We came back from vacation to a clogged sewer pipe. Roy's Rooter was there in 45 min on a Sunday. Bob was extremely helpful and friendly!  I had an appointment with a bigger company and they gave me a 4hr window and after 3.5 hrs they called to tell me they were running late...frustrated I checked Google reviews and I called Roy's. Next time I'll call Roy's first.

The price was less than the bigger company and he came on a Sunday afternoon. Also Bob offered helpful ideas for planning and protecting my house in the future.  Skip the big company and go with Roy's Rooter!

I had a gas line leak and this company was on the limited list of accredited ones by Lancaster Gas service. Cr. Strohmeyer put me at the top of his list due to seriousness of the problem. He investigated the pipe and was able to thread the new pipes through the existing ones. This meant I didn't need to have my front lawn dug up to reach the faulty pipe.
I was impressed by his professionalism and attention to detail. He took pains to explain what the options were, how they would be done and made me feel confident of his expertise.
I have already recommended him to friends and have put him on my list of 'best people to call.'

Had a plugged kitchen drain, they cleared it and cleaned it for a shockingly reasonable price and was told if it plugged again within 30 days to call and they would do it again free of charge. Recommended by all big area plumbing suppliers in area as well as companies that couldn't make it out that day.

Great and timely service, always thorough, communicative, and providing a friendly face. This company has served for many years in the Columbus area and have outstanding knowledge about your plumbing needs. Their prices are fair and they always get the job done!

I would have given zero stars if I could. Very disappointed in a company we have used for the seven years we have owned the home. Their technician arrived today to summarize our system. The first step was turning on the water. Ours is located in a utility closet off the laundry room as we have no basement. The technician could not locate the turn on and kept saying she found most turn on valves in the basement. We have no basement.

After a few minutes I suggested we reschedule if she was not confident about she needed to do. The technician was promptly out of the house and did not acknowledge me calling after her to ask if there was anything I needed to do.

I called the office and received no sympathy or apology for the problem. They need a course in customer service. The earliest they had was 18 days away. Both the owner and individual I spoke with first had no interest in trying to work me in sooner. The owner came across to me as irritated by my call. On top of all this they sent me a bill almost immediately after the technician left. They have also sent me a reminder, but say they have canceled the bill. They were great as AK Irrigation.

Reached out for assistance with a plumbing job via thumbtack. Have waited a week for someone to respond to ask me more about the job, give me a quote, something. This is very poor customer service. I was hoping to establish with a local plumber for this job and any future jobs. I guess it will not be Fraley Plumbing and Repair.

I called this company in a pinch when we thought we had a clogged main drain. These guys at the Drain Dr figured out that the septic co that was paid $260 yesterday pumped the wrong tank. They were fairly priced, flexible and very professional. Will definitely use them in the future!

had an appointment scheduled with them due to pipes freezing and our laundry room flooding, they no call no showed 2 weeks ago.  I called, left a VM, no response.  I have probably called 20 different times over the past 2 weeks and haven't received a response.  I have left 3 voicemails trying to figure out what happened and wanted to reschedule and still have yet to receive a response.  don't waste your time with these guys.

Chris Kolb the owner of the company came out to give a quote. I had used them before to put in my irrigation system. I was expanding it to the backyard. Chris gave a bunch of excuses on why he couldn't do the job, or all the work he had to do to complete it. I asked if he wanted to do the job or not. He asked for his quote back. Took it out of my hand walked away ripping it up. Completely rude and unprofessional. They lost a long term customer today.

Handyman Guys were hired by Lowe's to do a bathroom remodel in our home.  Aside from the fact the job was pushed back twice, the crew was completely incompetent.  My husband worked in the construction field for almost 10 years and was floored at the sub-par work being done.  We hired someone for convenience, but this was the experience was much more exhausting and frustrating than I could have imagined.  We were assured the job would take 5-7 days, but we were on day 10 and still no finish in sight when we decided to say no more.  On day 3, my husband contacted the company to tell them of his concerns.  He was assured he would receive a call from the owner.  That call never came.  Twice we had workers not show up and, in addition, one day where they could not work due to a personal problem the guy was having (by the way, he did explain it in detail and it was more information than anyone should be sharing with a customer).  So, as we are in to week three of what should have been a 5 day remodel, we have a new company making repairs to all of the problems created by the workers at Handyman Guys.  Without going in to laundry list of issues (one of which included exposed wiring and insulation), I will tell you I would never recommend anyone hire Handyman Guys to do their work.  It was a waste of my time and money.

Be careful before you sign any agreement with this company!

I signed a long-term agreement with this company for routine service and they failed to mention that they will not cover any product warranties except Maytag. We do not have a Maytag HVAC system and now they tell me they will not honor any other HVAC manufacturer's warranty. So, basically I will need to hire another HVAC contractor to come out and repair our units if a part under warranty needs to be replaced (or pay them for a part that would be covered under warranty). I sure wish they would have explained this up-front (especially since manufacturer's warranties typically cover parts for 10-12 years)!

The more frustrating part is when I called and tried to explain that this probably should have been mentioned up-front, the owner's wife (who is in charge of their service agreements) said well, you signed the agreement and we can not cancel or refund any agreement. She did not seem too concerned about the extra money it will cost me...or understand that this is not really good business.

I like all the technicians that we have dealt with at this company, but be very careful before you sign anything with this company. And, don't expect any kind of customer service if you have an issue!
