Bob is the most reliable plumber you could ask for. He has helped us out of multiple plumbing emergencies and he is fast and efficient. He always gets in contact with you quickly, and makes you feel like a priority. I can't express how great a guy he really is.

I had a gas line leak and this company was on the limited list of accredited ones by Lancaster Gas service. Cr. Strohmeyer put me at the top of his list due to seriousness of the problem. He investigated the pipe and was able to thread the new pipes through the existing ones. This meant I didn't need to have my front lawn dug up to reach the faulty pipe.
I was impressed by his professionalism and attention to detail. He took pains to explain what the options were, how they would be done and made me feel confident of his expertise.
I have already recommended him to friends and have put him on my list of 'best people to call.'

I've lived in Marion for 17 years now and have had several occasions to hire someone to clear my sewer pipe.  I've always used Harold's Rooter Service and been happy with the job they do every time.  Their prices are very reasonable.

Great and timely service, always thorough, communicative, and providing a friendly face. This company has served for many years in the Columbus area and have outstanding knowledge about your plumbing needs. Their prices are fair and they always get the job done!

We had an issue with our new system installation from last fall and AK Irrigation / Conserva came out this spring to make it right and do the spring turn on service as well. I am very happy with the professional and friendly nature of the service tech. He was very knowledgeable and courteous with my questions and did a fantastic job assuring the system was operating as it should before he left. There was no pressure for add-on services or charges. Any deficiencies he found, whether caused by them (really just the one from last year) or by changes made to our lawn and landscaping,  all were corrected without question or hesitation. I highly recommend the team from Conserva/AK Irrigation.

Claimed to have quoted us for a simple repair, but instead charged us over $500 of labor for one hour of work. Told us the total AFTER the work was done.  If you want to be charged $500 an hour for labor then please consider this plumbing service.

I called this company in a pinch when we thought we had a clogged main drain. These guys at the Drain Dr figured out that the septic co that was paid $260 yesterday pumped the wrong tank. They were fairly priced, flexible and very professional. Will definitely use them in the future!

I have used them a couple of times- they came out quick, professional, fair price. One time the issue was was user error and he fixed in two minutes and didn't charge me for being a moron :). Now that's integrity and good service!

Chris Kolb the owner of the company came out to give a quote. I had used them before to put in my irrigation system. I was expanding it to the backyard. Chris gave a bunch of excuses on why he couldn't do the job, or all the work he had to do to complete it. I asked if he wanted to do the job or not. He asked for his quote back. Took it out of my hand walked away ripping it up. Completely rude and unprofessional. They lost a long term customer today.

Handyman Guys were hired by Lowe's to do a bathroom remodel in our home.  Aside from the fact the job was pushed back twice, the crew was completely incompetent.  My husband worked in the construction field for almost 10 years and was floored at the sub-par work being done.  We hired someone for convenience, but this was the experience was much more exhausting and frustrating than I could have imagined.  We were assured the job would take 5-7 days, but we were on day 10 and still no finish in sight when we decided to say no more.  On day 3, my husband contacted the company to tell them of his concerns.  He was assured he would receive a call from the owner.  That call never came.  Twice we had workers not show up and, in addition, one day where they could not work due to a personal problem the guy was having (by the way, he did explain it in detail and it was more information than anyone should be sharing with a customer).  So, as we are in to week three of what should have been a 5 day remodel, we have a new company making repairs to all of the problems created by the workers at Handyman Guys.  Without going in to laundry list of issues (one of which included exposed wiring and insulation), I will tell you I would never recommend anyone hire Handyman Guys to do their work.  It was a waste of my time and money.

After about 20 interactions with this company, I've come to the conclusion that it's hit or miss.  Sometimes technicians will be friendly and helpful (AC/Furnace and Plumbing interactions come to mind).  The others tend to forget about your discount club discount or act like they get a commission if they sell you the platinum fix as opposed to the necessary fix (Electric and Plumbing interactions come to mind).  

Of the times where things have been realllly bad, I've been given refunds or not charged (as was the case with my previous review).  That's good and all, I'd just prefer to not have to guess if it's Jekyll or Hyde that's going to show up when my pipes are leaking.

If you're new to the house owning game, I'd suggest being wary.  Not to say they can't do quality work, I'd just say it's not always a given, which can be mentally and financially frustrating.  If you have patience and some know-how, I'd say they could be worth the call.
