Yesterday the Wife used a HairBlower to seal window plastic around the A/C unit & forgot the space heater was on tripped the breaker. I tried to reset breaker with no luck. One phone call this morning, Mike answered. I told him the problem, he instructed me, & I tried again. It worked. Thank you Mike, for your time during a Snowstorm . Power Restored. A+++++

A few years ago I hired Xpert Electric to rewire our house because we had old knob and tube wiring.  They did a good job, EXCEPT that while installing some recessed lights in the living room, they sawed through the ceiling and the floor of the bedroom above, leaving a gash in the floor of that second-floor bedroom.  I actually thought this was perhaps an honest mistake and something likely to happen to any other electrician doing a similar job, but I now think that they are just careless when they work.  Last week I brought them back to install an new outlet in my dining room thinking that there was a low probability of damage.  However, while making the hole for the new outlet, Henry sawed through  the wall and made a gash in the siding on the outside of the house (!).  I know he noticed that he had sawed through the wall, because I saw him go outside and at the time I wondered what he was getting from outside (it was really cold).  He never pointed out the damage to or apologized for it.  For these reasons I can't recommend them.

One thing I just want to add, partly in response to Xpert Electric's answer and also for the benefit of other homeowners out there, is that gashes in 100-year-old wood flooring are not fixable.  You can't swap out the broken boards with new ones, because you can't get that flooring anymore, and even if you could, it would never match the flooring that has aged in place in the house.  The only thing my flooring guy was able to do was fill in the gash with wax, but it takes a real artist to make that wax match the grain of the wood, and unfortunately I have not yet found anyone who can do that well.  That's all to say that the couple of hundred dollars of credit that Xpert gave me on a $23k job for sawing through my floor doesn't even come close to the actual cost of the damage that they did, because that damage can't really be repaired.  I appreciate their latest offer to fix the most recent hole through my wall, but I don't want them to ever touch my house again.  The least they can do is remove me from their ridiculous subscription service and lose my number.

Serge was very efficient and honest. He came on time around 10 a.m. and left his tools and the ladder after seeing the wall heights. We have 12 ft walls so he needed a tall ladder. He returned after 45 mins as there is no free parking near our Condominium and he had to park almost 7/8 blocks away. He put up all the paintings as well as the Zebra skin on the wall properly. We were delighted with his work. He didn't waste any time even though he was working on an hourly basis. He also started his time after parking the car.

I certainly recommend him highly for any installation job.

Jaime from Fuentes Family Electrical helped me out big time. We were ordering new appliances and needed to coordinate the specs for the machines with the power drops in my house. I was told by the appliance store that I would need to do some electrical work to make it happen.

Jamie made it extremely simple. He was helpful, very personal, interested, super knowledgable, and just nice. He offered to come over and assess the problem by morning, and even to walk me through it on the phone right there.

I actually didn't need his services in the end, but I will be calling for all of my electrical needs in the future.

They have us a very good price. They came same day. They had the part in stock. They were flexible. They fixed the issue. The price was very reasonable especially for same day. We strongly recommend them.

Gambi came over to install some undercounter lighting and move/add kichen outlets.  1.  Good work.  2. Fair price (2 guys, 4 hours, $375?  - can't complain about that). 3. English speaking. 4. If you're going to have guys in your house for four hours, it helps if they're friendly and interesting people.  Eugene is both.  Highly-recommended.

Hired rob to rewire my attic had some damage before from a short that went wrong, he was fair with the price and quality workmanship.

I called up to have my room painted and tv mounted and couldn't be more happier. Ciro came to my home gave me Fair price and did the work like a real professional. I highly recommend him to anyone e looking for great work at a reasonable price.

Had them install a sensor light for my driveway.
Called them up, came over, he gave me a price and I hired him.
Provided the sensor-light, in a few hours the job was complete.
Would use them for other projects.

Avoid at all costs.  I asked the guy (Jeff Brausewetter) to install a 220v outlet for a new dryer and he said he needed to put in a new breaker box.  I paid for it, and he came and installed it; he told me he was almost done but just needed to get the part for the outlet.  Then he stopped answering the phone or replying to my texts.  Finally he replied saying that he had been locked out of his phone and would sort me out, but after that he became unresponsive at the new number too.  Finally I had another electrician out (Riviera Electric, recommended).  He explained that (i) Jeff's breaker box was completely useless, and (ii) he hadn't actually done anything except for screwing the box onto the wall - no wiring or anything.  So, I'm out over $300 with nothing to show for it except for a useless breaker box that I'm going to have to throw away.  BEWARE!
