we'll be there within the hour.  At this point, I couldn't wait until 9p for a plumber to show up (if they planned on showing up at all), so I rescheduled for Thursday, May 3rd.

The first thing the tech, Nick, said on May 3rd was, I've tried to get a hold of Mark a bunch of times, but he never answered or got back to me.  GREAT.  I don't know much about plumbing, but Mark had promised our pipe would be replaced with a Y pipe; Nick had not been told this and Nick would not do this.  He went to the store and got whatever part he needed (shouldn't that have been in his truck?) and got to work.  He was able to push the clog through fairly easily, which I really appreciate, but also think is TOTAL bull, considering the THOUSAND DOLLAR LINE Aaron tried to feed us.  He was also able to quickly replace our holey pipe with a new pipe, that was still not what we were promised by Mark.

All in all, this was an already unfortunate circumstance, which we didn't bring on ourselves, that was just exacerbated by Mr. Rooter.  As much as I would like to give them big hurrahs for fixing our pipe, they broke it.  And as grateful as I'd like to be that they could push the clog through without ripping a hole in our wall and charging us a thousand dollars, that was apparently a totally legit, normal, easy action that should have been done five days prior.  0/10, would not hire again.

Chris Plumbing Service Plumbing Service
I am 74 with special child 48, my experience with Chris Plumbing was Unprofessional and Chris DID NOT do any work, yet led me to believe he fixed my problem. 11-7-16 I called Chris Plumbing about water ring around toilet, Chris said he had a job shortly but could stop and give me a free estimate.  Came in flip flops, and shorts, no paperwork,I took him to son's upstairs bathroom, Chris jumped up and down said I needed new floor wood rot. I told him I did not need a new floor as I had a new wood floor, toilet, sink, painted in less that two years ago, then Chris said he would take the toilet off and check everything out.

Came downstairs in 5 minutes said plumbing fine everything ok but had time to fix it. Went to truck came back with no tool box went up stairs.

Came down in 10 minutes said it would be $100.00, asked if I could take the discount listed on his ad, Chris said he already did that it was $100.00.

My son's caregiver was up stairs the first five minutes, came down went to the basement to get laundry, when Jim came up I was writing the check for Chris thinking Chris did work. I walked to the truck with Chris as he did not give me an invoice and I thought he would write me one, Chris reached into his truck and gave me his business card, no last name, no address, picture of a women and two kids, could hardly read phone #. Chris said he had been listed with Westland Messenger for years and if he get one complaint they will drop his ad, no need to worry gave 30 day warranty which I noted on the check.

Two days later On 7-9-16 I went up stairs to see if my son made his bed. There was water all over the bathroom floor, being by myself I put towels all over the floor. Went down stairs and looked up Chris Plumbing on my iPad. There was a review on Chris Plumbing back in 2011 almost the same as what happened to me, they said Chris said he would come three times to check out his problem and never came, with that I called another Plummer.

They  came right away, Had to snake line, said bad blockage way down, they did fix my problem. If Chris did anything Chris would have found the blockage as well. They charged $114.00 but did do the work. I called Chris and told him I wanted my money back, he said he did not trust me, I hung up.

Sent Chris Plumbing in Galloway a CERTIFIED LETTER asking for my $100.00 they would not sign for the letter. I reported this to Westland Messinger and the BBB.

I feel Chris Scamed me when I told him I did not need a new floor, to take advantage of a 74 year old lady when all he would have had to do was snake the line blockage.

I tell my story so others may not be taken in 15 minutes, I feel like a fool, my son's caregiver told me he could not have done anything in such a short time, said people like this should be stopped. That is why I wrote this, it is the principle of thing, shame on you Chris.

K & D Plumbing Plumbing Service
DO NOT PUNISH YOURSELF BY HIRING K&D PLUMBERS.  There are far too many honest, reliable, competent, and hard working plumbers for you to waste your money on this crew.

If you want to feel like a second class citizen, use K&D Plumbing.  David and team were hired to do several plumbing jobs on my house addition.  David's communication with me and my general contractor was horrible and virtually nonexistent.  David would regularly not return calls / messages and failed to follow through on several critical items (i.e., permit coordination) that caused significant delays in the project.  His failure to talk to the paying customer and follow through on promises also caused delays throughout the project.  To cap it all off, David sent one of his plumbers to change out a natural gas feed line to a fireplace.  His plumber had installed it previously, but his work FAILED the City's inspection.  David regularly pulled his plumber from scheduled dates to fix this poor work.  Upon completion of this last bit of work, David overcharged me by $95 for an hour of labor that his plumber did not work.  He agreed to me not having to pay for the 1 hour his employee did not work on my job, but he never sent an adjusted invoice.  In the flurry of paying several trades for their services on my home, I mistakenly overpaid David the $95 for the 1 hour not really worked.  I contacted him quickly to notify him of the error, but he had already cashed my check.  I requested a refund for that overage.  He told me that he 'deserved' the extra money and refused to refund it.  Eventually, he agreed to send me a $95 check.  Well, that date came and went without me receiving a check or hearing a word from David.  After a couple weeks, I again attempted to contact David to inquire about the money and refund.  He told me that he has no intention of returning my money and that it was my problem since I wrote the check.  There is a term for someone who makes promises and does not keep his word.  There is also a term for someone who takes things, in this case nearly $100, that is not rightfully theirs.

T & R Plumbing Plumbing Service
Hired Rocky to do a plumbing rough in on a house we are building. Gave him $825 down payment of $3500 total. I paid for the materials. He sent 2 knuckelheads out to the house and they made a huge mess, spilled the purple primer everywhere, it looked like a 3rd grader did the job. Hacked up my floor joists. I had the inspector stop by and he said it would never pass inspections as they had toilets draining into the vent stacks etc... I asked him to deduct the 2 days they worked out there and refund the rest of my money. Never heard another word from him. Run 100 miles an hour away from this scam artist, he really doesnt have a clue.
