I heard about Bighorn Plumbing from a customers referral.  I called and set up an appointment with a very personable lady.  A confirmation text let me know he was on his way.  Super friendly, very professional and knowledgeable.  His quote was high, but he worked with me on a more agreeable price.  We set up a good date and time for work to be done.  Jesse was on time and worked efficiently.  He got done in time and it was simply PERFECT!  I give his workmanship two thumbs up.  Definately recommend this guy and his company.

I have elected to give an additional star due to being contacted by Mark in regards to my previous review. He was apologetic and refunded me the $75 I was charged additional on my project at the completion of my project. This really shows that the business and owner have integrity I think.

Mighty Mike to the rescue.  From the first message to Mike through Yelps messaging, Mike was timely in replying and professional. Mike gave me a quote prior to arriving and he actually charged me less. Mikes communication skills are impeccable and he's professional. I hope I don't have any future plumbing needs but if I do, I'll be calling Mike.  Highly recommended.

Jerry came out when we really needed him. Toilet replacement. Was here in great time. Reasonable price. Went above and beyond the toilet to help us fix the sink and running toilet upstairs. Very nice guy all together. Was training a new employee who was also nice and helpful. Jerry was also communicative and educational to help us understand what was going on and extra help with the water heater. On my quick dial list! Thanks again!

I had some plumbing work done by B&B and the work was high quality and very affordable.  The men who came to my house were very professional and took the time to answer my questions and address my concerns.  They were very knowledgeable and I got the impression that they had been in the business for a long time.  I was there when they did their work and they were very respectful of my home and not only completed their work in a timely manner but they did a great job.  I would recommend this company to anyone who has plumbing needs.

Absolute Drain Service is fantastic.  They are very honest and trustworthy.  As a property manager, I have the opportunity to utilize our local vendors regularly.  Once I found Absolute Drain, there was not a reason to call anyone else.  Time and time again, they were able to locate and clear clogs that other companies could not.  I can count on always getting a straight answer, a fair price, and the job done.  If you need your drains cleared, call Absolute Drain

I called and left a message that I need a new water heater. They called back within the hour and gave me a basic quote but said they could stop by later to double check on the quote. About 30 mins later Tracy called and said he could stop by and give me a quote now and also do the install now if I wanted. ( I didn't have time for that so I had him come back the next morning) Tracy was on time and got straight to work. Took no time at all. When he was done he helped make sure all the faucets were working correctly and that there were no air bubbles. He then walked me through on how to restart the pilot if it ever went out and how to drain it every year to keep it clear. Now, I like to wait a few months to make sure everything is working before I give a review. This was August 1 when he came out, it is not beginning of October and everything is still working and I'm going to have him back out to do some other plumbing. Highly recommend.

Gates Plumbing just completed installation of a new furnace and a hot water system.  They very professional in their pricing.  They arrived when they said they would and made every effort to get the job done as quickly as possible to keep us from spending a day or two being in a cold home.  The installation looks as good as it operates.

Tony is pleasant, professional and prompt! Very knowledgeable. He got back to me on a Sunday when my water heater died and needed to be replaced. He came out to replace it the next morning. I am very pleased with his work and would highly recommend him.

Complete lack of service or professionalism from this company which is merging with Sierra Air.  Sorry, I generally don't like to write negative reviews but these guys went over the line. This was a simple job for an annual checkup on the hydronic heating system. Took several weeks to get an appointment, another week to get a bid, and was impossible to contact to discuss the bid particulars. Rudy claimed one of my heating zones was not working and needed replacing...odd because we have not noticed any issues with any heat zones. His bid claimed other parts were also not working. After another week of trying but being unable to discuss this with Rudy, I got a message from his office person that he was refusing to do the job. If I could give a zero rating, this company would deserve it.

The new company taking over was nice on the initial call, but has since dropped the ball. There are enough other HVAC companies to use in Tahoe...none of which get negative reviews like this company has.

To say I was pleased with the service I received from Mr Rooter, would be an understatement.  We had a leaking main valve outside our house.  It was causing some pretty substantial pooling/flooding in front of our house.  

I called Mr Rooter that afternoon and they had two guys show up within 2 hours of the call.  The guys were super nice and professional.  I showed them where I found the leaking valve and where the water was coming up and pooling.  The water was also running into the street.  I had to shut the water off to the house for the night.

It was already late that day so they said they would be coming back.  They provided me with a quote and stated they would be back soon.  The next morning at 7am sharp, I received a call from (the owner I believe).  He said they would be coming out ASAP.  

The same 2 guys from the previous day arrived just after 8am and got to work.  They were very nice and professional and told us every time they would be leaving to get a part and explained our costs thoroughly.

The Mr Rooter guys worked at our house for over 9 hours and got the job done.  The price was fair and they were very efficient.  

I got a call from the owner afterwards and he asked if I had any questions and explained everything in detail.  If you are looking for any sort of plumbing needs, use Mr Rooter!!!

Last week Summit made an appointment at our home for 8-10 AM today. They showed up at 12:30 PM no phone call to say they would be late. Not good customer service.
