Best Electricians in New York, NY

I've used this service on 2 occasions - both times went very smoothly.  Moe was  responsive to my initial inquiries, following up with a proposal and a reasonable estimate.  I was able to choose a day and time for the service visit that was convenient for me.  The electrician (both times, Steve) showed up within the 2 hour window they gave me.  Steve is great - knows what he's doing, works steadily, efficiently, cleanly.  In particular, he takes great care when moving his equipment in, around, and out of my apt.  I have a lot of decorative objects that some may say is almost like an obstacle course!  He paid strict attention to his surroundings, insuring nothing was damaged.  That, I was quite thankful for.  In addition, Steve is friendly and personable - laughed at my little jokes, even asked a question about some art work I have on display - all without distracting himself from his work at hand.  A pleasure to have him in my home!    Mark R.

Rich came to my house right on time (15 minutes early, actually) and worked quickly and efficiently. After diagnosing the problem (something about loads and gfis and something something), he resolved the problem, and did some rewriting to prevent the issue from happening again.

Pricing was very fair too. It also helps that Rich is full licensed. I'll probably be calling him again for a service upgrade this year.

Fast Service, ontime, professional, and does a thorough job to ensure things were setup safely and correct. Price is reasonable - for fast and reliable service. He was in and out of my home in 2 hours then assisted in my other home two days later, again under 2 hours. Would recommend highly.

These guys saved me on a Sunday. Our business lost power over the weekend and we needed to be open on Monday. The electrician met me early Sunday morning, spent the day tracing wires through our old building, and identified the problem. Somehow they found us a replacement part on a Sunday afternoon and got everything back running again. I was in a major bind and they were amazing - quick to respond, effective, and easy to communicate with.

Nice and reliable guy but...  it took two visits, 5 hours of work in total and a $900 bill... to find one outdoor electrical outlet that was rusted and creating a short.   What was more disappointing is that the same outlet creating the problem was apparently tested during the first visit but deemed in good working order (not sure how that happened).  When at the end of the second visit we discovered by luck where the problem was coming from (we heard a pop in the faulty outlet while testing something else)  I pointed out that the issue should/could have been identified the first time around if tested properly and as a result I politely asked for a break;  my request received no consideration - my time is my time I was told.  I respect that.  But so here it is: 2 stars and I am tempted to add  my opinion is my opinion so be it.

We are a property management company so we not only know the technical side of things to make sure that the work gets done properly but also we want the best.  We demand that the contractor is responsive, diligent, technically competent, and can respond to difficult problems.  John from JEM Lighting really impressed me with his work.

Don't let the name of the company fool you.  I had originally thought that this was simply a lighting specialist but he's an electrician by trade.  He can figure out all the electrical needs that you have.  He did for us.

I can tell you that there are a lot of terrible contractors out there.  When there presented with even a slight difficulty that's not normal, they don't know how to react.  But John, quickly pivoted and did the work quickly and at a fair price.

With John, the owner, you'll really find someone who's fair and won't take advantage of you.

We decided to hold off from doing the work, but when we do it this is who I'll be contacting, as well as for other electrical issues.
I gave them 4 stars because we did not have the work done, but I'm pretty certain they will get 5 stars when we are able to have the job completed.

Mike was great.  First helping me over the phone to determine the issue.  The he stopped by and immediate knew the issue and fixed it.

Danny is awesome.  Fixed outlets outside and inside that didn't work right, added an outlet to the front of my house, installed a ceiling fan for me.  Honestly, really nice and knows his stuff.  On time and did extra things that I'm sure he didn't anticipate, thanks Danny!

Quick to respond and set up time with me! I needed a burned out outlet replaced and they came by a day or two later. Pricing was slightly higher than with others I reached out to but not too much. Would work with them again. Thanks!

I will definitely call Eco Electrician for future needs. I just had an issue with my outlets blowing, and was troubleshooted through how to get them back on without requiring a home visit. All the other electricians I called previously quoted hundreds of dollars to come by and troubleshoot, and Eco Electrician just talked me through it quickly on the phone. Thank you!

We bought a 2 family home in Brooklyn and Cel Electric installed new electrical service for the entire house. Very happy with the service.. will definitely recommend and use them for all my future needs. Will rate them 10 out of 10.

I reached out to a couple of electricians in the area to install recessed lights and a box to install two fans for my apartment. Yoni was the only one that came to see the place and provided me a quote, answered all my questions and truly assessed the place to make some recommendations which I sincerely appreciated.
Yoni and his team were very professional and able to accommodate my tight schedule and the job was superb. It was just a great experience and I felt very comfortable. He will definitely be my electrician moving forward.

Okay, all I did was call to get an idea about replacing my thermostat. When he answered he did not identify his company (big turn off. This is business not your house). Then he kept saying I don't know I don't know. Okay fair enough. However I gave you all the answers location of current thermostat which is where I want the new to be placed and location of boiler. The thermostat almost over the boiler. He says I don't know about $1000. Sir GOOD BYE!  Highest NATIONAL average is $442.

I could not be happier with Don from DLP Electric. He is super knowledgeable and professional and showed up early. Last week, he helped me resolve an issue with the entire electrical wiring in the house where I rent an apartment. Don's expertise is going to get me thousands of dollars back from my landlord for overpayment of PSE&G bills. There were 2 electricians here that day, and it was clear that Don was the true expert. Even the other electrician was asking Don for advice. Thanks Don for sharing your knowledge with us.

Was prompt, courteous, went out of there way to get the job done. I picked them because they gave the lowest price but there service was great also. Came last night and then came back early morning to finish.  Super Job!

Did great work. But my wife had to handle payment while I was away. And he charged her TWICE what he quoted me. He also created another issue by moving our dryer in front of a window we need access to. When I reached out to him about this. He just relied thank you. Would NOT recommend.

What wonderful things can't I say about Katie?! So prompt and efficient and got right down to business! We had a great chat with her while she took care of our very old and falling apart sofa. She gave us options as to what she could do to fix the problem, including any additional costs or time frame. She has a plethora of skills and I'm eager to utilize her skills again with other home repair projects. She is comfortable and friendly but wonderfully professional and quick too. Her skill set is very advanced and I trust her willingness and ability to attempt any repair, or give you her honest opinion as to what will/won't work. I would recommend her to anyone and it is honestly refreshing to have a wonderfully talented woman completing these tasks in our home. We'll see you soon Katie!

I found Roman's company on Yelp and he lives up to his reviews! Reasonably priced and very easy to work with. He responded to my request via Yelp within hours, came to our office to give me a quote on the same day, and came back to install later that week (which was done in one day!). When we had an issue with the machine we were plugging into the dedicated outlet he installed, Roman came out free of charge to make sure that the outlet was OK (and it was!). Thanks Roman!
