I called R. Barone Plumbing for some help with a leaking toilet (at the base). He came the next day, got to work and finished in nearly the time he estimated. They had to remove the toilet, change out the gasket, realign and balance the bowl.
The space was cleaned after they finished their work and we have a functioning toilet in less than 24 hours since the call. Good guy to work with. Our bill was $420.00. He doesn't take credit cards.

We needed a bathtub drain unclogged in a pinch and Manny was able to come the same day. He was very courteous, professional, and even took off his shoes before coming into the apartment. His pricing was reasonable and overall it was as great an experience as having a bad bathtub clog can possibly be. We will definitely call him again in the future if we have any other plumbing problems!

We contacted Statewide Sewer and Drain for a clogged kitchen sink around 4:45 pm. Juan provided a response with an estimate within minutes. His price was very reasonable. Although he was on another job, he made a special effort to put us on the schedule and come out later that evening as soon as he finished his other job. He called when he finished the other job and provided an estimated arrival time (8:00 pm). He arrived at the stated time and cleared out the clogged drain at the agreed to price. We were very pleased to get the clogged drain fixed so quickly at a reasonable price.

Needed a new boiler and water heater for house recently bought.  Joe and his people were punctual, neat and efficient.  They also took care of other minor items saving an additional service call.   They took ownership of the job. I would highly recommend as opposed to going to some impersonal shop.

My wife and I came acrosss Plumber New York a friends reccomendation and we were very glad. They answered the call immmediately and gave us a terrific estimate for our budget and agreed to do doing the work immediately. Calling Pete's Plumbing Repair was one of the best decisions I have ever made. We had a clogged main sewer line that was causing water to back up into the house. Of course it happens Saturday of Easter weekend, and I expected to pay an arm and a leg to get someone to come out. I called Pete and he said he could be here in hour or so. He was right on time and not only fixed the issue, but explained what happened and gave some tips on how to keep the system working properly. His price was way less then Roto rooter and it was a pleasure dealing with him. Looks like we found our plumber !!

I can't say enough about Carmine.  He is responsive, thorough, highly competent and a really nice guy.  He squeezed me in on a Friday when my furnace was not working, did a fix but warned that he might need to come back if another part was not working properly.  Sure enough, I contacted him late Saturday afternoon and he came at 8:30 on Sunday to replace the additional part.  An old-fashioned, service-oriented guy.  Highly recommended.

Had a very good experience with clear flow plumbing. We had to replace our shower body immediately because of an issue. Ronaldo and his team squeezed us in their tight schedule. After fixing, we realized that the pressure of the equipment that we bought was not enough, we requested them to look into the issue. Not only did they look into it promptly, they have also offered to do the replacement for free!

I was given specific violations from NJ Natural gas. They came- and their first idea was to bring gas pipe through the bathroom (?) and rip out the tile wall( and exterior wall) it's a long way from the problem. I didn't mention I had worked for a HVAC company in the past- and knew enough, that that was stupid. He said he would try and think of something else.. and call someone.. he came up with ( I need two shut off valves, a leak fixed in the line going into the gas line and the outside pipe) breaking through the wall behind the range( but they are not dry wallers ) and connecting the pipe.  $1,600. Or a less practical answer of separate piping outside to all three appliances $4,000. Hard pass.

If I could give Martin Plumbing less than a star, I would. We have always used them to service our boiler in the past, as well as do other plumbing. We had never had any problems before. Had to call them last week when our boiler overflowed, getting water throughout the system to leak from almost every radiator, none of which was Martin's fault. We had drained the system before their plumber arrived. Because we had done that to get the water out of the pipes and stop all the water cascading through every room in the house, the valve that caused the problem seemed to be working. The valve is old. The plumber (a new guy to us) came out, pronounced the problem was gone without really checking the valve carefully, or assessing it's age or anything. He decided sediment must of been the problem even through we told him we had flushed water out of the system about 2 weeks ago. He said its probably fine and we should flush water more often. We asked is something wrong with the valve and he said no since it seemed to be working fine now. We asked if this could happen again and were told no, very unlikely since it seemed to be working again without his having done anything. He did some work on another pipe at our request. No problems while he was here but less than a week later the whole thing happened again causing much more extensive damage in the house. When we called Martin, got same guy on phone who didn't take any responsibility since it was fine while I was there and during the time I did the other work. Also told us despite the fact we had to shut the boiler down and have no heat while it's 29 degrees outside that it would take 5 days for him to return because of his schedule. The new part would be $300 plus labor. We got a new plumber here who was able to see exactly what was going wrong with the valve immediately. As i sit here in freezing cold house, I can tell you that I am extremely unhappy with Martin Plumbing. I do not feel that their response was adequate at all, especially in light of the return of the original issue and the additional damage to my house.

I have been using L Pini and Sons for years now and here's why. Recently I had a leak in my shower. I called them at 8am and were at my place that morning sorting out my problem immediately.

They are old school and approach the work accordingly, like when they fixed my water heater (2 other plumbers recommended replacing it). It's been working for over 3 years now with no issues since they fixed it.

Any issue I've had has been fixed. Anything that might need a tweak they come back and address it quickly.
