Best Plumbing Services in New York
I doubt these positive reviews are from real people. Set up 3 different appointments, they never showed up. Each time I called to inquire they had no memory or notation of my appointment. Cancelled and would not use again.

Manny came on short notice after another plumber cancelled on me at the last minute on my only day off. He was punctual and professional. He cleared a blockage in the plumbing of my kitchen sink and replaced some parts. I feel fortunate to have found him after a quick google search. I won't hesitate to call him for any drain issues down the road.

I got to give shout out to Juan. He came out on a Sunday night no questions asked. Took care of the problem efficiently and professionally. Looks like we got us a new plumber.

This review is for Joe The Plumber, Brooklyn, 6124 16th Ave, 11204, tel: 917-295-5243, email: [email protected]…. Their master plumber is Ray Derosa, LIC#955. As a courtesy, I have entered this same review under the listing for the plumber Ray Derosa.
I had Joe the Plumber's name scratched down on a piece of paper, so I think I got it from a neighbor a year or two ago.. I also saw him listed on Angies List. I called him last week to replace the anode in my 65 gallon A.O. Smith water heater (sold by Sears as a PowerMiser 9). The A.O. Smith does not make that size water heater anymore, so I am trying to stretch the life of the current water heater by replacing the anode every 3-5 years. For those unfamiliar with water heaters, the anode rod is a sacrificial piece of metal (usually magnesium or a zinc-aluminum alloy) that hangs in your water heater and prevents the tank from rusting. It takes the hit and oxidizes (ie: rusts) instead of the metal in the tank.
I contacted about 7 different plumbers, but only 2 plumbers were willing to come and replace water heater anodes. Of those two plumbers, the other plumber replaces only large commercial water heaters anode rods at nearly double the cost, so the choice was easy. Joe came the next week with plumbing crew, figured out how to remove a 4 foot long anode rod with less than 16 head-room above the water heater, and managed to squeeze in a new anode rod. The total cost was $250, which seemed fair the actual cost of replacing the water heater in about 5 more years if I did not replace the anode rod.

My wife and I came acrosss Plumber New York a friends reccomendation and we were very glad. They answered the call immmediately and gave us a terrific estimate for our budget and agreed to do doing the work immediately. They were necer intrusive in our home nor were they tardy in getting the job done and cleaning up as if they weren't there at all! There was never a time when our call wasn't answered to swiftly if not immediately. As an added bonus we needed new fixtures and John helped us find the best (and tasteful, fashionable desiegn) kind and stay within our budget. We won't hesitate to call Plumber NYC again.

Calling Pete's Plumbing Repair was one of the best decisions I have ever made. We had a clogged main sewer line that was causing water to back up into the house. Of course it happens Saturday of Easter weekend, and I expected to pay an arm and a leg to get someone to come out. I called Pete and he said he could be here in hour or so. He was right on time and not only fixed the issue, but explained what happened and gave some tips on how to keep the system working properly. His price was way less then Roto rooter and it was a pleasure dealing with him. Looks like we found our plumber !!

This review is a little late but I really wanted to come back and make sure to give this business a huge shout out.
I had a very small problem with my sink that I wanted to fix myself. Zach spoke with me on the phone and talked me through the whole thing, step by step, and didn't charge me a dime! He was incredibly friendly, helpful and patient and DEFINITELY earned my trust and future business!

We highly recommend Angelo C Plumbing to anyone who needs a skilled plumber. He is local and has been our plumber for over 15 years. He is always helpful, honest and charges a fair price.
I was curious about a few plumbing questions. Angelo was very patient and explained everything in detail.
We highly recommend Angelo C Plumbing. He is a plumber that actually cares and wants it done correctly.
A+ in our book.

My family has been using Frank for almost a decade. He has done almost every installation or repair possible for us...and some very complex jobs. He always provides outstanding quality, quick turnaround, fair prices, available at short notice, and always with a smile. Do not hesitate to hire him. My only regret on posting this review is now I can't monopolize his services.

Carmine was a lifesaver. He came promptly when he said he would and looked at my heating issue. I had work done by a third party National Grid has a contract with and they came in the morning and they turned off my gas but when they were done they turned the gas back on but could not turn on my boiler. They said they it wasn't their responsibility even they tried several different ways to turn it back on. I called Carmine in a panic at 2pm as it was going to drop 20F overnight and with a newborn I was worried. He came promptly and as promised and fixed it in two seconds and also did extra maintenance/tune up. He is a really nice guy, honest and thorough. He also wont overcharged you for his work. Highly recommend him!

I just used Clear Flow and am sure I was being taken advantage of. The original quote was $550 plus tax to cap a pipe. After calling another reputable service I've used in Southern Jersey, I was told that was an unfair quote, and should have been closer to $250. After I mentioned that, Clear Flow brought the price down to $445. I still did not agree to the work however, because they hadn't even evaluated the entire situation.
Eventually (after starting the work without my approval) we came to an agreed price of $350 plus tax, but they requested CASH!?!? Come on. They started the work of capping the pipe and assured me it would not affect other appliances. Famous last words because once it was all complete, my stove didn't work! They did fix their problem without a fight...so that is good i guess. But when it came to payment they said they did not take credit cards although the Clear Flow website clearly states that.
I've lived in Jersey City for 10 years. I have yet to find reputable workers that are trustworthy and kind. I'll continue searching and post when they day comes.

Myguy was recommended to me by my HVAC guy, and before calling I read reviews on google (why are almost all of the Yelp reviews filtered? They're not all fake, Yelp!) and looked them up on the Better Business Bureau website. Everything checked out and I gave them a call. Was told there was a fee for coming out to do the estimate but that it would be absorbed into the price if I ended up using them. Mike (and apprentice) showed up within 20 minutes of the text that announced they were on the way, so they were on time. They both were wearing 2 masks which I appreciated, and when they entered my crawl space, wore booties. The pricing seemed reasonable and Mike actually ended up saving me some money by pointing out some reasons why I didn't need one of the items I had wanted to install. He also made some great suggestions like a WiFi shut off valve for my main water valve since this is a secondary property I must be vigilant on winterizing it.

I've used Martin Plumbing and Heating three times now, and with excellent results. They are not cheap but their prices seem fair for the quality of work they do. Here were three different jobs:
Job 1: Linkage under sink dripped. I tried to fix it, but once I got one sealed right another one leaked. Martin came over and came up from the truck with any necessary parts. They rebuilt it, and it was rock solid for years. They were professional and courteous and knew exactly what they were doing.
Job 2: Drain backup between two bathrooms. Not only would the water not drain, but it would fill the opposite sink in the other bathroom as well. They snaked it (and had to go really deep) and pulled out a whole cat's worth of hair. Again, fast, efficient, effective.
Job 3: Biggest job ever was to replace all the radiator valves. The old ones leaked and we were about to redo the floors. Not only did they offer two types of valves, but they took the time to explain each and why the existing valves didn't last. They took the time to make sure the radiators were properly drained in the entire apartment line. They tested everything before they left.
You might find cheaper, but I don't think you'll find better. I'm practically looking forward to Job #4.

These guys are rude and have no business sense. They have no idea how to talk to customers. I called them and asked them for rates hourly or by job and they just asked me to call someone else and hung up right away.. Way to go L Pini.. If this is how you do business with customers the day won't be far when you are out of Hoboken. I recommend not to waste your time and call someone else.
