We had a wonderful experience.  Had an emergency situation requiring a Saturday service call.  Easily made arrangements on Friday for that Saturday. Ralph arrived on time and quickly troubleshot the issue.  He had all equipment needed in his van and returned quickly to complete the job. He was professional, skilled, neat and friendly.  He changed our electrical outlet, added the necessary components to our electrical panel, and patched and sanded the wall. When he was done, he cleaned the entire area and left the space in the exact condition it had been in when he arrived.  We highly recommend Ralph and NYC Electricians.

An electrical outlet suddenly began to make a loud buzzing and began to spew black smoke. I was frightened, needless to say. I called Nair Electric and described the problem. Within an hour Gaston was here after having stopped at the hardware store to buy the right part. Extremely excellent and professional service! And this was on a Sunday! When I jumped on Yelp to find an electrician to help with newly discovered wires under a shed we knocked down, G&R were certainly the most aggressive in responding and making themselves available to check out my issue.

They arrived on time, scoped out the job... and even suggested we keep the wiring for future use for a light inside the new shed.

We live in a new world, and more than ever I appreciate professionalism and a company that wants my business. G&R did a great job, and I will certainly use them again when the need arises.

Danny has stellar customer service and while he was unable to fix my issue due to his license being valid in NY and I live in NJ he was still willing to offer a long and very informative explanation on my issue. Not too many ppl are willing to help without any financial benefit.

I am certain that if Danny was licensed in my state that I would hire him in a heartbreak.

Don't recommend. He was like you didn't pay me from three years ago. I said why didn't you say anything? Nothing. Slightly aggressive and annoying. I would hire someone else.

Yoni came to my house as promised on time. He called me back very promptly yesterday, was very polite and answered all my questions without any kind of pressure or hard sales tactics. I truly felt that he meant what he said in that he wanted my job to be done the right way, and in a manner that I would be happy with.

It was a simple job that I needed. I had an older dryer hooked up to the circuit breaker, I asked him to disconnect it, then, install an outlet that would enable the new dryer to be hooked up to it. He was very patient answering all my questions, and he checked out the specs to make sure that the amperages were sufficient and that all would be smooth for the installation of my new dryer.

I felt pleased with his initial estimate, very pleased with how quickly and efficiently he worked and would not hesitate to use his services again.

Highly recommended.

I'm so thrilled I found Ilya here on Yelp!  I texted him re: replacing an old ceiling fan/light combo with a new light fixture I recently bought, and after I sent him a picture of the fixtures, he arranged to come the following morning!  He was polite and knowledgable, got right to work and finished not even 30 minutes later :)  It wasn't cheap but definitely worth the money, and less than an electrical company here in Manhattan quoted me.  Thanks Ilya!

Upgraded dishwasher power line from 15 to 20 amps

This is the second job i've had Don and Pat do and they were awesome. Super professional and did a great job. Needed an upgraded service line for a new dishwasher and they were promptly on time and did a great job. They even helped disconnect the dishwasher (which they did not have to do) to make sure the job was done properly. I'm having them come back to upgrade the whole house and move a meter. I trust them and they do great work.

Nick did an incredible job in our apartment. He cut out a cabinet and routed our plumbing in a very complicated setup. For a very unconventional job, Nick far exceeded our expectations, and at an excellent price. Will definitely use again.

On the day of the appointment, they sent a very competent electrician named Victor. He was very friendly, hard-working and persistent about figuring out the problem. I had to run back to work, but Victor stayed and determined the larger electrical problem. Then, best of all, Cooper Electrical Services only charged me for the initial consultation (even though Victor stayed for over 3 hours!).
