This literally the first yelp review I ever wrote. Jimmy was a life savor!! He answered right away and was here by my apartment in 10 mins!  He was done in less than 5 mins! I would definitely recommend him. Prices are reasonable as well.

A great resource for your electrical needs. We worked with Sein Me on the installation of 4 ceiling lights in our hallway. Prompt and professional interaction the entire time. We will use again!

As many others mentioned, these contractors are professional, efficient, clean and friendly. They arrived on time, put down a tarp to protect our wooden floors, and cleaned up the limited mess they made. They completed two major installations in six hours.

They installed marquis lights, patched up the previous outlets with spackle, and connected them to new outlets. Mike may be somewhat somewhat difficult to get a hold of, but it's worth the effort to be persistent. Definitely would hire again.

I had an excellent experience with Omeshwar.  He was very professional and did a great job installing a number of dimmers throughout my house.  There were a couple complicated issues that arose during the install, and Omeshwar handled them like a pro.  He was also a pleasure to work with, was great at communicating, and was reasonably priced.  Will definitely be going back to him in the future!

My husband and I needed an electrician to provide an electrical upgrade quote during our final walkthrough. We did an internet search and really liked the reviews left for No Shorts Electric. I made an appointment with Mike over the phone and he was able to meet us early in the morning. During his inspection he provided us with a detailed plan on what was needed and what could be done with our home and garage. After receiving the estimate we proceeded to setup a date to have the work done. I was worried that it would take a few days, but Mike brought a whole team to knock the job out within a day. We are very satisfied with the work of his team and would recommend them to anyone in need of an electrician.

I've worked with Xpert Electric a few times now on  a number of electric projects I've had and they've become my go-to for any electrical issues.  Xavier and his team are always on time and gets the job done ahead of schedule.  It's been a pleasure working with them and we'll continue to do so in the future.

Serge was very efficient and honest. He came on time around 10 a.m. and left his tools and the ladder after seeing the wall heights. We have 12 ft walls so he needed a tall ladder. He returned after 45 mins as there is no free parking near our Condominium and he had to park almost 7/8 blocks away. He put up all the paintings as well as the Zebra skin on the wall properly. We were delighted with his work. He didn't waste any time even though he was working on an hourly basis. He also started his time after parking the car.

I certainly recommend him highly for any installation job.

Jaime from Fuentes Family Electrical helped me out big time. We were ordering new appliances and needed to coordinate the specs for the machines with the power drops in my house. I was told by the appliance store that I would need to do some electrical work to make it happen.

Jamie made it extremely simple. He was helpful, very personal, interested, super knowledgable, and just nice. He offered to come over and assess the problem by morning, and even to walk me through it on the phone right there.

I actually didn't need his services in the end, but I will be calling for all of my electrical needs in the future.

Alex was the only one able/willing to come same day (Sunday).  He diagnosed and fixed our washing machine very quickly.  Very happy with the service, would call him again for any future appliance repairs.

I just used Gambi Electric for the first time, based upon their excellent reviews on Yelp, which are totally justified.  Eugene and his partner were fantastic.  They are really nice guys who diagnosed my electrical problem almost immediately as well as determining another problem with my circuit breakers that I was not aware of.  They fixed everything at a very reasonable price.  They obviously have years of experience and know what they are doing.

I immediately got a great vibe from these guys, that they are trustworthy, totally professional and good people.  I plan to use them for my future electrical jobs.  I highly recommend them.  Jeff Anderson

Hired rob to rewire my attic had some damage before from a short that went wrong, he was fair with the price and quality workmanship.

I started discussing the project I had with Ciro back in April. I needed someone to add mesh to the bottom of my fence line to deal with rats coming from neighboring yards.  This required digging up a garden and trying to preserve the 70 year old plants along the fence line. He took a look at the job and gave a very reasonable price.  Ciro did the work in one day, came on time, prepared with his own tools and left the job site in a clean fashion (and he provided me with a receipt).  A true professional.   Brooklyn is in the need of a good handyman and I think they found one.  I look forward to using Ciro again in the future.

I hired this contractor to replace my circuit boxes and to bring in an extra 100 amps of electricity.  It was a seven day job.   The work they performed was done perfectly.  Pasquale who owns the business with his father was a pleasure to deal with.   They arranged for the building department to inspect the job and of course I received an approval for the work on the first inspection.  He labeled all the circuit breakers and all the boxes were installed level.  Great attention to details.  They covered the floor and put up plastic and left my house broom clean.   Pasquale also fixed a few other small  electrical problems I was having without charge.   If you have a big job to do, please ask Pasquale to show you the work he did in my brownstone in Park Slope.

Avoid at all costs.  I asked the guy (Jeff Brausewetter) to install a 220v outlet for a new dryer and he said he needed to put in a new breaker box.  I paid for it, and he came and installed it; he told me he was almost done but just needed to get the part for the outlet.  Then he stopped answering the phone or replying to my texts.  Finally he replied saying that he had been locked out of his phone and would sort me out, but after that he became unresponsive at the new number too.  Finally I had another electrician out (Riviera Electric, recommended).  He explained that (i) Jeff's breaker box was completely useless, and (ii) he hadn't actually done anything except for screwing the box onto the wall - no wiring or anything.  So, I'm out over $300 with nothing to show for it except for a useless breaker box that I'm going to have to throw away.  BEWARE!
