I had an excellent experience with Omeshwar.  He was very professional and did a great job installing a number of dimmers throughout my house.  There were a couple complicated issues that arose during the install, and Omeshwar handled them like a pro.  He was also a pleasure to work with, was great at communicating, and was reasonably priced.  Will definitely be going back to him in the future!

No Shorts Electric completely knocked it out of the park! They updated our 50's-era electrical panel to a modern, 200-amp system for our 2-family house. Now the house is finally ready for the 21st century! Estimates are free and -- this is important -- comprehensive. I knew there wouldn't be any surprises when it was time for payment, which was the main reason I picked them over a rival firm.

Equally important, everyone, from Mike (the estimator) to Dominick and Nick (the work crew) was super friendly, respectful,  and totally professional. The minute Dominick looked me square in the eye and shook my hand when they got here, I knew I had made a great choice. I am already planning to call on them for the next phase of work.

Xavier and his crew are truly top notch. They have done extensive work at my rental property in Little Ferry.  Always showed up on time and finished on the agreed budget and within agreed time frame. Before I found these guys I would have to deal with fly by night contractors who wouldn't show up or needed to be baby sat. I continue using Xpert Electric for service calls at other properties. We called this company based on Yelp reviews in a pinch when the old chandelier in our new house caught fire at 7:30 pm on a weekday. No kidding. We looked at 24-hour electricians with five-star reviews and Fuentes was one of them. I called, Jamie answered, I told him the issue and that I wanted the chandelier removed tonight and to go to sleep knowing there wasn't a wiring issue I needed to worry about overnight. He gave me a reasonable price to come over and diagnose the problem and said it would cost a bit more to install a new light and dimmer (once he got here and he figured out what the problem was). He was prompt, knowledgeable, friendly, and informative. We will definitely call again! Highly recommended.

Alex was the only one able/willing to come same day (Sunday).  He diagnosed and fixed our washing machine very quickly.  Very happy with the service, would call him again for any future appliance repairs.

scam artists ... beware these guys would use every trick in the book to milk you out of every penny..do not use them .if you want to save yourself of a big night mare... They came to my house to fix a light and cheated my wife telling her the breaker was fried, when it was just fine and that the fuse was burned and took $490 dollars to address the issue.  This also happened to another friend of us.  Don't be there next victim...

i just had Eugene and his partner from Gambi come over and do some work on my house. I couldn't have been happier with the quality of their work. They showed up when they said they would. They quoted me a price before they arrived. And they both could not have been nicer guys. It's a pleasure to have found a company that understands what professionalism and courtesy are all about. MG

Hired rob to rewire my attic had some damage before from a short that went wrong, he was fair with the price and quality workmanship.

Called Ciro for a very dangerous situation.  I had a rotted window frame with the pane suspended only by the bottom corner.  The bottom of the frame was leaning against the air conditioner.  At any time, the pane could have fallen out of the frame.

Ciro responded very quickly.  He came and gave me a reasonable estimate and completed this job and another issue.  He was on time and very professional.

I hired this contractor to replace my circuit boxes and to bring in an extra 100 amps of electricity.  It was a seven day job.   The work they performed was done perfectly.  Pasquale who owns the business with his father was a pleasure to deal with.   They arranged for the building department to inspect the job and of course I received an approval for the work on the first inspection.  He labeled all the circuit breakers and all the boxes were installed level.  Great attention to details.  They covered the floor and put up plastic and left my house broom clean.   Pasquale also fixed a few other small  electrical problems I was having without charge.   If you have a big job to do, please ask Pasquale to show you the work he did in my brownstone in Park Slope.

Avoid at all costs.  I asked the guy (Jeff Brausewetter) to install a 220v outlet for a new dryer and he said he needed to put in a new breaker box.  I paid for it, and he came and installed it; he told me he was almost done but just needed to get the part for the outlet.  Then he stopped answering the phone or replying to my texts.  Finally he replied saying that he had been locked out of his phone and would sort me out, but after that he became unresponsive at the new number too.  Finally I had another electrician out (Riviera Electric, recommended).  He explained that (i) Jeff's breaker box was completely useless, and (ii) he hadn't actually done anything except for screwing the box onto the wall - no wiring or anything.  So, I'm out over $300 with nothing to show for it except for a useless breaker box that I'm going to have to throw away.  BEWARE!
